GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!! I actually had Exovations complete two big projects for me in 2017. One was installation of several windows and two doors. Recently, we had a problem with one of the doors not locking properly. I emailed my salesperson and he actually answered and forwarded my email to the office while on vacation! When I contacted customer service they sent the person out who had installed it that same day to take a look. It's a bit of an unusual locking mechanism and turns out it was operator error on our part vs a problem with the door or the installation. They explained how to properly operate the door and didn't charge for the trip. Great service well after the installation, which is very important to me!

Exovations did a fine job with our porch completion project in the April/May 2020 time frame. They added custom windows, trim, storm doors and painting to an existing screened porch. Except for the understandable delay with Covid 19 procedures, the schedule was competed on time. My wife was extremely happy with the completed project. All of Exovations professionals were courteous, knowledgeable and performed well.

I got my house painted last year at this time and now paint peeling off my metal door that leads to the backyard. A young man came out and said it isn't covered under warranty because he claims that its not his paint that is failing. Poor customer service after the fact. I have recommended this company for the great job they did but if this is how they treat customers after the job is done, I will no longer do so.
We used Exovations to replace 4 windows in our 1940s era home - the team did a great job installing modern, energy efficient windows in place of our original ones. We preserved the style we loved while seriously upgrading in terms of quality. They were able to handle with ease the ancillary issues that cropped up along the way (drywall damage, reframing to fit modern window dimensions, etc.) I also appreciated the level of communication from Exovations and felt like we were never in the dark at any stage in the process, as it was relatively streamlined.
Exovations installed vinyl siding and new gutters on our house. The crew worked tirelessly and left no mess behind when finished. Even my neighbor noticed their hard work. We had some windows replaced with Exovations. From the initial meeting with a consult to the painting, we were very happy! The communication with Dennis Sioleski was awesome! He let us know when and what time things would be happening, so that took the stress out of the whole process. We were so happy with the quality of work that we are having them back for a consult for new gutters and painting.
Our project included the replacement of all exterior siding, trim, gutters and downspouts as well as final painting of all. Exovation's crews where very professional and detailed oriented. They made sure that the property was cleaned up before going home each night. The PM Chris made sure that the project went smoothly and that all subcontractors were scheduled properly so that there was no lag time in between subcontractor activities which resulted in the project being completed on time. Chris also made sure that any questions or issues that we had were immediately addressed. The overall experience was quite painless, which is a good thing.

We hired Exovations to replace windows at our house as their framing was completely rotten, so much so that water was coming into an interior closet. Exovations sourced quality, locally-made windows to replace our old ones. Everything they did, from the time we contacted them until after installation, was excellent. We'll be using them again on future projects!

We were delighted with our decision to hire Exovations. We reviewed a number of bids to totally replace our large picture window. Exovations was the only one to give us a turn key completion. I am not sure how much character space is on here because I could go on for pages about how much of a terrible experience we had with Exovations. A 2 1/2 week project turned into a 7 week nightmare that was highlighted with the wrong siding being put on my house and a mysterious $6000 added into the price that their sales person could not explain. I would not recommend this company to anyone that I like. There needs to be a "zero stars" rating because that is what they earned during our project.
The entire process was remarkably hassle free. While Exovations wasn't the cheapest bid for the work, we ended up going with them for a few reasons- their reviews are really great and you don't pay anything until all work is complete.
My husband and I are not experienced in home renovations AT ALL so we were basically looking for the easiest and most painless option. And that ended up being Exovations. We were completely willing to pay a little extra to not have to micromanage and follow-up on our end. We had a challenging double deck, enclosed porch renovation on a (truly death-defying) slope in the back of our house that two other companies had wholeheartedly rejected even estimating after one look because it was complicated. Not EXOVATIONS. It took them a couple of days to figure out HOW and not IF they could.
We were so impressed with their determination and process on the deck using our architect's drawings and their adjustments, we had them estimate siding and painting the entire house (and it turns out, repairs under the old siding).
They were extremely organized with time and the schedule and they are putting the finishing touches on the exterior as I type this... just EIGHT weeks, which is impressive for the amount of work they completed.
Did we go over budget? Yes, but it wasn't their fault. There were other repairs that needed to be made to no fault of their own and items they couldn't have known about during estimating the projects.
Our Project Manager, Wes Peavy, stayed in touch daily - sometimes a few times a day - with what was going on. Wes was great to work with and handled the issues that come along with a project like this, and issues we threw at him (you know how homeowners under renovation can be) like a pro. It was like working with a friend.
I feel sure our deck project will end up being the BEFORE and AFTER pictures they use to sell hard projects, as they should.
I obviously recommend them, especially for time-sensitive and especially challenging projects (although I am sure they would be happy to take easier ones too!).

