Took my first class on here. EXTREMELY EASY. I love it its way more put together than my county online learning. Never switching to a different platform. Teachers always respond in a orderly manner.

I wanted to take the time out to provide you feedback on Ms. Swanson. My son took French 1 this summer as part of his goal to register for dual enrollment this August. My side of the family is from Haiti and he has always had a fascination with French. Needless to say the class was harder than he imagined but Ms. Swanson made it easier for him by her consistency and responsiveness. My son looked forward to his DBA s where he could try out his newly acquired skill. Her patience in helping him to understand his errors and how to correct them was great. The best part was that she was timely with the grading and the feedback so that we were well informed and on top of his work. We are now signing up for French 2 and we hope that he gets the same teacher.

I want to personally take the time to commend an outstanding teacher. Mr. Ray was my daughters 9th grade FLVS Physical Science teacher.

Mr. Ray from the beginning was understanding, patient, and dedicated to his students success. He is caring, firm, and goes the extra mile.

Mr. Ray is a tough teacher expecting quality performance and demanding the best from his students. If my daughter ever had questions or needed extra review on any assignment, he was always available to her. He would not just give an answer, but first point her in the direction to find it on her own, and then discuss further if needed. He meets all expectations as a teacher from a parent s perspective.

He doesn t settle for mediocre performance which possessed my daughter to strive harder and stretch and challenge her abilities.

I couldn t say enough about Mr. Ray and his professionalism as a teacher.

My daughter will always remember Mr. Ray. She was not only taught Physical Science by Mr. Ray, but also some valuable lessons in character building that will stay with her for her lifetime.

Thank you Mr. Ray you are appreciated and exemplary!

This is my second year doing math through FLVS. I am very pleased but have had a few problems. My teacher only has live lessons in the middle of the day! Since I go to regular school also I can not attend these lessons, due to me being in class.

I wish I was able to go to public school and have fun with friends rather then having no friends and sitting by myself all day doing school. If you want your kids to grow up let them go to public school and make friends. All this school does is make me wanna drop out. It is the most boring thing ever and I do not recommend this school for anybody.

FLVS is quite a good website to learn on. My teacher is always trying to help, my course is easy to understand, and I have many classmates to do collaborations with. The only reason I rated this 3 stars is because I can't do live lessons without downloading a java program, and my assistant teacher makes mistakes with my grading.

Our family has been with FLVSFT since my children first started school (2012) and we love it. The curriculum is smooth yet challenging. My children completed their FSA Testing at the headquarters building in Orlando and the staff there was very accommodating and sweet! Can t wait to go back again!

Florida Virtual School (FLVS), allows students to explore what they are capable of, by allowing them to experience and explore different kinds of learning. With FLVS I have received over 200 hours of volunteer service. I volunteer my time to teachers and students that need help with certain subjects such as math to helping with grammar. I have taken over 10 courses with Florida Virtual School, and I would not change any of the experiences. Each course has allowed me to explore my talents and enrich my learning skills. To me learning is not just about school, it is also about the atmosphere of FLVS. The joy it brings me to log on to my course and see that my teacher wants an update. The FLVS teachers are the nicest people ever! They actually care about each student. Every student is not just another number, they think of the student as a person or even a friend. The teachers are flexible, caring and go the extra mile for each student. Furthermore, I would not change anything about FLVS, because I just love everything about it!

My daughter is in Jackson Heights Middle School. She was taking the Physical fitness class with Mrs. West.

Please let me start with the previous experience that I had with virtual school. Last year my daughter took her math class through this program and my daughter and I had the most horrible experience. I was very hesitant about her taking another course this way.

We started by speaking to Mrs. West and I explained our trouble. Mrs. West explained the entire way her class worked and told me she would keep in touch with us. This teacher took her time to explain the lesson when my daughter had questions, and she also kept me posted on all progress. I was so comfortable with her and her caring attitude. She let us know how to reach her and she answered back when Justina needed her help.

