Completely stressing and they take you out of the coarse for no certain reason. My Civics teacher Mr. Morocco sucks because he kept on being so strict. Not only that the stress level is high I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Hello how are you doing? I love this school very much. I love everyone. Spanish is a great language. I usually eat lunch at school. My mother was born a while ago, and also with my dad. I hope this has been helpful.

Some people in this school are really bad. I am 13yrs and the math teacher and the integrity team were so rude to me. I was told that I copied on my pre-algebra tests which was a lied. I never copied. I worked very hard :-( I was forced to take a test with a proctor watching me at all time. I was so nervous for weeks. The proctor told that I was not allowed to use a graphic calculator. I feel so lost and scared. I had a 83% B average before I took my final exam with the proctor. I failed my final test because I was scared and nervous. My 83% B average scored went to a 73% C average for the entire course. But I was told that I will never past the course because my last test with the proctor was that count which I failed So all my hard work during the entire 15 weeks was a waste. They failed me. Now I have to take this course again :-( I am feeling so stress and afraid to take Math again. I do not understand why they did this to me. What else they are going to do to me. I proved myself all year. I hate this place and I cant stop crying. They took away my hopes.

Some classes are alright but my mental health and physical health has been absolutely terrible ever since I started here. Material is confusing and either over or under explained. Thankfully some of my teachers know what they are doing. Only doing this because of covid but I would never choose this over public school.

This is so stressful and horrible I promise you that you will procrastinate and the teachers don't care if you do you'll get behind and there isn't much you can do. I did algebra 1 in this and I never talked to the teacher unless she called me and she got mad if i didn't know the answer. Also I know everyone gets all the answers on the internet so you will be like oh this EOC will be so easy I have an A wrong you will get screwed by the end of course exam and it will knock your grade own to a C. And after all of this I didn't learn a scrap of algebra and I truly hope I don't completely fail and embarrass myself in algebra two. Trust me everyone you may think this is a good idea but in the end its a nightmare. Best of luck to those still in it.

It's a good idea but in actually practice it's a joke. A family member went thru them full time and was kicked out because of it. Yes it's actually true for that reason as it has already been reported since nearly all full time student are kicked out or forced to drop out for one reason or another. In the case of my family member they wouldn't accept the work/assignments that were turned in and had constant technical issues with their account that they refused to fix.

So do your best to stay in public school or ONLY apply for part time at flvs because they will find a reason and a way to kick you out if you apply to be a full time student.

Florida virtual school is by far the most disgraceful way to teach your kids; not only is the layout not user friendly at all. The "teachers" don't seem to care about your child's success. In fact they don't teach, they are just there to grade so don't consider them teachers. If you want to push yourself or your kid through a struggle and stressful way of "education" by all means, flvs is the best for that. But from personal experience, Florida virtual school is a big failure. I haven't learned a thing over the past year of being enrolled. Not to mention that your "teachers" can have vacation whenever they please. Leaving you with a handful of work you need to complete but can't even start

this school is honestly horrible if you need help your suppose to call a teacher who doesn t even answer you and the amount of work for a week is ridiculous never put your kid through this mess it like torture

Good afternoon,

Good afternoon,
My son just finished his Chinese 1 class. I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how awesome it was to work with Ms. Yinan Wang. Her communication was so good and her grading was very prompt. My son suffers from anxiety and her calm demeanor really helped my son be successful in this class.
Sincerely,
Sabrina Christy

FLVS IS TERRIBLE and most of all depressing, ive found myself wanting to rip the hair out of my head and feeling more depressed than i have ever been compared to day school. i broke down crying one time because it was causing so many problems for me and my family. you no longer get to see your friends because it consumes like ALL of your time and the assignments are difficult. i rather shove my face in a book and do work day and night non stop before i EVER choose to do flvs again. its more complicated that actual school.if you dont do it constantly they drop you from the class and you lose all the work you've done. you also learn nothing. flvs should be more like E2020 with a lesson and multiple choice questions.

