Tiny, but clean & well maintained. I only wish there were more direct flight options and that we didn't have to pay up so much to fly in & out of Eugene.
Tiny, but clean & well maintained. I only wish there were more direct flight options and that we didn't have to pay up so much to fly in & out of Eugene.
Friendly and efficient. I like it better than the big airports.
Airport Administration could use some lessons in customer service.
I love the Eugene airport, small but efficient. The TSA folks are the nicest, they don't take themselves too seriously. It's all just too easy.
We love flying through the Eugene airport! A renovation a few years back brought two new bag claims and a refreshed first floor. Parking is plentiful and reasonable. Everything is close and easy to access, including in-terminal car rental. TSA precheck works well, and the non-precheck line isn t very long either. Expanded flight options keep EUG an excellent access point.
Two gates, maybe a 2 minute walk between them. Few people and flight out. The foods expensive, but it always is at airports. Only airport I've been where you could show up 10 minutes before your flight and probably make it on time
Truly love this little airport. Only flown in and out twice, but it is so convenient and nice. Security lines are quick, baggage pick up is fast. The airport is super clean and has a nice little spot to grab some food/coffee before the flight.
You'll not like the deteriorated A gate area seating. Somebody isn't keeping the terminal interiors well funded in the airport budget. More stars from me when the passenger can get a reasonable standard of comfort.
Pleasant experience departing out of EUG and had a amazing burger while waiting.
Fastest, best airport experience of my life. Very calm and laid back. It was so nice to start my trip on a relaxed note with short lines and cheerful, helpful ppl, especially since my limited flying experiences were in hectic, overwhelming airports like London, LA, and Portland.
A very helpful staff. Easy terminal to go through, great experience.
My home airport... Rarely backed up, nice regional airport with plenty of connections
Small but wonderful Airport! Always great service! TSA lines move along very efficiently and staff are always very pleasant and helpful.
Small airport; it's a good thing came an hour earlier. Employees are very friendly.
It is not a large airport, but the remodel is making it look nice and the experiences have been good with customer service and the security checks.
Horrible airport operation. No snow plowing until noon. All restaurants closed except for a shop was open. Airport remain closed even when the snow has stopped for hours! If all the passagers were able to make to the airport, why can t the airport employees?
I had a flight scheduled with American Airlines that left at 510 am. I didn't see any small print that said serviced by Alaskan Airlines. Okay I guess that's my fault... Yet one would think that in an airport as small as this one, where the Alaskan airline attendant can see me standing in line for American Airlines at 330 in the morning, he might give a little smile and engage in a quick, "are you in the correct line?" I would also like to point out that 6 total passengers were in the "wrong line" for the same reason. A word on customer service, the flight attendant forgot his wheaties and actually said "it's your fault you can't read your ticket". Well okay, but that is not a tactful way to speak, young man. It was an honest mistake on mine and many others, however at what point does the airport take some responsibility. Example: shouldn't the airport know it's flights and post things better. I was not the only one in the "wrong line" considering only one flight was leaving at that time In the morning...how hard is it to help your passengers get checked into their flight? I mean that is the check in counter personnels job, isn't it, to check passengers into their flights? I have been through small airports, like in Durango, co, before but never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and incompetence. Mind you I found out I was in the wrong line for a 510am flight at 430 am. Is there really no way I could not get squeezed on my appropriate flight? It's not Portland airport or even La guardia...well finally a supervisor from American not Alaskan adjusted my flight and I got on a later flight, but the experience was absolutely awful. So... The two stars are for American Airlines, supervisors, and the really nice police that work at the airport but over the Alaskan representative and the experience, i removed stars.
Everyone, at EUGENE, OR. Airport, is So Friendly & They Always Remember Us, from All of Our Trips, back to LV, NV,.
This is the best airport I have ever been in....never too much people
Clean easy drop off and pick up. Just keep it moving or you'll be prompted to do so.
I have used this airport 2 times and love it people that helped me was very friendly.Used Portland Airport once hated it. I plan on more trips to see my friends in Otis and will use Eugene airport again
Turn down the heat! It's extremely hot in here! I'm dying!
Very clean, however don't look for more than 1 B gate because there is only 1
Airport is getting bigger and flight prices are good to. Not worth the drive to Portland any more...
Eugene airport is extremely clean, quiet and has always provided me with 5 star service. I prefer it to portland any day of the week. Twice on Sundays.
I recommend to the airport for students at OSU. It's near than PDX and the shuttle door to door and cheeper.
Nice airport. Small regional and great service, clean, friendly and fast! Good job!
Some of the staves are slow. I arrived at the airport one and a half hours early and I still missed the flight. I hope you could be more efficient in the future.
My elderly mother was there to drop off her sister yesterday and there was an issue with her ability to move her vehicle from the drop off point and being able to move to short term parking. The person in front "parking police" person was extremely rude, loud and offensive. I would not want to come back to this airport if this is how they treat people. The situation could have been handled much better. He upset her very much and was not willing to listen. The need for policies and procedures is understood, but there are ways to meet these standards with tact and perspective. If this person out front is the first encounter someone has with this airport what is their first impression and feeling about the whole facility?
I like to leave this place. I sometimes like to come back.
