Good place to spend a Weekend.... Nice Welcome, Attentive Staff... Not recommended for Senior Citizens as too much of steps. Worth a visit once...
Very well maintained heritage place , nice ambience and place for good family time.
Pathetic activities..not managed properly at all, no gifts nothing aftr u win in activities (all activities are chargeable) plz dont come here with expectations of activities.
Staff is good.
Food is good; live music with food was also good.. we took buffet. (Come only if u wanna enjoy food)
Ambience is good over all.
Spa is pathetic ( just waste of money)
Pool is good as its at room temperature.
Rooms were good ( we took open to sky rain shower room)
Showers in room were too bad; it was like very old shower..some holes were throwing water some not.. suddenly u Will get super hot watet nd suddenly icy cold..
Best location for family picnic , and destination wedding... Near by jejuri temple
Jadhav gadh is a fort hotel. It is on saswad rd . At the entrance there is guard dressed in historical style who welcomes u wid the "pipani". Quality food to eat. Museum and ganesh temple to visit. Surrounded by hills. Swimming pool is gr8. One can spend quality time at weekend. Charges for room are expensive. Best season to visit in monsoon. Staff is helpfull. If u are bored wid the 4star or 5star hotels then this is perfect place for u.
It was amazing....Full day Trip..it's Nice Food veg non veg both options available...
Good property ..but nothing to do...So if you are in good numbers then it's fine orelse you 'll get bored...great hospitality though! Great Jain food too
Great place to visit! Do take the audio tour. We found it very informative.
Truely a royal experience.. Must visit.. Heavy on pocket but worth the stay
Wonderful getaway for family and friends. Great service and excellent property.
Fort Jadhavgadh is a heritage hotel with surreal surroundings. The hotel hosts a museum which has collection of everyday things from the 17th century. The hotel is well maintained, hospitable staff and few activities for kids and adults. If someone is planning to visit, make sure to check out the offers on their website which includes few activities such as spa, guide tour, access to swimming pool etc. It is a good place to visit with family and kids.
Awesome place for a weekend and enjoy the nature and food and hospitality.
Nice spacious rooms! Authentic small Fort hotel but food is extremely bad! Hotel seems to be overpriced compared to the food served here.
Nice place for weekend outings with multiple options of food and a royal stay in fort. Also has facility for camping on hilltop which comes under Jadhavgadh premises.
It has very good tasty food with lots of Varieties.
It has multi cuisine restaurant and the quality is best.
Cost is little high compared to restaurants in Pune.
Also the museum created by sir Vithal Kamat is very well maintained and has nice things to watch.
The whole fort is awesome to see, equipped with swimming pool and very nice ambiance.
Good experience as far as the property is concerned. I had heard a lot about it's food but dont know what the fuss is all about. The staff and management however needs to change their attitude to extract every penny out if your pocket. They have no network connection so they charge for wifi, per person. There is no connectivity in terms of hired cabs so they charge heavily for their own. Amenities and side services like water bottles, tea/ coffee replenishments, iron for clothes, etc are chargeable too.
So, if you need to go there and experience bliss and these little things don't bother you, it's a place for you.
This is coming from a person who is living half of the month in hotels around the country, ranging from stand alones to chain hotels of all star ratings. Hope this was helpful.
Love and Power. :)
Dp you wish you some fresh air.. True nature explosure then its the right options to choose to experience with families friends lot of activities and pure maratha culture and lovely cousins
We enjoyed our stay. The stay was very nice & comfortable..
Breakfast service is also great..
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Awesome place to visit...good heritage structures...clean rooms...must visit is maharaja and maharani suits...excellent service.
So close to the city (30-45 mins), yet makes you feel you taking a long drive. Great historical place with such kind hospitality. A must visit with family and friends.
Nice place if your planning for couple of days stay. Good environment, ambience are good. Foods and services are also good. Must visit place.
A place to visit once with family and friends feels like in heaven
Nice location but slightly overpriced because audio tour is not that much interesting
The place has a terrible approach road..you drive through rocky kaccha road.
The climbing staircase to reach lobby very ungainly. Dead place post 6pm. Nothing to do no life in and around. Not happening
Staff ill equipped in hospitality basics.
Food is good.
Good nature one can enjoy.Nice food and bar.Expensive.
Fort Jadhavgarh Hotel is group of Orchid Hotel (Vithal Kamat). The fort was constructed in year 1707 by Subhedar Pilajirao Jadhav. This is converted to hotel by Orchid Hotel. It is spread over the area of 17 acres.
The fort gives glimpse of old days. It has fortified gate, inside staircases to mislead enemies, watch tower etc. It also has a museum where personal collection by Vithal Kamat are displayed. The museum is really good.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained, a hallmark of Orchid group of hotels. There are tents and wooden mini bungalows available for stay. It has plenty of parking place.
Food quality is very good and had substantial spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner is available at restaurant Paytha. Ala carte menu is available at restaurant called Chhajja.
The fort area has gardens, Ganesh temple, lawn, playing area (cricket, badminton, lagori etc.). It also has a small pond surrounded by greenery.
It also has organic plantation where we saw plants of spinach, chilli, drum sticks, guava, fenugreek, almond, Neem etc. There is a plant nursery where you can buy plants as you wish.
The staff is dressed in typical old Maratha style and is well trained. Guests are welcome by giving welcome drink, Kumkum Tilak and playing Tutari, a Maratha style music instrument.
The hotel is about 28 kms from Pune Railway station and outside city limits. One needs to have own transportation to reach there.
Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed every moment of it. Worth visiting this hotel again.
Place is amazing and descently maintained.. But staff wasn't cooperative the day we were there..
Personally, didn't receive good service!
Very very expensive, and atleast when you pay so much you need to feel that it's worth the expenses, but this one ain't worth the money you spend..
Chajja restaurant @Jadhavgadh fort serves really good food with nice ambience. Must try!!!
A very good place to visit. its an adaptive reuse of a fort premises into a 3 star hotel/resort. located in Saswad. its located inside nearly 1.2km from the highway. A very well maintained place, expensive though.....has 2-3 categories of accommodation ranging from tents to suits. Nicely landscaped area with flora and fauna integrating the fort stone walls with heritage looks and thus a nice ambiance. you can feel a fresh pollution free air making your mood at your comfort. Food is very good. service is excellent. The place is expensive to stay but i feel one should visit it once in a while. A short one day trip also can be made from nearby cities like Pune. The place offers family events like wedding receptions as well as corporate events. Overall impression- A must visit place.
It a great place to have a royal treatment. Spending night inside a fort gives a immense pleasure.
Good day spot, not too overwhelming..good break easy outdoors
A very Good and away Resort for DESTINATION WEDDINGS . slightly hot in summer days. would recommend for a relaxation weekend
Tradtional structure, beautiful ambience, good quality food and service..
I had very high regards fir this place, being such an amazingly restored heritage monument converted into a heritage hotel. I had taken about 12 foreign guests here for lunch.
The service was horrible and so slow that the client actually asked me if they could go get a spa till the main course arrives.
The restaurant"chajja" smelt only of phenyl.
We had specifically mentioned that they cannot eat spicy food at all. Inspite of that the food served was so spicy that even we 3 locals (Indians) who accompanied them could not eat it. The nonveg platter , veg biryani, mutton biryani all very spicy. The naan that was served dint even look palatable. The only thing that didn't go wrong was the wine and the dessert (gulab jamun & gajar halwa) may be coz there was not much scope to go wrong anywhere.
The museum is extremely good and we were guided very well by the curator there.
So the next time I will definitely take my foreign guests there (coz we don't have any other similar option to showcase a heritage wada), but definitely wouldn't have food there.
The perfect place for a relaxed holiday! Great food, super clean and gorgeous rooms and amenities. Heritage vibes helps you unwind and enjoy a great vacay away from Mumbai or Pune. On ground activities like archery, the beautiful Kund and the Spa, or just a leisurely stroll on the lush green lawns will transport you to history. There is a beautiful temple on the grounds too! Reasonably priced that offers you a complete taste of luxury! Must recommend!
It's the perfect place to bring the family for a weekend. Beautiful gardens 250 year old Maratha actexture. The rooms are to die for.. food also was very good. Must visit.
Amazing Rooms, serene views, and nostalgic environment, excellent service, perfect for group getaways.
Awesome place to stay and relax. Unwind yourself at JadhavGADH. I have tasted the most delicious Marathi cuisines over here. Very friendly staff. Must go. Not too far from pune.
It's a very nice place with strong historical insight. Everything is nice except wifi could be improved. Filtered coffee must try.
Good place but don't opt for Orchid Gold membership. They make you fool n don't tell you all the rules before taking the membership
Great place to unwind and relax with your loved ones
This hotel is a unique place built on the Maratha Molla. It takes one hour from Hadapsar. The rooftop rails can also be experienced here. Very beautiful place is there. Visit to meet .. There are many beautiful things for tourism near here.
Splendid place. It's a boutique fort, but entirely converted to a hotel. The maharaja suite is at the very top of the hotel. The garden area is quite vast. One can play any outdoor game there. Also, there is variety of flora in the garden. Food is good, but would rate 4/5 for variety. Staff is helpful.
One important thing for visitors. This is a fort, not a palace. So, please remember that there are no elevators here. And climbing up to the maharaja suite can be quite daunting from even the restaurants at lower levels. And the staircase entering into the maharaja suite is very narrow and the doors are also of very low height, as these were done for the raje's protection.
Had our company annual day here. Excellent property. Great suites and tents, very royal. Food was great too. Little expensive though but worth it for the royal experience.
A beautiful place. Wonderful welcome. Very peaceful.
Excellent place to visit if you have children between 8 to 12. It's a place of historic maratha significance. There are also a lot of in-house activities held by the resort. The food is quite expensive, so it is better to venture outside for food with lots of options for misal/pithla bhakri and gaavthi(local village) chicken and mutton within 6 to 7 kms.
Very good place for a stay and to enjoy with family
This place was suggested by a friend long back. But destiny had it that we visit it now. We went in the month of December when the weather around Pune is pretty good.
The combination of good climatic condition + weekday checkin + excellent hospitality made my trip worth mentioning here. I so wish to make it again in rainy season too.
To start with it is one of the finest place to stay (especially in Maharashtra) added is the fact that it has historical importance and to top it they have managed to preserve it.
The rooms are pretty good. (we wanted the Maharaja/ Maharani suite, but some lucky family had already booked it)
Hospitality is excellent.
The activities were well arranged by the Jadhavgadh team.
Although the food was good, the only thing I missed was authentic Maharashtrian food which I expected to be a part of this tour since I was staying at a Maratha built fort.
All in all we enjoyed the stay.
Not good...... No service avaliable for cab drivers
One of the best destination wedding spot inside the fort jadhavgadh..
Very well maintained garden and rooms..
