This was a delicious (and splurge) breakfast. I can't wait to go back!
This was a delicious (and splurge) breakfast. I can't wait to go back!
I love Founding Farmers-it's absolutely delicious! It's reasonably priced for most things, and I'm always happy with the quality of the food. Be sure to get a reservation several days in advance if you want to go for brunch on the weekends, especially on Sundays, because it's always very packed!
Amazing ambience and very affable service. The food was fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. Convenient rates and generous meals. Great work.
Food was subpar to say the least. Not really seasoned. Ribs smelled like cat food. Service was decent. They were accomadating ill give them that. Probably wont be returning
Nice atmosphere. Chicken and waffles was good. The chicken fried steak wasn't that great. Mac and cheese was really good. Whipped potatoes was pretty good. Server was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great food for brunch and dinner! Everything I've ever gotten here has been delicious! Crab Benedict is a favorite!
Food was delicious
Get crowded very quickly
Didn't like it at all!!!
We ordered three medium burgers that came burn. Italian salad that was really bad. The sirloin ''soap'' was nice but to expensive for what we got.
Disappointing!!!
The food was delicious, service was expeditious, and the drinks were strong. However, come ready to pay anywhere between $30-$40 per person, and be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation at peak dinner hours. I have to say though, my favorite part was having a rare steak actually cooked rare!
Food and service was excellent.. But was disappointed because i ordered the prime rib and t it was unavailable.. If it's on the menu then it should be available.. Just saying..
Brunch is amazing here. The food is incredibly good. The staff is attentive even when the restaurant is packed, which is really nice. The location is convenient
I'm not sure why this place is priced as $$$, because the food was fairly affordable.
I came here for brunch and had a tasty beer flight composed of local craft beers. I had the FF breakfast as my entree and it was very satisfying.
Everything was fresh. The braised wings were amazing! My burger was undercooked and they forgot to add the muenster cheese but the waiter instantly replaced it with a well done burger and told them to to add my cheese and make sure my cheddar cheese was still on there as well. I forgot to try the sherbert but it looked good.
Food was great. Service was quick and friendly. Nice atmosphere too!
I finally found myself at Founding Farmers. It's funny; all my friends and coworkers seemed shocked when I said that I'd never been before. I honestly wanted to see what the hype was all about. The hype is definitely warranted. The ambiance and food were excellent. I got the buttermilk pancakes which were delicious.
Delish as usual! Took hubby and the kids out for Father's Day. Strongly recommend booking reservations to minimize wait time.
Went here for Valentine's Day this year. My rib entree was not the typical full rack, although cooked well. However, I rated this highly because of the service, appetizer, salad, and particularly my girlfriend's entree, the chicken and waffles, which was fantastic from the cinnamon syrup to the mac and cheese.
Our food was good and server was very friendly. We were treated well. So grateful.
Fab, best place in Lincoln to eat. Amazing food, such a great atmosphere, very authentic. Can't wait to return.
Service is great, quality of food is a little inconsistent, but when it's good it's great
This place has fantastic food. If you haven t visited it yet you should really check it out. We ve been going there for years.
Great selection of made from scratch cocktails and draft beer from MD breweries including Flying Dog and Jailbreak. Great atmosphere and decor. I only tried an app Fried Green Tomatoes which were good but I can't comment on other food. But there is a large selection of choices. American food. Comfort food.
This was a fun place. Good food. They do take themselves a tad too seriously though with all the talk of sustsinability and free range this and that. Cmon it's a chicken pot pie!
I would give it 4.5 stars if it was possible. Why 4? The burger and side veggies that came with catfish were just too salty while the cheesecake was too sweet. I know it might just be our palates but that's how we felt.
Apart from the salty/sweet issue, everything was really great - fresh and cooked exactly the way we requested. Our waitress was very friendly and offered good recommendations when asked about their gluten free options.
The restaurant is very spacious, with one big open room. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. We'll be coming back.
I went for brunch over the weekend and the food and cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend the Cucumber Delight. It was light and refreshing. The service was also great. We had a reservation for 12:30 but we were early. They had us seated by 12:25. We will be back for dinner next time!
Food pretty good. Prices are a bit high for what you get.
love this place, my friends and I come here often after our nightshifts for some good brunch. The beignets are a little eggy and dense, but I still love them! One of my go to brunch spots
I have been going to breakfast at Farmers since they opened. However after the last three times. I have crossed it off my list. very poor service, the wait staff did not know what they where doing. the menu is very limited. the prices where to high.
the food that was ordered was not cooked to request.dont waste your money
Beautiful bougii venue in downtown Rockville. All the farmers are listened on the walls and the decor and atmosphere is great. They get 4* for farm to table efforts and very visually appealing food. They can earn the 5th star with slightly tastier and less beautiful breakfast and drinks. Seems some of the wuality of taste is sacrificed for visual appeal which isn't my thing. Better taste than visual appeal is the only thing this spot is missing. Service is top notch, highly recommend at least giving them a try once. I think lunch is their best, although breakfast and dinner also good.
Brunch was great. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend making reservations.
One of the best breakfast/brunch spots in MoCo! Great coffee, excellent food, and terrific service!
I really like their food. I recommend eating at the bar to avoid the wait. Unfortunately; there is always a wait, but the service at the bar is fantastic. I like their breakfast menu. They also have these beignets with powered sugar that melts in your mouth. You'll feel like you were in New Orleans at the French Market after one bite.
