Solo my private pilot license here . This is a special place for me . great services , friendly FAA employees .but limited on activities and entertainment .

Did a load of skydiving here, met some great people and had a fantastic time

Great little GA airport. The tower staff are ridiculously overworked by the Embry-Riddle students coming there, but do amazing work getting the planes in. Its worth the effort however. Nice little restaurant with your basic sandwiches and burgers. Good.place for kids, hanger rats , and old coots to plane watch. Airport is a nice simple layout, runways are decenly long, and in fairly good shape. Fuel prices are in the good range for the area, and the airport is a short ride to local beaches and attractions.

Attended the airport meetings along with other residents explaining our concerns about the noise and safety issues with the flight schools that operate from the airport. They told us there was nothing they could do for us and one of the flight school operators actually laughed at us while we were expressing our concerns. These flight schools operate day and night seven days a week and on holidays, even Easter Sunday, performing touch and go operations which produces laud obnoxious noise continuously so that you can't hear your television or have a conversation in your own home. They are not an executive airport, they are a flight school airport. We will continue our fight against the airport and the flight schools that operate there. The county commissioners meeting is our next step in controlling this outrageous disrespect for the residents of Flagler County.

It's NOT a private airport, it's supposed to be a general airport, and it's called a PUBLIC OWNED AIRPORT, but 90% of the business is flight schools, it's destroying the residents surrounding the PALM COAST airport, they USE a bunnell address for some reason; Many of us are working to get County Commission to enforce laws here .

FBO took my cowlings off pulled my starter, took it apart and replaced the shear pin in the gear, put it all back together installed it on the plane and put my cowlungs back on all for the grand total of $75 they were incredible all that on a late Friday afternoon I was brought to the front of the line fixed and sent on my way.

Quick stop for lunch and fuel. Competetive fuel, great staff and good food.