Our house had a makeover (new paint, gutters, adding of stonework & a garage door) back in February of 2018 and we ve been so happy with it ever since! Flash forward to July 2020: On Sunday, we noticed the framing of our garage door that Exovations had installed was sagging in the middle (yikes!). I did a complete home exterior renovation with Exovations that included new fiber cement siding, soffit, fascia, windows, roof, gutters, shutters and porch columns. I was impressed with the whole process from start to finish. They seemed to have all their ducks in a row. During the planning and estimation process Joy Branch, the salesperson, was delightful to work with, was very helpful with ideas and was well supplied with brochures and samples of all the materials and products that were recommended. This allowed me to read up and compare products before making the final decision. She was also very responsive in getting back to me with regards to questions or revised estimates as I added and subtracted things from the project. They weren t the cheapest bidder on the job, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for. They follow OSHA lead safe regulations and practices when dealing with older houses such as mine that might contain lead.
When it came time to start the project I had a meeting with Chris Thomas, the project manager, and he laid out the whole schedule for me and they pretty much stuck to it. Chris reviewed the scope of work with me and was very patient with all my questions. The roofers, siders, window specialists, and painters were all courteous and professional and did good work. They showed up on the scheduled date and did a good job of cleaning up when they left for the day. With a project of this scope there were bound to be some surprises, and we did encounter some, but the whole team worked together to come up with resolutions. My only regret with the construction phase was that I didn t contact Chris sooner whenever I noticed something I wasn t quite happy with. When I did, he was very responsive and got the issue taken care of.
If I had to say anything negative about the whole project it would be that the landscaping did take a bit of a hit, but nothing that it won t recover from. Unfortunately the cash out refinancing to fund the project took longer than anticipated and the project started later than anticipated. My newly seeded fescue lawn did not like all the foot traffic. Also, a few of my wife s flowers got trampled, and a few branches on the Hydrangeas and Azaleas got broken, but Chris did tell me at the beginning that with a project of this size there was going to be some damage. Plus my wife is a prolific gardener and she leaves no soil unturned, so unless they flew around on magic carpets something was going to have to give.
If you asked me at the end of the two week project if I would go with Exovations again on another project knowing what I know now, I would have to say yes . If you re thinking about doing a home renovation project give Exovations a call, you ll be happy you did.

First they showed up on time. The project manager Chris Campbell said 8:30 and the workers were at my house at 8:30! The workers were done in 2 days! With the size of my house I thought for sure it would take a week but nope, these guys did it without cutting corners and it looks AMAZING. All the other houses are jealous. There were no surprise costs, either. They kept to the budget we agreed to and didn't come up with any goofy excuses to try to charge me more (like the mechanics try to do every time I get an oil change). I have never had a stress free experience before when hiring a company to do work on my house and for that, I have already begun recommending them to my friends and co-workers

This is not the first time I ve used EXOVATIONS and they never disappoint! From start to finish, they were professional, punctual and skillful.
I appreciated Chris attention to ensuring I was a happy and satisfied customer. His crew, Josh and Patrick and Tim the electrician, were excellent. They worked quickly, efficiently and even had to put up with working in the rain. They were also faced with working in the humid heat with masks on and never complained once.
Afterwards, they mopped the floors and made sure everything was clean and back together before leaving.

The work included new windows, gutters, chimney cap and garage doors with replacement trim and siding work as well as a complete exterior painting. This review is for Exovations that USED to be located in Macon,GA. Apparently when Greg Tatro left town all the warranty and guarantees went with him. Be very careful hiring any company with the name Exovations attached to it because none of the other Exovations that are still in business will help you with ANY warranty issues. We spent close to 20K on the project and it appears I'm up S_ _ _ Creek without a paddle as of now. They had an A+ rating on "Angies' List" so we thought we were pretty safe, but 3 years later really bad feelings here and Many regrets.

