The English name is Fortnum & Mason. The little beauty had an appointment, but when I arrived at the scene, I found that I failed to make an appointment for afternoon tea on the fourth floor. Palace style, prices are extremely scary

Nice and pleasant. A wide variety of tea and sweets and many other things. Only for the very wealthy. A tea with its accompaniment of muffins and sweets 50 pounds minimum. If you are not invited better take something elsewhere

What more can I say? Fortnum offers consistently excellent service in a beautiful setting. The store is very well laid out with the most luxurious finds. I love the perfumery and it's adjacent candle section. I highly recommend a visit.
Magnificent store where you can enjoy strolling in the middle of the shelves. Without necessarily making a purchase, we spend a pleasant moment, passing from the scents of chocolate to the scent of perfume. To have !

No social distancing, on entry floor, at all on Monday 10th Dec and they were offering tea tasting!! The place was packed with people. I headed for my two pre identified items and told the young man offering me tea that I couldn't wait to leave. I use Fortnums several times a year but shan't return in person for the next 9months. Pubs, restaurants are doing their bit. This was a really big shock in Tier 2 situation. Commercial greed on the part of Fortnums may have something to do with it?
The largest grocery store, apothecary in the world! Tea of all blends, the best whiskeys and gins, biscuits and tea pastries etc in the world! You can also eat and, amazingly, they also have an expert consultation service to check the sample of drinking water of your city and decide with you the types of tea blends best suited to it! Medium-high prices but we are in London, Oxford Street and .... at Fortnum & Mason! The restaurant is on three levels and is beautiful and fragrant!

You can take all the incense so you can easily buy the car you want. There are a lot of teas blended from basic black tea to flowers and fruits. Among them, Fortmason Jasmine Tea is delicious.

The excellent place for having an afternoon tea at here but all visitor should make the reservation before coming. All the thing is fabulous, and you can buy the tea for a souvenir as well.

One of the most refined department stores in the city of London, it has many details in its construction that make it a curious place to contemplate. As for his articles, highlight his cookies section of his own collection, which are presented in some very striking cans. As expected in a store with such luxury, the treatment is sophisticated and the prices are very high.
We spent three hours just looking at the high quality produce and china, and had lunch. Realy nice. Lookin' forward to scoffing the christmas cake.
I don't know what to say about this wonderful place other than it should be an annual stop on everyone's Christmas season shopping list. Too bad it's only in London and not the States because I might live there for the month of December. Love this place.

Well this place has everthything that you need from tea, chocolate and coffee, through to perfumes and fine men s apparel. Worth a visit as the quality of items in this store is superb.

For anyone who is looking for quality tea and a great shopping experience, this is the place. The tea master behind the counter can actually tell me the differences between the 1st flush and 2nd flush of Darjeeling tea. And tell me which part of the leaves (tips or broken leaves or mixed) for each Ceylon tea. And compare to the person in the other famous deptartment store (starts with a H). They couldnt even tell the difference between black teas plus no tasters for any of them. I am amazed by the quality choices and kind services throughout the entire store. Very well done.
A profound selection of premium tea especially darjeeling first flush and other high tier goods. Unfortunately the place is oversaturated with people and tourists. Which removes the British culture from the place. Brexit means Brexit.
Book a day off and visit Fortnum & Mason. Store is filled with moderately expensive treasures. I could spend a fortune in here on things I don't really need but look fantastic. Staff are all lovely, they smile, answer questions and make your experience of the store better.
I would have a positive review about Fortnum and Mason if they listened to their customers. I don't support cruelty and I don't support foie gras so I don't support Fortnum and Mason.

Posh but unpretentious. You can have unlimited refills of pretty much everything. Attentive but unrushed. Worth the pretty high price tag.
An iconic tea store in Piccadilly, overpriced, but we'll worth the visit.
I had lunch at the parlour location and waited for more than 20 minutes to get someone to serve me, the manager included. Everyone was looking at me waiting but my waitress never returned. I felt deliberately ignored. Another waitress had to serve me for the rest of my meal. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never return or recommend this place.
Great experience at the tea counter.I wanted to make some gifts and the staff were very kind and professional, helping me and explaining.I tasted different teas and then I made my decision.The lady in charge at the tea counter was lovely.I will go back there for sure next time I will be in London.
Great service as alway from this lovely store. Asked a member of staff where the ladies were and instead of merely pointing me in the direction, he accompanied me to them. Loved that.

This is the best tea shop and tea tools in the world. It is located at 181 Piccadilly, St. James's, London, W1A 1ER, UK. You can get there by metro, Piccadilly circus station. You can feel the "Royal Traditional in UK". This tea shop is the provider of the royal house. Her tea leaf is amazing. You can feel the "real elegance". And you can enjoy shopping there. Not only do they have tea leaves, yes, I have to keep the secret for your fun. haha

French compatriots if you want to bring back original souvenirs such as tea and coffee food in France then this place is the place to be. The variety, packaging and quality of teas, jams and coffees will make you fall addicted to this place.
Also note that this place offers restaurants and tea rooms that allow you to try some of their products. Beware, however, of the crowds, which can be significant depending on the times.
For the top 1% of the top 1%, this is a nice department store. For the rest of us its an interesting social experiment ;)

Service standard in the women's accessories dept not as high as their prices and appearance. Despite having confirmed by phone yesterday an appointment with their milliner, no-one on the floor knew of it and the milliner was not available. The pre-paid hat was supplied in a very mediochre box and we had to ask and advise on how it should be repackaged to avoid it getting soaked in the rain. Pleasant young assistant, but the training and facilities were clearly poor.

2020: I was here last year and it was wonderful. I have no ideas what happened here during the past months, but it disappointed me on the first day of 2020 when I visited here again with my friends. The food quality is still the same; however, the service got worse. My friend's tea pot was left emptied till we left. No tea trolley. I hope it was just because they were too busy on the new year. I will come here again and hope they will impress me again.
I do like this place. Yes it relies on royal connetaitions and branding to inflate its prices, but the products are premium, and it doesn't seem extortionate. The decor and setting is fantastic. Also, one of the best afternoon tea experiences I've had in London - good blend of premium and down to earth.
What an incredible store. Huge variety of specialty tea, gourmet groceries, chocolates and desserts and a tea shop. The place has been around for over 200 years and the atmosphere is inside is very elegant and regal.
