The best hotel in Baku ..... his problem does not have reservations easily

The monument par excellence of the city. Distinctive sign and recognizable from every part of the city and also from the plane. Too bad you can't go to the top without a room in the hotel but even just sipping a coffee inside the gallery deserves for the widespread elegance they put into making it and taking care of the details

The best hotel in Azerbaijan without thinking or even go to the other hotels, everything was nice there (and the FOOD of course), but we (my family) went there definitely the wrong time, there were alot of VIP People, there were "i think" prime ministers of other countries, overall. Its the best hotel i've been to

Sadly the hotel is not up to Fairmont standards. Having stayed at Fairmont The Palm in Dubai and in Monte Carlo several times, this comes not even close to the others when it comes to services. We booked Fairmont Gold One bedroom Suite, upon arrival we were invited to go up to the 19th floor where there was nobody to greet us at the reception desk, after having waited for 5 min I found the waiter in the Gold Lounge and asked him to call someone. Then check in was ok, went out for lunch and came back at 3 pm, room was not ready yet, waited another one hour to move in. We found disgusting stains, like oil or cream spread on the inner side of the room door, glass marks on the shelf, dust on the desk and threads on the carpet. I do not know what took so long for housekeeping if they left the suite in such bad condition. We booked for 3 persons, the extra bed was not there, then in the evening we realized that big bath towels were also missing. Very disappointing. Next morning on the way for breakfast found vomit in the middle of the corridor nearby the lifts, informed guest services, on the way back to our room saw that despite most has been cleaned, bits and pieces were still there on the floor and on the wall. Disgusting. In the room you have to wait 2-3 min until the water gets warm, that is unacceptable in an almost brand new hotel.

Worst 5 start hotel I've ever stayed in. Terrible air conditioning in the building and I visited in summer 2017. Believe me this hotel has not been maintained since it was built do I recommend any other hotel in town other than the fairmont!

**An update: I just checked out of this horrible hotel and the guy in reception finally admitted that the air condition system in the hotel is down and damaged from a week ago and he told me that technetians are coming from Canada to fix the problem! The management should at least stop booking guests in until they fix their ac and fix their service with their ac system.

Everything is perfect except the reception staff is so bad

This is a great family-friendly hotel with rooms overlooking Baku. But it is a disadvantage to distance from the center

We were robbed at your hotel. When we went out for breakfast and the service staff came into our room and took about 100 thousand, the police detained the criminal. But I will never stay at your hotel again. If there was a lower score, I would put it.

The Fairmont Baku Hotel, the torch ... was designed in the form of burners or flame the fire .. As the word Azerbaijan means the fire of the abundance of oil, so that there are as burners said to have thousands of years and still luxurious 5-star luxury with stunning views of the Caspian Sea and the crowded streets of cafes and you need Until I booked in advance, I did not find any rooms because the reservation must be early, and the prices are high because of the large demand

I stayed there for 4 days the hotel is great luxurious with great views and also not expensive at all if your coming to baku stay here highly recommend

Beautiful place to see or rather a must see place at night.one can see the beautiful baku city on the backdrop of the ocean.well maintained and well lit.quite a romantic place too with the dimmed light giving it an aura.the Martyrs burial place is also see with their pics

The receptionists tried to fool me more than once to take a fine smoking with the knowledge I do not smoke and maintenance and cleaning rooms hit more than once that settled right in the smell of the carpets of the entrance and the life of those who call bad from bad Breakfast less than normal

Beautiful hotel with a very nice view of the city and the sea, the very kind multilingual staff (Russian / English), excellent cleaning and the tasty and rich breakfast with typical and traditional dishes. Baku is a beautiful city, well cared for and clean.

I've booked double room for two person but I was alone, and when my friend come to the room they charge me 60 manat, at checking they said Its free if only one person came then they charged me

The flame towers of the new Baku features the accommodation was very pleasant and clean

You can find here all the facilities of a 5 star property and Fairmount standards.