Mrs. West is a really great and caring teacher. This is a bitter/sweet ending for me. It is so hard to find such a great teacher and so hard to know that she cannot teach my daughter more. You have a really great and caring teacher in Mrs. West. I wish we can have more like her in our school system

Thank you for providing our daughter with such a great lady. I am very thankful for all her help

My daughter is taking Spanish I on FLVS and the teacher is Sra Seda.
She is enjoying the class very much and learning a lot. Thanks to Sra Seda. She is a wonderful teacher and an excellent motivator. The overall experience of FLVS has been wonderful and for the hard working students this is a great path to work on their own phase and be responsible. It is important for the student to put in the effort and the class materials are awesome. Keep up the great work FLVS staff and faculty. Thank you.

I absolutely hate FLVS. I've been tonight since 5th grade and I am now in 11th grade. I will admit, I enjoyed every teacher up until now. The teacher I have for French 2 is very knit-picky with every assignment I turn in. She'd give me one point or a point in a half off because this was wrong however this something didn't learn in the module how to correct. Not to mention she was a new teacher. My module one DBA was her first DBA ever. I then considered being removed from her class a month later but after talking to a friend, he said she is just challenging you. I stayed in the class for three months more and I couldn't take it anymore. Every assignment something was wrong. And of course I went back to correct every assignment but even after I took the corrections she gave me, points still got taken off. Therefore I called FLVS and asked to be taken out of this teacher's class after the first segment and be put into the previous French teacher I had, for segment two. The person on the phine said she will put it in the system and the princuple will get back to me. Few days later, I got an email saying you are to stay in French 2 with this teacher for segment one and two. I wasn't told why I can't be put into another teacher's class, it felt like more of a demand to stay in the class. I hope in the future, FLVS gets better. I'm hoping after this course to never take an FLVS course ever again.

Online HOPE is the most repetitive, tedious, annoying course I have ever taken in my life. This course is the exact opposite of anything you would learn in school P.E, and isn't this course supposed to replace that? It's basically false advertising because your learning only what a personal trainer would know. The wellness plans are garbage, half the time the words are misspelled, and they're about seven pages long with hours worth of annoying questions which wont even help you the slightest in life. My teacher was up my ass almost everyday if I made a punctuation error and would make me re-submit the whole wellness plan and if I even tried to do an assignment that was after the wellness plan before I was done i would get a text nearly seconds after i submit it saying "don't do that". Overall this was a very, very, very bad course to take and wouldn't recommend it unless if you want crippling depression because working at your own pace isn't an option. (Respect that i want to stay completely anonymous and ask that you don't go through all the hard work to find my teacher and contact her)

I came to florida virtual school thinking it would be way better than public school because at the time i was being bullied and needed more help from teachers but the teachers at flvs will NOT help you at all!!!!It makes school really stressfull and I have anxiety flvs makes it where you fail every class and have to google all the questions because you never learned them

Im not going to give this a one because theres teachers there that are good ,but the only thing teachers do is remind you to summit an assament or they will kick you out . what happen to work in our own paste ...... anyway there should be exams instead of pointless projects that take 5- 8 hours .......... have been in flvs about two years and i havent learn . thats becuase you dont have a teacher you have to teach yourself ...... sure they will tell you to call but its really rear for them to pick up the phone, so you could send them a voice mail but it takes like 2 or 3 days to respond if your lucky and by those days you probably even forgot what was your questions ............ and by the way theres a thing called openstudy people seem to do the point less projects there to save time but there all really cheating .

After almost completing my third year, I must say i have only had one bad apple teacher. The rest are great! some of them will even text back on the weekends. If I had to change one thing however, the system needs some work. I hate how it kicks me out due to inactivity. However, compared to my other online school, this one is leaps and bounds better. I have recommend FLVS to many other people, and I will continue.