Ms. Preziosi was awesome!! First class that my son took online, and was very nervous to take one. Now, he is looking forward to take another class. Ms. Preziosi boosted his confidence and her service was unbelievable. Thanks for giving my son a great experience!!!

The teachers obviously don't know what they are talking about. During the dba they are easily corrected and when you ask them to explain something they tell you to go back to the lesson. All these one star ratings yet they still have a 2.5 rating? Sounds weird

This is the worst thing i have evry seen. To all you people that say that us writing these negative coments are just some little kids srew off. So back to flvs. This is cancer in its truest form and i hate it. This is like awful. this morning my mom told me that i still had some assements. its the f**king summer for gods sake. So to all you people that try this course drop out now or drink bleach. and please dont give me a damn copy and past answer.

They do not let you go on your own pace. I must say that it is an easy way to get an 'A' but you must turn in at least 3-4 assignments each week. I was kicked out of the class because I have a major health condition and they only gave me an hours notice (through flvs email) saying that the teacher requested withdrawal until they actually withdrew me. All of the teachers are nice, but the stress they put on you is terrible. I have 10 assignments that I need to finish this week, so three days, or they will kick me out again. It is the worst online class I have ever experienced.

I started FLVS do to falling ill at the end of first semester in public school. We came here so that I could catch up and return for my senior year. they don't let you go at your own pace, and its very very stressful having to complete nearly 30 assignments a week especially when you have to try to teach everything to yourself! I am called almost every two seconds and a few of my teachers are VERY rude both me and my parents have received unnecessary attitude. I wouldn't recommend FLVS unless you are an amazing self learner, immensely organized, and capable of dealing with intense stress! not happy with my experience.

FLVS is not what it is said to be. Their "work at your own pace" message is complete bullcrap. What they say is "work at your own pace" really means "work at their pace or faster." The assignments are super difficult and it is too much workload. I do not suggest FLVS, unless you are only doing one class at a time.

My son takes his high school classes through Florida Virtual School. Not much bad to say about the place. Classes are rigorous and without classroom distractions he has come on leaps and bounds. my C/D/F student has become an A/B student. The teachers keep in touch often with both student and parent contact and they follow his IEP to a tee. Thanks Florida Virtual School!

One word..... poor!!! The course material was created by a masochist to frustrate and belittle the people trying to work through it. Completely irrelevant information and ridiculously inaccurate answers to the the poorly ambiguous questions. This was not enlightening, helpful and added nothing to obtaining a drivers license in the state of Florida. I feel cheated for my sons intellect and time!

FLVS has been great for my son! Curriculum is current, teachers are certified teachers and they have been great! They have been able to challenge him when need it and the teachers have also been patient when need it. They have many resources to help the students succeed. Love the flexibility for our schedules!!

Listen, this school has its ups and downs, so far it has been the worst school i've ever attended! The only plus I can give this school is my teachers, my teachers are very kind to me (but one of them takes days to respond back to my messages...) The DBA's are very confusing and hard to set one up and quite frankly useless. I never learn from my mistakes while doing a test... The lessons are extremely boring! (this is probably due to my ADD because it is hard for me to focus...)
I think i've gotten depressed or very, very, stressed and irritated... (this school is very bad for my mental state.)
I've been dropped from 2 classes already because of my "pace schedule."
and while we're at it, the whole "at your own pace" thing, it's a total LIE! I have to at least turn in 3-4 assignments a week! (so much for at my own pace...)
[Can't wait to see that automated bot message that's going to reply to this review!]
In conclusion, this school ruined my life, it is bad for my mental state, terrible at helping me learn or learn from my mistakes...
(Can't wait to leave this god awful school.)

FLVS is really good, if you are on a computer. You learn more on FLVS than a public school because there are less people to stop the class by bad behavior. My teacher L. Mrs. Thomas is a very nice teacher, so if you get her you will have a good time.

Teachers hand out assignments like candy on Hallow...

