This is such an excellent museum. Exhibits change often, always intriguing subjects. If I lived closer, I would for sure have a membership. The building itself is stunning, and the grounds around it are perfect for exploring. Well worth the admission, every time. Thoughtful, engaging and well-thought out exhibits that show the curators really care about and are into what they display. So much fun! A Seattle must do.

This is a very interesting museum. Definitely with a visit of you are in Seattle. Lots of pop culture and music thinks which are nice for millennials.

Many interactive exhibits didn't work, or were missing necessary pieces.

Everything that's hip, popular, cool, and or otherwise awesome, they have!

This museum was a lot of fun....it has many exhibits and fun things to explore. I recommend this for families with older children and especially people who love music and sci-fi.

Great place to go back and learn about music and see artifacts. Kind of pricey

Good place to spend a couple of hours for the young and not so young

We actually stumbled across this museum and didn't expect much from it. However, we were blown away by it. It was one the highlights from our Seattle trip. We were suprised by all the cool and well crafted exhibits. If you are Jim Henson's fan, you will love their collection. They had tons of exhibits such as star trek, horror movies, and really neat props from popular classic movies. It was an absolutely wonderful experience overall.

I have heard great things about the Mopop but I was so let down. You really have to be a big fan of what they have on exhibit to enjoy it. And with the expensive price point you have to know ahead what you're getting so you don't end up feeling ripped off like we did. When I went with my 3 kids (8,6,2) and my in-laws the main largest exhibits were David Bowie, evolutions of guitars and video gaming, Jimmy Hendrix, and Star Trek. After an hour we were all done. I have never seen a Star Trek episode and I'm not into David Bowie or Jimmy Hendrix. My in laws are In their 70s and they weren't impressed with lack of variety of the exhibits. There is so much more to pop culture than music which was like 75% of the museum. I personally was most excited for the video game exhibit and was so let down. There were a bunch of different monitors with different games you could play and 3 larger areas for wii type interactive games. We went on a week day and this place was packed (probably because its the only place remotely fun for kids). We tried out 4 games and the monitors were all frozen saying they were loading. There weren't any employees anywhere in sight to assist. Sadly we didn't get to even try anything because the same 10 kids wouldn't get off the only games that were working. It would have been so neat if they had the option to try out different gaming systems from the past but it wasn't like that at all. I would save your money and instead go to the science center unless you're a die hard David Bowie fan that wants to see 200 pictures of him.

A fun place for the whole family. Going threw scared to death is always fun or visiting their speciality exhibit is always fun and super informative.

Really impressed with how they adhere to social distancing and safety. A great rainy day activity for Seattle!

An incredible museum, a must see in Seattle. You can get $2 off of your ticket if you purchase it online and there is a discount for students. Make sure to check out the Sound Lab on third floor. You can play with different instruments and have lots of fun.

Freaky architecture to look at! Lots of stuff for kids to play with.

Love this place. Pearl Jam exhibit was top notch. Make sure you go down and check out the horror exhibit as well!!

A mixed experience. I loved it. Others in my party were indifferent.

Amazing. The room of the history of the evolution of guitars is super interesting, the interactive room is for those who know how to play an instrument, I do not know if it is temporary, the Jimmy Hendrix room is a gem because of the letters it has and the photos.

I did not like pop music, I guess this is why I did not like it.

Excellent museum for music lovers. Food, beer and gift shops. This also has sections that cater to fans of scifi and horror movies. You can also get some studio time with the instruments. Take time to stop in and have fun.

If you love a museum that's a full of history, music, and interactive exhibits, MoPop will not disappoint!

Super cool place! I just didn't like the unorganized layout. The cafe has really good food and the exhibits are really fun and informative.

Interesting to see things from famous movies. But it is one-time-visit museum. It won't be interesting to come second or third time.

Cool Place with lots to do.. plan on spending awhile there, it does get really crowded.

Saw the Marvel exhibit, plus Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, and the Sci Fi HoF. Spent 3+ hours touring. Phenomenal displays & gift shop prices were quite reasonable. We each got a souvenier amd spent less than $20.

A great place to stop in Seattle and spend a few hours if you're interested in Sci-Fi, music, gaming, fantasy, and/or everything else popular culture! Rght next to the Space Needle and Monorail for convenient additional fun!

Great museum, specially the sound lab is awesome! A little bit expensive...

Pretty fun! A lot of walking and stairs and I would have given it 5 stars since most staff was super nice and helpful, however there was one guy who very much was not.

I haven't seen that much trash together in a long time.

I'm a smarter person for visiting. Engaging and intriguing, will return again.

Love this place! Take your whole family if you can. The memberships are worth it! Just wish they were a little cheaper but I the cost is paid for in 1 to 2 trips.

uh first and foremost I'd like to say that I think it's super lame that this museum has LITERALLY NOTHING ABOUT THE GERMAN INDUSTRIAL/ELECTRONIC BAND KMFDM, KMFDM is the most important band in the underground industrial scene, everyone who's a rivet-head or even likes industrial/electriconic music knows KMFDM sucks. now that I've got that out of the way this museum is a must skip, there is LITERALLY NOTHING original in here, all of it is replicas of famous props that probably cost twenty bucks, they should call this the museum of; lies, disappointment, and wasted space.

