I ordered their hoppy pilsner. I wish they had some to-go. Bartender/Megan's service was definition excellence. Attentive and intuitive on timing. She was able to recommend a flight based on preference. I ordered "Dawn's fish tacos" based on another review, which was the right choice. If you're a fish taco person, get these.
Megan put some water down unasked and just at the right time. Sat next to a local and had some great conversation. It's the most prominent brewery in your google search within Yonkers for a reason. Good service/beer/food/atmosphere.
As brewery/tap houses go, this one is just fine. Big, bright, spacious, friendly, good music. A good range of beer - from lagers to a couple of stouts. Not the most attentive service, but friendly when you can flag the chatty bartender down.

The service is outstanding. The waitstaff takes the time to learn your name and what your drinking! Leany (I know I spelled this wrong) is fantastic. She took care of each table with great attentiveness and made everyone feel welcomed. The beer is fantastic. I recommend Rays IPA.
We got Nachos appetizer (so delicious and filling), Chicken finger appetizer (pretty fried, good and comes with delicious sauces to dip), burger (basic but good, comes with fries), churros (by far the best thing we got. So delicious. The dipping chocolate on the side was definitely chocolate syrup but the churro itself was incredible)
I had the fish and chips. It was tastless. My daughter had the short ribs on grilled cheese. She couldn't eat it after the first bite. Sodas was an entire glass of ice with little soda.
Ended up stopping by Yonkers Brewing because I had a Groupon. We decided to order some things from the Octoberfest menu.
The food was fine . It tasted fresh, but it didn t necessarily taste good. Now, this is good from a specialty menu, the normal food may be better. The food also took a long time to come, but that didn t bother my group. We were there for a while anyway.
The beers and mixed drinks were good.
My main issue was with the service. There was no waiter for the patrons sitting and eating food. The bartender was responsible for taking orders from people at tables as well. I don t even blame him: asking a bartender to attend the bar and wait tables is a tough task. On top of this, we were sitting outside due to Covid concerns, while the bar is inside.
Lastly, (and this goes to my last point): the tables weren t cleaned before we sat down. This is a October 2020. Covid is still a thing.
Your tables must be cleaned between each customer. And asking the bartender to bartend, take order and wait tables, and clean tables is a lot to ask one person.
Although I did not have a positive experience, I can imagine going to Yonkers Brewing when it s appropriately staffed, ordering a favorite from the menu, and having a positive experience.

They make some amazing fresh tasting and the service is A1. The staff are very polite and they have a great beer selection on tap.
great local spot. foods good and quick service is on par. I like a golden beer and the dortmunder does the trick. these guys will be in your grocery before you know it so why not get it fresh from the tap.

was invited to a soft opening of this location before the official grand opening. The menu wasn't as full as it will be, but what they did have was great. A nice spacious area for dining or just pulling up to the bar for some drinks. Attentive staff and the owners are on hand at all times for anything you may want. Tours are free, but if you want to donate, all proceeds will go to the local Yonkers Animal Shelter. The location is right next to the Yonkers Metro North station, so you can stop in before or after your commute. Really like this place and hope to see it grow with time.

The vibe and atmosphere was great. The food however, not so much. Ordered Garlic wings and it was just basically dry flavorless wings with a side of garlic flavored blue cheese. I also ordered their Mac n cheese. They totally forgot to bring it to me, and when the waitress noticed (45 minutes later) she claimed it was in the oven. It was COLD. I should ve refused it because it was sooo bland. To top it off, the Pepsi was clear. They didn t realized they had run out of syrup. When we mentioned it, waitress says oh ok, I didn t charge you. Ummm, I hope not. Especially since she took them back. It s definitely a cool spot, and their beer is great. The food though... no good.

