I love this place we usually stay here, once a year, the service, food, room, staff everything is great but I do have a problem with the parking fee, we pay the nightly rate and the resort and. The parking fee went up from 29 dollars to 39 this is extremely expensive.

This place is right on the beach with incredible views. The pool area is great with an extensive updated outdoor bathroom, locker, and shower area. There are nice bathrooms throughout the hotel which speaks volumes. They also have basketball courts, an herb garden, and some of the best banquet food! Plus, the beach offers so much more.

I stayed here back in 2014 but this place was great! I was mainly going on a cruise, but the hotel had a really good poolside and there was direct access to the beach. I even got to see cruise ships leaving the nearby port! Highly recommend.

Hotel grounds were very nice. Away from hustle and bustle of the BLVD. Lunch at Sea Level with nice waterfront view and beach access. Hotel guests walk through the waterview dining may or may not effect the experience. Service was friendly and efficient. Good menu options for seafood fare and non seafood lovers.

This is my second year staying at this resort. My company puts on a very large conference here. This year I decided to come down 3 days early to enjoy the area. I had ask for an ocean view and did not get it. I got an interior room with no balcony or view and the desk staff just blew me off when I ask if there was 1 available. I had already been prepared to pay for the upgrade. And then on top of the already disappointment, my room had black mold all over the ceiling by the hvac system. And yes I'm sure it was mold. This is what my husband does for a living. When I called to ask to be switched rooms, the young lady was very easant but ask that I let an engineer come up and look prior to making a room change. This is not something you can fix. Once I explained to her that my husband's profession was that of dealing with these systems everyday she was quick to assign me to another room. When I went to exchange keys the desk staff was less than pleasant. I am so upset. I work in professional atmosphere and this experience has been subpar by far. Next year I will be looking for somewhere else to stay!

Very nice, recently renovated and well kept resort. Resort fee is annoying, but it at least includes 2 drinks and a non motorized sport. Pool is very large, beds are quite comfortable, renovated rooms are clean (glad they removed the carpet) and will lit. Most rooms have a very nice view as well.

Update: Unfortunately, I need to update my review after using the pool on this trip. I've visited this resort many times in the past, where the pool was a very fun experience. However, you will now hear constant announcements of needing to close umbrellas (usually due to a slight drizzle incoming), and blind policy enforcement. It may have only been the one manager's bad day, but very quickly, the pool cleared out when everyone was told to stop having fun and to just sit there "or get out out of the pool". The rest of the resort and beach areas remained enjoyable.

A very upscale resort with all the amenities you can imagine. Incredible restaurants that offer exquisite cuisine. Probably the most beautiful pool in South Florida. Unparalleled views of the ocean. If you want top of the line service and atmosphere this is the place to visit in South Florida.

Booked a balcony king...got a non functional balcony with plastic covering the windows and double beds. Didn't find out until we checked in late at 11:30. I still love Marriott's but this was disappointing. They did (after some negotiating) give me a credit for 2 nights of a non balcony, but it still was not what we came down for.

Great location but over priced. The beds are way to small and the furniture was outdated and beat up. No vents in the bathroom made it hard to shower and get ready. Most staff was nice and accommdating. Water sports are overpriced as well. Not enough bang for your buck in total!

We just stayed at Marriott for Harbor Beach for our 10 year anniversary, and while we enjoyed our stay, I do not think we will be returning. We thought this hotel had more to offer than other hotels in the area, but they overcharge for EVERYTHING! Not good for anyone on a budget!

Pro s:
Grounds were absolutely beautiful
Exceptional service
Private Beach
Great food and drinks

Cons:
~They were very unaccommodating when we arrived earlier than 4pm. We would have loved a place to change and get in our room an hour or two earlier to get ready for the beach and pool. I feel strongly they should be used to that with flights arriving at different times. They were extremely Unaccomodating when we arrived 90 minutes earlier....never even tried to get us in our room.
-I have never been to a hotel where anything and everything was overpriced.
Some examples:
$35 daily resort fee (not included in the price of your room...weather permits for a lot of these activities...if it s windy or rainy, you re still paying)
$39 parking fee (even with a huge garage underneath....I feel strongly it should be free for guests paying this amount of money to stay here)
Food and drinks were insane.....$14 for a small strawberry daiquiri, nearly $20 for a simple hamburger, $8-9 for a canned beer, nearly $5 for a soda. The only normal prices were at the Starbucks.
And no outside food is permitted.