Teachers hand out assignments like candy on Halloween leaving me with no free time at home causing anxiety as well. You would think with 2,400 reviews and still only 2.5 stars something would be changed it's actually pretty sad. Choosing this school was the biggest regret of my life. Some days take 2 times longer then regular school days. Nothing is being done about the complaints. Horrible customer service as well. I am not getting enough sleep every night. They made this sound like the best option but really it was the worst and now i'm stuck doing this virtual school for the entire semester. It's supposed to be flexible but if you don't turn in a assignment past 7 days the teachers start blowing up your phone about it even though work doesn't have to be submitted by 5 PM on Friday which is also ridiculous because with the amount of work they give you it's hard to have all of it turned in by 5 PM. Something needs to be changed even though sadly nothing will. The 5 star reviews are people who got very lucky with there classes. It infuriates me that they are aloud to make work 20x harder than a brick and motor school. An investigation needs to be done and something needs to be changed!

It's an ok school. I like the teachers I have especially my forensics teacher Mr Carlyle. I learn interesting things in some classes. Others not so much. Some of the assignments are quite stupid.

I hate this school so much!! i stared and they tell me to work at my own pace! i got calls every week!! kept on getting bothered. i couldnt work at my own pace because they were telling to send atlease 5 assaments a week! i am a slow learning so thats why i join homeschooling just because i just couldnt focus and proccess what they were teaching in school. At first every thing was fine but January came and it went downhill. My dad had open heart sugery and i was at the hospital and just focusing on my dad but the rude people that told u to work at your own pace withdrawls you just because i havent sent work in since 2 weeks!! So that was my experience i hate it and never coming to this school again!!!

Yo, don't listen to the hate. I know its hard but compared to regular school it's a walking the park. I've been doing Florida Virtual School since 6th grade and home schooled since 3rd grade. Personally It's been the best circular choice I have made. Every year you are required by the state to take a variant of math (pre-algebra, algebra, ect.) a varient of science (biology, chemistry, science, ect) English, and a variant of history/social studies. I've been doing year-round and am ahead of my peers. I am currently finishing up 9th grade. I think this hate comes from kids that are A, bad at school, or B because flvs is independent some kids break under the stress of responsibility for their work.

I just finished my first course in FLVS and I must say that I learned more in that online course than I EVER did in any classroom. This is a great alternative to sitting in a classroom doing nothing most of the time, maybe harder but you can work at your own pace and whenever you please. I have been taking half of my classes on campus and half on FLVS and there is a LOT of stress taken off my shoulders when I'm doing FLVS work compared to classroom work. This program has improved my self-discipline and has taught me that you can teach yourself more than any teacher could teach you.

Kudos to FLVS!! I am a proud student of FLVS. I just completed the first course for 11th grade, marine science. I do have to say Mrs. Torlak was amazing! I did have a sour taste with some courses I have completed "back in the day" (3 years in the running) But I've only had 1 really disappointing experience, in all of these years. If you want to know if this will be a 'good' experience for your child, you're wrong. It would be a great experience for them! It does not hurt to try it out. And if this turns out to not be for you, then you have a 14 day period to drop out without it counting as a dropout! There are some excellent courses with some amazing teachers! Awesome electives and a drivers ed program! so what are you waiting for???

This school is the absolute worst. I recommend nobody to take it especially for a math course. They failed me and there is way too many assignments. If you ever have a teacher name Ms.Dyke, switch out of her immediately!!!

