Fantasy Flight Games Review

Massive public game library and space to sit down and play. The cafe has decent variety of food, not just your standard burgers other fast food junk.

Edit: the food here has gotten plain nasty. 4 years ago, I had my groom's dinner here for my wedding. Today, I stop at McDonald's before coming in. A huge draw of this place was that you could come right after work and not worry about a meal... Now, that benefit is gone, and there are a lot of stores that are just as nice in the cities.

Four years ago: An awesome selection of the best board, card, dexterity, role-playing, and collectible games and their expansions and accessories for sale, plus a HUGE selection of free-to-try games accommodating their spacious, modern play area. Top-rate chefs strive towards a creative & delicious menu, plus tons of drink options. Friendly staff, clean, safe environment... This place has everything you need for a fun night out with friends. You will come back!

Greatest place in Minneapolis if your a board game person.

They have huge tables and a game library, so you can go there and play new games all day long! They have the best French fries ever!

Lovely place, very welcoming for females. The food is good and there is beer. It is a open welcoming wonderful environment. Would recommend for anybody attempting to get into games or any female who wants to feel more welcome in a board game community.

They have a ton of great board games. Plenty of game tables.

Employees are kind and helpful. Bathrooms very well kept with extra supplies available and ladies sanitary items available also. Clean and large space to play games and meet friends. Very large selection of board games to try before you buy. Well organized and prices easily found on the boxes. Full menu of grill dinner and lunch items, full coffee and espresso bar, sweets and snacks, candy/chips/pop, I mean the place has everything. I visit many game stores and I have never been as impressed with one as I am with Fantasy Flight. Very well done, and I plan to visit again soon and make it a regular hangout and gaming stop. I forgot to mention it is also very family friendly, but not overrun by kids.

Table space is free with food and beverages reasonably priced. Great place to go and try out games by many different publishers or bring your own. There was landscape on tables for minatures as well.

Its so much fun I ve only been there once but I already am going to get rides there more regularly!

Great place to play games! I only have one gripe and it's with one of their policies many people feel deteriorates the safety of the patrons...

Super fun place to try out new games! They have a huge selection of games to play or buy, and they also serve food. The only downsides are that they don't serve good coffee, don't allow outside food or drink in, and the games can be pretty dirty/greasy after so many uses. All in all it is well worth a visit!

It's a great game center! They have a fantastic selection of games you can take off the shelf and play, and plenty of room to accommodate a lot of gamers. I love their food and beer selection as well. Overall it's a great place to meet and game with fellow gamers. One word of caution is that this game center, like nearly every other one, will charge MSRP on their games. If you need to be frugal, you might need to budget your purchases, but personally I prefer to patronize the companies I hope stay in business making games.

Pricey food and drinks but decent environment. Lots of free games to play while visiting which is nice if you don't have your own collection. Recommended for weekly gatherings of firends or coworkers for a social game night if you're into that kind of thing.

One if my favorite places to hang out. Large selection of free to play board games that you can demo out before you buy. Big event area with regular events. Full kitchen and snack area with decent prices. Bring some friends or make some new ones here all while trying to outwit and out play them for the win.

Large board game library, free to use on site. Food is quite good too. It can be very noisy at times. I wish they would put in some noise damping ceiling tiles or something. It is still one of my favorite places to visit in the minneapolis area.

I was blown away by this place visiting it with my kids the first time. A warehouse-sized gaming space with loads of free games to play, a kitchen with tasty eats, and beer even? Never would have imagined a delightful place like this would ever exist back in the days I was playing D&D in my pals' basements eating potato chips. Great to be able to test so many games before purchasing them. The kids and I have been back five times since discovering it a few months ago.

I love fantasy flight games. They offer great prices and a wonderful space for playing games, testing new games I might want to buy and an expanding food library. They also publish great games. I'm so excited for legend of the five stars!

Fantasy flight game center is so cool! They have a giant wall of games for you to grab and play for free. You can play these games, or games you brought, to one of the many tables they have set up. They also have a kitchen that serves food for a very reasonable price! Alcohol options are also available. They also frequently host events!

