Trendy vintage hotel with friendly staff. The rooms have been recently renovated but still seem a little old for the rental rate.

First, let me say the Georgian Room was a beautiful dining experience -the the food and staff were excellent. The overall appearance of the hotel is impressive, but oh dear, the room I was allocated was awful. Small and dingy with worn and grubby furniture. I hate complaining and I didn't at the time but after going on to two other hotel on my trip where the rooms were so superior, for the same rate, I felt I should say something. Sorry Fairmont, I shan't be staying at your hotels in future.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating while we were here for a wedding reception. The catering was delicious and the bartenders waiters were truly hospitable.
One great feature is that there was inexpensive parking diagonal from the hotel.

I loved my weekend stay at the Fairmont. Room was very clean and big. Service was very fast and attentive. The Fairmont offers shuttle to any destination within 1 mile, service is first come first serve to all hotel guests. Very convenient especially if you're an out of town guest.

This is a truly wonderful hotel. All aspects of service, which includes check-in and check-out, was great. Every time you walk into the hotel *all* the staff looks at you and greets you with a smile. The room is clean, well-serviced, and convenient. Location is good.

The Fairmont works pretty well as a convention location. For BlogHer Food, the location was spot-on: breakfast was excellent both in presentation and taste, and the snacks were killer. From meringues to popcorn to gazpacho, to the most adorable individual greek yogurt cups with edible flowers, it was tantalizing. As for the room space, it needed more tech access - 400 people all trying to charge phones can be tricky - but that can be fixed.

Fantastic Customer Service over the phone! It was a pleassure speaking with the Booking Staff on the phone. Booking a hotel room over the phone is normally a mundane task, but I enjoyed the call so much that I came to Google to write a positive review becasue the call brightened my day.

We had the Holiday Tea at The Georgian Room at the Fairmont Hotel. The room is gorgeous, the service and menu is very traditional for a formal tea, the food was good but could have been better... fresher and more flavorful, for the $75 per person price tag.

I visited the Georgian for afternoon tea and I loved it. The selection of teas is excellent and the food is amazing. I especially enjoyed the scones.

While the bed is very comfortable, the room itself is long overdue for a remodel. The furniture and carpets are rather worn and faded and are reminiscent of the 1950's ... But not in a good way. I was given an "executive suite" on the third floor and the traffic noise kept me from sleeping in. The beeping from the city bus raising up and down was ridiculous. I am glad I only book this hotel for one night a sit is not even close to worth the nearly $400 I spent to stay here.

Great hotel, very interesting architecture, well maintained, friendly, food is good but drink very often over price; would have given it a 4 star rating if beverages were not so over priced.

My husband & I stayed at the Fairmont Seattle on the 2nd floor, we were having a hard time sleeping. I was up most of the night, "Big Thanks to that woman at the front desk !!".
The windows are not sound-proof. On top of everything from the busy street, there is a clinking noise (from a pipe ?) repeatedly happened every hour, it last about 10 mins each time, and it's a few seconds apart from each other.
The minute you step out the hallway, there's a strong smell of chlorine.
The sofa, cushions and curtains gave you a feeling of a 90 yrs old grandma's home.
The rooms at Westin Seattle is far more modern and comfortable.

Went to a wedding there. Saw one of the suites. Beautifully decorated and the beds were massive. It's right next to some other tall buildings so if view is important to you then be sure to check with the staff about which side your room is on. The layout is a bit confusing but the amount of space for social events was exceptional. The ceremony was in one banquet room, the pre-reception cocktails a second, and the reception a third. You get what you pay for at this hotel, and in this case that's a lot. Enjoy your stay!

We are just completing a two night stay at Fairmont. The check-in was smooth and marvelous. Our standby upgrade was completed and request for dog bed taken care of. We requested a bowl and water for our pup at check-in. Upon returning to our room that evening, we found a neat little bowl with two Evian water bottles and some chef baked cookies. It was very sweet and thoughtful. Service throughout our stay has been wonderful and the renovation makes it modern while still retaining some of its old charm The hotel also provides le labo for it's toiletries which we loved. Fairmont Olympic will be our top choice for any future stays at Seattle...

We've been to other Accor hotels but this is the greatest hotel we've stayed in, so far. Greatest service we've ever experienced! From the receptionist, SAYAKA, gave her best service that she could. A very accommodating and cheerful staff I've met. Doorman, IRD and Housekeeping department thumbs up! We feel so safe during our stay. Thank you all for making our stay memorable! Thank you Mr. Renee Wigner for the greetings and a sweet gift for our anniversary!

Stayed here in early February 2014 and had a fabulous time! The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Housekeeping did a great job and our room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable. My only wish was that the health center would stay open longer for late night hot tub/sauna to warm up! All in all a great experience. I would highly recommend staying there.

I stayed here for a business trip and the staff were nice and quick to any request. Room is nice and clean. One issue I had was the toilet did not flush correctly and they did tried to fix it it still did not flush all the waste down with 1 flush. I was in a room on the 2nd floor. They do have a nice gym/ pool on the 2nd floor that is available to all guests till 10 pm which was very nice. Overall not a bad experience.

We are here for 2 days before a cruise. The hotel was arranged by the cruise line. We are from the east coast and knew nothing about it.
We are thrilled. It's a magnificent hotel from the 1920s. The public places have high ceilings, beautiful woodwork, chandeliers, plants and flowers. The room is large, clean, up to date and comfortable.
The hotel staff is amazing from the door man to the bell hops, the front desk and waiters. We had a late room service dinner last night as we had a long traveling day. The food was brought to our room on a table with the food, drinks and everything we needed. Food was hot and excellent.
Bed was big and comfortable
This morning we had breakfast in The Georgian dinning room. Professional service, attentive and efficient. The food was excellent.
Lunch was in The Terrace Restaurant. A cheese tray with different crackers, 3 types of cheese, honey, nuts and red grapes.
This evening will will have dinner in Shuckers, their seafood restaurant. Looking forward to it.
It has been a wonderfull experience.

For the price, it is a very poor hotel. I personally didn't like it at all. There is no complimentary breakfast, which is still fine. But everything else is also way too over priced. Even a single bottle of water kept in the room costs $9 + taxes. Also, the room I got was so dusty!! I just sat on the bed and there was so much dust and lint everywhere flying around! It was just disgusting. Bathroom fittings are uncomfortable to use and shower hardly has any force to the water. Main door is way too hard to open and hold. Worst of all was the air conditioning. The vents are along windows BEHIND THE CURTAINS!! So basically, you can either control the room temperature or you can keep the curtains closed, you cannot do both of them. I don't like keeping the curtains open so I closed them and as a result, despite keeping temperature at 55, I was sweating because all the cool air was behind the curtain!! On the whole, I had a pretty bad experience staying here. I was here just for 2 nights and had come for interviewing. So didn't want to distract myself with unnecessary arguments with the management. Hence didn't inform about these to anyone. Just left as soon as my work there was done. Will avoid staying here in the future.

The location is very central to attractions, and easy to get around by transit or uber. The building seems a little tired, but the staff were very pleasant and there was a lot of amenities available. The view left a lot to be desired as it looked onto the roof. Room service was prompt and delicious - beer battered halibut, chicken noodle soup, and dessert - and was reasonably priced.
