First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Customer service was helpful but the bad side is when checking in took a Long time queue was long only 3 counters was open when I reach there on 26 nov ( if not mistaken from counter 5 to 12 ) at one time there was a counter where the customer was helping this friend to check in ( 2 families) although his had finished checking in, I felt this practice should stop at checking in counters as everyone was lining up to check in also (530am to 600am) I waited nearly 1 1/2 hour to check in thank you

The fan dirty, when open speed 3, the dirty fly to my bed. // The TV channel no so must of choice such as Astro.

Oh it's cheap, it's so cheap that people line up to stay in it, and it really does feel cheap and looks cheap you will KNOW it's cheap even if you are not the one paying for it.

The room is very very small and the toilet is EVEN smaller. Imagine you are in a prison in a third world country, then imagine that it is even smaller than that. OK you'll get the image.

Now they are careful for the safety of the customer.

Its good but not so as i feel they could do better. Like give a proper reason to why the tub water is green?!? They told me say its normal?!? When checking into a new room the floors always dusty(must be unlucky or something) (wood floor) unless its carpet floor room. But then they do help to clean the floor when asked. I am so happy that first world hotel reduced the cable car fee ty first world for making it cheaper to go down. I visit first world every year and its been very long the renovation hope to see the outdoor renovation to be done by this year and not draged to next year again :/ Hope the price for the rooms here would not jack up in price so much after the outdoor renovation is done as it will make my family and friends think twice before going again to gamble and enjoy whats to be offered up here. Really love this place tho i complain alot. Hope to come again next year :)

The room is small and they didn't provide complete toiletries. Check-in counter only 3 open but they do have self-checkin machines but it is not working for my IC. They don't clean the room properly as I found kid shoes under my bed.

Huge hotel. Great lobby. Self-service driven. Didn't stay - so don't know about the rooms.

Make no mistake, this is the world's largest hotel but it's also a budget hotel by today's standards. They've nailed all windows at the lift lobby and walkway shut and that's not a great idea for a hotel with no AC.

So feel free to book a room here but manage your expectations

The room light is deem, there is no free WIFI. Also the pillow is thin and too soft.

Many people have to sit on the lobby floor to wait for checking in room.

Lots and lots of people, not much to do here. People come for genting highland.

Location is much easily accessible then a few years back. Standard room is relative small with no amenities.

Never forget this hotel.iwill go another time with my kids

My sister booked a room for 4 nights in Tower 4 Rm 4879.our of the 4 nights, we have to make 2 separate trips to the reception counter 1 because she was locked out of the room.
Readings given to us was we did not pay our government tax of $10/- each per night of ethnic we were very sure we made upon arrival.
This happened on the third night and last night of her stay.
I had to walked all the way with her to the reception counter every night for the same trouble and it really tired us out
especially when we have spent long hours at the casinos.
What we could not understand was that how was it that the recently did not do the processing for the whole 4 nights and repeatedly locked us out of the room. This really made us feel very tortured.

Good location to stay at FWH for dinning, shopping and lastly, the gaming at the sky casino.

No more toothbrush and slippers, was surprised when called and mentioned we need to pay for it.

Stayed in y5 room. The wall behind the bed may not be cleaned in a month. If you lying in the bed and look up the wall behind it, you can see dust. A lot of it.

Rooms and staff are good and helpful. Quite a language barrier as they don't speak English very well. Otherwise well equipped with good services round the clock.

The hotel staff quite nice. Near the casino too. Will visit again

Clean toilet and shower with mountain view. Small and basic but had 4 pillows, comfortable bed and hot shower. Better experience than previous stay that had creaking bed.

No Wi-Fi in the room? What century are we living in...

Does not deserve even one star. Hotel lobby looks like a bus or railway station, no nice restaurant, and the overall upkeep is poor.

The filling of the breads is too sweet. Won't buy again

Give no attention to booking details. My family was assigned to a room (which allows smoking) located next to the lift. There is no minibar and kettle in the room. Do Not take the risk unless everywhere else is fully booked.

Checking in and out of the hotel with the machines were extremely easy and user-friendly. Location is great as everything is very accessible from the hotel and the view from our room was good too. Early check in is possible with just a payment of 5RM more.

Toilet was extremely tiny, felt as though they had to squeeze out a space from the floor plan just to fit a passable toilet into the room.

A small, cozy place to stay overnight. Some rooms have nice view and will definitely recommend the mountain view because it s just so pretty and it feels so fresh and relaxing when you open your window! But one thing I didn t like was the service of this hotel, I know this is a self-service hotel because we basically have to do everything by ourself but when I asked for a room change, it took me almost an hour to request for it even though the queue wasn t that long. There were only 3 people in the reception while a lot more counters are empty.

Superior Room look very old especially the toilet ! Light in room not bright enough !

A famous place for gambling. There is indoor and outdoor theme park. There r varirty of outlets too.

Had a good one day stay at the hotel... very clean and well equipped rooms... no need to stand in que for checkin or checkout.. kiosks are available for fast self checkin.. assisted counter checkin available at an extra cost of RM15..

Rooms have an overhang of oil smell, although it was relatively clean. Bed was in need of a change as the springs in the mattress was bouncy

Located atop a hilltop the view is enchanting.Its a mini city inside the main complex.You will get everything from casinos to amusement parks to game parlours to food courts...A fun place to spend 3- 4 hrs or even more if plan to check out each and everything.Its boasts of having the largest hotel in the world with around 7k plus rooms.

first world hotel gas many rooms and is considered the largest hotel in the world. however its rooms are very small and only contains necessary things. my room did not include toothbrush toothpaste etc. the checking in is considered quite slow and i waited for about 30 to 45 mins to check in.

The beds were harder than normal, there was no WiFi in rooms at tower 1 and 2 and only avaliable at tower 3. Genting Internet only avaliable at free WiFi places such as Starbucks. If you plan to get data from sim cards, it will be slow in hotel rooms (H+) but fast in the lobby (4G). Check-in can be done at self-help stations (need to scan passport) and checking-out is only depositing the room cards into a machine. Hot water and room temperature water avaliable outside of the rooms. Towels available but the soap they provide is the 3-in-1 soap (body wash, shampoo and conditioner). No toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Only few levels designated as non-smoking levels. They have USB connections for charging of phones. Overall experience was good.

Good services in general. Comfortable beds and convenient toilets. But smoking regulations could be more strict.

Food and goods was expensive. Better buy your own before going up, Weather was good cool. Unless u gambler u can go casino there have theme park for kids also. Quite expensive also

World largest hotel. Best to opt for superior deluxe or world club room
