I had a flight scheduled with American Airlines that left at 510 am. I didn't see any small print that said serviced by Alaskan Airlines. Okay I guess that's my fault... Yet one would think that in an airport as small as this one, where the Alaskan airline attendant can see me standing in line for American Airlines at 330 in the morning, he might give a little smile and engage in a quick, "are you in the correct line?" I would also like to point out that 6 total passengers were in the "wrong line" for the same reason. A word on customer service, the flight attendant forgot his wheaties and actually said "it's your fault you can't read your ticket". Well okay, but that is not a tactful way to speak, young man. It was an honest mistake on mine and many others, however at what point does the airport take some responsibility. Example: shouldn't the airport know it's flights and post things better. I was not the only one in the "wrong line" considering only one flight was leaving at that time In the morning...how hard is it to help your passengers get checked into their flight? I mean that is the check in counter personnels job, isn't it, to check passengers into their flights? I have been through small airports, like in Durango, co, before but never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and incompetence. Mind you I found out I was in the wrong line for a 510am flight at 430 am. Is there really no way I could not get squeezed on my appropriate flight? It's not Portland airport or even La guardia...well finally a supervisor from American not Alaskan adjusted my flight and I got on a later flight, but the experience was absolutely awful. So... The two stars are for American Airlines, supervisors, and the really nice police that work at the airport but over the Alaskan representative and the experience, i removed stars.