All 3 of my sons have taken out of state flex classes at FVS. They have ranged from introductory classes in Spanish and Computer science to Advanced Placement coursework. It is nice to have a self paced program with teachers that generally do care and provide support for students to learn and succeed. My older 2 sons were successful in college applications and have been able to graduate from Stanford U and USC with undergraduate degrees in 3 years thanks to work done at FVS. Thank you FVS!

My daughter has been enrolled in FLVS FLEX for a couple of years. For the most part it has been a good experience until recently. Just like regular school & life in general, teachers/people are different and run their courses differently. This year she decided to concentrate on one class at a time & knock it out at an accelerated pace. Over the summer my daughter took Forensic science. She started with one teacher but unfortunately that teacher needed surgery and it took about a week to get her assigned to a new teacher. No work could be done until a teacher was assigned. The new teacher for the most part takes the entire 48 hours he is allowed to grade her work. This becomes an issue when you cannot take the test until all of your work is graded. We tried to get her signed up for ASL but the classes were full. So she decided to take psychology 1 & forensic science at the same time because it is taking longer than expected to complete Foresic Science. Its been over a week and she is still not placed in a psychology 1 class. We are considering looking into other virtual school options at this point.

I am a high school student, taking college level classes. I m also in a sport. They say that you can work at your own pace, this is a complete LIE! You have to have a certain amount of assignments submitted a week, and if you don t, you get kicked out of the class. With a pile of homework every night, going to practice, and trying to do an online class, it is very stressful and some weeks I can not complete all of the assignments. Then I get kicked out or threatened to be kicked out because of it. So much for working at your own pace!
They also have a VERY big problem with calling me constantly during class and calling my parents while they are at work. I told them multiple times what time I m in school and they would still call me. This online school is a JOKE and it has brought stress to me and my family. I m just trying to take a foreign language class to graduate and this barbaric, self-serving institute has ruined my life.

FLVS is definitely a tough course, but it's a great one. I am apart of the FLEX program, and it's great. I submit 2-3 assignments in all my courses a week (Language Arts, Math, Civics, Science) , and it's challenging. But hey, that's school! I started this year, and advice for anyone who is starting out, is to not procrastinate, and don't get all worked up. When you start out it will be stressful, you'll be confused and worried, but don't fret. It'll get better, and you'll learn to like it! Sometimes the lessons get overwhelming, but teachers can help you with this. I personally LOVE all my teachers, they are very nice and helpful. When I'm stressed, they answer my questions, and help me understand. I haven't finished this year's worth of work get, but as of now I have 3 A's and 1 B. I hope to change that B, I'm getting there! I hope my advice helped. I personally like FLVS, and I hope you will too!

I have never done virtual school before. Im a mom who always looked forward to my kids going to brick and mortar. But now with the world today.... i choose FLVS over my scholls e-learning or county virtual and could not be more pleased. Very amazing staff awesome customer service and tech team and so far awesome teachers. I am glad we made this decision. It took some getting use to but it is a great company and they will help you when needed.

HATE IT

HATE IT
This is only my first year enrolled with FLVS and I can already see some major flaws. The website is not great at letting you learn from your mistakes. If you get a multiple choice question wrong all the website will do is tell you that you are wrong. They really should allow you to see what you did by showing you the correct answer and how to get it. They should also try to make the learning a little interesting. Another flaw with the website is that on the tests the hardest question is always the heaviest weighted and if you miss it your score will drop by a significant margin. My teacher, Devan Edgerton has been amazing so far and that is one of the only positives.

For a online course, this cant decide whether it wishes to be a online course or a actual class, making it very hard to even apporach, I generally would not recommend it, it has too many roadblocks

There is a lot of good things about FLVS, the unfortunate part is that there is plenty of bad things to go with those good things.

