Best hotel in the city. Perfect for a vacation or a staycation
We came for the high tea to celebrate a couple of birthdays, and it was amazing! Dont miss it!
Stayed here while visiting town and found it to be a fine hotel. Nothing mind-blowing but clean, classy, and in a central location. Cafe downstairs smells amazing although I haven't had a chance to order there yet. Only thing less than ideal was that the cable TV doesn't really work but I'm not here to watch TV so it's a minor annoyance when sitting in bed. Overall, solid hotel in downtown area and a quick walk to all of the typical downtown activities.
I booked this hotel well in advance, travelling with someone with mobility issues. They didn't have a room for us and we had to find another hotel whilst waiting in their lobby! The hotel caused us a lot of stress but Jessy Wang (manager) sorted out the problem, otherwise it would have been much lower.
There is lot of fraud work done by the local people s of there. They are using the name of this Precious property and give the vacancies in market for applying. I wanna ask to management is there don t have any security. How s the confidential files related to documentation Used the other people s.# General Manager Mr. Mark Treppenhaur. They have lots of mails, contact number.
"Luxurious Elegance Hotel"
+ Hotel lobby is more luxurious than guest rooms. There was an event at the banquet hall the day I was, and most of them had tuxedos and dresses at the entrance. It was like watching a scene in an American movie. In the evening, we have a performance, and the atmosphere here was a little different. It may be because it was the weekend, but there was an event
Rooms were ok
-I was surprised to know that the drunk person was his room at dawn and kept knocking on the door. He complained and took action immediately.
The view wasn't visible from my room
Beautiful hotel and very welcoming. They even allowed my dog to come for a lovely drink. Thank you very much to the staff for making me feel welcome and happy.
One of my favourite Hotel in Seattle, WA area. The rooms are very spacious and the beds delivery a good nights sleep. Everything is perfect there. Highly recommended!!!
The refreshments given in each room are far too pricy for the amount given.
This Fairmont hotel locate at downtown, is a palace style hotel with history renovation. You can easily access to the link light rail and walk to the downtown finicial area.
I have been stayed in three different Fairmont (Banff, Quebec and Seattle), this is the most "SPECIAL" one I have ever stayed. I spent three nights in there, the first day is okay. The second day when we came back to the room, we found that the shampoo and shower gel stuffs didn't get change at all and the floor is a little bit dirty. And the third day, when we came back to the room at 5pm, the room was not ready yet. We contact the customer representative and wish they could finished the cleaning 40 minutes later because we were going out for dinner very soon. However, the housekeeper came at 5:25PM when we were still taking a break. When we came back from dinner, we found that the coffee machine didn't get clean up because we found that the coffee cup was still in the machine and the garbage was is there. Very disappointed about the experience, not worth it as a 5 star hotel....
Clean, beautiful rooms and customer service is at its best on all facets.
Nice rooms, though the hotel is a bit dated which is understandable due it's age. They were doing lots of upgrade and renovations at the time. Really convenient and central location, close to many restaurants and shopping. Pike place market is short walk from the hotel. I tend to stay here when I am in Seattle, just because of the proximity to our Seattle office.
Location, service, rooms and everything is excellent..nice place to stay.
Great venue for our large corporate dinner meeting, with guest speaker Ted Koppel.
We just got home from spending a weekend at Fairmont Olympic Hotel Beautiful hotel and awesome staff.
I had a personal issue and one of their staff, who was heading off shift, went out of her way to come over to me and ask me if I needed assistance. It was late and she didn't hesitate.
We also had been at the Hawks game and ran into some great people. One of them happen to be an employee of the hotel...small world! When we returned to our room, later that evening we had a beautiful cheese platter delivered to our room with just a simple note saying ' enjoy' and 'go hawks'. Thank you Jenn. That was so sweet.
From the doormen, to the reception, to the guests services. Fantastic people! Highly recommend this hotel
Stayed here for business trip and was pleased with friendly staff and great location.
Had breakfast here while on a trip for work. What a fantastic place. Based on how the lobby and dining room were setup, and the level of service I could only imagine what staying there overnight would be like. A new goal! Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend stopping by here!!
had a wonderful stay, used the pool, room was in great shape and quite. plus very friendly staff. great cafe downstairs with amazong croissants and good coffee
Room was very large and had all the amenities. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and outside.
I love the classic architecture of this hotel. Nice quick snacks in the coffee shop and guest services were very helpful and courteous.
The rooms are good
Food is costly
They charge for a toothpaste
The hotel is great to visit during Christmas time. They have plenty of visual sights to see and a great spot to take a photo in front of the large Christmas tree in the lobby.
I recently attended a wedding here. The hotel in beautiful, the ambience is great and food & service were outstanding!
It's really great. Everything clean, nice staff. Only the prices for the drinks in the room are too high.
This is a very high end and classy place. Nice resteraunt and shops. Roasted chestnuts during December. No dress code, but you feel like dressing up when you are there.
