European Wax Center Review

This was my first time ever trying european wax center. The waxer was very friendly but she was being very rough even before she started the waxing she wiped my brows but was using too much pressure. I didnt say anything and let her continue to wax me. She did a good job shaping my brows. When I left I felt sore but just brushed it off to the wax or maybe her being rough. The next day I had a big event and woke up with the skin under my brows red, swollen and completely scabbed over. I should of spoken up so I take blame but I will not be going back! Thank God it was my brows and not my vagina!! I will stick to going to benefit brow bar in macys or ulta!

Amazing work!! I didn t get her name but she is a tall African American woman. Very profesional, gentle and friendly! She did a great job in a very quick time!

They are very rude with poor customer service all they want is money

Every European Wax center I've ever been to is super clean and everyone is very professional. This location is in a beautiful plaza. I've never had a hard time getting an appointment scheduled when I want one.

Know that no matter what time you make your appointment, you will always be waiting at least 10 minutes. The staff is kind, but the scheduling is never correct. I have an annual pass and it's convenient, and that's the only reason I stay. I have a pass, yet every single time they try to sell me on something else (more services or products) - have I not spent enough? Let me be!

I have been coming to EWC for 6 years. Started in Coral gables now in Aventura. Only had a waxer I did not like one time. For New comers doing eyebrows I suggest trying different people until you find the o e you like best. Everyone has different ideas of good eyebrows. But everyone has been good.

Clean, comfortable, efficient staff, on schedule service

having gone to ewc for over a decade, this is the first time i am openly unhappy with the person i saw and the manager at the aventura location. i went in for half a face wax and brazilian. the chick i got was more interested in upselling me (her questions were vague but obviously meant for upcharging) than schooling me on her understanding of the type of brazilian i wanted. not only that BUT WHEN I GOT HOME I HAD GLOBS OF WAX ON MY PRIVATE AREA!!! i have neeevvvveerrrr experienced that!!
i had to go back the next day. olga, the woman i got the next day, was amazing!! she answered my questions and knew exactly what happened and what went wrong but she also saw spots that were not done right. also she has a bright energy about her.
then when i asked if i could give olga part of the tip given to the previous chick the day before, the manager told me that wasn't possible with some bs excuse about new corporate system procedures and that if they mess up the gratuity in their system they have no way of fixing it. the thing is, i used to be a manager in the service industry so i know the things we say to keep money on people's paychecks. totally placating on my nerves. i had no time to debate with her lies, just put on my cute little smile and say sure, that other chick got lucky cause she totally didn't deserve the tip i left. the manager totally felt like she had her high hat on, she's just lucky i had a flight to catch.

Love this place. Always clean friendly workers and very attentive to all my needs and concerns. Price is not bad as well.

So I booked an appointment due to the fact that it was the weekend, and I even confirmed the day before. I Showed up with 11 minutes of delay, (I was looking for a parking spot close to the entrance because was raining) they told me that they have 9 minutes of waiting policy... and they could not honor my appointment. I thought they were joking, but eventually was not a joke, I did not even argue I turned and left. The famous 9 minutes... everybody has to buy a chronometer before go to these folks! Keep up the good work!

I've been going to different locations of EWC over the past 12 years and I must say, this location is my favorite. It is always super clean, the staff is very attentive and most important, Keane does a fabulous job of turning my scraggly eyebrows into something I am proud of (especially now that we have to wear masks all the time and all people can see are your eyes/brows!). I live in Miami Beach and I am happy to make the drive to Aventura in order to get my eyebrows done by her.

I am a loyal customer to thee best wax specialist ever! Lorie but today I wAs referred to an young Lady by the name Kelly which is a straight 5 start across the board.not only so I highly recommend Lorie I also highly recommend her as well.words cantdescribe how good they are at their job and customer service........see you guys next month....

I absolutly love the Aventura location! The environment is always clean and the staff always polite and greets me with a smile. Whenever you go in for a waxing apointment ask for OLGA the waxer. She is by far the BEST waxer ever! Shes a perfectionist,works clean, and is super sweet and friendly! She always makes sure that I leave super satisfied with the wax.

The facility was very clean and relaxed. Laure the wax specialist I had was amazing and very knowledgeable. The two young ladies were also courteous.

I European Wax is one of the most professional places I have ever been to the girls are all quick fast efficient and don't hurt you very important in a bikini wax. I don't belong to the programs where you can get waxing for less money and free but I do know when I call there's always a time for me and I can go right in exceptionally good at there at their expertise hi. I've been going to them since they open in Aventura owner is Josh and family. It's always clean and sparkling in there's their Studio I heartily recommend them

The only place I'll go to get my eyebrows waxed. Shykerea (idk if that's how her name is spelled) is the best

Depilation like the Brazilian ones and hot wax and line, everything done with total hygiene

I ve been going for officially over a year now. I moved from NJ and was extremely hesitant. I ve only gone to Shikiria. Sorry if I spell her name wrong but she s the best and literally takes great care of you by making sure every piece of hair is gone lol I literally go every 5-6 weeks cause it takes so long to grow back

went there about 3 weeks ago my regular girl wasn't there so I went to an girl she looks like she was indian or something and she did a horrible job, ingrowns, which I never had and a break out on the skin. my regular girl never had to tweez haven't been back since than

Omg it was my first time getting a wax and I was scared due to the pain factor but Olga made me feel right at home she was nice funny and welcoming so I mostly definitely will be going back as for pictures u can't post those type of things

Excellent service and location! My favorite master Olga is amazing. She always does everything quickly and at the highest level and in addition to it is always pleasant to talk with her!