Good hotel. Especially the view from the upper floors. Good business plan. But the total service up to 5 stars does not reach

The staff are very bad .. i paid a lot 300 manat = 150 $ for damage towels .. I would advise everyone to take care of the property of the hotel where I was forced to pay $ 150 on the pretext that the towels in the bathroom were damaged and expensive and come from Canada

Modern high quality hotel and gentel managers on duty who will accommodate and escorts u very smoothly, has nice spa and a professional massage with khadija, rooms are modern and well furnished, breakfast has great variety and delicious taste options ( british, continental and fruits), room service food was also great, lamb chobs and burgers, swimming pool is perfect also has nice souna and steam rooms.. really was a great option as its close to main attractions in baku,

The hotel is nice, beautiful view. There is a spa and fitness. There are small nuances. On the day of departure, starting at 10 a.m., we were regularly reminded that we were leaving today , the cleaners went into both of our rooms 4 times, and were surprised that we were still there. Half an hour after paying the bills and issuing the check, at 11-10, they still called and informed us that the discharge time was right. In general, on the last day the service was intrusive. In the car that drove us to the airport, we sat with the whole family 11-50. And I also want to note that it was necessary to refresh the bedding it was in the spools of the wash.

The typical 5 star hotel...not extraordinary ...the service is good, the restaurant as well ...but the rooms were not amazing ..( the bed sheets were not smooth and the bathrooms were not properly cleaned).

Great location, flame towers... try the restaurant at the top floor and you will enjoy the best view of the area.

The hotel is situated on a prestigious hill overlooking Baku. Features luxury and spacious rooms. The accommodation is excellent and the bed is very comfortable. It is also quiet and well treated by the hospitality staff. Taxi service is available and cheap. There is an on-site tour desk. The rooms are very well appointed. I would highly recommend it.
There is one drawback, which is to prevent swimmers from wearing the Burkinian dressing gown for conservative families.

Amazing stay at Fairmont Baku. Nothing can beat this hotel.
Its a landmark in Baku and staying in it gives an outstanding experience.

The staff are very hospitable, nicely, and kind , rooms also very clean and good , smell good , have nice view on Caspian sea .

In the hotel rooms was not and about the service I can not say anything, but on the 3rd floor there is a wonderful place. Jazz Club. Not cheap, but worthy of attention. Good live music, well-trained staff and delicious cocktails.

We stayed in April in two hotels in Baku, one of the hotels was Fairmont.

Fairmont is a great hotel overlooking the city, ask to be given a room with a sea view, preferably above the 18th floor.

We were given a great big room with a sea view.

the room had a nespresso coffee pot with capsules (although most of the capsules were with decafeinate), a teapot with several types of tea (although there was only 1 black tea packet, the rest with bergamot, thyme and fruit).

The bathroom and toilet were clean, although I had to call the reception desk 5-6 times to get toothbrushes and toothpaste.

My wife and I put our used toothbrushes in separate water cups.

when they clean the hotel, the workers for some reason think that they know better what we need and put these brushes in one glass, in the end we have to throw them out.

and these same workers, when they change everything at the hotel, see these brushes, believe that we do not need new brushes.

so we had to call the reception every time after cleaning, so that new brushes were brought to us.

the hotel has a very nice pool, though small, probably 25 m long

3 minuses in this hotel:

1 - no balconies to go out for some fresh air.

2 - expensive breakfasts - 42 azn per person ($ 25), that is, breakfast for two will cost you $ 50.

if your company pays for you, it doesn t give a damn, but if you pay yourself, then leave the hotel, walk down 500-800 meters and down in Icheri Shahyar for 10-15 dollars you will get breakfast 100 times better than in a hotel.

3 - cleaners change brushes as they want.

if you pay directly to the hotel, and not via the booking com, you will get a good discount

Nice hotel !! Amazing views, quick checkin. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, great service. Fast wifi but no english tv channels apart from news & sport. Got a room on 26th Floor but sound proofing weak, it was a windy day during our stay and constant banging on windows due to strong winds. Would definitely stay again but in a room where there is no wind noice.

Unchallenged! Especially if you are in the 20th floor and long-term suites. A four-star hotel with Guleryuzlu and helpful staff
