Fortnum & Mason, do you need to talk? If you go to London, be sure to go buy some tea ~ This is a very good price for money ~ The underpass is worth a look. The sauces are very diverse. It's not cheap, but buying a few I think it will be a good experience :)

You can buy souvenirs such as tea and cookies, there is also a cafe, and I enjoyed it a lot. Besides sweets, tableware, clothes, perfumes are sold, and it's expensive, but it's fun just to think that it's a museum. It is recommended to make a reservation as the cafe is crowded.
A popular place which on occasion has private events which is a let down for visitors hoping to buy some goods. Recommend: Chocolossus, a tried and true chocolate biscuit, which has spawned other, less popular variations. You can get almost everything identifiably English ranging from tea to chocolates and everything in between. Honorable mention: salted caramel biscuits, pistachio biscuits.
Only a brief flying visit to the tea department for tea related gifts. Beautiful tea by the way. Will be returning in December for a visit and afternoon tea.
Had a really bad experience here, the staff there were racist, NOT RECOMMENDED. In comparison, the Sketch got better food and better service, and the Dorchester hotel has got much much better service for a negligible higher cost (like, 2 pounds?) . You don't have to come here! Very bad experience, the staff there were very unfriendly to me and my family, it can be said that they were discriminated! To be honest, the sketch food is delicious and the service is not bad. The Dorchester hotel service is much better and the price is the same. There is no need to come here to eat! I booked a table for my bf, myself, and my parents there at 6:00, and we got there around 5:50. I talked to the reception after we got in and they said we need to wait for our table to be ready . However, we didn't get a table until 6:15, and a white family came 10 mins after us that's also a table of 4 got a table before us. I was talking to my parents in Chinese before that, and after they got in, I talked to my bf in English, "how come they got in before us, is it racist", and the reception looked at me and gave us a table right after. We booked a table for four at 6:00, and we arrived at 5:50. After I told the front desk, they asked us to wait. But we were not taken until 6:15. But the white family with four people beside them obviously went in 10 minutes later than us. While waiting for the position, I have been talking with my parents in Chinese. Later, I felt that it was not good, so I said to my boyfriend in English: "They are obviously racial discrimination!" , Just give us a seat ... After we sat down, we didn't get our menu until 10 mins later, but 1 min after that, the waiter came to us and said: "our kitchen is going to close soon, are you ready to order." Yes, I know i booked a table for 6:00 but we only had the menu for 1 min, is that how you treat your customer? We got the menu about 10 minutes after we sat down, but just one minute after we got the menu, someone came over and said to us: "Our kitchen is going to be closed. Are you all right?" Yes, I ordered at 6 o'clock , But you did n t let us in ... After that, I can't remember exactly which dish, but I asked the waiter: "can you explain to me what is Kedgeree", she looked at me and laughed like I was an idiot: "Oh you don't know what Kedgeree is ?! ". I felt very offended. When we ordered, I asked the waiter: "Can you explain Kedgeree?" The waiter said, "What? Don't you know Kedgeree?", Should everyone know British food? baffling We then ordered three sweet afternoon tea sets and one savoury afternoon tea set, however when the food came, they gave us TWO SWEET sets, we were like: "sorry we have got four sets, three sweets and two savoury", and they were like "oh really, did you get a savory set?" then took out a sweet set and gave us a savory set, and the reason is we can have unlimited top up. Sorry I thought that you are more "higher end" restaurant, it appears quite a cheap way of service given their price. We ordered three sweet afternoon teas and one salty afternoon tea. When it came over, we were given two sweet afternoon teas. We said: "We ordered three sweet and salty ones, so they took one sweet and gave us a salty one. Isn't I going to say it, isn't it high-end afternoon tea? How to make it so cheap
beautiful and characteristic multi-storey shop, with exclusive products; he is said to be the supplier of the royal family with regard to many supplies, including tea
Nice place for a civilised English tea. Nice to see that the quality of the scones has resumed to its best. I wish they were bigger, but two were more than enough. Love the atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly and made us feel really welcome. Oh did I mention the other desserts? Well they are to die for
A retail oasis of calm that internet shopping will never better. Both opulent and understated, this is a place of delightful contradiction. You're under no pressure to buy, but there's so much temptation, you'll need to persuade yourself not to. Despite the grandeur, prices aren't as high as you might imagine. So, go on, lavish yourself.
