Very impressive! They have over 200 lions, tigers, lynx, bobcats and other exotic felines rescued from abusive and/or illegal situations. The kids loved it too!
What a great hidden gem. Had a great tour given by Beau.
They do amazing work, are guide Tiffani, was a delight. you can tell that she loves the cats and her job.
This place is amazingly worth a trip. I have been there several times. I believe in their mission of giving forever homes to abused big cats from all over the country. It is settled in a wooded area and there are lions, tigers, puma, cheetahs, and Bobcats just to name a few. It's only $10.00 per person and they use the fees to care for the cats. They take you around and show you the cats and will do their best to answer questions. We went one year for the pumpkin bash. I had the most unique experience the first time I went there. There was a male lion feeling his oats and he was just roaring and roaring. You could feel it in your chest! It was amazing and something I will always remember. This isn't a conventional zoo. You aren't behind glass or plastic. It was because of my appreciation of what they are trying to do for these creatures and the experience that keep me going back. I can't recommend it enough. They deserve 10 stars!
Great place doin great things with cats that would no doubt b killed or worse if not for them vthey trully take care of these cats like they r family n do absolute best they can 4 them till old age says times up every cat there was good weight healthy coat just hangin out chilly in sun like most peoples tabbys do in window go see these great cats n people worth the ride[3+hrs for us]
Amazing! Extremely knowledgeable tour guides and very friendly staff. You can get very close (safely!) to the animals and see these majestic cats like never before. Went to Evening Roar and enjoyed every minute - special shout out to Christina for sharing her passion about these animals and her connections to them. A great way to spend an evening!
They keep the cats in very good conditions. The tour I went on was very enjoyable and educational.
The place is awesome. They rescue so many animals from really terrible conditions. Great place highly recommend
Great thing they are doing, fun tour. Unprofessional staff. They need a sign saying where you can't go because it was very unclear.
Excellent charity organization to help big cats of all kinds!
I love this place, amazing animals and the personal workers.
The wife and I cant say enough about this wonderful place that does so much with what they have. You can tell the staff knows and cares about each and every one these abused and neglected felines, everyone of them has a heart breaking story, I'm just glad there are people like Joe and his staff that can help them live out the rest of their lives, they are very reasonable for tour prices and it all goes to help them out, so please take the time to stop in if you are near or passing through the area.
Very amazing place, the stories are kind of sad and it's a shame that animals even need a place like this but it's great that it exists and cares for these cats so wonderfully. I was in awe of all the volunteers, the guides are all volunteer and they have vets that volunteer their time to check on the cats and they even have their own volunteer vet dentist. Definitely worth a visit.
The Exotic Feline Rescue Center is an amazing place! Better than any zoo I've been too! I love it!
Great place to visit and help them support the animals.
We loved this place so much we are going to a similar place for wolves next week! Admission was cheap but sweatshirts were pricey....we still love them though.
Can't forget the Lions roaring!
A remarkable experience and rare opportunity to see these beautiful cats close-up. Their work is so important. Hearing each cat's journey made me sad we need such a place but thankful one exists. Eye-opening in terms of the results, extent and devastating result of the exotic pet industry.
Lori (Laurie?) was our guide and knows these cats so well! I took my 9 and 11 year olds on an early day in June so it wasn't hot. This place is so tucked away, if you don't know it's there, you're missing out!
I drive on I-70 about once a year and stop almost every time. A great roadside stop to get out and walk and see some beautiful rescues close up while supporting a good cause. Well worth the stop.
Absolutely wonderful place that's really giving a great home to many of the exotic kitties that you don't get to see very often. I would recommend it to anyone who is comfortable and respectful of these magnificent cats.
Knowledgeable staff. You can tell they care about the cats here. If you can time it right go during feeding time. I've never heard big cats this vocal at a zoo
Was just passing though and hears about this place off a friend. Well worth the stop off and a walk around. The stories of some of the cats will break your heart! Will return again to say hello!
Very educational tour and the animals are all very well taken care of. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great rescue!
I had an amazing time! More than you expect. Mike was friendly and knowledgeable. I was happy to donate and you should also!! JS.
Love this place. Incredible how intimate this place is designed. Look online for their wishlist so you can take a contribution. Tour guides do a great job telling background stories plus lots of feline facts. Worth the drive. Not much nearby so plan lunch, gas and rest room stops ahead of time
This place is better than any zoo that I've been to. They are very informative & can tell you specifics for each cat. I will be going back.
Great experience, the employees and volunteers care deeply about the cats and you get to see big cats closer than you probably ever have. Its a wonderful place doing wonderful work!
