Great environment, friendly staff, good food and big gaming area
Atmosphere was great. Plenty of tables to accommodate a lot of people. Only issue was that with that many people parking was very hard to find in the parking lot next to the building.
Lots of games including some more recent releases.
Food is a little expensive but tastes very good.
My home game store! Good food, friendly staff and plenty of gaming space. There's a good selection of recent titles and a huge, free demo library.
Great staff, plenty of selection, great food and COLD BEER. Plus tons of free games on the shelf
A huge free game selection! Its like the library from beauty and the beast but only with games
Fantasy Flight Games Center is an amazing environment where friends and family can go to experience adventure and excitement. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the space is huge. Lots of tables to play games on. Best yet you can purchase amazing games produced by Fantasy Flight Games. Check out this event center. One of the best in the metro area
A HUGE selection of games and a very friendly and helpful staff.
Huge space full of people having fun playing games. Wall of games available to pick from and play. Helpful staff for suggestions or pouring you a delicious drink. One of my favorite places to meet up with people.
Great atmosphere, helpful staff, and an extensive selection of games!
Extremely clean tidy and friendly. Has a great selection of up to date board games to buy and try! Best of all they have a really good selection of food and snacks and you really can spend a whole Saturday or evening here gaming. Big play area and friendly staff and patrons.
Very nice! Great game space and games available to demo for free.
The pull here is for the gaming atmosphere and options. The retail selection is sparse compared to some others in the area, and ffgc's menu options offsets that. Would give 5 stars but have had issues with ordering items through here.
Really great friendly atmosphere. I love the game library you can browse and play in store for free. There's a full menu at their cafe inside as well! And lots of games to purchase, too.
Large Banquet & tournament room, plus big gaming area, food game merchandise.
Wonder place for board gaming with both sales and a play area.
The manager is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the games both available for sale and to play as a demo. The selection is excellent.
Wall of games to try. Huge room of tables. Beer, coffee, burgers, tea. Great nachos and bbq pork. Friendly staff. Games to buy. Supplies for painting and models. Open late. Family friendly. Couldn't be much better!
If you like board games, even a little, you need to visit FFGEC. Their free play space alone is well worth a trip from anywhere in the Twin Cities metro. Add to that their food and beer selection and the game store, you just need to go.
Amazing place to play some boardgames with friends. Pretty good food, decent beer selection and great library of boardgames that you can borrow and play for free!
Good service. Great selection of games to play for all ages
Great place to hang out, grab food and play some games.
Vary wide variety of card games, even some that they make there.
Great place to find, learn about, and even play the newest board and fantasy card games. They also serve food.
Foods is more expensive then its worth. A lot of the menu items sound good but turn out to be disappointing. Other then that its a fantastic place to get a beer and play games.
Great place to play games. Love that this place exists.
A great place to play board games with friends or family. They have so many to borrow! No admission price. Great food and service.
Great space for gaming. Tons of tables, friendly staff... I go there on saturdays for an old school D&D group and I'm thinking about starting up a Toastmasters group just for gamers. This is a great place for your gaming events. Plus games to browse n buy, and food on site, they'll page you at your table when your grub is ready!
What a great place! So much room, friendly staff, tons of games to buy or try out. Everything you need is there!
Fun place to meet up with friends, dates, or simply to shop. Clean, bright, and classy facility. Great people, fun atmosphere, yummy food and drinks. Fantasy Flight does it ALL first class.
This place is awesome. I'll just make a list of the ways it is awesome:
-Good food
-Free to play game library that anybody can come in and use
-Good selection of games for sale
-Friendly, helpful staff
-A great environment welcoming to all levels of gamers
-Fun, organized game nights
I only buy games from this place because they are so cool about offering up a whole mess of games for anyone to play. I think those are enough reasons to justify the 5 star rating. Go in and check this place out!
Very cool place. Tons! of games. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is nice too. Everything is a la carte. The have burgers and fries, etc. They also have done alcoholic beverages. Locally made too.