I stopped by here for lunch on a week day. No problem getting a table for me and my wife.
Service was very good, masks worn and socially distant.
We started with the Devilish eggs, combo. They both were 'just' OK. Somewhat bland, but the chives in the classic made them the better option for us.
All in all, this was a great lunch and will definitely go back for some other items I saw on the menu!
Good farm to table eating experience, fairly typical American style entrees
I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is phenomenal and good quality while maintaining a fair price. If you go, get the Mac N' Cheese. You wont regret it.
Not a fan, we went for Sunday brunch and everyone was disappointed. They "make their own syrup" for waffles and french toast. It was the worst thing we ever tasted. Hard pass.
Truly great experience... Saw so many dishes worthy of ordering. Staff was so friendly and the 2 hours of free parking nice touch for business meeting. I must go back and order their prime rib or pot roast. Chicken and Waffles looks delish. Order the devilish eggs with ham for an appetizer.
Food was prepared well. Atmosphere and prices were both really good. Excellent experience.
If you like eating in the dark, this is the place for you. Without any lighting you can experience the thrill of not seeing your food. Good luck finding your fork. Remeber to bring a flashlight if you want to eat here.
Tasty cocktails. Engaging service. Excellent. Try the corn bread.
Seems to prefer seating foreigners in the crowded section near the kitchen and bar. Also even with a reservation we were seated after other groups.
The service was beyond excellent, thank you Oscar. The garlic black pepper wings and cornbread are must try, you will not be disappointed.
Great cocktails. Great food. Really liked the corn on the cob and the sliders. Biscuits were OUTSTANDING. Skip the potato chips; they're perfectly cooked but poorly salted
Loved the food here. Had an amazing time out with the family. Our waitress was great and the food came out on time. Ordered the chicken and waffles from previous recommendations and was not disappointed. We were able to call ahead and reserve our table for 4 on a Saturday for brunch. Will definitely be visiting again soon
Definitely make reservations! Everything on the menu is amazing! Legit best friend chicken ever.
My first time here and it was awesome!. I like making reservation which their's are done online. Great tasting food that is made from scratch. I will visit Founding Father's again.
Good and unique food. Nice service. A bit noisy for my taste - tables are close with no privacy.
Great food and nice place to meet with friends and family
Our food was good and server was very friendly. We left a cell phone and he called us to say we forgot it. So grateful.
I know one of the owners and we like the food very much.
Awesome food, really slow service. I waited 30 minutes for a refill on my ice tea.
Been here quite a few times. Always great food and drinks here. Farmhouse Platter, Slow cooked Brisket, Meatloaf & gravy, chicken and waffles. Also their bacon and the Mac and cheese. Soo good!
The staff is awesome too!
The food is so delicious and fresh. Great drinks. Warm and friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
Loved the local food, service and hot beignets! What a treat. We had Easter breakfast. Our server and the kitchen brought their A game.
My experience at Founding Farmers was nothing short of amazing. The food was so fresh and made specifically to my satisfaction. One can taste the coherence of organic foods and ingredients. I had their brunch. The pancakes were huge, and the French toast was of the best I ve ever had.
This spot is worth trying. They serve large portions for fair rates. Consistently clean and with great ambience. Will visit here again.
Dinner and drinks were a big step down from past visits, very disappointing.
I'd probably say a 3.5 really. Lots of choices on the menu, which was great. The food was good, but not great. Thinking maybe I should have gone for the ribeye rather than the prime rib...which wasn't as tender as I expected or have had elsewhere. The 7 mac & cheese was flavorful, but kinda dry. The service was okay but not excellent. The bathroom was not very clean and needed deodorizing. I did really enjoy the passion fruit soda. Oh, and the cornbread was really good. If I come back--more likely for company dinner than on my own--I'm more likely to try the scallops or seafood risotto or the mini cheeseburgers.
Guys, I made a reservation a week in advance. You can put me in a booth and not a table on the floor.
Dark 'N Stormy mostly watered down with the # of ice cubes; did not know that amount of ice would be in the drink; fried green tomatoes were more fried crust eliminating the fine tomato; broccolini saturated with melted butter; plank salmon a little undercooked in the middle. Kudos to the whipped potatoes and chocolate mousse! Overpriced meal for what should have been an awesome first visit!
Mediocre food. Very disappointed after hearing sych rave reviews. The beignets were greasy and gross. The pickled vefetables were hard, bendy, not tasty and crunchy. The fried chicken was too greasy as well and poorly seasoned. Very bland.
It was quite busy, however the staff was very friendly and responsive. The food was was excellent and we were served quickly. Highly recommend.
The food here used to be excellent, but now it's hit or miss. Food presentation is no longer a priority and quality is inconsistent. But we continue to come because the kids enjoy the decorations, especially the little mouse in the wall. The service is also friendly and reliable.
I am a big fan of the cracked pepper wings and chilli cheeseburger. Cocktails are fresh and beers cold. You will receive good service and parking validation. Highly recommend this establishment.
Very clean and friendly staff!
I'm vegetarian and I can trust the staffs. They are very very careful with what you are allergic to and your diet. Just let them know! They will surely find something you will love!
No disappoint here!:D 5 stars