The animals stories are heartbreaking but the love and respect they are shown is inspiring. I never realized a male lion was so big!.
3rd time going, tours are always fascinating and all the staff are so knowledgable
Been there many times. Great to see that someone is caring for these big cats and they are not confined to a 10x10 cage.
This place is amazing! You get to see big cats up close and personal, nothing like a zoo. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Very educational experience. It's NOT a petting zoo, it's a rescue facility for big cats that are not people pets. They are doing a great job of helping big cats live out their lives in a good place.
Super friendly staff, and tour guide that answered many questions. Very knowledgeable on animals care and personality!
Very nice got to see them all up close not far away like in a zoo. Very rustic not sure there is a restroom so make sure you go before you get there.
Amazing! So much fun! Great for the kids if they are careful. The guides are very nice and very informative. They have alot of big cats. Definitely a must if you come out this way!
It's a neat place to see the big cats up close!!! They really care for the cats!!!!!
I really enjoyed this place! All the cats are beautiful and seem well cared for. Our tour guide was great, and knowledgeable. Really worth the drive!
My husband and I spent a day here a couple years ago. The experience of getting pretty close to large exotic cats was incredible. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back.
Exotic felines in the middle of Indiana? Yes! Great facility with knowledgeable staff. Tons of cats to see and the up close & personal aspect is awesome.
The care and love given to these animals is truly heartwarming! Thank you for a wonderful tour!!!
Love the information shared on each tour about where the animals come from and their stories
Every one was nice and done a great job telling about All the cats they show us great job would go back again if you have not been you should go
Very in depth with the animals and they were so informative for our 8 year old! Love what they do!
Absolutely an amazing experience. Kids loved it and I can t wait to go back.
Been there 3 times now. Did the overnight stay the last time. Awesome place. It's sad that a place like this is needed, but the staff does the best they can to give the cats a good life.
This place is amazing. So many amazing a animals with amazing stories. The people who manage, work and volunteer here are true angels11
Interesting place to visit. Friendly and informative staff. Plus exotic cats...each with their own backstory. A minimum ten dollar donation to visit is quite worth it.
Very interesting place. Ann, our guide, was very nice and patient with us and our many questions. The sad reality is there are more BIG cats as pets in captivity as there are in the wild. About 3500 in the wild and over 7000 in the US as pets. More times than not these pets get neglected and become abused. This rescue center helps them live better lives with plenty of love and care from professionals.
A vey nice walk through the facility. There is also a gift shop with nice souvenirs.
They take such good care of these rescued big felines! Our tour guide, Jan was the best! She was very informative and answered any questions from the group as we walked the gravel trails beside the fenced enclosures. The tigers and lions recognized Jan as their friend and one of their loving caretakers.
We took our grandson, who is 7, on the tour. Start to finish was an incredible experience. I've never been this close to cats of this size in my life! I loved seeing them in as natural a setting as possible. Our guide was professional and extremely knowledgeable not only about the different breeds, but she personally knew each cat and their behavior! We will definitely be back. Totally exceeded my expectation
Very educational. Got to see some very large cats up close.
I loved it when on a charity ride last Sunday got to do the tour and jessica our guide was amazing definitely will be back out there
Very fun. far cheaper than the zoo and the cats aren't always sleeping or hiding like the ones at the zoo. Kids loved it.
It is really amazing to walk through and see these animals that have been rescued and hear the stories of how they were brought there.
I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, but I was very impressed with their facility. The girls giving the tours made it very interesting and were very informative. I will be back.
We found an injured owl on the side of the road and thy came right away to rescue the poor baby. Tiffany was great. So happy for the beautiful owl.
It's fantastic that a great place like this exists.

This place is the final home for big cats, most of them rescued from people who actually thought owning such an animal was a good idea. The Center is staffed by volunteers who give tours. The standard tour is about 90 minutes. The cats are kept in large enclosures and cared for very well. When we visited, they had about 175 cats, mostly tigers. About 25 were on the tour and the volunteer tour guide knew the story of each cat. This place is located way off of the beaten path, which is logical given the nature of their business, but Google Maps took us right there. Parking is along the road, but I think they rarely have more than for cars there at a time.
Great affordable adventure and way better than the zoo
Neat place to visit. My wife and I went then 4 weeks later took our children.
This place was awesome to see, you should all come here if you get by this place.
Very interesting. The roar or "talk" between the cats is amazing!
Always a great way to see the cats. The guides are knowledgeable on the cats history. Although it could be traumatizing for some, going at feeding time is the best
Amazing place to visit! I couldn't be how close could get to the cats.
Fantastic staff can't have better care for these animals!!!
