Unmissable tea room on Picadilly. High category restaurant. Various teas, jams, marmalades, honeys, cookies and home-made confectionery are on sale on site. Many other food products.
One of the loveliest shopping and afternoon tea experiences! Myself, mother, grandmother and 2 aunts came for afternoon tea on Mother's Day - we expected it to be crowded and squeezed in. We could not be more wrong! The store itself is STUNNING with so much to see...
We expected to wait a while for our table but we were seated within 5 minutes. There was a piano player, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly. There are 3 afternoon tea options available, you get the choice of everything being topped up (but it's deceiving how filling it is!) Everything was beautifully presented and tasted great! Thank you, will definitely visit again soon x
A unique shopping experience in the heart of Piccadilly. The best biscuit gift selection in London. Great food offerings. An amazing people watching place. I love F&M.
Very nice place, abit expensive but its a very classy place so its to be expected. Great selection of tea's
World famous store that caters to the royal family. 5 floors of amazing food, wine and everything thing a household would need, but very expensive. Always worth a visit especially at Christmas.
the usual crowded and expensive very numerous store
We visited Fortnum & Mason to enjoy its high tea. Wonderfully decadent. Expensive but well worth it. Hint skip the meal beforehand. It doesn t look much however they serve you an awful lot of wonderful food. I struggled to simply taste everything. Tea was delicious too.
Very good shop, it is best to make an appointment for dining, because many people
We have an appointment. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. It s just good photos, not delicious. The CP value is really low.
It s also noisy because of the large number of people, and the service quality is not good. The service staff is not free to pay attention to you. They are busy in and out. You must take the time to ask them to serve you.
I personally do n t recommend having afternoon tea
But I must go where to buy, buy, go shopping
Go there every year, always welcoming. Friendly staff good food. Always have a great time.
Fortnum & Mason is one of the most iconic stores in London, the interior and decoration of the building is very beautiful, especially at Christmas time
Fabulous afternoon tea. Particularly liked the idea of a choice of 4 afternoon teas. We weren't hurried one bit! We had a lovely, helpful French waitress too. One of the best afternoon teas I've experienced. Will be going again!!
Fantastic service. Very luxury. Lady could've given me a bag to make my life easy as she saw I had few things in my hand. Had to ask for a bag.
If you want to visit a proper and venerable department store this is the place. A lovely men's section with proper execution such as barber's, socks etc as well as things you didn't know you needed. Also a huge selection of jams, marmalades, macaroons and chocolates on the ground floor. Must visit.
Just left from the shop. After having a great time shopping and having workers help me. The last point of contact with me, the cashier ruined the whole experience. I approach happily and greeting, while she says nothing. After I pay, I still get no thank your or have a good day. Store was relatively quite. Just spend a few hundred pounds. Yet I don t get a thank you for coming in and shopping. Puts me off ever wanting to go back and buy anything. Used to love the whole shop and experience with helpful workers. But the last point of contact and experience in key, and she failed.
Beautiful and unique. So traditional yet modern. Delicious food. Great service.
The ice cream and the lemonade float was totally overpriced. The staff seemed rushed. Not the classy vibe I've experienced here before
Some beautiful stuff, but of course at a price. The building has amazing character and history.
There are so many things to see. As a car enthusiast, if you buy it as a gift (such as a comprehensive set of tea or a type of tea or biscuit), it is the same at an airport duty-free shop, so it is recommended to just buy it at the airport.
In the usual order one, as we see it, very British department store. Has a wide selection, especially of different delicacies. Inside the department store is also a high-class restaurant. We always visit Fortnum & Mason when we are in London.
This is honestly one of the cutest shops and it has everything you could wish for. Tea, biscuits, marmalade, marzipan, chocolate, decoration, porcelain, cards, Christmas calender. I am so happy I can drink this tea at home and even share it with my family and friends. When I come back to London I will definitely come to this store again.
Well why not. Are you not worth this excellent experience.
Beautiful shop that can manage large foot traffic well. Lots of lovely things and very helpful service. A shopping pleasure.
Everything was good apart from the animal abuse part.
If you want to have afternoon tea in London, definitely here
I had a great time.
Usually very crowded by tourists and prices are obviously at London tourists-levels.
Very useful to find gifts though.
Ideal store to buy English tea and cakes. Perfect for bringing back good quality gifts, which always please.
Gave only 4 due how expensive it is. Just a tad less expensive than it would've been 5 stars
But very good service.
Wonderful shop! Even if you don't buy anything, I recommend the visit, to fill your eyes with delicate sweets, fine teas, great attendants and impeccable architecture.
F & M British Royal Tea can only be bought in their shop. The business is very good, there are so many kinds of goods in the whole department store! In addition to various types of tea, there are also various kinds of candy and chocolate snacks, teapot porcelain, picnic supplies, etc ... Good shopping and good looking!
