This bank is a joke. I ve never had such terrible customer service and inept representatives on the line. They fraud department calls and immediately hangs up on you then locks your card. As an out of state member I have to spend 25 minutes on the phone every other day getting my debit card unlocked because they can t get their act together. I have now missed payments

I have been with Forum since 2008. For the last year I ve used the account strictly for my Mortgage Payment to be taken out each month. I Recently found out that my account was closed due to an overdraft fee that occurred over 60 days ago. The fee was caused in error from my former mortgage company trying to pull out an mortgage payment that they shouldn t have. I recently refinanced my home, ex.(Why it s been 60 days since I viewed the account.) Once I found out that my account was in the negative and that my account had been closed due to the over draft fee, I immediately called Forum to find out what could ve caused this. From the first time that I spoke with the representative I could hear the rudeness in her tone. Throughout the conversation I felt like I was being interrogated rather than helped. Long story short I ask the representative if my former mortgage company was unable to reimburse me for the error then what payment options were available for me to take care of the negative balance. She then makes the statement will January 3rd work? It s only $182.00. I then requested to speak to a manager because I felt like that statement was completely unprofessional. Jermey responded and I explained to him the situation. I have never felt so disrespected before by someone in customer service. Forum if this is what you teach your employees in their training? If so then you have completely missed the mark. You should not treat anyone with this level of disrespect, let alone someone that has been banking with you over 10+ years. I understand that I spoke to someone In the collections department and they probably hear a lot of lies being told to them. But in this particular situation, an honest error occurred. Like I stated to the manager in the last 10+ years I have never had my account reflect in the negative. Once this situation is resolved I will not be returning to bank with Forum. I have multiple other accounts with different banks that I use and I ve never experienced an issue like this before. My advice to future bankers. STAY FAR AWAY FROM FORUM CREDIT UNION.

So my bank had been over drafted for a month I didnt know right away iv and didnt know my acount had been closed or was even at risk for it until after they closed it i contacted them about it and found that they sent my information about the overdraft to an address I havnt lived at in 2 years tho I did change my address 3 times through the bank to my actual bank I was supposed to have a manager call me back after the gentleman I talked to found the errors but I had some one else call me back and she treated me awful she was all around rude and disrespectful and didnt see it a problem that forum sent confidential information to the wrong address and she was super snobby even asking me why I was just expecting the bank to pay all my Bill's when I had explained that I would have made payments sooner if I had known and the reason I hadn't known was because they didnt send the mail to the right address iv been off work for 4 weeks due to having a positive covid 19 in my house i cant afford to pay for food let alone pay off my acount but all she wanted to do was pressure me into giving them money I repedidly explained I didnt have and I told her I would pay it of when I got to go back to work and act like they hadn't done anything wrong even. Other then giving me payment plan they wont do a single thing to fix the error and I have to go through the whole process to get another acount.way to kick your customers while they are already down.and I'm pretty sure banks arnt aloud to send confidential information to the wrong address like that that is begging for some one to steal my identity and why did they send the 1st 2 notices to the wrong address but sent the acount closure to my home adress..there is somthing very wrong with that. Yes I over drafted I know but I didnt know when it happened didnt find out till about a week or 2 before acount closure and I didnt know my acount would be closed until after they closed it

For a credit union they sure do operate like a bank. Been a member for 15 years but no more. This place has really changed for the worse and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this business to anyone. It's the opposite of what a credit union experience should be.

Forum Credit Union charged me $684 in fees for closing a cd, even though they could have waived the fee, per my attorney. Their response was my attorney does not work for Forum.
Jordan told me to have a nice afternoon and hung up.
I won t be recommending Forum.

Called to discuss my account, spoke with Amanda......Amanda must have been having a bad day because her attitude could have been a little better. I've worked in a call center for years and know exactly what great customer service is. Too bad, because I really like this bank. Amanda....hope you have a better day.

Lucked into this ignorant operation through an auto loan and found out that there is a convenience fee to pay your loan because of their inability to process loan payments in-house. Due to their organization issuing you loans to third-party processors, they off-set their cost to the consumer. Good job FORUM, for um... nothing.

We were suggested to use FORUM Credit Union for our mortgage. We started working with Jamie L. and he was very slow to update us. Our loan was more detailed, as we were trying to get a self-build loan, but he ensured us that it looked good. A few hickups over 6 + months of trying to get approved. Jamie took it upon himself to try to parent us through the loan instead of doing his job. "Why didn't you do this" && would give us a time frame when he would get back. We would never hear back from him within the time frame. We would even give him a grace period and it would result with us trying to get ahold of him to get answers. Typically, took over 48 hours for him to return our call.

He also mentioned to me one day that sometimes he doens't have time for our loan and he may accomplish a different loan that doesn't take as much paperwork. We were put on the backburner and not taken serious because of our age. This was SUCH A HORRIBLE experience and waste of time. We went to another place and got the ball rolling and are ready to build within 2 months. Do not use Jamie L. - he will try to parent you, judge you, and put you on the backburner if he can accomplish a smaller loan.

Today I reviewed one of my accounts. My account ended with a positive balance on12/19/19, but yet I see an overdraft charge. I'm confused. I connect with the chat to speak with someone on the issue. A customer service representative with the name Domonique came on line and confirmed she could assist with the issue. 5 minutes later she is asking for more time because she decides to read notes about my previous action but failing to focus on the concern of my call. My previous history was handled by management why are you concerned with any previous history when today's concern is about the balance of 12/19/19? The lack of quality with customer care for level 1 interaction is unacceptable. I would like to see management to build team members who want to work to please the customer. If there are no customers there's no position for anyone under this organization.

They were the worst bank ever. They are no credit union. I was treated with more respect by Bank of America. How sad is that? Mean, uncaring people just like at my current credit union. Just go to a bank.

I have never read any reviews and typically take them with a grain of salt but the negative reviews are correct in this case. As the ENTIRE world goes through this pandemic, it is obvious that this institution is only concerned with their bottom dollar or as I was told by a manager "they have a business to run". As a customer that has held multiple accounts for years, I have never been treated this poorly. Forum is not compassionate about any potential economic or health circumstances that may arise with you/your family and will continue business as usual. They do not stand by their mission of "Helping Members Live Their Financial Dreams" because they will close an account without notice. If you are someone that understands that life happens, then you need to consider a different institution that is compassionate about your well being and understands . Forum is not that institution.

I am public servant with a top level clearance and have never been late on a payment. It is important to me to maintain the most optimal financial health. I was in a car accident and faced another high risk health situation and was showed no compassion at Forum where all of my other institutions were very understanding and accommodating.