One thing I really like is the pace of the courses. It is extremely concerning to me that kids here are giving you all one star because they ''only'' had a week to turn in four assignments (seriously, if you cant do four assignments in seven days you need to manage your time better.) With that good thing, however, comes a con. Most teachers have a tendency to be overbearing in terms of falling behind. For example, I once emailed a teacher that I would be on vacation for a week, completed 9 assignments in advance the week before the vacation, but when I came back home and checked my FLVS email, My teacher was threatening me that I would be dropped from the course. Obviously it amounted to nothing more, but it was still a frustrating thing.

In terms of the physical layout of the site, I have no complaints. Everything, on pc and mobile, is easy to get to from any page. Great job on that.

In terms of teachers, personally, I have no complaints... In my friend's cases... not so much. I have taken Personal Fitness, Critical Thinking, and currently Spanish 2 with FLVS, and have had amazing teachers for each. Some of friends, however, have taken core classes (Mainly Science and Maths) and they complained about those courses just about everyday. I have a theory that the elective teachers are great, but the quality drops off in core class teachers.

My most recent experience with FLVS (Spanish 2) has been great! Mrs. Giordano is an amazing teacher. My only complaint is the way the modules are so repetitive- in each you learn about a spanish country, and learn vocab associated with said country. Other than that, everything has been good. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Honestly, I feel that i do not learn anything. I read the lesson, do the exam or assignment, but while doing the exam or assignment, i have to go back to the lesson several times, SEVERAL TIMES. The resources that they give you is like looking at dirt. I do not recommend. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS. If yo thought that this is better education, i must say i would love to go back to public schools and put up with teachers and students, and actually have friends. This messes up your child. Makes them socially awkward. If you want to go through a year of learning nothing, putting up with teachers messaging you all the time, "WORK AT YOUR OWN TEACHERS PACE", yeah not "work at your own pace," The teachers tell you the pace. This whole "it helped me so much" is a lie. I do not recommend. The website is not glitched at all, i love the website, i just hate the rules, and the teachers. My favorite teacher, is Mrs. Gallman. She is nice and she actually helps you if you need help. Thank you for your time.

My daughter is in 1st grade at FLVS Full time and they have been amazing. From the start the communication was just what we needed, her teacher is so kind and caring as well as great talking with the kids and teaching the materiel. They offer clubs and have all kinds of virtual events throughout the year for you to feel connected to the school. It s been a great experience for us!

The staff shutted down my whole entry and called me stupid. Staff was also very racist..... they also never gave me information on how i know if i pass on to the next grade and 4 of my teachers kicked me out of the class due to " unsatisfactory work time and im in the flex program

Let me say this first!!!!!!!!!! This year they are having issues with enrollment and tech. That are doing the best they can with the massive amount of new students which also means new teachers. All my boys teachers are AMAZING!!!!! They call to check on us and we can call them and I have never waited more than a day for a response. This is a completely different way of learning so patience and understanding is a must. Both boys are on FLVS. 9th on flex and 5th full time. With the flex you set your pace. He will do all the assignments due that week in 3 or 4 days. Sometimes he takes breaks between classes sometimes he does. He can choose how to do the classes. Like Monday all math Tuesday all science. This is his 3rd year. He can also take classes during the summer. The 5th grader just started this year. He is still adjusting but would rather be on online school than in brick and mortar. He says cause he is only do school for 4 or 5 hours instead of 7 He is on full time so far we like it. You can go by the to do list or some do the block style.

FLVS isn't absolutely perfect , but it isn't horrible at the same time.
Yeah , I will admit at times it can be very stressful when you have multiple classes piling up on you but it all depends on the teachers you have , some teachers will go strictly by the book and complain when you are a day late on an assignment and then there are the good teachers , which stay off your back and will help you when you need it . I highly recommend Mr.Mcpherson as an English teacher , he is an amazing teacher and helps me with anything I might need help with , there is also some teachers i've had that need some major improving , but , overall I would say it all depends on your experience

