I was treated poorly by two employees at the Maple Valley UPS Store. I brought in an Amazon return to have shipped out. I dug my phone out to have them scan the QR code and unfortunately, Amazon apparently only provided an electronic tracking label with no QR code. I asked them if they could print out the label. They readily agreed to print it out if I paid for the printing cost of the label (I assume $0.10). I didn't want to pay anything to ship the package, and asked if they could use their machine to spit out a self-adhesive label, which they also refused to do.

I didn't really want to drive back home, so I instead went to the library and printed out a label there. Upon return, the store owner and one employee both ignored my existence. Fortunately a third employee was willing to help me. She provided a mailing pouch - no charge - and then asked if I wanted a receipt. Get this, she printed the receipt for me on a UPS adhesive mailing label and handed it to me at no charge.

I do not understand why I had to drive to the library to print out a label when they have the equipment and skills to do it in house (without charging me). Further, I do not appreciate how the store owner and his staff treated me, both in their poor explanation as to why they could not help me as well as them ignoring me upon my return.

I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

3 times I sent fragile packages, twice was multiple packages, and they re all crushed. I almost believed that UPS sucks everywhere until I experienced a very wonderful UPS store in Texas that sent all my fragiles home safely. I am freaked out using this store to send packages

With just one person on duty 10 minutes after opening at 9:00, things moved slowly. Only two customers allowed inside at once, so the employee could not see the line outside. She gave her full attention to each customer.

Unfortunately as I was getting my box out of my car, someone double parked on the road and rushed in ahead of me (she never noticed me in the parking or that three other customers were already inside). I was finally able to enter 20 minutes later. The person ahead of me was using someone else's account to ship him a laptop. She had no idea of its value, the name of the company it was going to (only the recipient's name) and other details. The employee was very patient, but it took another 20+ minutes to get her taken care of.

When I left another four people were in line outside. Glad I went to UPS before getting my coffee at Starbucks.

I had to check and see if I was, in fact, invisible to the person behind the counter on a recent visit. It went on so long I almost started laughing. I tried asking for help and everything but she wasn t going to engage until she wanted to I guess. It took another staff member coming in to get help. The customer service in this store is very hit and miss. Sometimes they notice you but more often than not they re too busy with their email or chatting to bother with customers.

We sent and insured an item through thr UPS store which arrived broken. We've been dealing with them for weeks now trying to get updates on how to get out insurance claim resolved; the manager Tammy refused to talk to me on thr phone today and said she'd only talk to my teenage daughter who actually shipped the item with them.

I won't be using this location again.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in quite awhile... Takes forever to get help, when you do, the employees are dismissive and don't understand the seemingly most basic requests/questions.

The older woman who helped me the second time I came in out of these two instances, this time to drop of some Amazon returns and get an update on my insured package I shipped off (which was confusing for the employee to do this basic request) was extremely rude, dismissive of my questions/concerns and would act like she was right the whole time when she originally did not understand the basic question or was confused by what she was looking at on the computer. She tried to make it seem like I did not understand her or she wasn't originally confused when she kept changing what she would state previously. She should not be handling a computer because everything she did on it she messed up the first time and caused confusion.

Times in the past haven't been great either.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was just helped by two individuals a young lady and a young man. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I called prior to coming in and the same girl who helped me on the phone was the same girl who helped me in store and both instances wasn't very pleasing. Both employees ask if you need help and then jump to the next customer without even helping you! UPS needs to teach these people how to deliver great customer service!!!

Have used this store since they opened, at least 10 years ago. Have never had a bad experience and the staff has gone way out of their way to help me with projects. Would give them 6 stars if I could!

I dropped of a Next Day Air package at 11:30 am and it didn't leave Seattle until 4:00 pm the next day. Contacted UPS and was informed that Next Day Air does not consider the weekend as days, so an $80 Next Day Air shipped out on Friday will not arrive until Monday and probably will go by truck. BEWARE of this scam.

I have had consistent bad experiences at this store. I went to store to ship out a Amazon return with Lithium ion battery in it. Amazon had sent me a warning label also for Lithion ion battery. The girl at the counter had a very thick accent and a very bad attitude.

The first thing she tells me, this label needs to be in "collar". I said what do you mean by "collar"? I figured she was saying it needs to be in color. Oh i said no, Amazon sent me as black and white, there was no color on it. This woman keeps going, do you have a color printer or black and white printer. I said it doesn't matter because it came in black and white so even if i print on color printer, it would look the same. It took me good 10 mins to make her understand basics of color printing. This was when there were 5-6 people waiting in line behind me.

Then I had a cardboard box which i had bought but didn't pack coz i wanted to show them what i am putting in it. Then this woman goes again, if we have to tape it then it would be a dollar charge and if you bubble wrap then it will be more. THAT is when i lost it, I wanted to ask her to call her manager for nickle and diming me for a piece of tape. But considering so many people in line behind me, i wanted to respect their time and said hell whatever just let me end my misery of seeing you today.

A dollar is not a big deal, but it shows the cheap and pathetic attitude of the people working here. I have decided to never visit this store again but just go to FedEx next time. They are a LOT more professional and customer friendly than these morons.

Poor customer service. Copies came out wrong, and the person helping me refused to work with me to fix them. I've been making copies there for years, but will not continue to do so. Instead, I went and ordered copies online for half the price.

Don't go here if you want your package to arrange on time. I was just sending a padded envelope to Renton, and they said it would arrive the next day. I checked the tracking ... it's now in San Francisco. How did that happen? Now it's supposed to arrive 4 days later. I could have walked to Renton and delivered it myself in that time. Also, when I had another package to send, I told the gal my work number ... she said some name popped up that I didn't recognize - I said that wasn't me. She said, "Oh, that's okay ... it's probably someone who works there and used the same phone number." No, it wasn't. And she didn't even key in the correct phone number. I sure hope THAT package gets to where it's going ... but now it has the wrong return address and name, because the rep was too lazy to look up the correct information and change it. Don't go here.

I went back again today, because I also realized there was an erroneous charge on my credit card, along with the regular shipping cost. I changed the review to two stars, because when I went back, the store manager was very kind and fixed everything. My trust is lost, however.

I use to get helpful and friendly service from this store and now I get hangups, zero help, and zero friendly! I don't like being hung up on and then call back and after sitting on hold for 10 minutes listening to a constant beep like they just transferred me to their fax! I wont be going back to it or its sister store in Covington. I would give zero stars if the system would allow it!

This is truly the worst experience I have ever had at UPS. The server was all over the place, on her own with a great queue of folks waiting. I waited over 30 mins to have an Amazon item scanned on my phone and tossed in a box. The entire transaction was 6 seconds ...this store is awful!

Want great customer service from this UPS store? Ask for Tammy. She's will definitely provide that. Have multiple things needed done at UPS store? Ask for Tammy. Why? Because just from the time you walk through the door she's eager to help. Patient, thorough and a great multi tasker. Not to mention she makes you feel like you can have confidence in the services you need with UPS.

I went to ship a return package and was going to use the mobile code (say take to the store and they will print for you) off the return authorization that linked to the ups website but they said they can only use that for amazon packages. I then had to login on the computer to my email to print the label and then they charged me .11 for the copy it and of course I didn t have the change and they won t use a debit card for that amount and so I had to go out to my car to find .11. If they are a franchise branch of UPS they should be able to handle scanning a mobile code to print the label for me like UPS said they will. A 2 minute process took 10 min. In the big scheme of things not a crisis but it was super frustrating.