Company could be good. Their website is deceptive though. They specifically say they cover Pickens County. They have a chat feature that pops up on their website. I chatted with "Amy, a customer service specialist" and after giving her my address, she states we are out of the service area. Then why do you state on your website you service Pickens County.
After having an unfortunate experience with an unethical roofing contractor; we called EXOVATIONS, and could not have been more relieved. From start to finish, they were ELITE PROFESSIONALS with the skills to insure and repair the damage done to our homes structural integrity. Trusting EXOVATIONS after this experience meant that when we began thinking about adding a deck onto our home with a rather large hot tub... it was a no brainer! We reached out to EXOVATIONS again! EXOVATIONS' mission to exceed customer expectations in project management, design, construction, timely completion of work and communicating with their clients will show you that they truly VALUE their customers time, budget and design goals! Way to hit it out of the park for this family TWICE!
We used Exovations at another home and had a great experience so they had an inside track on the work we needed on our current house (new windows and gutters). Pricing was comparable or better than other quotes so it was pretty easy to choose them.
The issues I had were post-contract signing. 50% was due once we signed the contract in late September. That wasn t a huge deal but then the project manager walkthrough didn t happen until late October, at which time we were told work wouldn t start until early December. I know COVID has messed with everything but holding several thousand dollars for 2-3 months before work started was pretty ridiculous. Note to self: in the future, don t pay a dime until an estimated start date is given.
Here s where things went south for me. In the initial quote, there was one piece of fascia quoted due to some rot behind a gutter with the expectation set that more may be needed which was perfectly realistic. The project got delayed until mid-December because the windows were delayed again. I asked if we could have the gutters start on time since they weren t dependent on the windows. That didn t happen and then, lo and behold, every bit of fascia had to be replaced to the tune of another $4k. So instead of discovering this earlier in the month, it put the whole project in jeopardy of not being done before Christmas. For my troubles, I got a whopping $400 knocked off the fascia.
Long story short, I m going to have a real hard time recommending Exovations going forward. The final product is fine but the communication was lackluster (even the contractors couldn t reach the project manager at one point for an entire day and were asking ME what to do). The delays also really irritated me, especially when some of it could have been avoided by starting the gutters on time.
Exovations is great from start of project to Finnish no high pressure sales just honest and dependable people will do business again in future thank you Lance and Wes for helping us.
One of the worst experiences we have ever had with a contractor. Very unprofessional! The two project (Sal and Chris) managers did not speak to each other therefore leading to inconsistencies in the project. Then the director of sales (Terry Brooks) calls me and says that he doesn t want to take sides but our options are to either pay $150 restocking fee for the door or to have it installed as it says on the contract. Keep these names in mind when or if you decide to use this company. Not very good! Do not expect a first class experience or family friendly experience from them at all. All I can say is get everything in writing or else they will not do anything even if you think it s a part of the project. It s very transact y all rather than doing the right thing for the customer and to make the project look good.

Thank god we did a small "test" project before committing to a 20k+ multi-stage renovation project with this company. They weren't the cheapest bid by a long shot, but we bought into the sales guy's pitch about paying for smooth roll-out and peace of mind.
The reality? Started with a small roofing project, estimated to take two days. Workers came the first day, never came back. Contract stated they were supposed to clean the worksite daily, but left water bottles, broken shingles and plastic cups scattered around our yard. Nobody showed up to our scheduled after-project walkthrough two days later. We had no idea if the project was finished or not: leftover materials were still in our yard FOUR days later when I finally called the project manager that had been assigned to me. No pickup, just voice mail. Got a call later from someone else at the company with the excuse that the project manager had unexpectedly quit on them. That's great, but how exactly does that excuse the worker trash, crushed landscaping, abandoned leftover materials, and total radio silence from the company?
I could have got twice the "peace of mind" for half the price. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have a back patio about 20'x25' that from around 11 in the morning until the sun goes down, it's entirely too hot to sit out side or use it. I called Exovations to come out and see what we could do so we could enjoy our patio. Katie Smith came out and took notes and measurements and came back with 2 options, one was what I described to her and the other was their idea. I went with their idea and am really glad that I did. I had Wes Peavy as my project manager and he did an excellent job in keeping me informed to what and when things were happening. From start to finish I had no worries. Any questions I had were answered. I am extremely happy with the finished product and now spend a ton of time out there. I would highly recommend them for any work. We had an amazing experience with Exovations. Our Sales Consultant, Byron and Construction Manager, Chris were both outstanding. Byron listened to our needs for a new patio roof and concrete extension. We agreed on a project design and timeframe. Byron really helped put us at ease from the start of the process. Chris provided great communication and was always available to answer any questions we had. His team was excellent and he was consistently ensuring the project was moving along as scheduled. Re-sided and painted house, replaced all gutters. Pleasure to work with, quality work and excellent project management. Work site cleaned at end of each day. Any punch list requests were promptly addressed. Highly recommend them.
Our project this year was to replace the siding and paint our 25yr old home. After doing an extensive research on various contractors we decided on Exovations. Our salesman Chris S. was very professional and did an outstanding job of meeting all our needs within our budget including several additions to the project.
Chris C. our project manager was an absolute delight to work with. He was very professional and personal. he visited our home regularly to ensure that the job was being completed to our satisfaction.

