Walking brew tour. Ray was great. Would recommend!!

Just got back from Baja Wine Country tour. Atala was AMAZING! Such a great tour guide so sweet, thoughtful, patient and informative. We loved her! Highly recommend any tours where she is the guide!!

My husband and I ride the diesel powered Five Star Toursn today. What a delight ! We rode in the cab with the engineer and I rode in the coaches and open gondola. It was beautiful and fun.

Ripoff. I am sitting in front of their office with my children waiting to be picked up for our prepaid trip to Disneyland. They where supposed to be here 45 minutes ago !
Last night their General manager emailed me twice confirming this trip. This morning no response to emails, phone calls or texts. I paid twice normal price for tickets to only watch my children crying because they were not going to be able to go to Disneyland because of this company. Be very careful booking the San Diego Zoo with transportation with your trip. Make sure you call this company before booking it. They do not pick up from major hotel chains like the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa and If they do not pick up from your motel you do not have entrance tickets to the zoo

I booked a charter bus for my brothers wedding and everything went prefect. The sales team did their best to accommodate my request. I was very please with the bus and the driver. I would highly recommend them for charter services.

Horrible customer service, no parking and an absolute waste of money. Don t take your business here, you will get ripped off.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a last minute trip to big bear with five stars tours in march, I called to see if I could change the date and was unable to. I never mentioned cancelling, the after hours customer service never mentioned cancelling. I show up in the morning to catch my bus and it never shows up. So it's now almost July and I'm still trying to get my money back for services that were never rendered. Also, every time I call them, they hang up on me or tell me a manager will be in touch later. I cant reach them via email either. Basically they took my money, didn't pick me up and are telling me to pound sand.
Worst. Company. Ever.

I was a bit concerned about booking a limo bus for the Depeche Mode Concert 09/13 after reading the negative reviews. I went to their office in the SD Train Station to pay the balance due just so I could see/meet the peeps there. There were no issues with dropping off the payment and Alfonso & Crew were very helpful and patient in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. We received an email the day of the concert with the driver's contact info/Jorge and another confirmation of pick-up location and time.
Jorge showed up on time and limo bus was in great condition. He drove us to the concert and kept all the people that kept trying to board our bus to use the restroom or to 'hang out' off so we didn't have to mess with them. He hung out there while we had a blast at the concert and then drove everyone back to our 3 drop-off locations while accommodating multiple requests for the music/lights/etc.
Will not hesitate to use their services again for upcoming events.

There was nothing grand about the Grand Baja Tour. Here are some of the letdowns:

1. It was advertised as a 10-hour Mexico tour. We were picked up at 9:00 a.m. Dropped off slightly past 4:00 p.m. Only 7 hours.

2. Our second stop was the very rundown Rosarito Beach Hotel. We were left there by ourselves for 1.5 hours. There was absolutely nothing to do there. I can understand if it was the last stop, as in the itinerary, since people tend to get tired toward the end of a tour. But the second stop? For 1.5 hours to do nothing? It was complete pointless and a waste of time.

3. It was advertised as a cultural sightseeing tour with stops at the Cultural Center, the Tijuana Bullring, the Tijuana Zoo, the Tijuana Tower and shopping along Avenida Revolucion. No, we DID NOT stop at the Cultural Center, the Tijuana Bullring, the Tijuana Zoo, or the Tijuana Tower. We DID NOT shop along the Avenida Revolucion. We drove by these places in a crowded and stuffy van. Our feet never touched the ground of Tijuana, but the driver told us, "Now you can tell your friends you've been there!"

The Grand Baja Tour is a grand rip-off and a huge disappointment. I want a refund.

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a travel company. They cancelled our tour the day before VIA EMAIL!!! The supervisor is completely incompetent....no people skills whatsoever. Even though it said to check in at 8:45....she didn t even show up until 8:52. She simply dismissed our situation and stated that she emailed us the afternoon before and that we would have to contact veltra to get our refund. Please do not book through this company.. completely unprofessional. Don t let a similar situation happen to you.

We got RIPPED OFF for Christmas IT WAS A JOKE - we took a San Diego Holiday Lights Tour for 2 hours for $73.56 - we were supposed to have some wine and cheese and we had a pack of mini cupcakes to share. We thought we were going to upscale neighborhoods, but instead we went to 2 neighborhoods that were maybe a football field long that were decorated like something out of the movie Vacation...a cluster of blow up characters and lights. Actually seeing the 2 neighborhoods took 10-15 minutes each, the rest of the 2.5 hours was driving to pick up others for the group at another location and getting to the neighborhoods! What a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

We are currently at our hotel waiting!! No one from the tour company is answering the phone! We have transportation and tickets to San Diego Zoo. We purchased through southwest! Southwest said they wouldn t help us! We confirmed with them yesterday and were told tickets would be emailed to us! We never received tickets and no one answers the phone either! Unbelievable!

We took a San Diego City Tour during a recent visit. We were amazed by how much we saw. The tour gave us a number of stops that permitted some time to wander around a little. We stopped at Hotel Coronado and saw the beach, saw the seals in La Jolla, and bought handmade tacos in Old Town. We had a wonderful driver and guide, Ana, who was very knowledgeable about the local history. It was a clean sprinter, a safe driver, and a comprehensive tour of a beautiful city. Highly recommend.

We had a Pizza/Walking brewery tour scheduled and received a confirmation e-mail the afternoon before. That evening, received a voicemail the tour was cancelled. Called back immediately to reschedule and spoke with a woman at Five Star Tours. She stated she would call us back in 10 minutes to reschedule. Call was never returned.

Later that evening I called and e-mailed Five Star Tours asking to reschedule or status of a refund. Call or e-mail was never returned.

Four days later, after I am no longer in San Diego, I messaged the company on their website. A few hours later I get a reply from Alfonso Hernandez that they will give a refund if I take down a negative review my girlfriend completed. Filed a complaint with the BBB and will not be "threatened" to take down truthful negative reviews.

Had a very nice trip to Temecula wine region with 5 star company. Don't give it 5 stars only because during the booking online they didn't mention the tips to bartenders and the driver were not included in the price of the tour. They only gave this info after I booked the tour, so the price was actually higher that advertised. Overall the tour was very good, on time, informative, excellent lunch in the restaurant at one of the wineries, even though there were just the 2 of us, the tour took place as scheduled, so it was basically a private tour. At the last winery the Calloway we were given a detailed tour of their facilities. Would definitely recommend taking this tour to anybody interested in exotic wines testing. The wines of Temecula are available only by mail or locally.

I chartered a bus with Five Star Tours. They had great service and very responsive to my needs. I used them for a special event in San Diego. The bus was on time and the driver was very professional. The driver was quick and sharp and knew the area very well. The office staff was great. I would highly recommend them for any special event transportation.
