Everyone at Faulkner BMW in Lancaster makes you feel welcome and everyone we ve dealt with have gone above and beyond to do the right thing. Our salesman, Greg and our service adviser, Caitlin, are the best.
Rober howry is one of the best salesman I ve ever had. They sold me a car for a good price, and have been very attentive even after I purchased it.
I don t even live in Pennsylvania and I will buy a car from them again.
I highly recommend them.
Overall they have always been good to do business with. Very friendly and nice and treat you very well at the counter. However this last experience will again make me think twice about going back.
The 3 star rating has to do with 3 issues I experienced at this visit.
1) inspection issue.
2) previous repair they performed is an issue again. and they won't back their work.
3) complimentary wash and vacuum.
I stopped going here 4 years ago when I had an issue with state inspection, but I again received an email offering a free state inspection so thought why not. I know my car and take good care of it.
There is nothing "free". What I got was an estimate for over $3000 worth of recommended repairs. The same belt tensioner that needed replaced 4 years ago still doing fine. (there known issues with the belt tensioners on BMW's... Can it fail tomorrow, sure.) Valve cover gasket leaking. The same valve cover gasket they replaced 3 years ago (under warranty) and they won't cover it under warranty because the warranty coverage for the repair was 2 years. How the heck does a car that gets maybe 500 miles on it a year get a leaking valve cover gasket in 3 years? either faulty workmanship or faulty repair products.
I got grief again for the same issue that drove me away from this dealership 4 years ago in the first place. I've not had any issue in the 4 years I took my business elsewhere. I permanently fixed the item the tech had at inspection. But I probably still won't go back here for inspection again.
I rolled the dice to come back to Faulkner and lost. oh well.
I do appreciate them pointing out potential issues to keep an eye on. That's really how I look at at the $3000 worth of recommended repairs. But it's pretty disappointing they won't back up work they previously did.
Wash and vacuum at this dealer means streaks of water down the side of the car and spots on the hood. Vacuum? hah...You gotta turn on the vacuum for it to work.. Carpets look the same as they did when I pulled into the service bay. Pretty easy to tell when you have black carpet.
Even if I did not love BMW cars, I would still buy them, just to keep the stellar service I receive from Jesse. Nothing is ever to big or small for Jesse to take care of for me. From a last-minute service with a loaner, to taking empty boxes out of the back of the car. Jesse and the Faulkner BMW service team are, quite literally, the "ultimate service experience."
Bought a used car (non BMW from them). The car was very clean. The salesperson Jonathon was very knowledgeable about the car and its history. The purchasing process was low pressure and efficient. I feel that I got a very fair deal on the car and would work with them again.

I have had my X3 for just a few weeks, less than 1 month by about 10 days. 12 of those days I was out of town not using my car. Last night we got in car and for some reason my key would not start the car. After checking manual, it stated to hold key against steering column in select spot. To know avail, went back inside and got her set of keys. It then worked fine. Thank goodness I was not somewhere else but home.
Other than that, car is fine so far.

Everything was fine except for the return of my car. A loaner wasn't available when I dropped it off and was told that it would be delivered to me at my house since I didn't have anyone available to take me to BMW. Well your driver dropped it off but there wasn't anyone to take your driver back! I was in a hurry because I had a dentist appt. in Ephrata but I didn't want your driver to wait around in the heat so I dropped everything and returned him to BMW. (He was very nice and it wasn't his fault!)
Faulkner BMW's team in the service center is top notch. Everything about my experience there was fantastic. I will certainly continue to get my vehicle serviced there in the future. If you are looking for the best service staff around, look no further.

