Fairmont Singapore Review

We stayed in the south tower with a spectacular view of the city. At first impression, the room felt a bit outdated - no usb-charging ports and only one international power outlet. The hub to control the lights and the curtains in the room felt like something from the 80 s. But that didn t take away anything from enjoying our stay. The room had all the other expected amenities and the cleanliness was as expected of a 5-star hotel. Great pool and the location on top of Raffles City super convenient.

The renovated ballroom looks more modern in design. The lighting seems better as well. The food served for company dinner was passable and not memorable. The servers were very prompt to clear plates after every dish, very commendable service. Overall a great venue due to good location.

The afternoon tea set provided at the antidote cafe in Fairmont is superb. I had their special Easter set. It was a little too sweet for me but still very enjoyable overall. It was very filling, I had trouble finishing that day.

Honestly i think fairmont public toilet is really very clean compare to some other hotels public toilets which are very dirty gross and smelly!

Very disappointed. We've always come during my mother's birthday week because we received a very pleasant service on our first stay there, and we've been coming to stay there ever since. Sadly, this time we're met with disappointments. We arrived the day before my mother's birthday (as per usual) only to find out that we'd been moved to Swissotel. Upon entering the room, it's very obvious that the room was smaller than the ones we used to stay at in Fairmont. The next thing was breakfast. We thought that we'd still be having our breakfast in Fairmont because we already paid for the room + breakfast with the expectation of getting "The Fairmont Experience" - but the Fairmont reception explained that since we're staying in Swissotel, we would be getting Swissotel's breakfast. She was polite but her attitude was basically saying "Sorry, you're no longer our problem". I have no problem with Swissotel and their service but we paid in full prior to arrival for the Fairmont experience, but we got a substitute instead. The last thing was the complimentary cake. My mother would usually get a small complimentary birthday cake delivered to her room on the night of her birthday, we were always very thankful by their generosity- another reason why we chose Fairmont. But this year, not even a small card or an email sent her way. It truly felt like Fairmont just kept our money and passed our business to someone else. As I've mentioned before, we chose to stay at Fairmont yearly because it had given us wonderful memories for my mother's birthday and it's a tradition we would like to continue doing but unfortunately, after this unexpected twist of events, highly likely that we won't be going back- just to avoid further disappointments.

I went for the company organised lunch buffet event. It offers halal buffet which is suitable for my muslim colleagues. It's a good for multiracial society such as Singapore.

Good place for families and conducive environment too.

great location near a busy mall and public transportation rooms look jaded though and are in need of an upgrade especially with regards to tech

We started here for a week and must say had a pleasant stay... Best part about it is that it is built over a huge mall which has a variety of restaurants and a huge supermarket. Also you may easily walk to merlion, national art gallery,China Town etc

Meals at Szechuan Court are a delight. Dishes are fresh and flavourful. Service staff are courteous and helpful.

Providing further update on the rating at the Fairmont request , I visit Singapore and Fairmont frequently and I noticed that the hotel requires urgent renovation to its rooms and outlets , I stayed at the 7th floor on this visit , the breakfast restaurants were offered to all guests , however quality of food and representation are not the same in both , I struggled to find cut fruits and yougourt and eggs , staff has been very friendly usually , though I think the room cleaning can improve along with the availability of more human receptionist to help with any challenges as the whole system is now self service , I have spent time on the outlets and they were good , my overall rating is 3 stars since other hotels in the area offer more superior services and infrastructure at the same price

We went there for dinner. The food n service is really very good.

A hotel where you can stay in a Marina Bay Sands View room at a reasonable price. Convenient to go anywhere in the station Chika. I think the front desk is not Japanese. I stayed alone but had 4 bottles of mineral water. However, since the refrigerator was filled with juices, it could not be cooled. The refrigerator bar seems to be charged automatically, so you should be careful. TWG tea was delicious and it was delicious. I stayed on the practice day of Singapore Independence Day so I could see fireworks from my room.

The buffet spread is good along with the credit card promo makes it a vlue for money choice for small gathering with friends.

Good service quality. Like the ambience and decoration. Everything is neat, clean and tidy. Smell a bit musky thou. Situated at a good location but many may get confused with swissotel. Personally feel it's more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel.

Very accessible by the train station City Hall MRT. Just a 5min walk to the marina bay area.

Spacious room of about 45sq foot. Nice view and convenient location.

It is a really good place to help me relax from the long days of work I need to do. I gave it a 4 star because it is a really good accommodation and it even has swimming pools and spa. This is my very first stay in a hotel and I've got to say that it is really good. Do visit and stay as there are many restaurants near the hotel and is really enjoyable.

This is a 5 Star hotel located in the middle of downtown Singapore. If you are looking for the most central location of Singapore, this is the hotel to stay. It's connected to the subway (MRT) and a huge shopping mall that has many restaurants and great shopping.

It pretty much has everything that you would want in a hotel but comes with a steep price tag.

Great food and atmosphere in a central location of downtown Singapore. Explore the adjoining shops or hop across the road for a walk down historical parts of the country.

I was on a work visit to view their ballrooms. Their largest ballroom was pretty impressive with high ceilings and its design creates a pretty nice atmosphere.

Prego at Fairmont is always one of the first choices for meet up with friends. The central location is convenient for everyone. The food is great and ambience is great. We keep going back!

Antidote is an amazing bar, constantly innovating new cocktails and the service is amazing too.

Bad service for Course dinner for Tourist promotions award

The Fairmont Hotel location is very convenient, directly connected to Raffles City Shopping Centre which sits on top of a main MRT station. Also right across from Chijmes centre which has a ton of restaurants.

Nice hotel. Nice view. But, no free WiFi. We need to purchase the package.

A lovely place to stay. The rooms have character & feel warm compared to the Stamford. Comfy beds & clean well looked after facilities. The breakfast buffet is HUGE & yummy! Wonderful views & amazing, quality service. The service provided here is so much better than 5 star hotels in Australia. I even received surprise chocolates for my birthday (& I hadn't told them) with a card personally written on by lobby staff. Will definitely be staying here again!