does not even deserve a star! Its too hard, they say "you can work at your own pace" but you can't AND don't even get me STARTED on the teachers! My teacher said that i could do the rest of my course over the summer because he said on a phone call that i could so i wanted to make sure if that was still ok but he didin't respond, so i asked again and what do you know he dropped me 3 DAYS LATER with still NO RESPONSE he even said i had 2 weeks to catch up, but he dropped me after ONE! It is also every bland and makes me depressed when i see it, also i heard them say that some teachers have memes! I was actually excited about that part until i when't on there and saw "memes" (cough minions cough) minions are not memes, not minions not mike wazowski and 100% NOT secret life of pets. The DBA's are awkward and it goes from easy assignment to hard to easy and then super hard, super hard again and hard and it only goes back to easy once every like 15 assignments! If your a parent reading this, make sure your child is a genius before inerolling them in this! if there not a genius DON'T, i would rather get BULLIED then do this! It makes me stressed out and cry when i think about it. DON'T DO IT!

I hate FLVS so much.

I hate FLVS so much.

i transferred to this online school because i was tired of public school and getting bullied. it was so bad that i overdosed two times. it caused havoc on me, really. the worst i could ever think of at the moment.

yeah. then FLVS came along after i found out i was put in it while i was in a mental hospital. it stresses me out more than school. i would rather get bullied and beat then have to take this course. it's so stressful, difficult, time-consuming. i was lied to, i didn't get the help i expected. i expected a teacher there whenever i needed help and a fast response.
yeah. no. this thing puts more weight on my shoulders. they erased all of my grades, so i had to start over all the way from January. all the pressure will kill you.
worst time of my life. everything is unexpected. you're pushed trying to turn in assignments on time. at your own pace.. okay,,, then why is everything fast-paced? i hate being at a computer all day.

Don't. Take. FLVS.

This website is so bad. I had to take a gym class because I needed the credit for one semester. They give lots of assignments with little or no direction at all. Also, this is exam after exam. These exams only have 5 questions on them meaning missing one question will result in an 80 as a grade. The lessons that are supposed to prepare you for the exam give information that is not even on the exam itself. It's dumb and it is irrelevant. I would never recommend this website.

This is just a terrible excuse for lazy teachers to throw their kids onto some terrible site to do busy work in their class. Also some classes are 100x easier than other. For example I'm doing psychology because i thought it would be interesting, however, it was just 6 hours of work a week and all the work did not even help me learn, but just to take up my time. I had to do 3 assignments a week and each one was designed to take 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. And keep in mind I have this and other homework from actual school, and in school I have 2, 40 minute classes to get all this done, the rest has to be on my own time.

I recently transferred from public to virtual school and have almost completed half a year, I am taking four honors classes as well as a physical education and a DIT course, DO NOT take a lot of classes, especially honors, you have to do way more assignments on top of all the standard class assignments, the workload is unreal, (I absolutely despised my Biology honors class, Mrs.Brown makes it extremely challenging to stay caught up.) yes you only need to submit three or four a week for each class but some of these assignments take hours and have very strict guidelines. But if I just had the four classes, i feel it would be more reasonable and if you have the work ethic, it is worth it. This being said, it is extremely hard to get caught up if you fall behind, DON'T. Also, there is constant teacher contact which can be interpreted as a little overbearing or even harassing at times, but the educators are always kind and would like you to succeed, so other than the workload and some communication issues, i have no complaints. Virtual school does wonders in a mathematics course, all the information is there and organized for you to memorize, and being able to go back and fully review concepts you misinterpreted or didn't remember is a valuable education tool. I'm not a fan of the live lessons though, they run odd hours so i'm usually busy when they're scheduled.

I love FLVS!!! I took 5 courses on FLVS; 1 of the courses needed to be updated to become more user friendly (Spanish 2). Besides that everything is perfect. DBAs is my favorite assignment, they are so easy to complete. The possibility of going as fast as I want; is actually amazing. All my teaches were great; responding within hours, plus everything was graded that day. The teachers are really their to help but; they won't tell you anything about the assignment to it is submitted. Like I said above, finishing courses that would take me the whole year to do, could be completed within weeks. Actually I finished a course in 7 weeks. The courses do teach you everything you need to know; my prof a 5 on an EOC. It is quality, and everyone should take classes on FLVS. I love doing FLVS, it is actually what I do for fun. FLVS is one of my friends :) !!!

