pretty place with good tea and other assorted goods.
Brilliant shopping experience and the wife loved the hot chocolate
Looked from outside very famous shop. Royalty shop there.
It is a must see during Christmas period. If you are a tea lover, then Fortnum & Mason is a must duting the whole year. They have a really large and fine selection of different teas, cookies, sweets, accessories... During the pre-Covid era they also had a restaurant where you could eat, we hope we go back to normality soon and they can open again. See photos for the 2020 Christmas decorations ;)
I tried the Vegan afternoon tea and it was incredible. Amazing service, the scones are so soft and warm, to die for! You can take the extra food home which is a plus since it s so rich. The vegan cakes were really good too. Definitely a highlight in London
I came to England and experienced a few afternoon tea cultures and loved Darjeeling, so I bought a big one. In addition, I get a gift for each of my acquaintances with 6 different flavors. Never buy anything else. It doesn't suit our taste like candy jelly!
The tea salon not as good as i visited back in 2017 slow service
I thought it was a tea shop, but it's more like a food department store.
You can buy souvenirs as there are many great British items besides tea and food.
It's a souvenir, but I think it's a great staple to have.
Wow! Not cheap but worth the experience. Lots of fun, wonderful food and amazing service.
A lovely and grand place for shopping and having a tea!!! Will try the afternoon tea next time!
One of the best places for afternoon tea. Amazing building and selection of desserts and tea.
A nice shop with a British atmosphere.
There are various products on 2 floors.
There is also a cafe, so if you have the time, please come.
There is a small size can of tea near the cashier. This is an affordable souvenir.
The service was not very good.
All staff looked very busy and the service was very late. it was not very pleasant.
I think I would never go there next time.
Experience to do: being welcomed with gloves and the tuba is priceless. I recommend macarons
Wow so much on offer here. You will spend hours looking at a wide variety of products. Excellent quality
Gorgeous! You can buy gifts for very special people or events ;)
From now on all mince pies will be judged against the ones from Fortnum & Mason, it's unlikely any will ever get close though!!
Absolutely amazing place, loved every floor and spent a fortune
Always come back for an afternoon tea ! Royal service and atmosphere!
What a fantastic afternoon tea we had here! I would highly recommend. The waiter even gave us cake from the cake trolley to take home.
Only way to describe this shop is magnificent and not as expensive as you may think. Christmas is amazing
The afternoon tea here is sublime, the teas are all avaliable in the shop floors and now you can create you own personal blend of tea to suit your tones. Excellent service
Good products, and there's always room ro eat in there. There's also a good reason for this: you can order and wait for one hour without seeing anything served. So, the experience is way overpriced for a lack of service.
I went before Christmas lovely atmosphere and displays
This is a must-see store. It s very elegant and sophisticated. The product quality is simply outstanding.
It was just store. I found the price is same at the Heathrow airport. So, if you don't buy tea pot, you don't have to go here.
This shop is, of course, very posh and rather pricey, but then again, the products are lovely enough to make it worth it. The cafe on the first floor has some top-notch desserts, so I highly recommend that. However the cafe on the 4th floor has a dress code that prohibits most people off the street from experiencing it. Having said that, I picked up some absolutely delicious teas and very much enjoyed perusing the merchandise. Worth a look!
Afternoon tea may look a little pricey but really this is outstanding value for money. I thought it would be a 'once in a life time' but I will definitely go back. It's more like an eat and drink all you can amazing tasty buffet served to your table while the piano man tinkles way. An absolute must, bucket list for everyone with it's really relaxed atmosphere, very welcoming and marvelous service.
Good selection of teas and cakes but the service is appalling! The sandwiches are very basic and taste a bit dry - I wouldn t return here for afternoon tea there are far, far better options in London!
What a pity that Fortnum and Mason biscuits are made with PALM OIL... there is so many other good and healthy ingredients available... Quel dommage que les biscuits contiennent de l'HUILE DE PALME...
Afternoon tea. If you want something different and price isn't an issue, it's a nice afternoon tea. Location is v.nice, service was good as you should expect. The food wasn't anything special although it was ok.
It is difficult to rate something like this as it really is a one off. All in all an enjoyable experience.
Excellent quality of care and very special merchandise.