I ordered a 2020 BMW M240i from Faulkner BMW of Lancaster and bought it from them when it arrived. The price was fair, the process was quick and easy, and the Faulkner staff were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
I purchased a CPO 335i with 33k mile and upon initial inspection, I noticed the clear coat on the front bumper's retractable headlamp washer cover had been flaking off. I asked the sales agent Gregory if it had ever been in an accident and he assured me it has not. They painted the headlamp washer cover before I picked up the vehicle the next day, so that should have been a dead give away that the car had been painted before, but I trusted that since it's a BMW CPO that it was probably a fluke. I was dead wrong. At 45k miles, the front bumper's clear coat had started to peel near the emblem, and the rear spoiler's clear coat had completely disintegrated. I took it back to the dealer and they informed me that the bumper had been resprayed by the previous owner and therefore will not cover for the damages. They claim they had no way of knowing. It took the service manager a few minutes to see that the bumper had been sprayed before and the fact that they had to repaint the small cover should have given them a chance to inspect the paint and disclose this information upon purchasing. They just wanted to make a quick bucks and once they have your money they don't care about you. This is my 3rd BMW and the last. Its a shame since BMW's are fine vehicles but fraudulent dealers like Faulker tarnish that name.

On my 4th BMW, and over 10+ years of great experience dealing with Faulkner BMW. Sales, and Service always continue to provide me with a positive experience.
Today my grandmother and I decided to drive down to Faulkner BMW of Lancaster to test drive a BMW x3 and X5. My grandmother currently owns a BMW X1, but she wanted to test drive some of the bigger models to see if she'd like to upgrade.
After meeting with the sales man ( whose name slips my mind at the moment) and telling him we want to test drive some cars, I already get the feeling he doesn't take us seriously or wants to help us.
First we take the x3 for a drive. My grandma had him drive, because she gets nervous driving in unknown areas. While the car sales man drives us around, shortly my grandma an I realize he doesn't really want to be doing this. He doesn't offer any car facts or tell us about the car. It was literally like pulling teeth. And we were answered with short quick answers. After returning to the car lot we hesitatly ask to see the x5, because he seemed bothered by us and gave off the impression we were just wasting his time. Second time out in the x5 now. The ride was basically the same I walked away learning nothing about the car, only learning how not to act if I'm trying to sell a car.
After returning with the X5 my grandmother and I say thank you and it was great. The sales man did not even say, well thank you for checking out Faulkner BMW... or come back again. He was very unpersonable and my grandmother and I were very unimpressed and offended by our treatment at Faulkner BMW.
Apparently we learned going to a car dealership and asking to test drive cars is rather bothersome to car dealers and they probably won't give you the time of day unless you are looking to trade in or buy a car on the spot.
This will be the first and last time my grandmother and I will go to Faulkner BMW of Lancaster because their service towards their customers is horrible.

Unless you're leasing, or buying a car from them, i wouldn't do any business with them. I've had 2 BMWs that i didn't purchase there and have had multiple bad experiences.
They fought me tooth and nail or a factory warranty claim and i had to get BMW America involved and about 10 back and forth phone calls with Faulkner to get it resolved. When i showed up to have the faulty airbag replaced, they had no record of my appointment, and their service manager treated me like an idiot (like i just brought my car in and made up the appointment they scheduled 2 weeks earlier). I had to reschedule, go through the whole warranty claim again and find the recall bulletin) and schedule an appointment for a week later. I had the exact same issue with getting the Catalytic Converters replaced under warranty, i had to bring the car in 4 different times and they just kept clearing the error code.
I had a transmission error code, my mechanic did not have the equipment to test for transmission codes, so we sent it to Faulker. They told me i needed to replace the entire tranny, and it would cost $7,000. My mechanic then read some of the BMW forums, and fixed the SMG pump relay for $500.
Don't be fooled, they're only looking out for themselves. If you buy a BMW, its worth the drive to another dealer, or find a good local Mechanic. I'd rather drive a half hour to York than have to deal with these guys.
Bryan @ Faulkner was professional and kind. He was patient with me as I chose to look at a few different cars. Although he did not hover, he was close by to answer any questions. Most importantly, he respected my time and provided me with his best quote on my first visit.
On my scheduled pickup day, Tanner was very thorough in going over everything I needed to know to get started with my new car.
The sales people were so cordial and accommodating, that we were delighted. The car we ordered came quickly and it was beautiful.

