Disappointing Experience.
I leased a new 2019 Q7 in July, which I really love the vehicle is fantastic and has wonderful features. But the experience left much to be desired.
First, the car was not properly serviced prior to delivery, as the annual oil change was required after only 3 months. The first service should have been 12 months or 10,000 miles, not 3 months and 4,000 miles. Likewise, I had to refill the windshield wiper reservoir in just 3 months nearly 2 gallons of fluid that clearly was not added before I received the car.
Second, the lease experience was awful. I traded my previous Q7 three months early in order to receive the new vehicle. Audi was to pick-up the final three payments of my original lease, as part of the new lease agreement. Three months after taking delivery of my new car, I received a mail from the bank noting that the lease had matured; that I still owed 3 payments; and that I needed to decide how to terminate the lease (purchase the vehicle or trade for new lease). A significant oversight, which I m still trying to resolve.
I definitely recommend the car, but would go elsewhere to purchase an Audi... I ve never liked purchasing new vehicles this experience only reinforced my attitude.
Update: it is now November, and the issue with my lease remains unresolved. I ve tried contacting Audi Fort Worth numerous times since my original posting, including the General Manager, without success. The customer experience is terrible. I will never use this Audi dealer, for any of my needs, ever again.
