Yet another wonderful afternoon tea at our favourite Fortnum & Mason. Cannot recommend enough, wonderful food, service and food I mention the food?!
There are not only black tea but also bright chocolate and sweets on the floor, so you can get excited just by entering the shop.
The afternoon at Fortnum and Mason was lovely. Cakes and sandwiches were tasty, the pot of tea was perfect and champagne was crisp and cold. Service was very good, we enjoyed it immensely.

Afternoon tea at Fortnum and Masons, a Christmas treat that excelled my expectations - and they were very high. The setting is luxurious as you would expect. Their attention to detail to help at every turn is exceptional. The piano playing in the background, the quality of the food and drink and the staffs understanding on timing when we needed some guidance was timed to the second. A wonderful afternoon out. I popped in for an Afternoon Tea assuming it would be a proper English experience. Silly me; they re all about making money at this establishment and apparently hardly know anything about the affair.
Firstly, the tea selection on offer is pathetically limited, though one would presume that since Fortnum & Mason sells a wide selection of tea, the same would be mirrored on the menu. Again, silly me and my presumptions!
I opted for the Duo of Scones as my sweet option . Well, there were no spoons provided to scoop out the clotted cream and jam unto my plate and I had to use the single knife provided for both, which naturally contaminated both dishes.
Regrettably, the entire matter was far from a pleasant experience for me and the hunger for commercialization at Fortnum & Mason overtakes tradition!

I've been here a bunch of times and it's always the most satiating and comforting experience. Amazing afternoon tea, lovely cakes, and the shopping always drains my bank account great for gifts or to take home. Go to the meat counter for some amazing quality products at amazing prices!!

Simply decadent! Most stunning displays of everything delicious! Best place to pick up a last minute host gift or a treat for yourself I recently discovered Fortnum and Mason's Fancies! Little cakes covered in fondant in an array of flavors. I purchased the marmalade one and the lavender tea. The week before, I tried the lemon and the cherry. Trust me, they will not disappoint!
Very good brunch and coffee - had crushed avocado and chilli topped with 2 poached eggs.

It is very, very Posh, that is 'The Tea Emporium'. Unlimited scents, teapots, dishes, clothes, trays, blankets, strainers, ...
In the tearoom on the 4th floor, in addition to the exceptional tea service, the huge variety of teas and the scones, sandwiches and great dumplings; porters take pains to ensure that one exceeds the limit of possibilities of the stomach and, if not, takes what remains and some additional portion in a bag.
The shop is amazing and the staff are brilliant. Xx

A trip to Fortnum and Mason before Christmas is a delight.
Walk through the door and staff very friendly and helpful, always on hand to guide you to correct department when struggling to find what you're looking for. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful and unique experience. The food is delicious and the teas are the best I ever had. Our waiter, Jose, couldn't have been any more attentive and generous. He knows a lot about teas and I was very impressed with his knowledge, a true tea sommelier. The experience all round was fabulous and it is 100% worth the money to do this as a special occasion once in a while. Both managers, Frank and Hatis came round our table at least once to check if everything was alright in spite of being a really busy afternoon, the type of 5 star treatment you would expect at Fortnums. The three of us that visited couldn't be more pleased, thank you so much and see you soon.

My favourite shop in all of the UK. The only things I've bought here: a sandwich, a greeting card and biscuits for my Grandmother, and some ornaments. But it is just beautiful. Every year their Christmas windows are stunning. I've also heard they have good milkshakes. Looking forward to bringing my son here when I'm in London again.
What can one really say about Fortnums that hasn't already been said. It is an absolute delight of a shopping experience with the finest quality products. The selection of teas, coffees, biscuits, preserves, marmalades and condiments alone make it worth a trip.
