Worth the time to see the memorabilia. Also some fun street performers outside.

Seemed clean and well put together. The content was just really boring. Not even close to worth the price of admission.
Wish they would control how many people they let in at a time...it was soooo packed that you are constantly competing for time to enjoy each part of the museum.
Be sure to check out the Jim Henson exhibit. Its an extra 5 dollars, but it is totally worth it.
yup, ,this place has evrything for everybody. cant wait for theor queen exhibit. we will be back for it.
Entertaining museum with exhibits on music, sci-fi, film, and video games.
We went for the Marvel exhibit it was pretty cool to have so much memorabilia in one place. My son liked the interactive gaming piece of course. Seeing some of the old fashioned movies and TV shows brought back a lot of memories.
Way over priced. Exhibits are a little on the boring side.
They up charge for everything.
Definitely not worth the money or time.
If you are in Seattle, do;
See the Space Needle
The Museum of Flight is a "Must Do"
The Boeing factory tour is also an awesome time.
Amazing experience! Especially loved the fantasy section. Would visit again for sure.
It's so cool also the people at the front desk is so nice I love it and u
Beautiful Museum, if you are interested to know about POP culture that is the place to be, the shape only of the Museum is an Art itself....
Best vacation EVER!!! We could have spent the entire day at MoPop! Loved it & highly recommend it, fun for all ages!
This place is my home away from home_ Sky Church is so awesome! the list goes on.. Looking forward to
going there again.
Wow, so much to see loved the prince exhibit, the crazy art! Well worth the time!
Premier pop culture museum. A fun and well-curated experience in an architectural standout.
Takes about 3-4 hours to see everything, has a pretty nice bar.
Good place to get some nostalgia, horror and sci-fi section is best.
It was a good experience, very unique collection of horror and Si-fi exhibition. There are also music rooms and machines that teaches you different aspect of music creation! I wish there is more for the price of the ticket, I hope they expand.
Amazing and very interactive. You could spend a day here and enjoy every single second, and I'm not a music fan.
The movie sections are amazing
It was a cool place to see but if you have a packed day in Seattle, this is one you could probably cross off the list. If you are really into classic rock, you ll have a lot to see but I was bored because that isn t my style.
Pearl Jam, Prince, fantasy, and so much more. Amazing.
Super cool if you're an artsy pop culture nerd. Fun but pricey. So much stuff to do
Great museam for those that like pop culture and music
Great horror and sci fi exhibits. Marvel exhibit is worth the trip itself. My teens loved it.
Great atmosphere. Positive experience. Very exciting.
If you are a rock fan who likes Jimi Hendrix or Nirvana, this is the place to go.
If you're a fan of any famous fantasy movies (lord of the rings, wizard of oz) go there now!
Loved this museum as someone visiting. The Nirvana and Hendrix exhibits were awesome. Very cool sci-fi and horror exhibits too. Reasonably priced and not too expansive that you can at least see everything in a couple hours.
Soooooo many exhibits to see. In one exhibit I tried a variety of instruments. I even learned how to make a hook for a song on a keyboard! My wife enjoyed the exhibit on Prince and Pearl Jam. My daughter was thrilled with the exhibit on the genre of fantasy in both film and books. I took a quiz in this exhibit dot-dot-dot Apparently I am a Warbringer! There is always something new to see. Parking is close by but it is paid parking. The staff is very helpful and the washrooms are clean. I love this place!
I can't explain what an awesome experience this is. For any lover of Pop culture in any form, this museum will be a treat. Aside from the endless relics from movies, comics, and music, they have a revolving featured exhibition. My recent visit was the Marvel exhibition which was insane. They have original comics, costumes from movies, and other tidbits of knowledge. There's the amazing music room where you can begin to learn various instruments and jam out with friends. The sci-fi and fantasy areas are so cool for nerds all around. It was a great day and I imagine super fun for people with smaller kids.
Went to see the Star Trek exhibit and it was great! The fangirl in me loved it!
Hard to rate because the hours stink. 10-5??? Really?!?
Drives me crazy, same tacky stuff every time. Perhaps one or two different displays. Boring.
Fun Minecraft exhibit here this year for 10th anniversary. Plus the permanent collection of rock n roll history, Sky Church video screen, and sci-fi collection. Allow several hours.
If you love music this is the place. Has a little of everything
Fun stuff! Kids love it. So much to see, including real Star Wars lightsabers from the movies, and a great Sound Lab for kids to try real instruments.
Really great exhibits with a ton of interesting things to see. The Marvel exhibit in particular was really amazing. So many great pieces of memorabilia and costumes! The wait to get into the Marvel stuff was a bit long, but that was because of the Blue Jays fans in town. The SciFi, Fantasy, and Horror exhibits were also top notch. Staff here are all very friendly and helpful.
Got to see lots of movie props from many cultural touchstones. Great way to spend an afternoon.
This is the most incredible place I have ever been to. Period! It was amazing to see all of the memorabilia and see this stuff in person.