I love this store. It is decorated to perfection. Warm - clean - and tidy. Delicate and exquisite products. Perfect gifts to buy for weddings and to bring back as gifts abroad. It always looks festive and luxurious. 5 floors of beautiful things to buy.
Just an idea of British excellence. Try afternoon tea on the top floor (by reservation) and browse the shelves to leave with a British souvenir of the official supplier of royal dishes.
Nice place to visit for shop bakery items plus fine dining and out class tea options
Amazing experience at the tea lounge of F&M for me its a classic must do when in London
Like the other famous luxury luxury stores in London it is worth visiting and it is impossible not to find something that "absolutely" must have. It is an emotional and fun experience to visit the various floors, breathing in the very London and royal aroma of this "multistore"
Very disappointed in Fortnum & Mason. Placed an order for a Christmas present and paid extra for named day delivery. Order did not show up and it took for me to contact them to be told they had issues at their warehouse and as such the order will not arrive until well after Christmas. Very polite staff handling a difficult situation but apparently no managers or supervisors in to discuss resolution options.
Firstly, paid extra for the named day delivery. Secondly, why did they take the money gladly knowing they would not be able to deliver? Finally, now having to run around on Christmas Eve to try to get a present that would have been perfect. Very poor show.
This is the fourth time they have done this to me and for a company who say they are the best, they fall far short. Perhaps too concerned with their record profits this year as opposed to focusing on taking care of the customers who spend.
Replying to @Mr_Kims_She is a guy who's going to be early, but the guys aren't going to be happy, but the guys aren't good enough, but the guys aren't good enough. ~~ So, somehow, I'm all alone, and I'm all alone. So the staff are friendly :)
Retail Fantasy! This store is beautiful. The displays are amazing. The staff immaculaty dressed. Only popped into buy some tea for a friend and wasn't aware of the brand. But I Am glad got the chance to see and experience this superb level of retail excellence.
Excellent department store, where you can find specialty tea & coffee for every taste. Housed in a beautiful building close to the Ritz Hotel with some amazing old features & furnishings. Definitely a must see place when you are visiting London.
Great place to buy various gifts
Not only tea, but also jam chocolate honey
Better because the package is pretty, but the price is not cheap
This shop is amazing, several floors with all kinds of products and clothes, but their specialty is tea, they have all kinds of tea, and everything that is needed to preserve and serve it. The only negative is that the prices are very very high
Oldest and most beautiful shopping centre in central London
The Parlour Restaurant
Went here for a special treat for my 50th birthday with my family. What a fabulous occasion and one I'll remember for a long time.
We had booked quite a while ago, which seemed like a good idea as it was very busy.
The staff were very professional and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent with a fantastic choice. Decor was truly unusual.
Overall a marvellous experience which I could only highly recommend.
PS I received a lovely piece of carrot cake as a birthday gift from F&M - thank you
Amazing experience. Learned all about tea, food was excellent, and fully catered to food allergies too!!
Excellent store, plenty of luxury goods and great Christmas shop
My favorite shop in London. Historic great food great atmosphere and great service always visit when in the city.
Very beautiful shop, specially for tea, Chocolate and a lot of other things. You have to visit it.
Incredibly friendly staff, and the perfect place for wedding, birthday, Christmas (etc) gifts, with tasty, great quality, elaborately packaged goods. Also, the biscuits in musical birthday tins make for the ideal birthday gift! Surely Londons finest shop.
A London institution ... I go there for their selection of teas
I really like the old school, upmarket atmosphere here. A great place to have a decadent lunch.
a bit rough on communications at the entry, but solid, tasty, well prepared statements from the kitchen.
Great experience as our first afternoon tea in London. So many different types of tea you could have here. Definitely a blast for a tea lover. Scones are amazing! Will come back one day to do some tea shopping:)
What a great shop, if you want to give a friend or family member a hamper this is the place to go, you are met by a doorman then you enter into this great shop, wine's , biscuits ,chutneys ,I may as well say everything, and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite
Always have a good selection of tea.good for a christmas gifts. I love blueberry jam. So delicious!!
Fantastic selection of delicious food and superb gifts. Value for money as it is not super expensive but the quality of stuff there is superb. Explore the hidden delicatessen and wine celar in the G floor, both well recommended. Lovely shop, bonus of seasonally tailored window displays. Great service and knowleable staff. Excellent shop to visit and treat yourself.
I loved breakfast in the old fountain Reaturant but the new 45 Jermyn Street has lost none of the style and I love the opulent orange leather and that fantastic ceiling
A very elegant and exclusive store, very rich tea s
Buy tea for one and tea for your mother.
I heard it's the best gift
I thought service and quality of this order had all but disappeared but I was wrong. Everything was top rate and most enjoyable
It is an emblematic place to go in London. However, with the pandemic, it has proven not being very qualified to keep us safe. Yet, I m giving it a five star