Check in was easy. I was informed that more work was needed that anticipated. A loaner was arranged. The next day I was able to pick up the car. The bill was ready, car newly washed and ready to go. A nice experience.
They worked me in on 30 min notice when I had a tire develop a bubble in sidewall while on a trip to Hershey, PA. We were going to drive home thru Lancaster, PA anyway. They coordinated with TireRack for my "Road Hazard" damage claim and their price for tire & install was reasonable. They were professional, tire was mounted & balanced well and car was washed & vacuumed.

Ordered parts for my car from their online parts department. At first communications were great, they let me know the part was on backorder. When my part finally came, I only received 1 of the 2 I ordered and I have tried contacting now for over 24 hours with not one single response via email or phone. Poor communication and terrible customer service. Edit: They've since contacted me about the order and resolved the situation. I now understand why my order was incomplete but this could have definitely been avoided with some kind communication even just with the order itself letting me know all parts weren't included.
In short, I was impressed with how smoothly things went in purchasing a used vehicle here from out of state.
I'd had an eye out and alerts set for a particularly rare variant of a vehicle. Listing for one popped up here, so I called the minute they opened that day, was on the line with someone in sales a minute later, and once I said "I'll take it," the ball was rolling and the car was mine. It should be said that they likely got many other calls on this car (this was the only one available at a dealer in the country), but it was never in doubt that once we had agreed on the proposed bill of sale that they were considering it my sale.
Coming from out of state, they made it simple to hold the vehicle for me until the weekend. Staff was ready and waiting for us when we showed up that weekend, and after taking as long as we liked to look the vehicle over and take it out for a spin, we zipped through paperwork and were on our way.

I have been a BMW owner since 1990 and have had a wonderful experience at a couple of BMW dealers - in Hawaii, Germany, France and Lancaster, PA. Except for our current BMW 5 Series, which we received at this dealership, we picked all of them up at the delivery center in Munich. All of the dealers have been 5 star experiences including BMW of Lancaster.
The customer support and service at BMW of Lancaster excels from the first contact in their sales department to maintenance and repair in the service department. Our first contact in the service department was in 2006 when we arrived in Lancaster. Due to the Superior treatment we have received from the dealership Staff & Management, we have seen no reason that we would even consider taking our BMWs to any other dealer or shop for maintenance or repair, nor to look elsewhere to buy a new BMW. From day 1, Brandon Gentile has been friendly, helpful and extremely honest and sincere in our maintenance and repair requirements - we could not have been happier. To this day, Brandon continues to take care of us and our vehicles and we can always be assured that when we come in for regular maintenance, our BMW will be thoroughly inspected and anything other than normal maintenance, like a repair issue, will be identified and we will be immediately notified. When contacted, we will discuss the issue, have all of our questions answered and make a decision on whether to repair at that time or not - depending on importance and any other constraints. The results have always been exactly what I expected or better and our relationship remains not only professional, but very, very friendly.
Management is easy to converse with as well as the normal customer contacts one sees on any visit. I have always felt easy in speaking with any of the staff and been extremely happy with the results of all interactions. BMW of Lancaster people from the General Manager on down are very friendly, helpful and Customer Service oriented. The dealership property is immaculate in every department and the reception and waiting areas are always cheery and comfortable. From our first to latest experience, we have been extremely happy and satisfied with BMW of Lancaster.
I started my quest to purchase a new BMW 5 series when the first F model was introduced. I came in, explained my plan and was immediately accepted and helped by the sales management/staff. I had some specific features that were not available the first year, so our purchase was deferred until we could meet our objectives. We have been so happy with the support the sales staff and management provided from selection to delivery and beyond - our new BMW was exactly what we wanted when we ordered it.
During a vacation trip shortly after taking delivery of our new BMW, we were in Nebraska and experienced two hailstorms (golf ball size and larger hail) which really pounded our new BMW. On returning to Lancaster, we took the car to the BMW of Lancaster service department and everything was handled to make the repairs from working with the insurance to delivery of a "perfect" car, including all coordination actions. All of the dents were removed using a paint-less methodology so we still had the actual factory paint and finish - no one can see any evidence of damage! The repairs were timely as well.
We certainly have a life-long friendship and a professional relationship with BMW of Lancaster!
Faulkner BMW is an outstanding dealership to deal with when it comes to new or preowned car sales. I drove 1.5 hours because from the initial phone call to the in-house experience, I couldn't have been more impressed. I would highly recommend working with Jonathan Hoxworth in their sales dept. From the initial conversation to all of the follow up even after you take the car home, he is there for you. I have bought a number of high end vehicles and worked with some stellar dealerships but this one was the best so far. Faulkner BMW fully deserves a five-star rating. The service writers pay attention to detail, are careful to follow up when necessary and are very sensitive to their clients' time. The technicians always have resolved the few problems I experienced quickly and correctly the first time. Faulkner's body shop is equally professional and expert. They have repaired my car three times, and it looks as good as new. Last but not least, the sales staff is professional and fair. My lease transaction was a low-pressure, transparent and -- dare I say -- pleasant experience.
I just wanted to say thank you to Rose A. And Derek M. And everybody else who is involved in making this the best experience every single time... I live about a hour and a half away but it is well worth it because the customer service is 110% everytime and I trust this dealership like family... Loaner X-2 for the day. Too small for me but really a great little car. Sport mode was quick.
Decided to get a 2019 5 series. Great deal . This car is well equipped and handles so well on the highway. The adaptive cruise controls are wonderful.
Needed a little service. Gave me. 2020 3 series for a loaner. No charge for service.

