Visitors and locals always have a blast at Seattle's most interactive and imaginative museum.

I have DJed in the Sky Church copious amounts of times and let me tell you they're some of my best events. Staff is friendly, helpful and easy to work with. The Sky Church as room is a piece of art. You'll feel as though you've entered the future when visiting.

They create the freshest and most facisinating exhibits. I think it often gets forgotten about by those who live in the greater Seattle area. I remember taking my favorite field trips here as a kid.

They're constantly updating the museum with something new for Pop Culture fans to enjoy.

Amazing exhibits. A great way to sepnd 2-3 hours. The Jim Henson exhibit covers way more than I ever thought it would! Very interactive, great for ages 4 to 104. If you have ever wanted to try out playing the piano, bass, guitar for 10 minutes with a simple guide and total privacy, this is your chance!

This place is great, we weren't sure whether we would like it or not but in the end decided to go for it. There was a Kurt Cobain exhibition on at the time that was just excellent, had so much unique memorabilia from before he was famous and leading up to his death. They also had a great gaming exhibition and sci fi downstairs. I would definitely recommend, worth every penny.

We had an absolute blast here! Each exhibit was well thought out and had a ton of "behind the scenes" trivia that would be hard to know unless you were a hardcore fan. The Minecraft experience was there when I went and it was easily the highlight for the day. It had life sized displays, interactive sections with VR, and plenty of information on how Minecraft impacted pop culture. I learned quite a bit and had a great time. Well worth the admission price and is more entertaining than the science museum and space needle combined.

The MOP is an experience every local should experience. I learned about Jimmy Hendrix and other Seattle icons. I d as readily bring my 7 year old brother as I would my 65 year old dad.

I enjoyed the horror, fantasy and science fiction exhibits quite a bit. Looking at variations of the guitar throughout history was very cool.

Many of the interactive exhibits were down however. I wasn't too impressed with the indie game exhibit since I felt like you could play any of those at home.

They had a fair amount of items, and many of them were cool, but I felt I went through them quickly. I feel like they could have had used more items in the hall of fame exhibit. When i went there they also were missing some bios on the hall of fame inductees.

I thought it was worth going to. If the Nirvana exhibit had been opened I could have given this four stars.

The museum started our as a music museum and you can still see that influence. The fantasy and horror sections are great! The sci-fi area could have been bigger in my opinion, but I hear part of it is now traveling so that might be why.

I actually didn't love this place and don't think it's worth the $30-36 entry fee. A large chunk of the exhibits are dedicated to specific artists or bands, like Prince, Nirvana, or Pearl Jam. If you're not super into those artists, it's not that interesting. I really did enjoy the Sound Lab though, where you could learn to play instruments like the bass guitar, drums, and keyboard. You could even get a "recording sesh" in one of the many available rooms, and download your recording from online afterwards (don't worry, it's not public). I personally would skip this place unless you are a huge fan of one of the exhibits. There's currently a special Minecraft one, for example.

There is a lot of information on rock superstars. If you like, you can go in for a visit. However, taking pictures from the outside is very eye-catching. This museum has a special shape and a beautiful metal color. It is worth taking pictures.

Love it! I had a great day visiting and learning. The sound lab was definitely the funniest and the most time-consuming one because everyone wanted to try different music instruments. The staff who sold me tickets was friendly and helpful, but the the guy at the shop where I bought my postcards was a little bit rude.
But after all, it was a great experience and if you want to visit it, don t hesitate!
If you are teens, consider Teentix because it helps you save a lot of money! Go and learn something!

I visited Museum of Pop Culture Museum in August 2018. I was extremely impressed with the entire museum. The colored glass figurines were absolutely beautiful. So well is the display surrounding the Space Needle. You can actually see the museum from the Space Needle.
There are a multitude of things to do while in Seattle. I would highly recommend taking 4 to 5 days to use your pass. We visited the Museum of Pop Culture, The Space Needle, The Aquarium, The Boat Cruise. Enjoyed everything immensely.

