Amazing iconic London store with some gorgeous, very expensive, stuff and really quite busy - I'm guessing it'll only get worse as we get more festive! Lovely experience - big queues on the ground floor and a member of staff pointed me to the lower ground floor tills so I could pay quicker - great service (as you'd hope at the price you pay!).

Too many people, impossible to circulate properly, queue at the endless cashier. Cashier who does not even bother to listen to you, very expeditious, in the end my gifts were not wrapped separately but everything was put in the same bag .... damage considering the price we pay
Fantastic, went to get an Easter egg for my wife :oh the choice and quality on offer wow ! The service was a throw back to the past but with 21st sensibilities.
The department store is kept in the old style, where you can feel the spirit and mood of old, traditional London! On the top floor, you can hold a traditional tea ceremony, with a beautiful tea service. Polite staff!
A wonderful food hall but far too many people had been let in (on Saturday afternoon) to be able to browse before purchasing. Try to go outside of peak hours and you'll have a lovely time
Very expensive, but amazing! The teas floor, for fans, has an incredible number of varieties. And of excellent quality. The offer of cookies, sweets, jams, honeys from different sources is also very diverse. Another floor with drinks from the most exclusive to the most exotic ... And that's only part. It is all a walk that requires time to travel. An incomparable gourmet experience !!
First you can start to look at the outside of this beautiful building. Their beautiful signage is a spectacle for the eye. When you come in you can see and feel its old atmosphere. You go back to the last century (early 1900's) when the big fashion houses started to pop up in the big cities. The deal is not in comparison to Harrods, when talking size. Much smaller, but all the more cozy. On the 2nd floor there is a cafe with wonderful ice cream. So if you are a nostalgic, this deal is worth a visit.
Because of the extreme cruelty of foie gras I refuse to ever step foot in this restaurant. Sadly they refuse to stop selling it on their menu, despite pleas from 100's of people all over the United Kingdom. These poor creatures are put through horrific and unnecessary torture, being brutally forced fed through their throats until their livers become painfully diseased and enlarged and, in some cases, their organs rupture. Surely we have moved on far enough as a nation to realise that this sort of behaviour is barbaric and unacceptable. Please don't support them by eating here.
A great shop for when your'e going back up north to visit the folks and you want to take some presents that look like you've spent some money in that London. It's particularly good for pots of things (jams, mustards, relishes) and also for exotic teas and coffees.
Very posh iconic London department store. Its showcases are works of art. Something very typical of this store is its picnic baskets. In the basement there is a small supermarket and the wine store. An incredible amount of teas. It is a must go through this store if you come to London.
A nice staff 1st floor told us about this restaurant that we can try all variety of teas and cakes. We decided to give it a try. It was quite an experience to learn England s culture since this is my first time in Uk. All scones and cakes were delicious!! Service was just so so once they know we were first time here. We had to wait a long time to get teas scones refills. My server wasn t really paying much attention to us compare to other English customers. But he did show up at last to led us know this table was reserved by another customers. The downstairs department store was amazing!! Staffs were really nice. I wanna to buy everything from them. Just department store will have 5 stars.
It's a theme park of Imaginary British Upper Class Lifestyle retail for Asian tourists and out-of-town middle classes who think buying this tat will get them closer to the Dowager Countess. (It won't.) Must-see. Have some average ice-cream.
This location is the epitome of traditional afternoon tea in England. Between dozens of selectable teas and incredibly tasty snacks, you can relax in a classy and quiet environment. Despite a proud price, the experience is definitely recommendable. For us an absolute must have in London.
Everyone should manage to go for a high tea at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon though its quite an expensive experience, you will find it worth! Do remember to make reservation in advance as walk in is not allowed~
A wonderful deal! It is very traditional British and even the royal family visits at least once a year. Whether clothing, restaurant, ice cream parlor, tea and biscuit sales and many more. It's not cheap but still affordable and worth the money. Very good quality and very tasty offers. Very nice staff and a more than impressive atmosphere. A good tip to give something to a British family / acquaintance as a "thank you". Since the store is completely carpeted, it is best not to wear dirty shoes. Nobody will say anything, but it is still not very popular.
Fortnum & Mason is one of those places in London with a certain magic and charm - especially around Christmas! We are such avid fans of everything F&M - from their iconic hampers to their products and afternoon tea! They also produce and sell the only champagne brand not from a specific vineyard that we actually like!
If you're lucky enough to visit after Halloween, you'll be greeted by the most festive setting around the shop and a visit to the Christmas floor is a must! We love love love everything F&M! The quality of products are second to none.
Disgusting carpets everywhere, toilets were very dirty and out of paper. Extremly tiny lifts and some posh old brits thought it was ok to cram into it when I was there with my son in a stroller.
Adore F & M Great store to browse around and buy excellent quality products! Never disappointed. I especially love the F&M hampers ( I have 2 F&M hamper baskets ) and delicious strawberry jam. Excellent value. Treat yourself! Traditional shop, friendly , efficient staff
Incredible tea service and the rest of the store is amazing. Everything is beautifully decorated and arranged, nothing is left to chance. You will pay a pretty penny for almost everything, but it's well worth the price for the best.
There is something wonderful about this opulent food and drink shop. The biscuits are blindingly good, the tea is scrumptious and the atmosphere is amazing. Glad to have for out with only a small hole in my wallet!
Heaving with Christmas sports and tourists. Always providing consistent high quality products and matching service. Gluten free scones available on request
World famous for tea but you wouldn't know it with the crowd. Beautiful decor but far too busy for a comfortable experience. Very pricey but fantastic for gifts to friends and family.
The restaurant was beautiful and clean, very elegant. There was live music in the form of a talented pianist playing relaxing music on the grand piano. The reception staff were courteous and professional. The restaurant staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and freshly made with high quality ingredients. For any tea lovers, there was a special tea selection menu to choose from. My only slight negative feedback is that due to the restaurant been really busy, the tension could be felt that the restaurant staff were very stressed and might have forgotten some customers' orders (ex. refill of tea, etc). This was a great experience which I highly recommend everyone to try because the food is exquisite and the staff are really friendly and professional- they make you feel at home, their attention to ensuring you are enjoying your visit and food is great and makes you want to return!
Amazing store. A must see. Great variety of products for sale. Lots to see. Nice place for lunch as well. Not as busy as some of the large London department stores. Friendly staff. Loved it.
A must visit place in London to either enjoy their afternoon tea tradition or try their amazing food specially scones or their selection of tea products or delicious jams.