Quick security checks and friendly restaurants with delicious food. It s small so there isn t any rushing to get to flights.
For the size of the Eugene Airport, its not a bad airport. The lines are short, at least during Covid.
Small but easy to navigate, & has a decent variety of airlines, rental cars & affordable parking.
Our airport has grown considerably from what it used to be!! Its super nice and clean. It feels safe here with lots of security!! Everyone who we have come in contact with has been very courteous and kind!! The only person who seemed crotchety seemed to be the old man collecting parking fees on our way out!! It Costs $1.50 per half hour for parking which Can add up really quickly. U are not allowed TO park in front of the airport anywhere, but as you drive to the airport before u get there over on the left there is a free WI FI spot where you can park free while u wait for your passengers. Saves ALOT of parking $$
What an amazing small airport....even the TSA were amazing.. my favorite airport in the country...
Misplaced luggage; delivered next day; no customer service personnel on duty to help
Easy access for pickups and departures, and a phone waiting area near the runway so you can avoid paying for short term parking!
About as efficient of an airport as it gets. I've never taken more than 10 minutes to get through security.
Hasn't been renovated in a long time. But it's okay for not having to drive to Portland.
Always love the Eugene airport - it's low-key and the staff are friendly
The lovely small airport serves Eugene well, and super easy to check-in, pass screening, board, etc. I mean, all take less than 30min.
Twice now on separate occasions, consecutively and within one week of time, my mother's flight has experienced technical difficulties. All passengers were unboarded, made to wait for emergency maintenance until finally sent home into the night. My mother had to drive home with her night blindness, got lost and barely made it home. Not happy.
I like how small the airport is but still has all the basics covered. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Landed in Eugene with Alaska Air. A wheelchair and attendant was waiting for me at the plane..it was a long flight from Edmonton,Alberta and a 3 hour layover in Seattle,so I appriciated this service.
This is a really nice Airport.
On my return flight I had a nice breakfast in the cafe.
I wasn't impressed with the fact that I had to remove my shoes for the screening, if your 75 yrs old you don't , but it seems at 72 I am too young! .
Small regional airport with decent efficiency and service. Could use a little more short term parking during busy periods. Redesign has made security processing more efficient, and transitions to the gates is generally quite smooth. Try and eat before you arrive onsite as culinary options are quite limited. Be aware this airport is small enough that airline desks are not staffed 24/7. Call in advance to check for staffing during off hours.
The motto at EUG used to read, "You can't get there from here", this is no longer the case, with more direct flights to more cities than ever; but still no food choices and no decent coffee.
The Eugene airport is the second largest airport in Oregon. Having flown out of this airport multiple times, I love the convenience of an early morning flight and only having to arrive 45 minutes before take off. There is a restaurant outside of security that will serve cocktails and food, otherwise the only other food is it a small convenience store inside security. While only smaller commercial flights land and take off from the Eugene airport, it has been retrofitted for a larger commercial and private planes to land, which has included Air Force One.
Beautiful.. quiet and serene setting just outside the front entrance.
More hometown and stylish than other airports.
I use this place all the time! The area is big but the security are kind and always willing to help. Lovely airport to go to and fro from
Nice people no rush very helpful and respectful security staff.
No problems on this visit. We weren't there long. For some reason, there was no charge for parking.
Well maintained and simple layout. Hardly ever crowded during the non holiday times and flow of operations is well managed.
This is a good local airport. Small and easy to get around.
Very clean airport . Generally moves well. Early mornings (4am) mondays are really busy. Get there earlier
Nice little airport. Gave me what I needed, and did not take long.
I got a weird vibe from the employees. Sketched out vibe.
However, at least pick-up and drop-off is convenient. Ninkasi beers at the bar are a nice touch.
What's the policy with pets? Like if you have a little dog? Those are my questions other that oh my gosh there staff are so sweet like just the ones who check your bags, and I'm taking another trip soon I hope it's going to be a similar or better experience
Administration leaves you on an automated loop. Absolute trash.
Super easy to check in, security is always nice. No problems at all.
Small airport but has everything a larger one does just a scaled down. If you're looking for quiet time try B gates not much going on there. A gates has cafe type restaurant with burgers, pizza and burritos. Also pre made salads and sandwiches, prices are about the same as any other airport $9.99 pre made sandwiches but the burgers are good for the same price. Next door is a bar with ESPN on the TV. WiFi at this airport seems pretty good except for the walkway going towards A gates. Lower level has a sit down restaurant with access before and after security. Fair amount of outlets to charge your phone etc.
This is a super-easy, peaceful little airport, and those of you who travel a great deal know those two things are non -negotiables. Rental cars are easy to get to and there is a great little cafe for those holdovers. Free wifi from the city of Eugene makes this as close to an painless travel experience as you can get to....
Great little airport
Easy in and out
Always adding new flights
All the staff, from the car rental to the airline help were not service orientated. At all.
horrible experience!!! My daughter was there in plenty of time and they didn't do anything to help her get on her flight. They did everything in their power to ensure she missed her flight , which she did, in thanks to the Eugene Airport. Their TSA did everything possible to ensure they couldnt let her on her flight, though her seat was already paid for and nobody in their stupid little airport wnted to take responsibility to assist her.