An awesome museum especially for music fans. There are lots of interactive experiences such as recording, mixing, musical instruments etc. Besides, there are indie video games and movie theme areas that will take you a whole day to explore. Definitely a must-see in Seattle!

This place has a lot of memorabilia ranging from music to films. They have lots of varied exhibits and interactive music displays (recording studio like) with a time limit so every one can enjoy them.

It was absolutely amazing! There was a scary portion, a music themed portion, fantasy, games, sci-fi and Marvel exhibits. It was beautifully done, highly informative, and easy to navigate. It was amazing and I will definitely come back.

This is one of the few museums I'd actually buy a yearly membership to if I lived in the area. MoPop is set up with several smaller exhibits that act as their own standalone experiences. If you were to only visit one of these "worlds" each time you went, you could easily spend hours within each exhibit.

Each exhibit is pretty dense and filled with information so you might start out ambitious and try to read every card, but taper off towards the end. The exhibits that pertained to pop culture in the movie/tv sense were: Fantasy, Horror, and SciFi. Each one scratches the surface of what these genres look like in the media and could easily be expanded into a whole museum in itself, but the overview gives you a fun glimpse into how the genre plays into the entertainment industry through costuming, tropes, and interactive displays.

While I visited, there was a Marvel exhibit on rotation and was the most substantial exhibit there. It was an extra $8 on top of the admission ticket but worth every penny. It was a good mix of comic book history as well as pulling in the more modern showings of Marvel characters so that diverse generations could enjoy the exhibit without feeling like it skewed too one way or another.

This a museum you could easily spend all day at, but I would recommend going at off peak hours if possible so you can take your time and experience some of the more popular exhibits like the Sound Lab.

I would definitely go back on another trip to Seattle and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting the area!

Very interesting museum, with modern, pop culture topics mostly.
The staff was also very nice to our group of 5 international students.
Pricing is ok, but I wouldn't pay more than what they charge !

So many fun Expos to go to. I really loved the Star Trek Expo that they had when I went. Probably because I'm a huge fan but also because there were some interactive props and a lot of history on the subject.

The great architect Frank Gehry's zany deflated guitars, inspired by Jimi Hendrix. Seattle was hoping for another Bilbao Museum but Gehry went his own way and honoured Hendrix's hometown with this fascinating masterpiece.

Really enjoyed the Prince exhibit. Very interactive displays. Lots of fantasy, sci-fi. Loved the sound lab. Even managed to jam a little on the keyboard in the sound lab. Right near the Space Needle. Easy to visit both in a day.

I like this place! I came with my ymca camp group and even though we had a few minor problems with groups we all had a lot of fun! My favourite thing was the Wii us and gaming room! One thing I thought was a bit annoying was when we weren't allowed to go around alone and were required to have a chaperone with us. Otherwise, its a great place to learn, enjoy things and have fun!

An absolute must coming to the city. So much to look at you could easily spend an entire afternoon here. Pearl Jam and Nirvana exhibits were well curated and really enjoyed watching Michael Jackson's Thriller on a big screen. So come, you will not be disappointed.

I've been to this museum so many times and everytime it has been so much fun. They always have great exhibits that hold pieces from amazing films and shows with some being autographed by the actors! Recently, they had the marvel exhibit and I've gone through twice! It's so amazing!

Blew us away with how awesome things were! Definitely more than we expected and spent a good 3 hours walking around checking everything out! Had a blast. Definitely recommend to check out!

This museum is absolutely awesome! There are so many interactive (hands on) exhibits that everyone will have a blast. Our family (ranging in age from 13 to 81) went and we all had a blast. I will recommend this to anyone I know going to Seattle! 2 thumbs up!

Went with a party of 6, which included 3 kids ages 16, 13 & 7. Kids favorite (by far) was the sound booth where they could play drums, electric guitar and keyboard till their hearts content. Otherwise they were mildly-moderately amused by the museum. Adults liked it a lot. A lot bigger than it appears from the outside. We were there for 2 1/2 hours for sure...could ve spent longer if we didn t have the kids. Bought an annual membership because it was pretty much the same cost as one-time admission for our family of 5. That way, we can pop in again when we have guests for little to nothing.
