A fantastic store. I recommend their food, wine, etc. section
I love this place from to do some select shopping, especially sweets or dishes to (and best of all) have a delicious afternoon tea !! Unbeatable treatment, impeccable experience, they adapt to all needs or food allergies, the only place I have found in my city where they serve it gluten-free and milk-free. Must visit every time i go to london
A quintessentially British experience. F&M are one of the few pillars of the retail scene that maintain a stance of sourcing and packaging original ideas and presenting them beautifully.
Prices are not as outrageous as one might have feared... but it isnt pocket money.
Enjoyed afternoon tea on the top floor. Service was a little slow given that we were told in no uncertain terms that we had a limited time. But ambience was exceptional and food delicious. Gluten free option the best I have experienced.
Shame there isnt a dress code; nobody wants to be starchy but it does add to the experience if punters have made a bit of an effort...
Came on a Saturday afternoon for afternoon tea. Delicious selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches. Tea was exquisite. I was pleased to know we could try different ones throughout the meal. However , terrible check-in process and service More
Love the building and their windows design. Also great tea rooms and wonderful collection of their teas as specialite de la maison.
Amazing store in the center of London, very quality food
If you want to show off how much money you have to your friends and family, look no further than F&M. From the beautiful egregiously priced biscuit tins to the deliciously decadent cheeses and charcuterie, everything is of high quality. Even the vegetables are gorgeous and eye wateringly expensive.
Simply the best for tea in London. Try to visit at Christmas time for a beautiful store display. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional.
Exactly the level of service you would expect from fortnum's!
My favourite place to pick up Christmas food treats. Posh as you like with prices to match. Everyone deserves some loveliness in their lives.
Best afternoon tea experience that I've had. Delicious and first class service.
Amazing experience just wandering round and seeing what's available. Probably need a second mortgage for the weekly shop though...
It was delightful. Very lovely scones and there is a choice of high tea or sandwiches which makes a change for someone who dislikes sandwiches.
Perfect elegant highly rated department store in Piccadilly we can go not only for their Teas
Must-visit Christmas destination. Can't have Christmas without Fortnums!
Just wish they would stop selling foie gras. Tempted to give them no stars because of that.
Always a lovely staff and variety of gifs and products
Amazing displays and products many unfortunately out of my price range
First class in every way! The location, place, interior, products and services! Was my first visit and I it was worth it! Wide selection of goodies for tea and picnics. :) reasonable prices and very nice staff!
Always love coming in here for tea, and especially this visit with the giant heinz ketchup bottle.
I stopped by to give me a souvenir feeling when I came to London, but I was surprised at the variety of items from food to goods.
I bought the target, gold and silver nuts. It seemed like a block of gold and silver stones, and it was very popular. However, what really had an impact was the green plastic bag for souvenirs.
It's a perfect souvenir for girls.
As far as shops go, this ones something special. Even just to look around.
Large and clean store. Their products were great quality. The store was organized and neat. Great place to shop. Their foods are great.
A lot of offer but the quality and variety of brands have declined
It's just an experience. If you have ever watched documentaries about upper class living in Mayfair etc. You are going have a taste of that kind of life and a good time.
Beautifully packed and wrapped assorted goods that please an eye and stomach. I highly recommend checking out the tea room it's a good value for a great memorable experience.
Like the chocolates bought in the store recently.xx
This place is amazing! Lots of wonderful things and people. Four floors for ur shopping also has lifts but not that much formal space for wheelchairs accessible which is the downfall.
Exceptional quality packed with great taste.
It is always a good gift for all occasions
This is the high tea experience of a lifetime. I've never experienced something like this. We got the high tea lunch package with refillable sandwiches, tea and desserts. Cannot compare with anywhere else.
Very busy during Christmas, Heaven for tea enthusiasts.
I like buying souvenirs here. Not to mention the tea, the basement of the department store and the gentleman's corner on the upper floor are interesting.
Historic shop with regards to gastronomy. Fantastic
Jam and honey are not reasonable, and some products have alcohol
Department store famous for its teas and delicatessen, bulk teas at reasonable prices, the rest quite expensive, tea room and restaurant, very English retro atmosphere
Staff behaviour is really poor and staff are generally rude. Also the cashier double charged us by scanning the same item twice and we have only realised after leaving the store. Will probably never visit this store again as it does not worth the experience.
It's ok but it's just an over the top super market.
It is quaint. A step into the past when shopping, walking & chatting to the cashier, & purchasing items - an enjoyable experience.
a discovery, just a little better and more English than Harrods
Fantastic afternoon tea will definitely be going again
Really lovely shop. Shame it was so busy when we visited. Definitely a place to go back to for more exploring
Always love visiting Fortnums, great for gifts, amazing biscuits and their ice cream parlour upstairs is a must!
I love the variety of the food and the service was very good from ( Carolina ) she explained to us every thing
Elegant store located in 19th century building. Variety of teas, confectionery and what not. Products are premium quality and deserve to be a gift on any occasion. Theres also a cafeteria upstairs where you can try their products yourself before buying. The staff is very helpful and pleasant which is quite rare as for London. Highly recommending visiting when taking a tour around London.
Absolutely amazing, fabulous service , fantastic food , well worth visit x
It's good, quite posh but I like that. Sometimes when I get out of my job at the end of the month I like getting into this place and spending all my salary in a biscuits' box. It produces me so much pleasure inside my body indeed. I won't have any money left for the month so, then I go to the shop again and ask them to sleep at their doormat but they deny me such luxurious thing. That is a vivious circle :)
I can't go to London without going to F&M. That's London! So british
One of my favorite places in London. The best for the afternoon tea experience.
Lots of helpful staff to assist shoppers most of the time.
It's ok. Lovely biscuits and teas! Just a bit crowded...
Great place for those looking for what makes London a special place to be.
It is amazing, from the prices at which it is sold here (the quality of pay and here more) to the interiors and the smallest detail. It is worth going to see the contrast between urban markets and the elite. On the top floor there is a lounge where they serve a "tea party" but you have to go by reservation, here the prices are still not valid for all budgets.
Ok too expensive I prefer Waitrose and mark& Spencer
Overrun. No semblance of one way system or social distancing once you are through the door. Staff are great though.
Excellent store for speciality items and afternoon tea
Looked like something out of home alone, cool but we'll expensive
Lovely setting for afternoon tea, but I agree with the previous reviews about the very slow and inattentive service. I wish I had asked them to remove the service charge, especially after seeing how our leftover cakes were thrown into the box together.
One of the most iconic shops in London. Worth visiting also if you don't have anything to buy.
One of my top 5 places in London. Afternoon tea is to die for. Perfect place for gifts. Wide variety of teas and biscuits with good value.