Stopped by during a business trip. The center is stocked with hundreds of board, card, and role playing games for anyone to walk in and play. Be sure to bring a few friends so you're not standing around alone like I was. Luckily, I was able to find a few people to let me play with them, so I was able to play a few games while I was there.
The bar serves food as well as some beers on tap. I'm not completely sure what they serve, but the selection looked acceptable for this type of establishment.
Seems like a great place, I would like to spend more time in with a group of friends!
Visited from Colorado, as my son works at FFG as a 3d sculptor. Nice place to gather with others to play or try new games. Very cool place.
Good food great game library limited choice of beer and wine. Fun for the whole family. Lots of tables to play and eat at! A Huge event room open to customers when not hosting events.
Friendly and informed staff paired with a great selection, great atmosphere and better prices than most competition.
This is the Mecca of Fantasy Flight Games. They offer a huge space for playing many board games or areas to play miniatures. Lovely clean place with food and drink service. Great spot to come and sink a few hours with friends.
They also host a variety of events and not just for the games they make. You can also purchase a variety of games or play ones they offer for free at the store. A must stop for any board game enthusiast.
Awesome place to play games with good food. They also have a library of games you can use if you've never played something before.
Great service and staff. The game center is always fantastic with copies of board games to try and miniature games of all sorts running with excellent terrain.
The Fantasy Flight Games Center is a wonderful place. I would imagine most people don't know what it is, or where it is. Across the Roseville Post Office, the GC isn't just a "normal" store. Yes, you can purchase or special order your games here. You can also order food, drinks, and most anything that could catch your fancy.
You can ask any of the seasoned staff questions about new releases.
There is a wall of demo games that you can play at any time. There is also a ton of seating and tables - bring your own games and play, or hang out with your guild and play some roll playing games.
The GC offers support for casual gaming, new gamers, and tournaments.
Stop in and see what they have to offer and you may find your new favorite regular hangout.
Great game selection! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have tons of events and a decent food selection!
This place is awesome! Cafeteria with good food. Beer on tap. Everything the gamer in you needs for a fun night
Fun place to play games, but boy is the food awful.
Awesome place. I went in thinking it's a place to buy and play games with a small kitchen if you're hungry and walked out feeling it's a great place to eat that lets you play games and buy what you enjoyed playing. Seriously, the food is awesome and they have a huge library of games you can play there for free. I will be coming back for more.
Amazing game center with food and drinks, including beer. Great selection to play in store and to purchase.
It's been impossible for me to visit and not get lost in fun for hours. Food is great, staff are incredibly approachable and passionate and will help explain any game you're interested in. The worst part of Fantasy Flight is when it's time to go. It's a great place to play games you love and find new games to get excited about.
AWESOME place. Love the games library where you can just sit and play. Food is a little pricy, but it's good. Try the tuxedo hot chocolate.
The game center is great the staff really make this place what it is. They really don t get enough appreciation for all the hard work they put in! Special thanks to Dave for being an absolute rock star!!! He really put in the time, effort, and hard work when this place first opened as the Event Center and pushed it to be the thriving Game Center it is today great work Dave! The GC also offers a lot of space for gaming, and event area, and great menu items!
Not an amazing selection but it's a wonderful place to play games and eat at their cafe
Great game place, friendly staff and lots of comfortable rooms for table top gaming.
FFG Event Center is a great place to hang out and play games. The food is pretty standard, greasy bar fare but nice to have on location. Their store is overpriced, but having a huge game library makes most same day purchases unnecessary. Some great deals can be had on Black Friday and sporadically throughout the year (I just got a couple games for a song). The staff is friendly and helpful and loves games as well.
Great food, wonderful beer selection, and fun atmosphere.
Best gaming location in town. Supplies, food, everything one needs to host a game!
Amazing place. Tons of games that you can play for free, awesome tools for miniature painting, great store front, and good food. Yes, the food is overpriced. But stop and think about all of the FREE stuff available to you there. Many people go here and don't spend a dime, and having such a large space isn't cheap. I'm fine spending a couple dollars extra on certain food items if it means access to so many great free things.