I am a fan of this place which despite the crowd of tourists remains so English. I love to walk around and look for products to bring back to France. Always a great pleasure.
Tea establishment, wonderful. The excellence of English trade. With a whole world of tea; chocolates; sweet; ...
Unforgettable

A wonderful tea shop. The excellence of English commerce. With a whole world of tea; chocolates; sweets; ...
Unforgettable.
Excellent food and beautiful place, service without comment, high standard of quality
Was surprised with a belated birthday present of afternoon tea here and was pleasantly surprised! Seated in a light and airy room with an abundance of sparkling wine - a very happy girl
Visited with friends lovely experience had a coffee really nice, staff were excellent, shop was a treat got some lovely items.
It is very beautiful, original to see. It is a gourmet store with many products such as chocolates, tea, honey, jams, puddins ... Quite expensive.
Always nice to visit F&M: British history and amazing products.
One of the best stores in London. Buy tea, honey and Hugh parsons fragrances there!
Gets a bit too busy with tourists. Ideal for those items you can't buy elsewhere
It is a magical place for decoration outside and inside. You will find all kinds of products there, be it teas, chocolates, fudges or any other delicacies. On the upper floors there will also be large varieties of perfumes and on the top floor the tea room. Remember to book! This tearoom has lost some of its magic. As a gift if you don't finish your cakes you can take them away.
Over priced relic..its a blast from the past that has had a peeper corn rent for years from NHS needs to be less pertentions
Excellent place to find all kinds of food specialties. Excessive, elegant, refined and definitely worth seeing.
Very nice cans with cookies and musical cans with cookies.
There is a wide selection of teas and the possibility to try some blends.
Courteous and kind staff.
Definitely a gourmet place not to be missed.
Nothing needs to be said, the store is fantastic! Got a lot of help from Ali in customer service on the 5th floor, she helped us sort out a few hampers.
Went for afternoon tea and was so disappointed! On arrival we were kept waiting 15-20 mins despite a number of empty tables which was precedent for the awful service we were about to receive. Not once were we asked if we needed anything unless we sought out a waiter, even when the restaurant started to empty out and we were the handful of remaining tables.
We asked for the bill and asked if we could take away a selection of cakes, the waitress went to take my plate of half-eaten cakes to box up! We declared we wanted fresh cakes and were told this wasnt possible as the kitchen was closed, which no one bothered to tell us about. When we protested and asked to speak to the manager, the waitress eventually came back with new cakes.
Appalling service and attitude. Expected so much better from such an acclaimed establishment. Would never go back and would not recommend to others.
This is an iconic store. You know it's special when you walk through the door from Piccadilly. The vibe is definitely exclusive. I felt out of place until I looked around and saw other normal people. The prices are what you'd expect. The ground floor is mainly tea, chocolate, biscuits and food hampers. Alcohol downstairs. It's definitely a thing to have a cream tea in the ground floor tearoom. You'll have to book though. A must during the holidays. Christmas window displays are the stuff of legend. All yours!
The clothing part is qualitative but not really hip the food part wow. They don't let you in on your shoes or with shorts
Very nice place, overall its ridiculously expensive but it will surprise you as it has does have reasonably priced good quality items too.
It has 5 levels.
Lower Ground which is for Food and Wine.
1st floor is for general items, gifts, accessories.
2nd floor is for Ladies / Accessories.
3rd floor is for Men and it also has a bar.
4th floor said something about Diamond Jubilee but I never went there.
I believe I also saw a note on one of the cash registers that said Tax Free Shopping.
Throughout all the floors you can find other general items too, it's not specific only for one category.
Enjoyed afternoon tea and experienced attentive staff, delicious food and genteel environment.
Well worth going to. So many pretty things! I could have bought a lot more! Lots of gorgeous and unique objects.
Yes very good but unfortunately they lost alot of the charm by modernising it a few years ago and they went too far. We like the the old charm why do so many companies have the need to spoil what is good.
Been here several times for special occasions. I'm gluten intolerant and they never fail to impress!
I was seeking for a good tea for a long time and 2 years ago I discovered this venue.
I have been purchasing tea from them in the past 2 years and it was simply perfect.
If you are a real tea lover this is the place you need to come if u stop by London.
You can buy different variety of tea and also try the real British tea in their bar at the third floor as well as have some food on the fourth.
