Nice tools, miter and circular saw working perfectly years after purchase via Screwfix. only things i've had to replace is the blade.

I have several Evolution power tools and am always impressed with the quality of the products and value for money. My latest purchase is the Rage 5-s Table saw and am blown away by the features this saw has for the price. Sliding mitre table and full length Rip Fence are big winners for me, was also able to rip cut a 6ft length of 18mm Ply with ease.
Also folds away for easy storage in my small Garage / Workshop. Anybody wanting a good jobsite table saw for a good price you wont be disappointed in this.

I ordered a refurbished Circular Saw directly from their own website. Looked like a good deal.

How wrong was I. They sent the completely wrong saw, amazingly enough it was a much cheaper model! Who could have guessed it!

I felt with their customer service team over the phone who were not very willing to help me. Whilst the item remains on their website I was told they don't have the stock to send me a replacement so my only option was to return for a refund in full. They had stock of the new ones but they were not willing to send me a new one to make up for their mistake.

So they arraigned collection with DPD for me.

Now, over 2 weeks later I am having to chase them for my refund. Lots of excuses, asked me for returns reference numbers that they never gave me etc... They arranged the collection so I can't see the tracking info etc...

So I feel ripped off by this company at this point. Why am I having to chase them for their mistake?

I would recommend you spend a little more on a well know brand with decent customer service. I don't really care how good their tools may or may not be, the service is shocking. Avoid.

My wife bought me an Evolution R185CCS from Toolden. Minutes into using it it seized solid. I had installed the blade using both the (not very good) book instructions together with a couple of videos and as far as I was concerned I had installed the blade correctly. Evolution claimed I had installed it incorrectly, causing the seizure. With the intervention of a lovely woman at Toolden I was able to return the saw and was provided with a replacement. I have since contacted Evolution on more than one occasion, providing a visual and written explanation of how I intend to install the blade (I don't want to risk anything) before I use the saw, but I have received nil response from Evolution. I want to be fair to Evolution but I simply need confirmation that my intended method is correct. In the meantime the saw remains in its box, unused. Sad Christmas present. Not remotely impressed with Evolution but hugely impressed with and grateful to Laura at Toolden. I'll readily return to Toolden for any further purchases but unfortunately those purchases won't carry the Evolution logo.

Ordered some tools with next day delivery for a project planned a couple days ahead.

First item didn't arrive until after the project started and the second item never arrived.

Recently purchased a steel cutting chop saw along with a stainless steel cutting blade. The saw seems well built however the blade lasted all of 10 cuts after which most of the carbide teeth had either chipped off completely or had broken More

I'm impressed with evolution products but been trying to get hold of the evolution rage 5 table saw but no one as it in stock yet . I contact evolution by email and asked if they would price match all I got was i can have 10% off but it More

Fantastic service and products - i have three different evolution products. One the top end mitre saw and the evo system with a generator and pressure washer. Great supply of spare parts like blades and when the pressure washer part had a problem that i expected to pay for - they covered it under warrranty. They offer a fantastic fixed price repair system which means they are not a business that have out of control repair costs. I will definitely be buying more evolution tools in the future.

I got 355 metal chop saw from machine mart about 20 years ago great saw cuts metal with ease it has done a great job over the years. Ordered a replacement on a next day delivery unfortunately it has turned up and they are not good with communication UPS who are delivering for them are a nightmare as they just say the delivery is on its way and the nothing comes get that most days. I have ask evolution for a refund they have said not until we received the good back which I have no control over think that is pretty wrong. Same I really liked the company until now.