On 3/10/17 I went for a Wax service for a full bikini removal at the location 18723 Biscayne Blvd Aventura, 33180. There was an incident that took place from the wax procedure that resulted in about 3-4 layers of my skin removed from the right side of my private area. I made a incident report at the location and requested that the corporate office contact me. I waited until 3/15 after getting no response from the company I went back to the location and spoke to a manager by the name of Jennifer she took my information all over again and said there was nothing she can do at her level but she will have corporate office give me a call. It took them 2 more days to contact me which was on 3/17. I have been a loyal customer to this business at this specific location for over a decade and they never even attempted to compensate me with anything. I requested back for a refund of all my wax pass that I currently had on file (27) because It was such traumatic experience I knew I would not be going back there anytime soon or ever at all. Not only I'm I dealing with my injury I had to do a dr visit because the wound got infected which resulted in me spending unnecessary money. My anger about the entire thing is I was the one injured and instead of them just giving me back all my money they told me there was a cancellation fee so they took $25 dollars from the money I paid $450)I'm very dissatisfied about the entire thing . All the money I have spent with them it shows they do not value their customers. They never even tried to make it up to me to keep me as a customer. As of today 3/25 I'm still not heal from my wound. I just want this issue resolve so I can move on.

Dear all, vever go to Angelica - she do it very painfully, she does not care about the customer. After the visit, I left all dirty - the wax was on my skin everywhere! And the work was done bad - there was a lot of hair left (I'll have to come again.) I called to the office and reported my experiences - they promised $ 5 credit on my account- it's like a joke! I was very upset ((

Service is usually good my issue is everytime I come, on time to my scheduled apt. I Spears have to wait at least 10-15 minutes because the service provider is never ready. Other clients will walk in right before me or right after and will be seen right away. I have never come to this location and been seen on time. This is why I rated them 3 stars.

The worst customer service. If you are not "White Privilege" you get treat like scum, even with a reservation. Will not spend money were im simply not welcomed.

I've been waxing with them for over 8 years . Excellent service

i have been coming to this place for about a year and in that time frame i have had 6 waxers most of them have been good but my last waxer was great she i had her for 5 months and she was expecting.she did a great job and i know she did not leave voulentarialy. as described by the other associates they get harrased and fired for no reasons some time. here is a tip for European wax center keep your employees and treat them right if they are having a hard time help this turn over has been very hard on your customers and very inconvenient i will now be going some where else in fear of losing the next six.

Must see Jennifer (the treatment technician) who s simply stated AMAZING! Jennifer is one of the best! Highly recommended for treatment and a super nice person.

Worst experience at this location in the 10+ years as a member. My wife waited 45 minutes in the waiting area. The therapist burned her with the wax and overall made her feel very uncomfortable. Again, this is an isolated incident as she has been a member for many years.

It is awsome! I hated wax but this changed my mind. It is pain free and fast. They are very perfetional clean, kind and have the best service ever!!!

Customer service is great, since you walk in people are very nice, super good at product knowledge but the black wax, I don't know if its me but it doesn't last long, the amount of hair that grows usually is not the same when I go to my Vietnamese fave place. I pay way less($8 for brows and $6 for upper lip) and here I pay ($32 for both) for me is a big difference. I don't mean to pay less but give me quality, no quantity(hair in grows and all over). Usually a wax with them lasts a week, in comparison with the other place I go it last 2 1/2 weeks.

Love this place!! Olga is simply amazing. She's very sweet and listens to what I need. I usually go in to do my eyebrows and always leave satisfied. She's simply the best and everyone is super sweet!

My first time here today and it was amazing!!! So what they don t have 4.9 stars they were definitely better than a 4.9 star location I went to in Miami. I had Jennifer. She was fun to be around and made me comfortable. I love you girl and I love European Wax Center! I ll be going here for life. You won t regret your session. Enjoy ladies and gents. Great packages! Specially if you buy more than 9 sessions! Always fast but not painful. I am so used to teir homemade wax.. I no pain! Been going to them for 5 years already. :)

I have a 10 months old baby so i m very time limited. Got to the place to get a quick wax without an appointment. The told me that i ll have to wait for two hours. Seriously??

So I didn t get the complimentary free wax but I did have a nice experience. Like they were so nice to me and it wasn t as painful as I thought. I m so glad for the lady that had and put up with me!

Waxed! Clean those eyeborws! Earn a dollar for every appointment in advance you make.