Fun space to play games and hang out. The food is made to order so it's always hot. Adults can enjoy a beer or wine while there too.
The best game shop in North America, bar none. If you get even close to this place, you need to check it out.
Great for hanging out with friends and playing some board games. Food is good and well priced.
Great place to feed your gaming addiction. Magic, Board Games, Miniatures, plus space to try out new games and food and beer.
Best place for best time with friends and family, their food is great too....
Great place to play board games, roleplaying games, or card games like pokemon or Magic. This is a pokemon stop. They provide decent food but be prepared to spend quite a bit.
Great space beer, tons of boardgames to pick, lots of scenery for Warhammer and the like. No complaints.
Unique place to grab a bite and play some amazing games with friends. They have a local library of games to play here, as well as a store that sells new games.
A true gem for gamers of all kinds. The food is amazing and the store is clean and friendly. The staff goes thre extra mile, too. The free games to play are in great condition.
Good food and beer selections and lots of games to borrow!
I always have a great experience at FFG Center, friendly and knowledgable staff, great food at good prices, and plenty of space to play games. What's not to love?
This is a great place to go to buy games and to play them. I prefer this space to source or some of the other local gaming stores, as you have a bit more space and if you plan strategically, can get spaces for playing games that are tucked away and less prone to being drowned out by other tables. Also, the in-house cafe is great, serving a mix of bar-staples (burgers, onion rings, etc.) With more refined fare (fancy salads, delicate desserts, etc.) Also, obviously, Fantasy Flight Games always available here So, yeah. Worth checking out!
Fun place to gather and play games. They have many in stock to borrow, or buy, or bring your own. There is also a little snack bar with sandwiches, cookies, beer, wine, and POUTINE MMMMMMM
Huge fan of this place. It s an awesome place to just hangout for a while and play some games. They have a ton of different ones you can try before you decide if you want to get it or not. The food there is pretty good to and the staff is very nice. Highly recommend if you re a fan of table top games.
The food is overpriced and not very good but it's a great environment and they have a good selection of their games. Parking can be challenging.
Obviously the majority of games stocked were asmodee, but that covers a lot of ground. There was a small offering from other publishers though.
I thought it was very cool to see all the LCG content, but was disappointed that their key forge selection was minimal.
Unfortunately I was only able to visit midweek. Had there been more people or opportunities to take advantage of the space, I would have stayed longer, but... there was a pandemic going on after all.
Cool experience.
Fantastic place to try and play board games!! Great staff too!
two days ago was the first time we visited this good place
Fun place to game. The boardgame library is a great idea. Also the food from their kitchen is pretty good.
I usually go here for Dungeons and Dragons Adventure League and always have found the customers and employees to be friendly and welcoming. However, the food provided, though fairly good in taste, often takes a prolonged time to be fulfilled. Otherwise, it's a good place.
I love that this place exists. I wish I lived closer and could come here more often and play some games with the people who are regulars.
For as big as the place is I thought there would be a better selection of games. Most of the store is used for playing games. They seem to only focus on a few major games. They only cater to card, board, and RPG (D&D, Pathfinder) games. No video games.
A must stop for board game fans. Spend all day gaming here as they have a restaurant and sell good beers.
This is a great place to bring your gaming group or any group of friends who may want to try any type of tabletop gaming! The staff are incredibly kind and very attentive.
Good selection of food, games, demo games, and very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit although it may be hard to find parking!
Fantasy Flight is great. They are biased towards their own games, obviously, but their games are fantastic. Their selection may not be as expansive as others, but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
I mostly come here for Monday night Magic drafts at 1830. Brendan, the organizer, is easily one of the most awesome people I've played with/against. He strives to make sure everyone is poised to have a great time and has been quite successful at learning people's names quickly (and greeting you by name next time!).
I haven't tried their food or drinks, but they're there if you want to!
Clean, open environment for gameplay. Some great "rental" models to play. And good food and drink.