Great selection of board games. Super facility for gaming; large, clean and well lit. High ceilings. Lots of tables and flexibility. Hot, fresh, well prepared food and beverages available. I always get a latte. Fries are amazing. Great selection.

It's like no other place I have been. Would I go again though?

First time going there on Sunday, didn't weird like an outcast, people was friendly, and helpful, foods a lil price but good if it wasn't for the burnt taste in my bones less wings but still tasty, I'm going bak every to every other Sunday for Pathfinders and if I can WoD sessions

Arrived planning for a hour or two of games, left a few hours later... not even mad. Almost spent a fortune to purchase some of the games I found and had never played.

FFG Event Center rocks! Plenty of gaming space, super clean and there s always a tasty treat on the menu. Retail selection tied to newest, latest and greatest. The game library is well organized and shifting to keep hot titles available to try.

Amazing game shop with a large open play area and great selection of games to try from their library. They carry much more than just FFG products and prices are in line with the rest of the market.
Food and drinks are available at the Cafe. Would love to visit again.

This is an amazing store. Customer service was excellent and the game selection is huge. There is a huge area to play games and hang out. They do serve food as well but I cannot speak on that as I got what I needed right away, due to the incredible service, and left happy.

Great space to play games. There is a certain amount of energy with everyone nerding out around two massive rooms to play. There is a built in cafe where you can order food to replenish the reserves and forging on with gameplay. Tournaments are regularly hosted here around Fantasy Flight products.

Great space to meet friends and have a game night. Their food is ok and they have a solid beer selection. They also have a great library of games you can try and test out, or use if you finish the game you brought. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a good place to have a game night I would highly recommend.

A great space for gaming! There are great food and drinks, and there is an entire wall of loaner games to play if you don't want to bring your own!

Lots of space for groups playing whatever their playing, the COFFEE is great just what I needed at 11 A.M. for D&D.

Always love going to Fantasy Flight! I love that there's a place to go where you can try out board games before you buy them. There have definitely been a few games that looked really fun and interested but I didn't really enjoy playing, so o was glad I didn't spend the money on it. There have also been those gone I try once and know that I have to buy it! The food is delicious as well; the gourmet fries are to die for and they always have an excellent selection of drinks.

They have a lot of board games to purchase, star wars, star trek, firefly, you name it I think they have it. They have a little eating area and a big space with plenty of tables to play board games.

So many games and such great food. This is the hole if the Xwing Miniatures Game and where I go first to buy new pieces for my set. There are so many more games than that here, though. Plus their burgers are delicious and you have to try their poutine.

Great family-friendly, clean gaming environment. Love the big, open space, roomy tables, good bathrooms, sturdy chairs... Things other game stores sometimes skimp on, these guys do very well. BIG -1 star on the overpriced food!!!! Good variety but not where you want your dollars to go on a gaming day. Definitely eat before you come, but don't bring it with you or you'll get an unfriendly scolding!

Fantasy Flight Game Center is a great spot to hang out, grab a beer (or not) and play a boardgame. FFGC has an enormous selection of titles to choose from, you won't be disappointed.

Good food. Good selection of games and gaming merchandise. But most importantly, a space for gamers to meet. Specifically, for trading card games, board games, or tabletop RPG - exactly the people who need a space they can meet and hang out.

The worst thing I could say about the place is the food is kind of small for the price, but I don't mind because I feel like the money is going to support a community gathering spot - you can't put a price on that.

What a terrific find. If you like tabletop games and want a place to go find a pickup game this is the spot. Beer, hot food, and plenty of space to play. Even for a family game night, this is a great spot to mix things up.

I recently attended a gaming Convention here. The gaming space is very open and they have good food at the snack bar. The meals are a bit pricey, but satisfying during a day of gaming.

Amazing game store and event center. Great staff, great managers. Clean and welcoming. Feels like a home store even though I am from out of town.
