Showed up a day early, we're treated like Royalty. This place is amazing! All of the staff are very nice, lots to do here. It will be where we always vacation from now on! Shout out to Marriott Rewards Visa for our free trip!

Great friendly, casual to elegant resort! Fantastic beach that attendants will set up umbrellas for you. (They need to clean the chairs from sand once in awhile) The pool is gorgeous and heated, very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Rooms are nice sized and modern, most importantly clean! There's a few dining options from mid priced to well, gourmet. Expect high prices, but there are plenty of dining options close by to fit any budget! Really enjoyed our stay but regrettably didn't get a chance to try the spa. Maybe next time! Great family resort but big enough to be a romantic getaway as well!

Very noisy, early in the morning right outside our room. Not construction, seemed to be just moving stuff from one place to another. Great location good room, but our stay was ruined.
Enjoyable but the staff and services seemed to be overwhelmed by the number of guests. My wife has Elite status and was not given any of her usual perks, such as an early check in. The towels at the pool were low/out in the morning. The pool was full from 8 am onwards, people were sitting on the pool deck on their towels. Trying to empty our rental car, the bellhops would walk away with the cart before we were ready, despite saying "I'm not done yet" multiple times.

Came to visit family staying at the hotel and went to dinner at an on-site restaurant. The hotel was busy but in a good way, people enjoying themselves. The restaurant was great, right on the water. The waitress was very helpful and the food came out quick and was delicious.
Gorgeous and majestic. Was a guest at a wedding and was blown away by the staff and establishment.
Was a 4-4.5 star. Now probably a 3.5 considering the price. At $300-$400 per night I d expect not to find out on my stay that they ve started charging $40 per kid to use the play room that has always been included. I will be looking for other properties my next stay in the area. For those that don t care the pool is great, the roomsand food are average. If you ve never been to the area, you still have to deal with the seaweed infested beaches/water like all of Fort Lauderdale.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it consistently exceeds expectations. The staff is attentive, rooms are clean and spacious and the spa is top notch, not to mention the great location - right on the beach. The pool is terrific - large with lots of comfortable seating. I'm writing this review mostly as a response to a previous reviewer who had a lot of complaints, including the size of the bed and some construction noise. If I read her review correctly, the hotel staff upgraded her room, gave her a free bottle of wine, AND refunded the resort fee (which she incorrectly states is an unusual charge for a resort property, when in fact it's actually pretty standard practice) - and she was still unhappy. It sounds to me like this is the type of guest who is going to be unhappy no matter what the situation. If you are considering staying at this hotel, I would advise ignoring that particular review!

Location is perfect for wonderful beach access. Morning yoga was great and wished I was available for other activities.

Beautiful location. Great service. The towels are atrocious. Thin, stained, & torn. There was a broken cabinet in my room that kept opening, getting in the way whenever you walked by the bed
Never better choice than staying at a Marriott and if it is the one in Fort Lauderdale, you do not want to go there. I love the Marriott chain !!!
Ate at the 3030, the food was excellent. The service was exceptional, and the view was amazing. A bit pricey but still worth it. I would certainly go again.

Not a good value
It is 2019. A hotel should not have Wi-Fi issues. Wi-Fi should be free and easily accessible to all guests without having to jump through hoops to sign in to an under-performing "Bonvoy" account. Don't bring your Chromecast, it will not connect to your room's TV despite your best efforts to physically plug it in (not an easy task since the TV is mounted extremely close to the wall, and does not swivel).
Our room's balcony was inaccessible because of paint work being done. We requested a different room, and were up-charged. I asked if we could have the up-charge refunded to mitigate the lack of access in the original room. The staff did not accommodate us on that request for reasons they couldn't explain.
I also don't understand why the rooms were not better sound-proofed. Why should a guest be disturbed by ice machines, talkative staff, and loud guests in the hallway? Again, 2019.
I wish there had been a separate pool for children. There were no staff present to curb obnoxious kids yelling and jumping into the deep end of the pool.
In person, we requested our itemized check-out folio to be emailed to us. It didn't happen. Apparently this is a major request, and again, the useless "Bonvoy" account is not providing the folio either (customer service chat is a total waste of time).

I recently went to a scholarship even and it was great. The waiters walked around consistently and made sure everyone was okay and cups stayed filled. I had chicken and mash as my entree and it was delicious and presented great. But the mash potatoes were too sweet for me but still edible

I have gone to brunch at Riva for the past few years and I am sad to say, this time, we noticed a decrease in the quality of the food. So much so, that we will be going elsewhere for brunch moving forward.

Love! Love! Love! This place was great! From the moment you get there the staff was very friendly and welcoming! The hotel grounds are beautifully kept! It is right on the beach so you have gorgeous views if you get a beach view/ocean view room. The pool area is beautiful! The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are gorgeous! I had an amazing time and will definitely look into coming here again if I am ever in the area!
My experience was ok, it's not something I would have expected from Marriott. Bed are not so comfortable. If you have AT&T wireless service then they have poor coverage inside this hotel. Once you get outside of this hotel the coverage is good but just this hotel which is weird.

Could be great but right now THE POOL is CLOSED!! When the pool was closed, Martha gave us a VIP pass for the SPA pool. GREAT service for the entire stay!!
Worse experience in my life! Incompetence service, they don t know how to find your room number. I forgot 3 sports items and was impossible to figure out what happen with them. So frustrating