I recently had a new porch addition, new roof, rotted siding replaced and paint on the entire house. Crews cleaned up every evening, they were polite, courteous and on time. Chris Campbell and his teams always went above and beyond my expectations. I could not be happier with the end results. My experience was so good, they are coming back to replace and upgrade a couple doors.

From the initial meeting with Chris Ray (sales) to working with John Fogle (Project Manager) everything has been done very well. Professional, organized, quality work, etc... The teams they have are also awesome. They have different teams for door/windows, painting, gutters etc... and you can tell they hire top notch people. John especially has done a great job of communicating and making sure everything was done very well. Highly recommend!
After consulting neighbors, Kudzu, Angie's List, and others, and having four companies give estimates, I hired Exovations to paint the exterior of my house. Their price was the highest, but I felt most comfortable with them as a large company compared to the only other painter with which I felt comfortable - an individual. Throughout it all, Exovations was professional and communicated in a timely manner. And their Web site is thorough, even allowing me to use PayPal. The job was to paint over all painted surfaces. They were also to clean the inside of large, screwed-in storm windows and the outside of the permanent panes of glass they covered. The crew worked very hard for hours and hours. They finished on time. I hear every job like this has a punch list. Ours did, too. However, I feel some items should not have been on the punch list in the first place. They include sanding and repainting areas where old paint was flaking, replacing a cornice because the repair job they did looked terrible, and cleaning window panes after making them dirty in the normal course of work. This last item was especially disappointing. The outside window panes of the house were clean when Exovations arrived. They did not clean them when done. Nor would they clean them when asked on the punch list, saying they don't clean windows. Speaking of windows, Exovations did not clean the storm windows or the opposite windows even though that was in the contract. When given this on the punch list, the end result was that they cleaned the windows badly. I had to show them the bad work, have them try again, and even give them my own window cleaning gear because theirs was not effective. Finally, there are the little things that the project manager said I was "pretty particular" about but for which I disagree. Examples include the following, which make me wonder whether to recommend Exovations to others: You know how you paint in a gap between two pieces of wood that aren't flush with one another by painting thicker than on the surface? Exovations didn't. When presented with ground cover, do you try to avoid stepping on the plants as much as possible? Exovations didn't. After seeing the above review on Angie s List, they posted an apology and said they would contact me. They called, came over, agreed with everything I said, said their prep work obviously was lacking, offered to replace my plants if they die, and set up a day to fix everything else. After their follow-up work, the flaking areas still show old flakes, but not as bad. They did paint over them thick enough to cover them adequately. The flaking isn t as bad, but it obviously was not sanded smooth. All the storm windows but one are now clean, with the one not clean having been worked on, but not well. All the window panes were cleaned well. I thought I would receive a follow-up phone call after this, but didn t.
Very pleased with the finished product! Chris Campbell the project manager was very helpful and a great guy. Had a few issues along the way but what construction job doesnt. Chris and the crew fixed the issues with no problem. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are a hard working crew and do a great job!
These guys were fantastic! Our Sales Consultant, Keith Healy, listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, and pointed out things I hadn't even noticed that needed to be done. He understood what we were trying to accomplish and gave us a very competitive quote. Our Project Manager, Chris Campbell, was the greatest. He was on site nearly everyday. As the work progressed, there was some hidden damage that he pointed out and gave us a very reasonable price to fix. I added a few extra bits of work along the way as well, that were priced well below what I expected. Our renovation went without a hitch and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of the Exovations team. Thanks again, Chris!
Exovations was everything they advertise - fair, efficient, professional, on-time, quality work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home exterior. Wes Peavy, my project manager, was in constant contact - I never didn't know where we were on the timeline to finish. And they finished the whole project on time. Great company!