Went for the festival of trees. The hotel was impressive the lack of trees for a festival was mediocre.
Stayed here for work, very nice hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms. Make sure you check out the shopping on the bottom floor.
5 star hotel. Views could be better. Decent work out room. Excellent restaurants. Excellent service.
Wonderful hotel in a great location. Excellent for business travelers.
Good not great. Not a 5 star hotel...Not sure it is even a 4 star hotel....Mediocre service all the way from the rooms and upkeep to the restaurant and bar.
I had a very comfortable and happy time at Fairmont Olympic. The front office was super helpful and friendly, room service was punctual and always available, and the room itself was very comfy. Overall, highly recommended!
The best service of any hotel I've ever been to. They made my birthday so special. Their restaurants are also fantastic and everyone I came across was wonderful.
Rooms are very large and comfortable, and the service is great!
Gorgeous architecture. Great drinks at the bar. Phenomenal love music. If you have money to burn, this is great place to burn it!
Beautiful hotel. Fantastic rooms. Very convenient location.
Only negative comment is that there's not a coffee maker in the room.
We went to see the Teddy bear suite. It was very nice.
Upscale hotel. Courteous staff from cleaning staff to management. Hotel look recently renovated. Great walking location to local transit and food.
Never had a better hotel experience. If wifi was free it'd be a 5 star rating from me.
Absolutely breathtaking! Went there for the Festival of Tress and had a wonderful time going through a life size gingerbread house!
Fantastic hotel in every aspect. Service was stellar, rooms were amazing.
Great hotel, perfect location. Staff was excellent.
Great service. Helpful staff. Convenient location to shopping and activities. Upscale feel without the upscale price.
Came here for afternoon theatre drinks. Wonderful specialty drink selection.
In the heart of Downtown Seattle, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is in a great location. It's easy to get to anywhere in Seattle. The rooms are spacious and well priced and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I wish their overnight parking was easier or cheaper, but I guess with public transportation it isn't much of an issue
Immaculate beautiful hotel. The people who work there are so gracious and quick to help, deserving of big tips. All my requests were seen to. Even a slightly early check in time; online and a few phone calls to confirm. But when we actually arrived our suite was not ready. We were immediately comped drinks and food in the lovely bar while we waited. Worth it, yum! The bed amazing, rooms quiet except for city noise outside, room fabulous. I would highly recommend the in- room dining service! So elegant! Can't wait to go back :-)
Beautiful venue for an event. The old style charm is wonderful. I love coming here for high tea. It always feels so elegant
Beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities and shops within.
Love the service and cleanliness. Stayed there for two nights. Well equipped gym and a clean jacuzzi. Very nice restaurants. You should visit both Georgian and Shuckers restaurants.
Excellent staff, very kind and helpful. Answered any questions I had about food and drinks. The service was fast and made sure we had everything we needed.
Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed was extremely comfy!
This is had become my new go-to hotel in seattle, and I've stayed maybe 5-6 times over the last couple of years. It's a nice traditional hotel, with spacious roooms, good food, and great service.
However, in my most recent stay (a week in Jan 2020) I was shocked to discover they have added a $20 nightly room rate on top, for bottled water and coffee? Basically things they previously gave out for free. I think this was mentioned at check-in but in my jetlagged state just off a long-haul flight i must have missed the details.
In any case, i'm heading back to my previous go-to hotel and giving up on the Fairmont Olympic. These kind of hidden charges leave a poor taste in the month, and frankly charging me 20 bucks for a small cheap bottle of still water and a single nespresso capsule is daylight robbery. Very very disappointed.
The location is perfect in the middle of downtown, everything can be reached within walking distance. I loved the Spa and fitness area, it was always tidy and clean. The hotel itself and the rooms are a bit old fashioned.
Contra:
-The towels over the toilet.
-The breakfast is absolutely overpriced and not worth the money at all
This hotel is absolutely stunning. We are in the executive King suite and it's breathtaking. Definitely will be back!!
Unquestionably one off the best hotels in the US--World Class all the way from the auto valet to checkout. Wonderful room details, great food and extremely attentive service from every staffer. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
Great place for PAX. We went there to eat at Shuckers which was an upscale restaurant. Scallops were great and we will definitely come back!
I just love grand classic architecture like this, and my experience was a wedding in three different areas that were each magnificent. This refers to the Spanish ballroom, the Georgian room and the grand foyer outside of the ballroom.
Fairmont Hotel is a premiere destination in Seattle. Just down the block from the 5th Avenue Theater and central to downtown and the convention center. Shuckers restaurant is top notch. It's a beautiful hotel and wonderful place to dine.
Place is beautiful. Very clean, upscale. Great s staff
Overall good. Bathrooms imperfect with no fan. Front desk refused to provide a rollaway bed.
Shuckers Restaurant served us an impeccable cuisine with stupendous service. Hostess even charged my phone and brought it back as soon as it was fully charged. Amazing seafood options and variety.