Huge store with teas from every place imaginable. I saw lots of Japanese tourists which usually is a good sign of quality. It's quite difficult to find staff on the ground floor as they always seem to be busy filling the shelves or serving other customers. There are more teas in the huge caddies if you are looking for something more exotic. Unfortunately they didn't have white teas when I was there. The basement floor sells edible insects too for those who are interested.
One of the best shops in London, It's iconic, historic, high end quality and fantastic decoration. Staff are very helpful. You can just do window shopping and enjoy all the wonderful foods in the food halls. Great selection of teas, foods, china, wines, bascuites, cakes and all quality of foods. The location is great as well which is not far from Piccadilly. There're range of prices but it worth every penny. I would say the busiest time during all the year is Christmas time.
Loved high tea here. We got a classic high tea and one with a meal...Both beautiful. Atmosphere also goes with the brand, a really lovely place to go with a good friend :) they even gave me a little cake piece with a birthday candle and note!
When C.S. Lewis wrote about a confection so delicious that Edmund Pevensie was willing to sell out his family, his soul, and all of Narnia to obtain a second helping, I m pretty sure he was thinking quite specifically of the Pistachio Turkish Delight from London s Fortnum & Mason. I ve tried offerings from other brands which tasted like expired gumdrops, but the Turkish Delight here is delicious, addictive, and makes a great gift for anyone who loves the Chronicles of Narnia (or really for anyone who has tastebuds, even if they re not fans of the books.) If you re in London, it s worth the stop, they also have a wide selection of teas and other giftable drinks and snacks.
Just a super store, just the place to visit for quality and selection of drinks confectionery and their private dining room is sensational. The best store in London
A great shop - just extremely crowded and people get a bit manic inside pushing around. It has so many lovely treats/ homeware etc. I'd recommend avoiding F&M on a weekend!
You can purchase royal purveyors such as black tea and chocolate. There were quite a lot of tourists, but you can buy from affordable ones to expensive ones.
A visit to Fortnum & Mason is always a huge pleasure for the eyes and taste buds! I would just love to taste everything. I always take visiting friends too the wall of jams! There is plenty to enjoy for a gourmet (from delicious savoury food to tea, biscuits, jams of all sorts and chocolates). There is also some beautiful homeware, but let's face it, we really come for fine tea and food!
All the quality and English tradition in a wonderful large place in central London. And don't say it is expensive ... here you find only exceptional things! Don't miss the restaurant ...
Novelty upmarket British store that sells just about everything from sweets, clothing, jewelry, perfumes, alcohol and cutlery. Great store to buy presents.
We were really disappointed with some of the staff s education about the cross-cultural understanding. We have a culture to distribute souvenirs for co-workers, friends and family members in order to show thankfulness. Wrapping up is very important for us when we give presents for them; otherwise, someone might think it s rude. However, the two cashiers who worked there said it s not good for environment as excuses and did not want to give me parasitic bags even though we do not waste bags until it s getting dirty or broken. It might not important for the others to wrap presents when they give for someone who are important for them, but for us it s crucial.
The packaging designs of the products you sell are beautiful. The product packaging here makes you feel impulsive to buy, even if you haven't tried it without knowing what it is.
Even if you know you can't afford many of the offerings this has to be on the list of tourist must-visit places. Especially at Christmas there are huge numbers of interesting foodstuffs to view and purchase, not all out of reach. Needless to say the service is first class.
