Very general an airport, the impression is not deep.

Very big airport, check in could be better, too many people waiting for check in. Little unorganized. Other than that all good.

Baggage delivery times, as always, a bit long. Otherwise OK.

Small but fine.Essen in marche top large Auswal. At the seats in the terminal the cans are missing to load electrical equipment.

Eat ok and clearly laid out, but the prices for ne buddl water are too high!

The airport in itself is quite nice. Since it was busy, they once allowed me to use the fast lane. However some of their staff have a rather strange sense of humour. I was told that I had not paid for my luggage which was not true and the person behind the counter knew it. Might be a Hamburg thing. The amount of restaurants after security is rather limited.

Positive is the Edeka on the ground, but the security control is extremely slow, sanitary facilities have 1970s level, staff at the gate / security is unfriendly, nelligentz and unmotivated, if I did not have to work here often, I would take the train.

I would describe Hamburg Airport as functional. You get what you need here, but nothing more. The waiting times at the security check are around 10 minutes and the process is orderly. The staff are nice and correct too. There are two water dispensers and these infection agents in the sanitary facilities. A grand piano to play music and a couple of massage stations (10 min = 15 euros).

Valet parking is a cheek!
I reserved a parking space online and paid with a credit card.
Unfortunately neither the number plate recognition nor the QR code nor the information button worked. So I had to park in another parking lot and pay another EUR 54 for the EUR 31 I had already paid. In response to my complaint, "KULANZ" was made up to a total of approx. EUR 14 to be reimbursed.
I have never seen such insolence.
I can only advise everyone not to make a prepayment / reservation. In the event of a complaint, your money is gone!

We traveled as a family. Check-in staff very slow and overwhelmed. Look haphazard. Security extremely unfriendly and arrogant! Never again....

I've only had good experiences with this airport so far. The route network is good, but can still be expanded well from an intercontinental perspective. I would fly again and again from Hamburg!

Very clearly arranged and very clean. It is very easy to find one's way around.

The return of luggage at this airport always takes a particularly long time. For whatever reason!

Every time the same thing, we land, it takes forever for the door to open and again today we waited an hour for the suitcases and missed the train.

Hamburg Airport should actually pay the taxi costs!

Classic German airport. Not too big for the size of the city. Easy and fast access from the center of Hamburg with s Hahn for about 3. Too fast free WiFi. The snacks and drinks they sell there are very expensive. Water 0.5lt 3.30 !!!. Cold sandwich 5 . Barrel beer 0.5ml 5+ .

Since only visiting the viewing platform, I can't say much except: clear and clean.

Very disciplined airport staff with regard to Corona. Very high security precautions and security staff as before. That is a good thing!

Cool airport. From the prices as at any other airport, but otherwise everything was fine

Nice welcome people, but....... you arrive from gate A39 at 10:30 am circa on 20th of june 2018 for a connection to another flight, with little kid that need a toilet, we found a small toilet and really dirty and stinky.....we checked another one same disaster..... no indications of toilets for families with small kids.....

2 hours wait for the suitcase, because you can ever clap ....

The airport with the worst baggage claim I've ever experienced.
Incapable is still flattered.
No matter when you arrive, no matter where and no matter how big the machine is, it takes 45 minutes to get your luggage.

Hanover remains my favorite, just a lot more relaxed, because you can unload your suitcases with the family directly on the upper level and then drive into the parking garage. HH the parking spaces are much too expensive! When trying to reserve a cheaper parking space 7 months before departure, everything should already be occupied!?! If you only want to pick up someone, you will only find bollards and political fairs on the lower level.
Yesterday I received a guest from Canada, whom I had to wait 5 minutes because the processing took so long again. This time I was on the upper level. After 2 minutes I was asked to drive my car away, otherwise I would have to write it down. I was then always able to drive in a circle in an environmentally friendly way, like so many others, because you can't understand the high short-term parking fees! It is a disaster!

HH-Airport - for me only in an emergency, because I cannot use Hamburg's public transport.

Good Connectivity by train .. no need to take a taxi from here or to get here

The arrival of my mother was shown in Terminal 2, in fact she arrived in Terminal 1, then the pay machines are defective and the service is incredibly bad

Hamburg Airport now looks shabby. Almost all shops are closed. The dealers were in such a hurry that they even forgot to remove the "We're open" sign. The toilets look awful. Even the DB train stations have better toilets.

Always like to fly from Hamburg. Good public transport connections, very clear, enough parking spaces (unfortunately only expensive, as with any major airport).

Update: there were 4 stars, but not even a value! Waited 45 minutes for the luggage for a flight that only takes one hour. So the staff do not do anything if they do not strike !! How does it work??

Way too small airport for a cosmopolitan city like Hamburg. The security check, however, is quite fast, even if there is a lot of pressure, unless it is again time for more money, rarely stood more than half an hour. At the gates it sometimes looks different. Here, delays or gate changes announced very late and the employees of the orderly entry does not matter, it is not the slightest effort to keep a line, most would like a bunch of people seen ... otherwise very clean, unfortunately not so many dining options.

