Love it! One of the few places that provide the same treatment to families with small children. The food as always is beyond compare!!!

Wonderful experience, great food and excellent service. Make reservations I highly recommend the igloos. Waygu steak was delicious, and the Pappardelle was so tasty. Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time.

I was walking by as the waiter passed with the seafood tower, and I stopped in my tracks. I called the host over, he greeted me, then he directed me to the door, the rest is history. It was well worth every dollar, an I encourage any and all to experience an enjoy The Fantastic Fiola Mare!

This is my favorite restaurant in DC! The service is always excellent- Alex is my favorite waiter. The drinks, seafood, and pastas are delicious and well plated. The desserts are amazing.

Exceptional service above and beyond. Pricey but worth celebrating special occasions. The seafood is phenomenal! Tiger prawns, halibut, sashimi, oysters, and lobster ravioli are top notch. We certainly enjoyed our anniversary here. They made it very special.

The restaurant is beautiful and the services was very good, the food was just okay. We had apps entree and dessert couple bottles of wine cappuccinos and port and we all left hungry. Not what you expect at an Italian restaurant. Don't get me wrong the food wasn't bad just nothing special and very small portions

Pricey but fantastic. The food is great, and the desserts are even better. Do not miss the Neapolitan dessert at any cost - it is one of the best you will have absolutely anywhere.

Cannot think of a better place to wait out a freak 'DC-spring' thunder storm...! ;-) Top-notch service, great Georgetown harbour views, and the freshest seafood in town! Recommend relaxing with your negroni in-hand and the "log-board" (yes, it's a cut log) of fresh seafood charcuterie in front of you -- perfetto. Grazie mille, Chef Fabio Trabocchi!

The tasting menu gives you a great opportunity to try a variety of offerings without going totally overboard. The service staff is truly exceptional and has always impressed me with their quality over the years.

Excellent! Whenever I am having a bad day, I head to Fiola Mare and enjoy a tuna tar tar and a glass of wine. Perfect for a date or dinner. lovely space with an impressive wine menu. Reservations for dinner strongly suggested.

Took my wife here for her 40th birthday. Definitely one of the more expensive restaurants (per dish) but it s worth it.

My mezcal cocktail had real smoke coming out of it which enhanced the drink. My wife s sake inspired cocktail was light and refreshing on a very muggy July day.

The oysters are always better at Old Ebbitt Grill but the ones here were fresh and briny. My dish was a little disappointing as I thought the seafood was a bit over cooked. But my wife loved her lobster ravioli.

They gave us grilled squid on the house which was awesome. The star of the show were the BOMBOLINIS. Simply amazing. The service is top notch and you will see some famous Washingtonians when you go.

One of my favorite places to dine at, unfortunately since this virus been going around, can't dine in here and it's so sad. Now I have to order in for the time being.

The Igloo dining was a great experience. My family felt very safe throughout the meal because everyone was very careful about following the social distancing guidelines. The Igloo was setup very tastefully, and comfortably. We were right beside the river, And service and food were excellent. Great experience throughout.

The lobster ravioli is to die for. There is tons of lobster, and the sauce is perfect for dipping bread into!

Top notch place in Georgetown Water Front .. Great food !! Try the seafood platter .. Amazing

I am from out of town and The hostess never made us aware of the new law which requires you to order a meal to legally stay at the restaurant...I guess a $35, 6oz glass of wine doesn t count. We ordered a side dish which was $12 on the menu but ended up being $15 (before tax) on the bill. This is not so much about the price, but the principle of the situation.

Went to fiola mare for the birthday of a relative, and ordered the 6oz wagyu. At a high pricepoint but the food was well worth it. I ordered my steak rare and would recommend others to follow suit. Others at my table ordered grilled octopus and (muranda?) cheese for appetizers which I sampled, both were very good, our waiter(Alex) told us that the octopus is more firm than other restaurants but was still great. He was very knowledgeable of every dish in the restaurant and spoke highly of them. Portions are small but that's expected of a restaurant like this. Overall 5/5 and might come back again.

Haven't been here since before the pandemic, but hoping to go back after we get vaccinated. I think they have little tents you can dine in which look great too. Their food was excellent and the customer service was above and beyond. Very creative meal presentations and flavour combinations. Always was a memorable experience.

I love this place, It was my first time. Everything was fantastic I had a great time there I enjoy with wonderful service, amazing view and sea food was the best part. I want to come back soon.