My daughter took French 1 starting in the Summer of 2013 and French 2 starting in the Spring of 2014. She was taking these along with regular classes at Miami Palmetto Senior High. She graduated from Palmetto in 2015. She got a full ride to attend Miami Dade Honors College and just walk graduation for her AA. The Miami Dade Honors program is only 2 years. She just got accepted to University of Miami for a full ride for her last 2 years. She just received a call from Miami Dade and they said she can't graduate because she is missing the 2nd year of language from high school. Of course, we went online to review her grades and sure enough the 2nd year classes were never activated nor have entries. She had 2 different teachers and it looks like there are multiple entries from each teacher. French 2 Segment 1 has 2 entries. The first says status=withdrawn but she has a grade of 92%. The second entry from the second teacher just says never activated. Also French 2 Segment 2 says never activated for both instructors. According to the completion dates it looks like she finished French 2 Segment 1 before French 1 Segment 2. There appears to be a lack of coordination and a possible database issue with their system or entry process. I can't tell you how disgusted I feel. It's causing my wife, who has Multiple Sclerosis, to manifest physical symptoms that could become life threatening. This needs to be corrected immediately.

I have been at FLVS for 3 years because of my dance schedule. My current teachers are Ms. DeBlois, Ms. Vodre, Ms. Haid, Ms. Morosky, and Ms. Ariatti who have to be angels from heaven! They have over 100 students and yet they make sure everyone understands and they always respond quickly to your questions/texts/concerns. I did have a disappointing experience in my 1st attending this school with one of my teachers, however this year and the previous year was great! My favorite teachers have to be Ms. Ludlow (last year) and Ms. DeBlois (this year). There are so much homework to do which is frustrating however my current teachers are doing a great job making it as easy as possible! Only one thing, I requested to be in spanish and photography electives this year and I wasn't able to be in any of them which was a bit of a turn off. Overall, pretty good school especially if you prefer online school or if you have a crazy schedule.

The teachers are actually really nice and great at communicating as well as caring for their students but FLVS itself sucks. I've been doing FLVS since eight grade and I am now a junior in high school and the website still is horrific. The system always says it is about working at your own pace and taking your time but then they contradict themselves by giving you pace charts that require a certain amount of work. I understand you have to work in your course but students have more important things to do like their actually homework, extracurriculars, volunteering and work. If a student can't submit at the pace that FLVS says to it is most likely because they are busy not because they don't want to. Don't say you allow people to work at their own pace then email them 500 times saying your not working enough, we have lives.

This schooling absolutely sucks the teachers give you excuses like go back to the lesson go back to watch the video and they dont give a horses butt about you. ) stars 0. i absolute dont recommend this living trap of excuses and you have to self teach yourself. And if you read there response they sent me this is exactly what i mean, they give you excuses and tell you to go to the website to get help. This was a prime example. The school can close down for all i care.

Some classes are great and some are the worst experience you'll ever encounter. In my case if you couldn't do a certain portion of math you couldn't move on to anything else and the teacher would "help" you by hosting a live lesson and putting a problem on the board and waiting for you to solve it without any help at all. Also they only notify you about single assignments you miss and that's about all you get. I started out here my first time and i had no idea how the system worked or how classes worked and i was left to figure it out (after i was told i got enrolled 3 weeks late and still had to do all the work i missed by not being enrolled). My gym teacher wanted videos of people working out and would send text messages and emails constantly to try to make you do them and they are worth a very large percentage of your grade. (which mat not be big for some, but i don't want any teacher having a video of me working out). I would say only go here part time because full time students like me, and people i have talked to have nothing but bad things most of the time because they hire some AMAZING teachers and some very very bad ones that have no idea how technology even works and just gives everyone a huge headache.

