It s a classy Heritage fort transformed into Hotel. It s worth a visit. Lovely scenic ambience. If u r a photo freak like me than U can just keep clicking on every book & corner. Beautiful museum is located in the fort & an old Ganesh temple too which shud not be missed. They also hv karaoke sometimes before dinner time. The food was awesome. Loved the place for its richness & felt so Royal staying in the rainshower room which had an open roof shower. A must visit.

I went here on a Sunday with family, and decided on the Brunch pkg. The buffet was a major turn off and the food wasn't at all worth the money that I paid. Overall ambience was good and it's a very well maintained property.

If you're looking for a place for a weekend or to spend some quality time with family or friends or with loved ones and you don't want to travel that much then Fort Jadhavgadh is the best option as per me.

Located just outside the hadapsar the Fort jadhavgadh is a true replica of a fort which gives you that old vintage feel of living in a actual fort.

About the accommodation - The rooms are clean and hygenic and trust me you won't get such clean rooms anywhere else. The rooms are very spacious and room cleaning is done very particularly without reminding them. The rooms here has everything you need from the toiletries to personal use stuff and they'll change it pretty frequently so that's a good point. Never seen this anywhere else in my experience. You'll get the better idea through the pictures.

Food -

Chhajja - A casual dining experience at its best. They mainly serve American , North Indian and continental cuisine. We've tried the North Indian and continental dishes and the food here is pretty good. Just you have to check the availability of the dishes before ordering because that's the only issue we faced.

Paytha - Paytha is a buffet place which is something you'll love it. Peaceful environment with live music shows and lots of love counters to make your experience worth while. The food here is good but it needs bit improvement in the taste section. The varieties in buffet are more than enough but the mains section kind of goes behind in the taste section .

The breakfast spread was the best thing that we had here. Filled with each everything from English breakfast to south Indian spread we tried almost all dishes. Food was upto the mark and our start of Sunday was on a positive note.

The Audio tour , Swimming pool , and other activities at fort are worth doing. As I said it's a perfect destination for weekend.

Overall verdict - it was indeed a pleasant stay for us and we enjoyed our time at Fort Jadhavgadh. Service can be delayed on Sundays but it's manageable. Do visit and enjoy your weekend like a Maharaja.

It is unique place, worth visiting once. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms were good however, it can be maintained and furnished better. Food is definitely costly and has limited options. As mentioned by many other people, this place is not for elderly and physically Disabled people.

Well maintained and it s good to see that the way this place is converted in to a resort keeping the historic things ....a little bit costly, the approach road, though 1 KM only should have been better. I took Sunday Brunch, costs Rs1299 PP, good was overall good quality, hygiene was very well maintained, like the live instrumental show..and the Bird Man good weekend gateway apart from cost.

A place with little history, quite spacious with comfortable rooms to stay. Have wooden, Tent type and the usual concrete type rooms to stay. Large property and needs quite a walk to go from one place to other within. People with leg pains or any other will find it very difficult to walk through. Swimming pool is neatly maintained, Buffet style banquet is good with a decent spread and tastes delicious. We had a group outing where we had our own bar arranged for the evening. Cocktails were wonderfully served by the team. We took the tent rooms and the wooden ones. Tent rooms are really spacious and nicely done. Located deep inside the property and gives you much needed privacy. Overall worth it.

Cons:

Cons:
- Bumpy ride to get to the fort. The road should be developed and having some signs/directions along the way will help.
- The food at the restaurant is below average. Rather poor. Being a maharashtrian I know what authentic Marathi food tastes like. None of the maharashtrian dishes on the menu were authentic. Coming to the non maharashtrian food fare, even these dishes weren t great. If you are boosting of a 5-star hotel, you need yo provide that sort of quality and taste. The buffet had limited options..lacked tandoor items or starters. The chicken gravy was watery..more like a soup. If you price like a 5-star, the spread too needs to be like one. Worst part, saw flies hovering around desserts. The ice cream was powdery in taste and basundi was water like consistency. Extremely disappointed with the food!!
- We stayed in one of the tents. The room service is extremely slow or pretty much non existent. We have to haul our own luggage, after having waited on the service for 20 mins.