We waited over an hour to get items from the appetizers. Their "big plate" did not even come with a side. We asked for lemons for our water which we never received and we asked for more water which we also never received. In the end all we got was an apology. I don't recommend it. We ordered a beer we liked fruition the flight and it was not what we ordered.
From the outside the restaurant looked great. However, once we walked in it was so quiet. No one greeted us and the employees just stared at us trying to figure out a place to sit. The menu had a lot of options in terms of food and IPA so we were expecting it to be really good. Both my bf and I didn t really enjoy our food. His chicken and waffles looked like a stale tv dinner. The waffles weren t cooked all the way and the chicken was dry and flavorless. My salmon burger was okay but it came with chips that were pretty bland and stale. Also, the food got cold so fast and wasn t served very hot to begin with. The cauliflower balls were the only thing we really enjoyed. The sauce that came with it was great! The IPAs were also mediocre which isn t their fault. Our waitress was mostly nice but just very quiet and had no enthusiasm. Overall, I d give this place a 6/10.

Great little brewery here, they would have a five star but their games were incomplete. As my wife said you go to some breweries their beers are undrinkable, but this place they are!
One of my friends have been ask me to go with him since this open a few weeks ago, This is my third time visiting a Brewing.
The select of the beers that they have is very small, but I think is because there are still growing.
one of the things I see very bad about the place is that there is no parking for the once that are going to visit, so they have to find parking on the streets, but the Brewing is very close to the train station, making easy for the once that are going to take the train or bus.
The food is a little bit expense, and you can pay 20 dollars to 4 taste beers in 8onz cup.

Yonkers BPA: Belgian-Sytle Pale ale Spicy flavors and aroma, fruit yeast, citrus hop burst. With 5.0 ABV.
There have a lot of tables and TV so can sit down with yours friends and have a good time.
I will come again to taste the others beers and see if they have a tours like the other brewing that I have gone before.
One of my favorite places to grab a beer, and chicken . I recommend the chicken and waffles , oh my its amazing . Plus the atmosphere is everything . They have some really good bands and live music.
Yonkers Brewing makes a wide selection of very good beer. Unlike other local breweries however, they've turned their space in to a true local hang out. Besides their own beer, and a guest tap or two, Yonkers features wine on draft, a full bar, and a full kictchen. It's a great place for a group because everyone will find something they love, both to eat and drink.
It's convenient location right off the Metro North make it a must visit spot for anyone with access to public transit. For those who drive, street parking is difficult during peak times, but there is a parking garage across the street.
However you get there, make sure you stay for a drink and carry some out also. They carry a selection of six packs and will fill your growler. If you don't have a growler, they have crowlers available as well!
Good variety of beer, with plenty of seating at the bar or at tables. Vienna Lager, brown ales, NEIPAs, porters and stouts. While you are there grab some pineapple ipa wings.
A Yonkers classic, a Must-visit for beer lovers and anyone passing through the neighborhood.

We went on a Friday night. There was a freestyle DJ. The DJ was good but that was about it. It took, literally, twenty minutes to get a drink. I timed it. In fact, it food came out before my glass of wine did. It's wine, not a fancy cocktail or anything. I think they had too few bartenders. On top of that, the waiter was slow , overworked, and it was obvious he didn't want to be there. And when we got our food, the chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp. Had to send them back and wait again.
Good atmosphere waiters took a little long but they were good. Very knowledgeable about the different beer selection. Beer priced just right
Friendly staff and very good beers. Had 2 kinds of IPA and Wheat, and all are good!
Service was pretty poor. Took our order than ignored us for the rest of the time. Burgers left much to be desired, mainly flavor. Had 7 people at our table and they refused to split the check because "it was too much work". Each person got one drink and one meal so not that complicated. At least the table was clean when we sat down and the beer wasn't bad.