Ms.LaLonde is the worst Language Arts teacher that i have ever had. She is very snippy and always has an attitude. I really hope she gets fired.

The first time i talked to my World History teacher she sounded completley DEAD. There was no enthusiasim what-so-ever. I just thought that was because she may have had a long rough day with her other students. I have talked to Mrs. Sims on many ocassions and she still sounds like a zombie. Is it so hard to have a little happiness in your voice???!!!! Mrs Sims below.

It's a really good place to do some things for extra credits for school. Either kids are lazy or they just want to put you guys out of business because they hate school. I took keyboarding and critical thinking and the teachers were really nice! They talked really full of energy and were ready to help you! The courses were easy and the final exam was also easy and covered everything you learned. I gave 4 stars due to some parts of the pages having formatting issues such as when posting in the discussion group but other than that, this is a really nice educational place!

The teachers are over loaded making it hard to get to the kids and I agree some of the content and assignments for some classes need to be redone. The language courses are really the worst. They need updating for the new tech and they don't really help me.

I'm trying to type in my password but I can't even get pass it because it keep saying that the password is wrong. All I want to do is do some classes online to get education. This is so stupid I rather take them in school then online. They should send you your password if you happen to forget it or in my case it wrong when i know it right, not have you make a new one if you don't remember your old one. I really need to have my password not some code to change it when it won't get it change because the password I keep typing is still wrong. I'm not going to use this website if this keep happening to me. I'm being dropped from my class when I can't even login to my account. I think they don't even care because they would of sented what my password is. So anybody that decide to use this make sure you don't forget your password or you will be dropped from your classes that you want to take or are taking.

FLVS might be a little stressful, but as long as you do at least an hour a day, you will be right on track. It really is the best online school you can find.It requires a lot of reading, but is really helpful. I speak Spanish, and I actually learned something new. It gets easier to maneuver as you progress through. Sometimes, I do get frustrated because I don't understand or something is confusing, but that is why you call and email the teachers.

Teachers switched 3 times, got kicked out on an announced vaction, and the workload is crazy, only two sumbitted assignments per week, but 3-5 lessons per assignment, so hours of work every week. They have tried to help me, and it is a new course, so understandable. Would recommend NOT taking new courses.

It's a good idea but in actually practice it's a joke. A family member went thru them full time and was kicked out because of it. Yes it's actually true for that reason as it has already been reported since nearly all full time student are kicked out or forced to drop out for one reason or another. In the case of my family member they wouldn't accept the work/assignments that were turned in and had constant technical issues with their account that they refused to fix.

So do your best to stay in public school or ONLY apply for part time at flvs because they will find a reason and a way to kick you out if you apply to be a full time student.

the school's fine and i finished drivers ed with no problems. But the pace thing was a bit confusing because they say "work at your own pace" but if you're a day behind on an assignment, the teacher's on you and gives you a hard time.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!First year was fine. The sites had a lot of little issues but thats about all. Second set of classes was hell. They wouldn t let me get any work done. They put me on hold from doin work and said I need to call and would not answer calls for 2 weeks. They kept making me call them with my dad in order to get back in the class and literally wasted another week of bs, when I could of been done with the course by then. They then tell me I need to try to finish the course by a certain day and if I can t then I need to contact them and tell them I need more time.I needed more time so I asked and they said I was supposed to be done by now and kicked me out of the course.Ms.Williams lead English teacher was the most crazy women I ve ever spoke with in my life. She answered the phone by saying now you listen here William! and continued yelling at me for a reason she made up in her head. She thought I was being rude through text messages which I was not. I apologized for having coming off as rude in anyway and she said be quite, apologize by not talking and listening to me! I am teacher and you are the 19 year old student! I said calmly if we could have a conversation at a normal tone. She continued going crazy. I ended up hanging up. End of story I got kicked out with 3 assignments left and will no longer be graduating high school because of this bs. Thanks flvs!