Pros: The property is the only thing that works for this place. The fort is well maintained and the surrounding area is beautiful. Lot of space around the property to walk around.

Place is nice to visit with family and friends. Internal road must get constructed. Management is charging 500 each for fort audio tour, in my opinion this should be optional if any one wants audio tour than charge accordingly, otherwise ticket should be minimal. The fort is well maintained, rooms are nice but need some changes in washroom.

Recommended for people who are looking for company outing to an historical venue sort of place. Very close to Pune can be reached in less than an hour. You will get good food. A bit expensive place than its offerings. One time visit always preferable during evening time.

We had a pleasant stay at jadhavghad orchid hotel. It's a good property and has a perfect ambience that gives us a feel of our heritage and culture. The hotel has many activities and great hospitality. Special thanks to Deepak Suthar and Poonam Magar for making our stay a memorable one.

Pathetic service.

Pathetic service.

Took 1 hour just to receive the room keys despite online reservation!

We had booked a spa-cation and were told that spa is fully blocked and not available (not available for someone who has pre booked 1 month before!).

For lunch, we went to Chhajja where we were told to wait outside till the table is clean. 20 minutes after, we were still waiting outside the restaurant. We then asked why is it taking so much time and then within 2 minutes we were seated. Even after that, table had food stains!

No complimentary welcome drink was provided.

Decoration charges which were prepaid were asked to be paid again.

Staff was unapologetic and refused to attend to our complaints.

Finally, we decided not to check in, foot the lunch bill and return to Pune.

Frustrating experience for a star hotel. Please avoid, much better options available for the price that they are demanding for this pathetic service.

A lovely fort converted into a 5 star hotel. Food is okay but the ambience and the overall day package is worth it. Breakfast, Buffet Lunch, activities like archery, rifle shooting, pottery, painting, etc. audio tour and high tea are part of the day package. The welcome is the USP of this place. The audio tour included in the package which takes you through the entire fort along with Aai Museum is good. Segway is an optional activity and you have to pay necessary charges. Food is a good buffet spread but taste was ok. Definitely worth a day package.

Wonderful environment. Great people managing the whole affair. However... the buffet food is very average as usual almost tasteless. This is the think... everywhere the buffet food is bad... be it Westin or Novotel... the only exception being Conrad Pune. Only at Conrad I found buffet food good.

Excellent property. Had visited for corporate outing. The staff is very courteous and cooperative. Premises are well maintained and is a good team outing option. They have couple of activities plus the audio tour is really well organised one. Their chefs too live up to your expectations. All in all a day well spent. Special thanks to Rounik for making good arrangements.

A great Heritage hotel to spend relaxing & doing activities with your family. A great place to celebrate your special occasions. The roof pool is just awesome & so is the food available in the reastaurant. The hotel conducts certain activities like trekking in the small hill nearby, sports like badminton, football, volleyball, archery, Audio tour of the property etc. The stay @ the heritage rooms is just great with it's lovely interiors & also the tent stay provided is an experience not to be missed.

Once upon a time there was a king! This place will make you feel like that. Nice property, very courteous staff, very good food. I stayed at the Maharaja - Maharani rooms, oh! for a while was relegated to that era itself. Even if someone is staying in those rooms should visit them. The museum is very well maintained and the audio tour is quite nice. I went on a week day with my family and I am sure weekends would be more fun.

Historical palace of great maratha emperors which is restored and made into hotel. You can either stay here in the beautiful tents or rooms. PS: tents are beautiful, near mountains and cheaper ;) they have palace, pool, hill to trekk, activities like zip line etc. The food here is quite costly as per the food quality. Other than that the hospitality and the service is good and warm. You can either take a room to stay or have a one day visit with 500 cover charges.