Dearest Reader,

Dearest Reader,
I was honestly tempted to write a raging post about what this school has done to me. Before I begin, I want to state very clearly that this is solely my opinion, I am in 10th grade, and on top of that, I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, and thus my review may cater to you more or less, based upon that.
My experience at FLVS has been less than desirable. The only reason I am taking an online course is because it is a requirement for the path I am taking.
On the plus side, the teachers are normally nice. I will say that upon further examination some of them are only here to do their job. They post copy pasted messages everywhere, which seems to be a running theme. But they get the job done, and their persona does make everyone happy.
But then there are the negatives, which far outweigh the positives. I'm going to go on record saying that I don't usually get bored. But this class that I am in (HOPE) is BORING... and I fear for the day when my little brother will one day have to take this course. He has a short attention span, and would NOT be able to get through this.
Worst of all, this site literally makes people want to commit suicide. I've had to stop numerous suicides because of this course. I'll give you a second to take that in. I, a teenager in 10th grade, had to keep my peers from committing suicide because this course was so stressful, they couldn't or wouldn't tell an adult. It gives me nightmares, thinking what my little brother, of whom also has severe depression and anxiety, will experience. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am taking this class for a credit recovery at my high school. I DCA'd (denied credit due to absences) my English 12 and PE class. The result was that I was enrolled in your Journalism 1 v11 and (HOPE) courses. So first I would like to point out that in both of these courses there are so many broken links that it's embarrassing (mostly to discovery streaming). When I get to assignments that ask me to create a webpage "with working links" I can't help but laugh out loud. Second the assignments posed by the courses are extremely unrealistic at least for my case. When I take a course to recover the credit lost by not being in gym only 8 days through the entirety of the year I expect something light that requires me to go exercise maybe daily (gym was every other day) and that's it. Instead I received a class that asked me to exercise daily and submit proof that I took a CPR course (which I don't think you're going to pay for FLVS) along with teaching me basic concepts about sportsmanship (I passed nursury school FLVS I know not to bite other kids when I lose a game) and other things that are just a bore to go through. The assignments are things like "Go interview the president of the United States and ask him what he thinks about the health of Americans" which maybe some other more motivated kid could get an interview with the President but I'd rather the assignments be something more like "Interview one of your parents about their daily exercise routines." And third the organization of your lessons is horrendous. I don't want to click around a maze of tabs hidden within other tabs just to find out what the benefits of muscle fitness are, I'd rather the information be all out on the page already when I get there sort of like a textbook (textbooks are not mazes for a reason). So in conclusion FIX YOUR DAMN LINKS, keep the assignments reasonable (I don't want to have to call someone's secretary to schedule an interview with them for a silly high school course, these people have better things to do) and get rid of those silly tabs in the lessons that make the lesson content a maze.

Terrible experience. At the beginning it was only alright, but after months of working on FLVS I've only come to hate it. Hate it with a passion at that. It doesn't update my progress, the assignments are way to long and complicated for a simple history class, and in all honestly i wish i would have never even signed up for it. I could sit here all day and rant and say why to never sign up even your worst enemy for this "system" called Florida Virtual School. I cant say I have anything positive to say about it either. Its even caused problems with my family. Whatever the administrators of this website think is "Good for the well being of their student's education and satisfactory of their product" are complete off target. This is a good WHAT NOT TO DO example of what should be implemented as online schooling.

Thank you. I have no intention on replying to your computer based response system either or any of the social media sites FLVS is on.

PLEASE READ! PLEASE. I am going to tell you all the TRUTH about FLVS and OCVS and why people say what they say about it. The people on here who hate it are people who most likely aren't dedicated to their work and they do not keep up with their assignments or they get in trouble for copying work from somewhere else or they get taken out of the class because they do absolutely no work at all. The People who like it are people who are taking advantage of every hour of the day or at least 5 to 6 hours of their day and they are working their butts off to not only stay on pace (which doesn't take much time honestly) but they will also most likely finish school faster and graduate earlier. I feel like Virtual schools really show you who is lazy and who is not. I am a 17 year old girl and I can tell you that i have been both lazy and on track with my work, I am human so of course their will be times when everything isn't perfect, but the teachers are LOVELY. All they want is for you to pass their class on pace or ahead of pace with a grade above or at a C. They want you to do great and I personally believe that Online school is better than regular public school. I literally ALWAYS get one on one attention and I will be graduating early and everything! Colleges also like seeing that you are home schooled or virtual schooled because it shows that you have determination and drive and that you want to succeed and you care about your academic life. I am very happy with FLVS and OCVS. of course i prefer OCVS because they give you a diploma but both schools are absolutely amazing! I also have free time to work out and hang out with my friends which is lovely! and no i am not anti social or anything. To be honest i make more friends now that I am virtual schooled because i actually take the time to hangout with my friends from my old school instead of just seeing them at that school. I am also understanding what I am learning better also.People who say they do not learn anything are people who do not take the time to read and they are copying all of their work. OH! and for people who think that math should be taught in a interactive environment then you are wrong. I do better with math online than at my old public school, and if you do need to interact with your teacher they have a computer connecting program that lets the teacher literally teach you one on one and talk to you at the same time just like being in a class! So if you are thinking about putting your child, preteen, or teen into FLVS or OCVS then you should :) but i would also recommend that you put them in a sport or hobby (dance, art, yoga) so that they can get out of the house and do other things too :) I hope that you choose to do online school because it is honestly the best choice that i have ever made and my mom agrees with me.

