Where can you see Star Trek, Nirvana, Freddy Krueger, Jimi Hendrix, the Cowardly Lion AND learn to be a DJ? MoPop! Hands down one of the best museum I've ever experienced.

A heaven for those who love music. Has a concert venue with state-of-the-art sound and lighting that houses the largest indoor LED screen in the world. The EMP theater is the largest movie screen in Washington as well.

Very informative, fun and will definitely go again if they have an Alice in Chains exhibit.

On the first day, I went to the door because of the weather. I finally opened the door the next day. There is a nirvana exhibition hall inside, although it is not big, but it is worth going to go, tears in it.

Loved this place. There's something for everyone. Check out Sound Lab; it's more than random playing at your local Guitar Center. Space, Sci-Fi and horror themed rooms are worth visiting.

I am a huge fan of pop culture and this was a must see on our trip to Seattle. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a horror exhibition, as I am a long time horror fan. I was able to see props from some of my favorite movies as well as tv shows, such as a Cyberman and Dalek in the sci-fi area. If you are a fan of Nirvana and Jimmy Hendrix, this is a must see. Also very close to other must see tourists spots like the Space Needle and the Glass museum. Definitely recommend

This place is quite breathtaking, even if you don't go inside. It is an architectural masterpiece established in 2000 as the Experience Music Project. Since that time MoPOP has organized dozens of exhibits, some of which have toured across the US and internationally. MoPOP is home to exhibits, interactive activity stations, sound sculpture, and various educational resources.

Pretty cool, probably much more interesting for someone that loves music. I found the mixing studio hands-on part to be fantastic. I gained a whole appreciation for recording and mixing music.

They have an awesome sound lab where you can play around with/ learn to play different instruments, learn how to mix, and even record your own songs.

If your jam is popular genre media (science fiction, fantasy, horror) then these collections will be greatly appealing. The tree of guitars is also a wonderful sight to behold.

One of my favorite places in Seattle. Excellent Nirvana exhibit, always has great featured exhibitions and events. Great pieces- a museum with something for everyone- I recommend it to anyone who visits or anyone nearby.

Excellent range of exhibits from local artists to sci-fi and fantasy movie props

It is expensive but you will get something for your money. We spent 3 hours here!

Really cool place to take the family. It is affordable, and has lots of neat things to check out. Bonus points for being so close to all the other stuff to do with the family...Space Needle, Science Center, and much more within walking distance.

Feet hurt because you spend so much time learning and checking out the exhibits. Very well done. And vast collection of iconic items in pop culture

Worth the price of admission. And I paid extra for the special exhibit (Marvel.)

Most of their interactive things didn't work and the actual pieces that they had on display were not very interesting. It may be worth it if you are going in the hopes to see one specific thing, but otherwise not the best.

Its a very well laid out museum with musical artifacts placed perfectly with lots of ingenuity.

Marvel was here when I went.. always a good day here!

Great museum. Had Nintendo Switch systems and a great inde game section. It also showed stuff with famous music peoples. I would go back again FOR SURE. There was a recoding are with instruments also. Pretty great gift shop. I would rate 5.5 out of 5 if possible

I am so glad this place exists! So much to see and hear! I especially loved the Wild Blue Angel: Hendrix Abroad, 1966-1970 exhibit and of course we had to check out the incredible Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds exhibit which is a must-see. DO NOT MISS the World of WearableArt exhibit!

What a great way to spend several hours! Loved all the little coves of musical memories.

Interesting and entertaining for music and movie fans. For all others, the entry is likely to be too high.

Awesome place! I lucked out and stumbled across the soft opening weekend. Standard exhibits were there as well as a new to me one on tattoos. That was pretty cool.

Coolest thing to do in Seattle IMO. If you're into film or music, this place has hours of cool stuff to do and exhibits to look at

This place is great and we've only seen aboutvabquarter of it.

I really liked the movie genre exhibits. The music one's are cool too but the movie ones are so well decorated you really feel transported into a different place

This is an amazing place to visit in family or alone if you want entertainment and a different playground to your kids.

You have also many public parking around where you can keep your car while you enjoy this place.

My favorite way to spend a day! Your friends will be jealous.

Mopop sound off show casing musicians under 21 years of age. Simply amazing venue and amazing talent.

Really awesome building with amazing exhibits. Seeing Gehry's architecture up close is truly breath taking!

If you're a nerd then you'll love this place. Make sure you have plenty of time to look at everything though. We made the mistake of going later in the day, and then having to rush through some of the exhibits.

Love MoPop and definitely a place I bring guests when they visit. Membership is well worth it if you enjoy pop culture, music, movies, etc. The pics are just from my favorite exhibit, Scared To Death. A lot more than this to see for sure.

I'm a tourist and i think its a fun place for children and adults

Some very incredible pieces and exhibits in there.
It gets very, very busy, had to line up outside for quiet awhile to get inside but it s worth it !

Not worth what u pay, there were lines for sound lab, the star wars was just costumes which u have to pay extra to see. I'm not a musician, so maybe ppl that are musical inclined would appreciate it more

Different museum with many small exhibitions. Nice exhibition about Nirvana and grunge, but strange to see music in a museum.

No re-entry. No food served anywhere after 5pm. So if you need to put more hours for parking or haven't eaten--if you're lucky, you'll get one bag of chips and a parking fine after the show. Very disappointing experience.

Its a great experience for adults and kids. The sound booth is my favorite. Learn basic vocals, guitar, keyboard and drums! Very fum!

So, I'm not huge fan of museums, I tend to blow through them and wait for the rest of my party at the other end/exit. I've been to the EMP several times and while I find the music area pretty standard I do enjoy the Science Fiction, Fantasy and temporary exhibits more than usual. Currently the temporary exhibits are The Power of Costume (Star Wars costumes) along with a tribute to long time Looney Tunes writer and director Chuck Jones; both are fantastic and well worth the trip.

I went here with my friend and sister for New Year s Eve and it was a great party. The drinks were $10 so kinda pricy but not for Seattle. They have really awesome exhibits and make it fun and interactive. I ve been here prior to NYE and they change their exhibits to keep it fun and interesting. Definitely a must see if you re in the area!

Takes up most of the day. Pretty good othet than that the cashiers were rude and through my stuff on the counter same with my money and said nothing and left his name was Zach rude customer service

Absolutely an amazing place with interactive exhibits and a variety that keeps you wanted to come back for more. The only issue that I had was you had to pay more to see the Marvel experience but, I spend so much time doing everything else there that I didn't really care that I didn't see the Marvel experience.

Price is the off putting factor here for me. It wasn't worth the price at all, even though the exhibits were fine, it didn't take very long to get through.

MoPOP has fair prices, a safe tactic for preventing the spread of Covid-19, and spectacular exhibits. Although a few exhibits can get overcrowded at times, the museum has a lot of space to feel comfortable in. I

Very interesting place. I'd recommend this to anyone who even has a remote interest in music, which is basically just about anyone. There were lots of interesting exhibits when I went and a lot of interesting trivia to be learned.

Barely deserves to be called a museum. More like an old guy's collection of "cool stuff".

Fun museum, it'll take you at least an hour just exploring the exhibits, but there are lots of interactive exhibits you can spend more time with.

I love this place, I finish it every time I go to Seattle and there is always something new and interesting.

Cool museum with great designs for each exhibit. They set it up with the perfect music and decorations to make you feel like you are part of the theme. The person who planned that did a really great job! I recommend it even I you are not that into rock music.