Located at the near end of Main Street heading toward the Hudson River, tucked away to the left just before an elevated railroad crossing. 1 guest draft line (Doc's Cider) with 11 house draught. Full spectrum of styles from Belgian Dark Strong, Rauch, milk stout and all forms of IPA DIPA DDH DIPA APA etc. Sessions, lagers and seasonals round out the list to take care of just about any picky pallet. Bar has booze too. Shotgun shaped establishment with brew tanks in rear and kitchen right behind bar. Nothing better than fresh food passed hand to hand from the grill. 10 big picnic tables and same 2 tops on wall and by window. Video games fuzeball and 6 tvs round out this cozy tight outfit. Kelly behind the grill will convert you to the brussel sprouts as well as standard pub fare done with finesse and pride. Live music, silent dj and trivia make it a place to check out at all times including 10am weekend brunch. Amiable bartenders always make your stay here relaxing and inviting. After many years of drinking Yonkers beer and eating here, I am proud to leave my mark.

the beer speaks for itself with how well brewed it is but they also serve cocktails as well. was recently here for brunch and had a delicious blood mary (with the works) and a california love wrap. there is no wrong choice when it comes to the food - it's all good! the service is top notch and i had my 30th birthday party here as well and it was a great experience. the events that they do a really fun for any and everyone. it's definitley worth the trip to check out and you will keep wanting to go back!
First and last time here, I came in the waitress was not knowledgeable about the burgers make order something if don t want because that was the closest to what what I wanted. Took for ever to assist us, we would try to get her attention and she wouldn t come. My cup of had someone else lipstick on it and no one apology. This is disgusting to think I drank from someone else cup. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

We were there on a Sunday for brunch. Every single person we encountered who works at this place was very nice and accommodating. We weren't expecting to have a great brunch at this place but it was so good. Bloody Mary was real good. It was very clean. All types of folks from groups of young professionals to families hanging out. Highly recommend and worth a drive.
Was a frequent visitor until I met the owners/ family. I now refuse to come back and give any more business to a brewery that has zero integrity and respect for its customers. Was shocked to see the lack of professionalism, integrity and manners.
Had a flight and a few small glasses. The beer was okay. Also had the pork nachos which were nothing fancy but were tasty. If go back, but I'm not rushing to go.
Good food. The burgers were smaller than expected, but they double-stack them, so it makes up for it. Best fried brownie I've had.
Great brewpub! Varied selection of beers and wonderful bar food with subtle twists on the standard fare. Good prices all around and a frequent buyer card for growler purchases. Beers are consistently excellent with mouthfeel being a highlight feature imo. New head brewer just introduced a standout IPA. If that's any indication, it points the way to a great up and coming lineup building on a great foundation.
They Brew some good beers here. They have a full kitchen and the menu is pretty good. The service is pretty on the ball and I haven't had an issue here. The reason's for the four stars and not five is my cole slaw had apples in it that was a little brown and I haven't found that go to beer yet. Everything is great otherwise and I will definitely come back. Things to try include the southern fried chicken sandwich which is on waffles and the Mai Tai sour of it's still on tap and you like sours. The last time I went they didn't have growlers but they'll fill one of you bring your own.

Great little brewpub. Exactly what we were looking for after leaving the city. Our waitress Maria was excellent. Beers were great and my favorite was the smoked marzen. They had games so kids could play as well. The pierogi's were really good. They said they were made at a local deli.

Had a bday party set for 11 people at a set price all you can drink. However, Jon Rubbo decided to change up our dinner and drink plans as soon as we arrived. I m not sure how a business like this runs for my birthday dinner. I m extremely upset and hope no one else ever plans a dinner or party with brewery. Shame on you Jon. We spent 3 weeks to plan this dinner out, yet you decided to pull a fast one on us. This is the last time I ever book a dinner with you. Two stars might be too low, but I can't justify 3. The beer is good. We had a sour and an IPA. Both were actually very good. The rest of the negatives are relatively minor, but added together, made for a not great experience. We visited with 3 kids, on the plus side seemed to be welcome here. It was fairly warm outside and an odor of garbage lingered in the air, so we sat down inside. It was so cold that we couldn't stay and chose to sit outside instead. The waiter came out to take our order, but it was a long while before we saw drinks, which as I mentioned before was the best part of the meal. I had the short rib grilled cheese. It was good, but not great. Nothing wrong with it. No specific complaints, but it just wasn't as amazing as the description made it sound. The kids had mac & cheese, which was watery and tasteless, though the kids seemed to like it. It was fairly terrible. My daughter had the shrimp tacos, the highlight of food. If I had to complain about it, there were only two, and my daughter left hungry, and she's not a big eater. Also, it came paired with green white and red tortilla chips, which I found odd. My grilled cheese did as well. I don't think my side of chips needed artificial colors. My wife had the burger. At $14 I would have expected more. It was two thin, obviously from frozen, patties. She asked for medium rare, and there wasn't a bit of pink to be found. The taste was okay if you like frozen burger patties. Overall, with the prices of the food, I would have expected much better. Nothing was terrible or unedible. If the food was cheap, I might not have even taken the time to write a review. Unfortunately, this was not a great experience, and we won't be back.