Sincerely Alexis P. :) <3

My experience with flvs like most students was indeed stressful it is middle of may and I'm already finished with 4/6 classes Iv'e been taking, I don't RECOMMEND any loving parent to sign their child up IF THEY DON'T WANT TO I did not want to do this but was forced to do the homeschooling convention and wasn't even told I'd be doing homeschooling until it was to late to even say goodbye to all my friends, I moved before the next school year even started, Now here's the thing you don't learn life skills in regular schools however on flvs there are actually a few thing you learn that are useful for the real world, such as the H.O.P.E program and the Spanish 1 program I suggest ONLY taking these classes, the others are quite difficult and time consuming, this was my first year doing flvs and i'm sorry i don't like this program I really hoped that I would but I'm literally begging my parents when I'm finished with all my classes saying that i want to go back to regular public school, living in this new neighbourhood makes it to where I can't hang out with kids my own age, the only time I see other people my age is when I got to go to church on mondays for vocal and band practice, wednesday for youth, and sunday for service, this is the only time, plus i wasn't always in church, i started going because of the lonelyness caused by flvs, I'm not saying there aren't groups from the flvs that have kids like me except they have there gatherings ON FRIDAY WHEN I CAN'T EVEN FINISH MY WORK BY SATURDAY NIGHT I work 13 hours a day EVERDAY, I'm so depressed and apethetic because of my experiences with this school, I recommend letting you rCHILD declare what he wants to do, Homeschooling or real school, and i think you should respect our decision with that matter, this is my review and outlook on flvs i know it's not a "positive" review but in life negetives can often times become a positive.

It is a little faster than normal school, but the teachers are hard to get a hold of and they make up their own rubric even though they claim to use the one that they give you. This is especially evident in Language Arts courses. Many of the assignments are super vague, and they usually put things in the assignments that were definitely not taught in the lesson. If you want to actually learn or even partially understand the material, you have to Google everything or study for hours. Some things are easy and are exceptions, but this is a major problem. They need to get staff that are more helpful and available, as much of the staff is practically impossible to reach and when you ask for any amount of personal help, they will give you a useless help video that is only a recorded collaboration.

We are very happy with FLVS Fulltime Middle School. I have always heard great things about FLVS, but I really am blown away at how stellar of a program this is. My daughter has started her first year in 8th grade (coming from brick and mortar her entire school career). She is not only enjoying the freedoms of homeschooling but is excelling in all subjects. She is enrolled on the rigorous track and doing very well. I also feel that this is the first year of her middle school career where I really got to know her teachers and staff. I am very satisfied with the teachers and curriculum. We have never had any connectivity issues and teachers are READILY available for any questions or concerns.

Ok, so I am in the 7th grade, and this is absolutely the worst. I find it hard contacting teachers because they take about three days to answer my questions. Also, I don't understand the way they explain what I am learning. When I contact them asking if they can explain it to me, they just tell me to look at the notes, and I don't even understand it! They say i can work at my own pace, but I'm starting to think otherwise. My teachers start questioning me when I don't do my schoolwork for a while and take a break. I hope my mom takes me out of Florida Virtual School.

Lol sure let your children learn all on their own....

