We were very pleased with the general atmosphere and friendliness
Pdx bathrooms are cleaner than Eugene's, no paper towles and just a mess. Common guys gave a little pride
The airport was great, easy access to everything. The airline however was another story. No long lines at security when I left Eugene. There's vending machines and place to get some food to take on your flight after security. I brought an empty water bottle to fill in the inside. Coming back was a breeze. For the most part everyone seamed to follow social distancing. I flew Allegiant, I noticed everyone was packed in the back of the plane. Their business model wants you to pay to upgrade your seat if you want to have any kind of distancing. I kindly asked to be seated somewhere else when I noticed I was in the middle seat on a full row. I was told I could change seats after we were in the air. I said that would be pointless after sitting next to someone. I noticed the middle and front portion of the plane were EMPTY. I just moved myself to an empty row, ignoring the attendant. I said I'd move if someone already reserved the seat. After take off the back of the plane was packed with people and the 2 rows in front and back of me that were empty. Don't take no for an answer when your life is at risk. I didn't mention I'm going through chemo therapy.
Low stress. I don't enjoy stressful travel, and crowded airports. This airport is clean, quite, and low key. I like it a lot.
Eugene Airport is a nice, easy airport to fly in and out of. I haven't flown out of portland in years. Thank you Eugene Airport!
We took an early morning flight, everyone we encounter was very friendly. Security is friendly an fast, parking is easy. The only down fall is ther is only one option for food and coffee.
Very clean. Didn't have the staff to help with people needing special assistance.
It's a small airport but the staff and service is excellent.
This is a nice, relatively small airport. The layout is easy to navigate and there are several restaurants at the gates.
I thought burbank was easy to fly in our out of, Eugene is to Burbank like what burbank is to lax!
Extremely unpleasant to use this airport. Employees seem to hate the patrons. Everyone who has a connecting flight is probably much better off flying out of PDX . I've tried to leave feedback with management and they have never called me back.
Everything was pretty quick and efficient. If not for the person with a rental car issue in front of me I could have been out of there in 15 minutes from getting off the plane, picking up my checked bags (golf clubs) and getting my rental car. No complaints. The only reason this is not a 5 star is the facility is due for an interior modernization project or two.
I like the Eugene airport because it is easier to get in and out of. Some of the downfalls are not many flights come in and checking in takes way too long
There's nothing special about this place, but it is very easy to fly in and out of.
Super easy to navigate, and the traffic flow was easy to follow
Since they share a large parking lot with Jerry's there is usually a bit of trouble getting in and out of the parking lot. Its a clean store, and there is plenty of space to social distance.
So quick and quiet, sure beats the crowd in portland
Nice airport been here like 3 or 4 time but when ever I'm trying to return home out of all the metal detectors I have been through this is the only one that detects something in my private everyone I go through and they pay me down and ask me all the questions I told them I never have anything and they asked if I had a metal belt buckle I was where in basket ball shorts or sweat pants with no metal 2 out of the 4 times I some what feel like they do it on purpose.
Smooth, simple, fast. Not the adjectives I'd use for flying out of PDX. If you have a choice, use Eugene because of the smaller scale which makes for a calmer, quieter experience. You won't find all the airlines here but since I'm an Alaska fan I'm happy, check out allegiant too.
Wonderful little Airport! The easiest pick-up/drop-off ever! The food at the, one, little grill is expensive and terrible. Waiting for a delayed flight and made the mistake of trying to eat here. Such a disappointment to an otherwise great experience
At delta counter no one no signs . 45 min group agents door open having good time Person comes out and says you have wait We do not have to check I until 2 hrs before flight. I have not been in an airport that you are not able to check in He then goes and gets a sign what are agents doing sitting in backroim is this productive
Easy to navigate, always on time and clean airport.
Gorgeous airport! Pretty mellow and quiet, people seem friendly, and security is a breeze!
Lots of great views of the surrounding countryside from gate seating. Everything looks pretty new too.
I fly often and this one is perfect for the area. Not too fussy, has all the basics and friendly people.
The only airport in the United States where I can't bring a Diet Coke with me nor can I buy one after I get to my gate. Pepsi is gross.
Got to the airport with plenty of time to get to gate and was told that I had to miss my flight because no one was at the counter to check me in. Completely the airports fault and so ridiculous!
Oh Eugene, Oregon! haha. I thought this was a large airport! Nope! One entrance, check point. Really nice customer service though. There's no tram for car rentals as it's just outside the entrance of the airport.
There's a cool work place with a fireplace if you're waiting between flights. Umm, yes! There's a rocking chair. haha
Great atc and format. Atlantic Aviation has nice staff, but fuel is comparability expensive.
Smaller airport but well designed and organized. My visit was at night so it was pretty quiet.
Typical mid-sized airport. Don't expect anything special, but it is cozy in its own way.
Airport was great. Fast security and nice TSA Agents. Horrible hamburger at restaurant. Undercooked and had a not fresh taste!!! No time to go back and make it right. Had to get on flight.
For the most part, this is a neat little airport to pop in and out of. I've enjoyed using this spot a few times already.
Sadly, once I moved here, I realized that if you don't have a relative, co-worker, or friend to drive you to the airport, you gotta shell out $20 for a Lyft or an Uber to/from the airport. NO BUENO! It's bonkers that there is NO BUS OR SHUTTLE SERVICE TO/FROM EUGENE OR SPRINGFIELD.
I mean, how long has this airport been around, 70 years? You're telling me that these folks can't just partner with the city, the county and/or the University of Oregon to get at least ONE little bus to drive in a circle a couple times a day so folks can get better access to flights?
Think of how many international students attend the UO. That's insane that there isn't a program for this!
Clean, efficient. Very high parking rates, economy parking currently not offered.
Great little airport, the staff are very friendly and quick. I love flying out of here much more than Portland!
EUG is so easy to park at and navigate. Usually you go through security and you're right at the gate.
Such an easy and quick airport to get in and out of.
A great airport that is close to family that we fly in to see! Also, they were amazing in finding my husband and daughter's jackets that we left when we were checking in for a very early morning flight before New Year's! We called when we got back to Denver and they had them in Lost and Found and are shipping them back to us for free!! A very Big Thank You!!!