Had a great time. I was stuffed. The seafood grill and prime rib was very good and so was the desserts. Service was pretty good. The ceviche was a nice surprise.

Each of our dinners at Fiola Mare has been outstanding. The food and service have been consistently excellent. A couple of the wonderful dishes that we've enjoyed have been the grilled calamari and lobster ravioli. The wine list is very good, and the sommelier has always given us superb recommendations. Save room for the delicious desserts. The "chocolate bar" is particularly delightful.

A very upscale locale known in DC for hosting A list celebrities and politicians by the Georgetown waterfront. The portions are on the smaller side for the price, however the ingredients are very high quality. An average dinner may be around 50$+ per person. Excellent service.

The view! The staff! The food! The service! The food!....Yes, all of these are my favorite things! We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary outside, next to the Potomac, and it was remarkable. We felt like and were treated like celebs! Nicest people, best food, romantic atmosphere, and the owners sent a congratulations and thank you card. We are already planning to return next year:)

Great seafood restaurant at Washington Harbor -- nice atmosphere and everything tasted good. We celebrated a birthday and tried the grilled calamari, merluza, octopus tagliatelle, among others. The cocktails and dessert were excellent as well. Need to make reservation and valet parking is $16.

The waiting staff were great. The food broadly very good. My seafood and pasta was a little too salty, but tuna was great , soft shelled crab apendis, and my 4 yr olds pasta and cheese sublime.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The first time for a lunch set which was pretty good. The second time was for dinner which was not that impressive. But still, I wanted to give it a try for one last time because I liked its atmosphere. So we went for dinner which turned out very disappointing. What we ordered that day, I found it too overpriced compared to the quality. I don't mind the price if the food tastes good. So, I have to say good bye to this place.

I was at the restaurant for a friend's birthday recently. Not one entree on the menu for a Vegetarian. Why - this is 2017 after all. I asked server if she could suggest anything for a vegetarian entree and she pointed out one of the salads. Asking if it could be made as an entree, she said it was really a side salad. Not wanting to make a fuss at a birthday celebration, I ordered 3 of the sides. The sides were nothing special and to top it off, they came separately in those foolish containers. I had my entree in 3 separate containers. Really?? Amateurs!!

This restaurant is exquisite. The food is special, and the servers are experienced. In fact, I have enjoyed all the restaurants by these owners.

The best cocktails I have ever had and the atmosphere is always pleasant and relaxing with a spacious bar area that allows you to look out over the Potomac and watch planes fly into Reagan National. Even if you're not a millionaire, they make you feel like one!

After coming here last year for my 40th birthday with friends, my young wife insisted that we come back this year for her 40th birthday brunch. Just by chance we were given the same superb table. It's difficult to overstate the quality of the service. It ranged from merely intuitive to basically psychic. Every few moments, the staff invented a new way to bring magic into the celebration. Our head waiter felt like an invited friend.

Frankly, it seemed too inexpensive. What am I? A sultan? the food was overwhelmingly beautiful and sumptuous. Tremendous. it's the sort of place you go where you want to have an unforgettable experience. I can only chance to hope that I would haunt this restaurant often enough that those meals would somehow 'blend together' in my memory.

Atmosphere is nice, but you come for the food and it is amazing. The squid was perfectly prepared, and the seabass was excellent.

I have never eaten a more beautiful dinner. Try their speciality cocktail, and the burrata as an appetizer. Amazing pasta and steak. Lots of people celebrate their birthdays here, and the staff is extra attentive and hospitable. The wine selections are massive as well! Carefully plan your visit, you'll really enjoy!

This place is amazing for any occasion! Yesterday my friend got engaged at Fiola Mare, and I couldn't be happier for her. Everything was just perfect, from A to Z. The food, service, people who work there, atmosphere, ambiance and design of the place. Special thank you to Mrs.Courtney Anderson, she was amazing. I called the restaurant that day to let them know we wanted to have a surprise engagement and she helped us arrange everything. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in DC!!! We will be back :)

There are no public restrooms in the Georgetown Waterfront. Fiola Mare Manager would not let my 4 year old son use the restroom when he urgently needed to go. Unbelievable! As Michelin Star restaurant there is no excuse to treat people who are repeated customers or any person, especially kids, horribly. Shame on you!

Superb attention to detail from the service to the meal. Fish is done to perfection with touches that bring out its full flavor.