Lol sure let your children learn all on their own. Let's see where they end up without role models or true guidance. Teachers will not be there to answer even the simplest of questions because that is not the design. The design is only to recruit (welcome calls) students and then speak to them once a month if you are lucky. Parents be ready to take on the challenge of becoming the teacher. You think you'll be able to but in all reality you have your own life as well. Good luck with the phony stuff. A real parent would ensure their students are being held accountable to some sort of standard. Playing videos games everyday will not cut it.

Any low reviews are due to the fact that people don't talk to the teachers. I have been in the FLVS for 5 years. Every teacher I meet knows what they are doing and are willing to help. There are online sessions every week and private tutoring as well. FLVS also teaches a valuable lesson and that is how to teach yourself. The teachers are there and everything but if you don't look and really study the lesson whether in video, live, or written format or you don't put the effort to lean you won't do well. In real life you won't have people "teaching" you.

Flvs-- horrible I took drivers ED and also science. Now drivers ED I enjoyed but the science part of it is the worst thing in the world. They have no type of structure, they lied about work your own pace that is the biggest lie in the world you are required to submit 3-4 assignment a week. An if you don't they call your parents and make a big deal of if you don't submit 3-4 assignments a week you will fail the whole class. They don't value your time like when you set up DBA'S they either call you late or when you call them they don't answer the phones. When every I emailed, or called my teacher never she really responded, and she did it would 3 or 4 days later and that can be frustrating if you are trying to submit an assignment. I have recently took American government and I got an amazing teacher who didi know what he was doing and helped me complete the course. But I also decided to take an economics coarse and the teacher was horrible. I have never had to submit and assignment 7 times because they couldn't open it. I have mac book air the one that just came out in 2015 and it has submitted assignments just fine till i start dealing with this class. Flvs need to really think about who they are hiring to teach students who enjoy school. I am just saying if you want to stay stress free and not ruin your GPA I would suggests that you stay away from FLVS.

I am an honors student and recently got kicked out of my online course (without being informed) because I didn't submit enough assignments per week. I contacted the teacher and told her about out internet issues and how I would be sure to submit when I can, but she kept me kicked me out of the course anyway. If you foresee any sort of issues to where at one point (even 6 assignments away from finishing the course) you think you may have issues to where you cant submit, DON'T DO FLVS. I don't even have a chance at graduating with honors due to a soon to be F (I had an A in the course) on my transcript because of internet issues.

I am an 11th grader, and Im honestly fed up with this flvs. Sometimes i want to cry. The assignments are not so hard but they are wayyyyy to long, when u have to submit 2 assignments for each class a day and you have 6 classes. it gets so stressful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and when you are done with your work and having nothing to do, you'll just get bored to death, but that is my opinion some people are different. i do not want to graduate on this thing i think i might need thicker glasses by the time i graduate.. btw google is my bestfriend..

I have my two girls 5th and 6th grade in FLVS . We love it . The teachers are amazing. Very supportive . Tons of resources . My daughter has a tough time in Math and it's no problem to schedule a 1 on 1 live lesson with teacher. No bullying . No fights. No nasty school food. No bus problems . I'm shocked that this has a low rating . The platform is amazing. If you have technology issues that is not the school fault . Love Love Love.

I was in the hospital for a few weeks.. And I was already off pace beforehand due to extreme stress with this class and my regular high level classes I take at my public highschool.. I am about done with segment one and am almost to the 18 week mark.. I was wondering if could finish the first segment and get half of the math credit.. And then take the second half of the class with a new class and get the other half of the credit? Is that possible ?

Flvs is a good school. some people might not like it because they might find it hard to be independent on mostly they're own. but since I'm independent and like working alone I enjoy it. it might be stressful sometimes when you get off task. you might end up getting a little behind sometimes which might be stressful but if your able to make a schedule and be organized during the week it's fine. also, you can take as many classes as you want so you don't get overwhelmed, although, that might leave you a little behind too. it all depends lol

I enjoy taking FLVS. Some of you just complain that just means its not for you but to be honest complaining won't get you anywhere. Just take your time relax and before you know it time will come for you to be done. I take the History course I am doing part time because I still go to Satellite High School. The only reason I took a star away was because, My History teacher has not been staying in contact with me and has not graded my assignments and I only have one left. But other than that I enjoy it and do fast pace.

