My favorite place to visit in Seattle! The museum has something for everyone. I geeked out in the Movie Fantasy area - think of Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Harry Potter. Then of course, the music... Nirvana, Prince, Jimmy Hendrix. I seriously spent almost 7 hours touring the museum and I feel like there was still things I didn t see. Definitely a must if you visit Seattle!

Perfect for families with teens. It was especially fun to see ours enjoying the hands on opportunitoes in the music lab. Traveling exhibits rotate and make every return trip unique. If we lived closer, this is a museum I'd join as a member.

This was an amazing place to see! There are different attractions from musical, sci-fyi, and marvel (which is highly recommended). You are not allowed to bring food or water but you are able to check in certain belongings at the front entrance (strollers, umbrellas, large bags, etc.) There are gift shops for last minute suvoniers. Lots to see here so make sure you see everything!

This place is really cool and fun, and the Marvel exhibit is awesome! Unfortunately, we missed out on two parts I would have loved to see/do.

The SoundLab, also on the third floor, seemed really cool but was unmonitored and unmaintained. We couldn't figure out how to get music to play in the singing room, and there was no one there to ask.

We still enjoyed our visit, but wish we could have experienced all it had to offer.

The price point might seem steep, but it really is worth it. The word I'd use to describe MoPop is expansive. The exhibits are so well done, each one feels like stepping into another museum of their own. The items on show and the accompanying videos, graphics, and scenery of the exhibits are astonishingly good. This is definitely a must-see in my book

Lots of movie, less music. But what is here on film props is already awesome. From fantasy, sci-fi or horror all blockbusters are represented. And for fans of Pearl Jam anyway a must.

Interesting architecture, in and out. Smaller exhibit areas than expected, with vast open spaces inside. Certain exhibits feel a bit gimmicky and more suited for children or teens. Still a wealth of information and a good way to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day (which is every day in Seattle).

Each time I visited Seattle, it was a must to go visit this museum. I love how some exhibits are permanent and how there is always something different. This place is great to go to with or without kids. It brings the inner child out. It's not just a plain walk through museum but most exhibits are interactive and you still learn a lot.

It's a must to go and check out when in Seattle.

Always something for everyone. Clean, fun environment. Great for visiting family or any fan of pop culture. I'm a local and the special exhibitions are really special. Looking forward to their next one-on Prince!

It was way better as the EMP. I get that it's Seattle but only having a small Hendrix and Nirvana exhibit sucked. Pearl Jam was decent sized and eent way back in time. Loved the Andy Wood stuff! Other exhibits were very hard to follow. Half of it could be missed. Top floor to bottom floor etc. Too many stairs and little signage for elevators.

A great place to spend a few hours. The discount using Citypass made it worthwhile.
The Horror and Sci-fi exhibits are superb.
A star removed as the only food available was at the expensive Wolfgang Puck place on the ground floor. It was nice, but there wasn't much choice.
Incidentally, I was surprised at how small the shop is. Still, I bought a fridge magnet, so all is good.
Apologies for the photos.

If you're looking for hours of fun and learning then you'll find it here at the Museum of Pop Culture.

When I visited I saw the Star Trek exhibit and it was totally worth the ticket price. I was very impressed with the history collected and effort put into presenting all the wardrobes. The transporter room was also really cool to do.

Beyond the special exhibits you'll find Rock concerts, music videos, and of course food. This place is hot, so bring a light jacket and bottle water.

This place was really cool. Although I'm not much into music history, I still found this place to be quite interesting & informative. They have a huge display of various musical instruments but especially guitars of famous musicians.

We were excited to go here until we saw the price per person $30. This is just absurd and completely not worth it. I think Paul Allen would not be very happy with what s going on here now. Very disappointing!

I loved! If you are a fan of Star Trek, you have to visit it, hehe. Also, they have a section dedicated to Kurt Cobain, which is great. In short, in this museum you can find from the original jacket of Indiana Jones to the dress of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. And also, there is a section dedicated to music, where you can play different instruments, it's fun, hehe.

A great way to experience some of the most iconic and influential cultural players in our lifetime. Super interesting. If you are a Hendrix, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or music fan, come here. Also, there are wonderful movie and fashion exhibits.

I was hesitant to go to the EMP Museum as I thought that it was entirely music-focussed. This ended up being the highlight of my trip. I never expected to get so excited by the Star Trek exhibit but it was amazing! I also really enjoyed the wearable art.

Such an amazing way to spend an afternoon. The exhibits we're fantastic, and I learned a lot of very interesting things about some of my favourite movies and artists. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Seattle!

Best museum I've ever been to. Out of all the places I've been to in my two week trip to Seattle this museum is the most memorable. Not only that in my top recommended locations to visit this is definitely in the top 3. This is paradise for typical sci-fi nerds like me.

It s a neat place for people who love music and entertainment. I brought my little sisters here and they loved every part of the museum, due to the numerous amounts of interactive displays and photo opportunities. The only complaint I have is that the museum feels a bit small, and the exhibits try to compensate with intruding architecture and the way they place the walls and displays, which makes walking around feel like a crowded maze.

As a visitor to Seattle I'm glad I got to see this museum. The exhibits were all incredible. I didn't know what to expect, but I saw a horror, fantasy, science fiction, Prince, Pearl Jam and an Indie Game exhibit. There's definitely something for everyone here

If you re super into Seattle history and culture or you ll find this museum interesting.

I enjoyed looking at all of the artifacts that they have but overall I found the variety quite disappointing.

The museum is very small with a lot of stairs. There s not much variety or exciting things to see.
That said, for Instagrammers I think it s a must visit because there s plenty of Instagramable areas to go.

I love this museum and I am a huge fan of Rock & Roll history. This is probably the best museum I've ever been to, honestly. They say it's the house that Jimi Hendrix built and it houses a very nice collection of Rock n Roll memorabilia of his and other Rockstars.

It's great on a date or with the whole family. The whole family can pick up an actual lead guitar, drum sticks, bass, keyboard, or be your favorite lead singer, on an interactive stage, to see what it is like to be a Rockstar. Oh, we rocked it. It's a must see if you're touring the city of Seattle.

I loved this museum since I have always listened to Rock music and grunge rock in specific! They have an exhibit about Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix! Also, they have interactive rooms where you can play music, I chose the guitar for sure. They have game rooms as well and it's located right behind the Space Needle! The architucture is very special and tje design of the place is gorgeous!

If it weren't for the Nirvana exhibit, I'd take a star or two off. Considering that said exhibit almost viscerally connects viewers to the greatest rock band of all time, it's well worth the price of admission.