A nice airport. Employees are friendly, but unfortunately mistakes often happen. Would be great if you had a big clock at the airport.

Get outside position, wait 30 minutes for the bus. Once again. Hamburg has the worst service!

Small but nice airport with good selection of shops

For the size, a very well organized airport, with relatively short distances to the plane. Numerous shops offer plenty of opportunities for pastime. The only "negative point": The bus transfers take forever and the buses are not always ready for boarding. The drivers are very nice for that.

The staff should be fully trained in terms of sensitivity, it just doesn't get any worse.
You wait for your luggage on arrival, disaster, disaster

Landed with Air Berlin on June 28 at 12:10 pm. First there was no TREPPE (snorkels are under renovation) then only one and only one bus. We had to wait for the second ride. The first luggage finally arrived at 12:55. We finally had our 2 suitcases at 1:15 pm. Only the car park company was happy about the high parking fee for our pickup. Service is different !!!!!!!

From the holiday of Mallorca get the luggage quickly and do not wait long

One of the worst airports in Europe in terms of delivery of luggage. The waiting times are insanely long. And it's not even that busy. Fault of airport management to not properly staff and Run this airport.
Oh. Did I mention that waiting times at security check is similarly at bottom quartile?

Aeroflot is just a nightmare !! Write down immediately the arrival time two hours later if you can neither calculate the correct arrival time nor baggage on time. People are waiting for an hour waiting for suitcases !!! Cool also lost luggage .. this is not the first time and not funny !!

Waited again for over an hour in front of the baggage claim. In the last few years you have noticed that more and more savings are being made on staff.

As a customer you are sent from counter to counter, everyone says something different.

All boarding card scanners before the security check were suddenly defective, but a moderately motivated employee checked QR codes with the naked eye, ... On the whole, an unorganized picture and only moderately interested in customer service remained.

Took the train u1, it goes straight to the airport, be sure to be on the first 3 train cars, as it splits up. Easy check with Airberlin, clean n open space. Of course a bottle of water cost 3.25 euro, but that is no surprise! Go for it!

I had to wait 40 minutes for my luggage on a Friday noon. My driver had to wait for me for an eternity. It really doesn't have to be, I've never seen it anywhere else.

We took a little bike trip to the airport and got goose bumps. Empty, the parking lots, the hall. Terrifying what such a small invisible virus can do. I don't know who else knows the movie from the 70s, the Omega man. I immediately thought of this film. We will not let this NUDE CRIES finish us down, and we have the future in mind, learn from it.

We are on 10.9. 17 flown to Dubrovnik at 6:05 a.m. The check-in / check-in was a disaster! Even though we were at the airport 2 (two) hours earlier, there was already a long queue in which the passengers had to go through a lock for four flights. We had to wait more than an hour to get close to the counter and the traffic behind us once went through the hall. Service is different! After landing a week later, we were on the plane for 20 minutes and waited for the bus. If possible, we will avoid Hamburg Airport in the future.

The Hamburg airport is always worth a trip, it offers a certain selection of flights to the northern and eastern parts of Europe and what you can hear it is well visited ... As you can get there with a rental car or a taxi The Hanseatic city of Hamburg, a little further away, is where you can see the silhouette of the city on the way there. The most beautiful thing about the Hanseatic city of Hamburg is not only the famous fish market or the Speicherstadt but also the extensive network of canals that criss-cross the Speicherstadt and experience it you get history on the ground where you get a lot and good ... The Hanseatic City of Hamburg is also known for its musicals that are offered here and that is worth the trip!

Catastrophic conditions in the baggage claim. Hundreds of misdirected suitcases parked between the lines in front of the stand for these cases. Exactly this tape was used to handle two flights simultaneously. From Palma and Dubai, around 700 people stalked between these cases (photo) to take their bags off the assembly line. The suitcases from Palma and Dubai came mixed and always with breaks on the tape. Landing from Dubai at 7.45 p.m., suitcases received at 9:09 p.m. (Photo) .... and it wasn't the last suitcase from Dubai. Baggage handling is clearly overwhelmed during the holiday season.

Most of the controls are very nice, humane ... Only some passengers keep the process useless.

Not a world airport, but you can get there easily and cheaply with the S-Bahn. From check-in and security checks to entry everything is fast and friendly. You can fly into the world with Emirates via Dubai or fly with other airlines to intersected destinations within Europe and the Canary Islands.

Never fly from Hamburg, if you can avoid it! Repeatedly made extremely bad experience!
Unorganized process, no structure, long queues, unfriendly staff - especially at the security check.
Other airports are much better organized !!!

You pretend to be a 'big' airport, but for months it has not been possible to provide enough buses to transport passengers to or from the plane. At no provincial airport, however small, no matter in which country or continent, I have never experienced anything like it. I praise myself for BER - at least you know what to expect or not!

Open to the world, like Hamburg, and well organized! Greetings. from the sister city of Berlin!