I have been taking my used BMW for service here for the last several years, and last year finally was able to purchase my own. The sales staff, service staff, and everyone there are always so friendly and helpful. Most recently, I needed new tires, which had to be shipped in from out of state, and they kept me informed as to the progress. I especially appreciated the continuous updates from Brandon, the service rep.
I just had my inspection and some other work done at Faulkner BMW. It was the second time I had work done on the car there and I am extremely pleased with the attention to detail that is provided by them. I feel confident that any work I need done in the future will be done professionally.

Greg Schaub and the team at Faulkner BMW in Lancaster made my purchase experience a breeze. I bought a 2020 BMW X1 service loaner from the dealership. Negotiations occurred mostly through email and Greg was completely patient and thorough (without being pushy or rude as some other dealers I contacted were) during the process and worked with my on my trade-in's value sight unseen. The actual documentation and signature process with the finance manager hit a few snags which were resolved mostly to my satisfaction (this was not my favorite part of the overall experience). I've had the vehicle for almost 3 weeks now and I still have a smile on my face when I drive it. Overall I rate Faulkner BMW 5 stars because I feel that I got a fair deal on a very good vehicle.
Service of my EMERGENCY Airbag recall was a flop as the scheduled appointment was made without proper communication of inventory checks to ensure the Drivers Side / most important part was not in stock.
after leaving this review I finally had my 2nd visit and drivers side bag installed. the car was returned Whore'd up with grease marks , interior cloth yanked on and a new rattling sound from the passengers side as well as a nice dried spit on the back window.
I noticed this after leaving back to work. I constantly look out my back window after being hit in a bad accident in my last bmw I also had to gas up prior to going in for service.
its pretty sad to say the least . All from a 2 star review over poor service coordination and inventory manage leading to a 2nd trip and service for the driver (most important) airbag safety recall.
I almost changed that 2 star to 3. I am glad my phone died mid review and that I saw my returned vehicle Whore'd up first.
Had a great experience. Treated very well. Wanted them to give me more for my trade but there was a "glitch" on my Carfax which adversely affected things. Other than that Rob was great to work with as was the BMW Genius and the finance guy (Michael).

While commuting home from work, my 1 Series developed a very rough idle and reduced acceleration. I drove to Faulkner BMW where the service advisor (Jeremy) immediately placed me in a loaner vehicle (2014 328i xDrive) and ensured me that he would call once the technicians had diagnosed the problem. Recall work was done quickly with no problem. Loaner vehicle was given even know this was a much older BMW. Suggested work was pretty outrageous regarding price, but we own a shop and never pay retail for parts. Communication was very good between the set up of appointment and completion of work. We have purchased from Faulkner in the past as well and also recommend them for sales. Always price check, mileage, condition, etc.