If you are looking for excellent products, quality construction work, excellent communication, timeliness, and honesty I believe you will get that with Exovations. We began getting quotes 2 years ago to replace LP siding and rotted boards. We heard all different takes and opinions on what would be the right way to go. Whether the $ was low or high in comparison to each other, it was always high to us and no one ever convinced us they would do a really good job. We stalled. But our problem was not going away; rot was growing more rot. I called Exovations in September and Lance came out. That day led the way to a well completed construction job. We asked a ton of questions that day and forward and even tried to confuse him but he kept straight and he worked well communicating with both me and the hubs. He for sure sold us on Exovation s product and process. I can say that our project was turn-key, just like Lance said it would be. I can say that Andy, our project manager, ensured the fellas were on task and on track, he was present as necessary, always responsive to my texts, and kept things moving and we, together, worked out all the fun things that come up during construction. Like Lance said, It wouldn t be construction if we didn t have something to fix. I d say there were two critical qualities they delivered: communication and trust. That was built the first day to the last. You will have to do your part and be engaged. It is a working relationship and partnership to get what you want.
I am grateful to every single person that showed up here to work. Every single man was hard working, grateful, and excellent at what he did. And they were kind. I could probably tell you something about each one because I watched how hard they worked, their happy smiles, and voices. While climbing the exterior of my house walls, managing power tools, siding, nails, ladders, wind, and very cold - bitter cold - temps, my happy three amigos would burst into song around 4 o clock, everyday, making my house as happy as can be. That in and of itself is the MOST important part. Building some joy and loving the work. It doesn t get any better than that. And that is why we chose Exovations. Yes, we recommend. Yes, we are happy. Yes, our neighbors are happy. They aren t looking at the before anymore.
We found Exovations from there add on WSB radio. We decided to give them a try based on their promises. We were greatly surprised. They were fantastic. They did everything they said they would do, went the extra mile in making sure our project went smoothly and exactly on time and for the exact price they quoted. They even did what ever it took to do a superior job. Wes Peavy was our project manager and anytime I wanted to ask a question he was available, weekday or weekend and all hours of the day. We were out of the country while the work was being done but our house sitter was here. She raved about how polite and professional the workmen were and each day left the area just as clean as they found it. When I get another project I will surely use them again. I could not recommend them enough. They were just wonderful. If you have any projects they can help you with, I highly recommend them for the job.

We moved to a true fixer-upper last year and called the Exovations team to help us with a complete overhaul of the entire exterior siding, painting, porch railings, rescreening of our porch (a 900 sq ft screened porch!), reworking of our deck, rebuilding an upstairs porch, etc. Basically they transformed our home. The Exovations team was incredibly professional from start to finish. Joy Branch led us through the estimating and contracting phase effortlessly which was not easy given the scope of our project. Joy s is a joy to work with! We were then lucky enough to have Joseph Guynup as our project manager. Joseph went above and beyond at every turn. He kept us constantly informed every step of the way, clearly explaining every snag/modification, laying out our options and helping us think through what we should do given our ultimate goals for the project. He even went so far as to give us guidance in managing the roofers we hired (the only part of the job Exovations couldn t do given the size of the metal roof we wanted). He never hesitated to make a trip to our property (which is not in a convenient location) to meet with us about any concerns we had. Joseph so closely monitored the job that he would flag issues for us long before we would have noticed (such as realizing the screens for our porch were ever so slightly too small and re-ordering and reinstalling the right size) and everything was fixed and made right right away. We ve been through other big remodels and were dreading this one. But Joseph, Joy and the rest of the Exovations crew made it truly painless and actually kind of enjoyable!