At the start of FLVS, I have to admit that I was a wreck, but for any failing students with these courses, trust me, you missing one thing, always TAKE NOTES, its so helpful, people just go to the quizzes and use the lessons in the other tab, this DOES NOT HELP, I can guarantee you, that with your notes, you will PASS, and when it comes to a DBA, even if your not retaining the information that well, use GOOGLE/Public Services like youtube informational videos, its virtual school, THINK, you got this!!

Edit: Just to clarify, i did NOT mean use google/public services during DBA s, I meant if you failed one or are preparing for one, all of us learn in many ways and sometimes need a more simple/different understanding on things, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT, cheat on DBA s, your not going to learn properly

The reason they have such a plagiarism and cheatin...

The reason they have such a plagiarism and cheating problem is because the assignments are not testing what is taught in the lessons, most of the tests have at least one question that requires an incorrect answer, and the lessons are just terrible at explaining the subjects so you have to re-learn every subject while on the test which makes it almost impossible not to cheat.
The amount of work also makes it impossible to pass without speeding through some assignments or sacrificing all of your free time.

I can guarantee with absolute certainty that 99% of the students who passed the class, have a happy life with a healthy amount of free time, and didn't end up getting sympathy grades from their teachers- ended up cheating on half of the assignments

This would all be fixed if the owners of the school would just put the effort into it that any good website/school needs

(also whoever upkeeps the links and makes sure the homepages are easy to navigate isn't doing the greatest job and the mobile website doesn't function in the slightest)

5 stars because it's such a good GPA booster and Ms. Nordgren and Ms. Morera were great

I love flvs. I have been attending for more than three years. It has been great to finish my class work early and have time for sports and other extracurricular activities. The teachers are very patient and helpful. It takes a lot of dedication to do any type of homeschool.

Flvs Sucks!! Do not ever put yourself in this demonic "system" they call "school" the teachers SUCK and the lessons do not teacher you anything. The lessons tell you things that arent even on the test and the "teachers" don't help at all. I won't recommend signing up even my worst enemy for FLVS. It's stressful and I haven't lost so much hair in years. They say work at your own pace but then they give you a certain amount of assignments you have to do every week and then when you don't do them they threaten you and try to kick you out the course. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS COURSE!! Im dropping out ASAP. I wish they had a 0 rating because im not satisfied with the 1.

I took 6 FLVS courses my 6th grade year and it was a little hard but not impossible. Im currently taking geometry with Mrs.Million on FLVS and I'm doing great. Mrs. Million is extremely helpful and her response time is the quickest I've experienced yet. She has truly made my online experience great and has motivated me to take a couple more courses online. My friends thought i was crazy for taking a math class online but i don't regret it at all. Mrs. Million is a better teacher than most of the teachers at my school lol FLVS is a great thing but just like everything else you have to work for it. Don't expect to be chilling everyday and have straight A's in all your classes

Teachers are rude at least the one I had. I strongly dislike how it is at your pace especially if you are unmotivated. Definitely will not take another online class maybe if I got another teacher that is more understanding. Also, mine doesn't not respond within 24 hours to a text or call.

Mr. Gaines,

Mr. Gaines,

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with Mr. Larry my son Hayden's FLVS teacher. He made it such an exciting class as well as keeping me posted on Hayden's progress. It was a joy for Hayden to be in his class. It is always a pleasure to have teachers that take so much pride and care in the education of our children. Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Richard Johnson

This online school is horrible. I advise all seniors who are trying to finish a class not to take any on this website. The techer for the world history class that i was taking was rude and was very unhelpful. Also some of the teachers were very unprofessional. They dont pick up when you call them and they are always on some type of vacation. My experience with FLVS was really disappointing. I advise no one to take world history online.