If you are on vacation on a budget, look around! They will overcharge you for everything! I felt we had to go off grounds for almost everything if we didn t want to overpay.

Beautiful location along Ft. Lauderdale beach, perfect for conferences and meetings. The food in the 3030 restaurant didn't disappoint! The staff were all friendly but they seemed understaffed.

Amazing views, amazing staff, super close to the beach with great food and beverage options. The happy hour at the 2 attached restaurant bars is a great value and the hotel is stellar. Marriott service is spectacular as usual. Absolutely wonderful stay.

This is my favorite hotel but unfortunately at this time it is not at all the same experience. When we checked in the front desk associate was unfriendly and sent us to a uncleaned room. They seem to be under staff and unmotivated. The beach was beautiful and The Sea Level staff was very nice. Food was not great but the staff made up for it.

I arrived at Marriott on August 3 for an Airport Conference with a reservation for 4 days. My duration turned into 3 days because of a malfunctioning air condition in my room. The mechanic arrived promptly once reported and we were on our way out to an event. He assured us that when we returned the air condition would be repaired or another room would be available for us to relocate. When we arrived back to the room around 11pm the air condition had not been repaired and no instructions or coordination for another room was provided. I called the front desk and they said no room was available and there was nothing they could do granted the temperature at night is around 80 degrees. We had a choice to sleep in a sweltering room or move to another hotel which we did at midnight. Although they agreed to not charge for another night, their was no coordination to help us find another hotel which we did on our own. As a Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors member that is not my expectation for a four star hotel.

I attended a wedding reception at the Sea Level restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. My wife and I even said that we should come back for a date night or long weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Terrible experience all around. $35 just to park. Took over an hour after checking in to even get a room, only to find out that the key card system was down and we could not get keys to our room. Everything is stupidly overpriced and the beds have about as much firmness as a prison mattress.

The location, amenities and facility are great. Th...

The location, amenities and facility are great. The resort is in a relatively secluded area of Fort Lauderdale, so it s exclusively just guests at the beach and most people use the pool throughout the day. There are plenty of available seats by the pool and ocean. The rooms are modern, clean and well-appointed.

There are two areas where this hotel needs improvement...

(1) The restaurants stop serving food at 10PM, which is very difficult when you arrive on a late afternoon flight from the Northeast or MidWest (where most visitors seem to be from), as by the time you get to the hotel and get situated you re rushing to get a late dinner. For a hotel this size, if the main bar is open, there should be a small pub fare option available until the bar closes. This is a big resort and this is a big miss from a management perspective.

(2) The quality of the service ranged from bad to great. It was inconsistent. Service at the outside restaurant was generally poor, while service at the inside restaurant was generally great. The negative comments about the front desk staff, generally, appear to be accurate. I had several minor requests (for things to be replenished in our room, notifications, etc.) and they mostly just didn t want to be bothered and rarely followed through to process our request (to housekeeping and/or facilities) or would never get back to us (when I asked if they could tell me when something would be available). This is not typical of my experience at a Marriott. That said, we had a couple great bartenders, one amazing waitress and a very attentive server at the pool.

Very, very nice place to stay. We really enjoyed it. We were there for a conference. The meeting rooms were comfortable as far as temperature, seating and level of sound for the presenters. Rooms were comfortable with adequate space, acceptable bedding and mattresses as well as relatively nice and clean bathrooms. The continental breakfast was good but the buffet at the restaurant was delicious! Lunch and dinner at the restaurant by the pool was absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend it! The Starbucks and other boutique on the way to the meeting room worked out great. BIG BONUS POINTS FOR HAVING THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS ON THE MAIN TVs on Sunday. That was great!!! :-))). The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly, helpful and genuinely pleasant. Thank you all for a wonderful and very enjoyable stay. We really did not want to go home!!