If you love music, you NEED to go to this place as soon as possible.
Little did I know that pop culture includes fantasy (Magic), Indie games, Sci Fi and (for additional fee) an amazing Star Trek display. Well worth the visit!
Awesome place to visit and have fun at. My kids love it.
Amazing exhibits of pop culture, especially the SciFi exhibit, a room full of iconic guitars, and rotating exhibits. Take a friend to jam in the "recording studio" booths which have guitars, drums, bass and piano to mess around on
Expensive. And some exhibits were not that interesting to our 6 and 8 year olds. I loved Pearl Jam though, and they loved the sound lab and the video game exhibit. Worth the trip! Well done exhibits.
A great place to check out if you like sci fi memorabilia.
Lots to see and love that you can go in and out during the day with displayed sticker.
If you are a fan of Nirvana or Pearl jam the exhibits are awesome. Other exhibits are also very well done, the guitar room was another standout, but the two Seattle music legends are far and away the attractions.
Well funded and unique place to visit. Introspective. At $25 I thought it was a tad bit cost heavy. Up to date exhibits.
Great place for cult tv and music fans.Spent a the full afternoon there and to be honest i could of spent the whole day there!
I highly recommend this place.
Incredible experience if you like modern music, movies and comics. A real surprise I do not give a five because the 30 dollars seems expensive. Say I like it if it served you
So much fun. Take your teens and tweens for added pleasure!
I had such a great time, if you are gonna visit Seattle or live in the area it's a must see.
We had a fun experience, but this is a very expensive ticket, so check exhibits first to make sure you re interested- I m not super interested in Nirvana or Prince, which were very big parts of the museum when I visited. However, the music room on the second floor that allows you to learn with instruments is a really fun concept!
Went here for my boyfriends birthday, we had a wonderful time! The sound lab is great for all the musicians out there and the other exhibits were top notch!
Great museum for people that love (surprise) pop culture! The horror and Star Trek exhibits are amazing, and its fairly close to a lot of other interesting stuff in the Seattle Center area. Can definitely be an expensive trip for larger groups and families so just be prepared!
There s many exhibits to see take your time throughout the building. They had a marvel exhibit which I really enjoyed, and a horror exhibit.
Always amazing exhibits that make my inner child jump up and down. I love this place, and make sure I go every time I visit Seattle. This is the history of all those wonderful fandoms you've acquired over the course of your life. An ever-changing exhibition filled with marvelous wonders every single time. Do not miss out on this museum. It's great for the family, for a date, or for yourself when you want to fill some free time. I tell everyone about how awesome MoPop is every single chance I get.
Second time in two years. Great experience. Friendly front desk staff
The rotating shows are interesting. Small spaces, however.
Dedicated music displays are interesting once but not worth seeing a second time in my opinion.
We enjoyed the museum of Pop culture. It was fun learning about many of the movies we have seen. It was cool to see the movie props. We also enjoyed the sound lab. We laughed so hard while recording a song with our son
This was my favorite place to visit the last time I was in Seattle. It's kind of expensive unless you get the City Pass but it's a very enjoyable experience.
MoPop is a must-see when you are in Seattle. There are fantasy and indie game exhibits that never get boring. There is also the horror exhibit that worth checking out. Great place to bring kids or family. I really like the musical instruments where you get to learn and play in studio rooms.
This place was really neat. It was just so crowded in the kid friendly exhibits when I was there (2-4pm) it was hard to stop and read any of the information for the displays. I didnt even try to go in the sound room. Maybe an earlier time would have been better. But I still saw a lot of cool guitars and movie/tv props.
1 complete day entertainment. So many things to do. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Worth the ticket
Great exhibits. My reason for giving 4 stars is I already paid an entrance fee and you want me to pay more money to see the marvel exibit!! Not gonna happen!
This is probably my favorite museum ever. I was disappointed the Star Trek section was closed during my visit (late June 2018) but excited for the upcoming Pearl Jam exhibit. When I first visited it was very quiet and peaceful but it s become more crowded. The museum can t help that but if you visit please be respectful of others as it s a shared public space and other people crowding exhibits and talking loudly can be distracting to some visitors.
Great exhibits! The sound lab was lots of fun! The only thing I would recommend is do not purchase the audio guide. It becomes sensory overload as most exhibits have sound (music, interviews) playing throughout. I returned it 5 minutes after starting my visit to the EMP and I wasn't given a refund. Bad form on their part.
Had a blast! The horror and science fiction galleries were awesome!
Amazingly designed structure which contains interesting and well presented examples of historic artifacts from film, TV and music culture. Very easy to navigate and well located if you are planning to visit other attractions in the area. Something for everybody and the interactivity of the exhibits is well thought out.
Exhibits are interesting. Along with the permanent collection which is fascinating, traveling exhibits are also very well done.
My wife and I loved it. The kids probably more liked the marvel & movie memorabilia. Great place to visit & sure something for everyone to enjoy.