I would like to give zero stars for the service. I ordered Brussels sprouts for my appetizer with no meat or cheese, of course to my surprise it came out with both. One of the waitresses there definitely made me feel tension because of my race! Never again!
Got delivery; food was still hot when it got here. Chicken and waffle sandwich is really good, and I loved the brussel sprouts. There are a ton of thing left on the menu we want to try, so we ll definitely be ordering from them again soon.
Me and my girls have been coming here for over two years . I absolutely like the food and music very organize and the environment is excellent plus the games are so fun.
Missing it's potential
PERFECT location 2 minutes from Yonkers metro North station, bus and cab stands. The staff is super friendly.
Get a drink at this place and perhaps a beer ( I haven't tried but people seem to love the options) but dont eat here.
What it's missing is a consistent experience. Examples were watery mac and cheese, salad was fresh ingredients but not great and NOT what was ordered. Need a simpler menu they can do perfectly instead too many options that a simple bar cook perhaps can't handle.
The place overall needs a refresh. Old video game machines and foosball table gotta go. There is seating at the bar for 15-20 people in uncomfortable chairs. (Totally avoid the bench table and chairs. Wobbly and unstable).
I work in Manhattan and while I don't expect THAT level of dining, the food quality should be better at those prices.
Go somewhere else for food and then this place for drinks.

Normally i love the brewery i always order a. Flight and a cheddar gorge burger but this time I was taken care of by an old server who was a bit on the roadside and my burger was served on a different bun which soaked up all the juice and made it very soggy and nasty
Two stars for good atmosphere and drinks were decent. But the food, oh man was horrible. The chicken sandwich was not fully cooked and the waiter place in my food order wrong. Two friends I was with had to wait 50 mins for their drinks to come. Their order was a ginger ale and a cider drink... 50 mins. Beware of the food here. I will not order from here again.
Great beer. They always have 12 on tap, with about 6 being standbys. The others rotate depending on season. The food here is also good pub food and I always find something I want. Fried Chicken and Waffle sandwich, devils on horseback, and the market chicken are standouts for me. Wings are also very good, and the staff makes you feel like part of the family.
If you wanna drink different types of bear this is one of my favorite places to do so. Every beer had something about it I liked. I didn't feel the same about the appetizers. The meats all tasted fine but nothing to write home about. A little more seasoning or spice for the apps and this place would be perfect.
Great beer, damn good food, excellent servers, funky atmosphere. Had a fun band there Sept. 21 and everyone was having a great time. Worth a trip to this joint in a quickly revitalizing downtown Yonkers neighborhood.
Very unorganized. The whole wait staff and the kitchen needs A LOT of training. Took 40 minutes for our food to come out. All that waiting, and the food sucked. Such a great location. I will not be going back.

Tried all their beers, very well made. Lots of TVs for sports. Right by the water so there's a good view. The downtown area is right up the road with lots to do. The only available parking is usually the parking deck which is right next door. Huge space with lots of room for large groups. Only issue was kitchen never made the food, bartender tried to convince us it was coming out but after 30 min ask together we had to go and never got it.

Located in the heart of Downtown Yonkers, Yonkers Brewing Company has a great selection of beers from IPAs to Stouts that are made on site. I wasn't a big fan of their beers before but after visiting the Brewery I found a few beers I liked. Their stouts still need some work, but I liked their New England IPA. They serve your normal bar foods. The wings and crunchy chicken tenders were my favorite. There is live music at night and a lot of room for groups. I had a great time. Stop in and check them out!