Great experience, great customer service and overall a good experience for fans of Seattles best of rock and horror.

A lot to explore for anyone who is interested in games, science fiction movies, and music. There are many interactive demonstrations that really enhance the situation. Highly recommended to check out when you're visiting Seattle!

The Star Trek exhibit was closed. And they didn't bother to tell us when we bought our tickets. Out of this world terrible! The rest of the museum was ok, but we probably had more fun playing the Nintendo Switch demo kiosk than anything else.

Fun for the entire family. We were there for 6 hours exploring. The Jim Henson exhibit was awesome and worth the extra $. The ticket is a sticker you wear and gives you access to the museum for the entire day. We walked across the street and had a sandwich at the McDonald's about half way through our day (great way to save a little money). Great photo opportunities throughout the museum.

You cannot miss this stunning museum, it's an experience

Interesting place to visit. The horror section was by far my favorite and had tons of cool movie props. The only disappointment was that a lot of the games in the indie game section were not working. Same with a few of the other displays in other areas. Still neat to check out though.

Fu place to spend time. They re always bringing new exhibits in - this visit I really enjoyed the Jim Henson section. Nice cafe and shop too..

A lot of really cool things to see, like the Nirvana and Pearl Jam exhibits. Not to mention the massive Guitar Jenga "sculpture" It was a well spent afternoon.

I was going in to the MoPop museum with high hopes and I was let down when I went inside. It is really not as big as it looks. My favorite part was the sound lab it was a cool place where you can play loads of different instruments and even record yourself. It was expensive for amount and quality of content provided inside of the museum. I recommend going here if you love pop culture but if you just need something to do I recommend going to one of the many other places!

Such an amazing experience! The new Marvel exhibit is outstanding! A definite must see for fans and passerbys alike. I also really enjoyed the sound lab where you can record music and try out different instruments. Family friendly and extremely engaging! I definitely would go again!

I came to Seattle knowing nothing, so I looked up the top things to do in Seattle and this was one of my favorites. I think my husband and I spent 4 hours there on a rainy Wednesday and took a short break only to eat lunch right there at Wolfgang Pucks. I wouldn't mind going back. Top notch stuff, especially - well everything. Thanks!

Great exhibits love Nirvana Jimi Hendrix and I wanted to talk to my husband about going to start track exhibits but he said no lol

Wow! We spent like 4 hours and left just because we were too tired. This a great place for anyone born in the 80s

Despite being a native Seattlite this was my first time and I was blown away. Becoming a member.

It was a great experience. We saw the marvel exhibit and glass museum separately. The general admission and marvel exhibit was great. There were ton of different movie and tv show artifacts from all different times. The Wizard of oz,walking dead,princess bride, game of thrones and lots of sci-fi stuff. The needle is right by the museums as well and gives a chance to take great pictures.

The exhibits here are really great. They are interesting and include lots of really cool artifacts. I recommend checking out the Nirvana and the Horror Film exhibit. However, this place is a little on the pricey side.

Merch was WAYY too overpriced but was otherwise a fantastic experience. A must-see for anyone who grew up with television, movies, music, and/or video games.

Loved the exhibits! They are interesting and interactive. There are some collections of items of pop culture as well. The music room and gaming zone are particularly crowded parts where visitors can actively participate and play the instruments and games. They are interesting for kids of all ages! :)

Well designed, clean, and informative... it touches on a specific selected nitch of pop culture, u will see what they have intended u to see, trouble is if your not a fan of certain selections, it can leave u wanting. For example, I am a huge movie buff and not so much into music and felt left out while my wife was astounded...

Amazing museum in Seattle! Visited the Minecraft exhibit and wow! It s a must to check it out if you re into the game. Lots of things to do, one day is not enough.

If you like music, it is a good place to practice and have fun with the instruments and musical equipment that are in the place. And right now the Marvels are on display. There is also good food.

Interesting museum. As a huge fan, I loved the part about Nirvana, and the horror section. The other sections were interesting too : fantastic and sci-fi, Jimi Hendrix, original video games, ... Spent 2 and a half hours there and had to leave because of the closure... would have to come back on another trip in Seattle :)

This place was pretty cool, easily spend an entire day, the marvel exhibition wasn't that great could go without seeing it :)

This is the best museum I have ever been to! Cutting edge displays fused with pop culture. A must visit while you're in Seattle.

A proper nerd and music fan paradise, located next to the famous Space Needle. Spread over several floors the museum has many original props and costumes (everything from Star Wars to Gremlins to Marvel) and many original instruments from the likes of Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix (check out their tower of guitars!) . You'll also find interactive hands-on exhibits for making music or just having fun with the family.

Interesting but a bit pricey for what you get to see. Wish I'd have skipped it.
