This kids facilities and school holidays activities are amazing. Lunch time meal specials are great value. Thank you to Jacqui who helped the kids with the fire fly making and Lliandra on the rock wall climbing.

Local large pub that caters for one and all. Great for large get togethers. Plenty of children activities for all ages. Rock climbing, playground, games room etc. Pokies galore in separate area for those who need a fix.
Except for specials it it a little on pricier side for some of the traditional pub fare. Always busy so be prepared to queue for ordering. Staff always helpful when approached. The food is what you expect of pub fare.. Nothing to die for unfortunately.
Had birthday party for my kid, place is nice. Food order policy is ridiculous, have been forced to pre-order 2 weeks back and because some guests reduced cannot cancel some food item not even provided credit. End up wasting lot of food, can't prefer for the party as not flexible at all.

Great place for all types of group festivities and sizes. Live bands, good food and clean.
Not going to go into a long rant, staff were extremely unhelpful when we booked our event months ago, told us the kids area was not be completed then we found out it is!!!... Won't be booking any functions there again..
Nice place, great for kids on a sunny day as it has plenty if play equipment and you can see the kids whilst eating. the drinks are expensive, the food its good but a little pricey as well.

The Ettamogah Pub is a laid-back, typical pub.
The food available is pretty standard fare and reasonably priced, and there's a reasonable range of drinks.
The exterior is quite unique - a strange, three-storey, wooden cabin, with exaggerated sloping-out walls.
The interior is a bit old and really not flash. The internal courtyard is neat, and there are some arcade games that make an interesting little addition.
In general, the pub is quite nice but really not that flash.
Very mixed. Good area for kids, food OK. Slow bar service at times. Popular in summer on weekends.
Food is good, large range of drinks. Great activities to keep kids occupied. With all the children's activities - climbing wall, jumping castles, play equipment and games room - you would hope there would also be a parents room to accompany this. Unfortunately this is not the case and changing my 2 month old is better done in his pram or in the boot of the car.
Overpriced food and brisket is best left on your plate if you want to stop chewing.

This is how we received my Ettamogah desert!!!! Melted ice cream and half a piece of cake!!!!! Main was cold and not worth the money!!! Only ordered cake for the birthday boy - really regret getting it. Better off going across the road to Maccas!!! Save your time and money
Love to go here with the kids, can get packed really quickly with events and hard to find seating. There is a big play gym for the kids, usually a jumping castle, sometimes facepainting, also a games room.
Need to step it up with there food and needs a refurbish
Ordered a medium rare eye fillet which was served blue. When I brought it to the attention of the waiting staff they said oh ill let them know. 15 mins later I heard nothing back. So I just left and won't be back for awhile. Poor service

I already had a bad experience with one of a staff member over the phone without visiting the place with Staff Kaitlyn for making a booking. Now how can I even visit that place. She would not listen to me effectively instead argued over booking. I kindly asked her if I can add another person to a group of 10 and she said no. It was fine with me so I decided to book another table of 2 separately. She was being rude with attitude telling me off. She highly needs customer service training and learn how to communicate with people. I just wanted to dine in with my child. I know covid rules and she didn't need to explain to me since I work face to face customer service as well. She didn't need to cut me off while am talking. Very disappointing.
1 month a go today, my daughter booked a function only to have it closed down after 2 hours. The problem was seemingly, that what one manager had told us were the conditions of bookings, was different to what the next manager told us.
They kindly refunded the booking fees as obviously they were in the wrong but not the food nor the cost of decorating the function room nor the cost of the DJ booked for the night.
I spoke to a 3rd manager the next day to find out about a refund for the food ordered, who said he would get the owner to call me.......I'm still waiting!!!!!
Do not book here as they are over priced and unreliable.
Great family pub, with great food, but no good beer options. We regularly go here with the kids, due to the excellent play area and rock climbing wall. However, assist from Cooper's Green, there are no decent beers on offer. Putting on a Riverside 44 or something similar would greatly improve the experience for anyone that enjoys a good beer.
$40 for a surf and turf the steak could have been a little bigger

Nice place & good for kids.....would have been five stars except i thought the wait time for the food was a little too long(30-40mins)as trying to keep 3 hungry kids under 8 sitting at the table waiting for food is a hard task.....other than that everything else was great.

Good venue, ok food, i made the mistake of paying by eftpos and was double charged.
After weeks of trying to recover my second charge, they manager wouldn't budge, so i had to cancel my card in order to process a dispute with my bank. I got my refund 1.5months later.
I will never be using my card in this place, if I ever visit again
Great family atmosphere and a wide variety of food to choose from. Lots to do for kids of all ages. Can get really busy on weekends and birthday parties.
Apart from being over priced and totally average food. They really need to improve how they handle food allergies. I placed a order for my family including my peanut allergic child and i informed them of her allergy and was told it was fine. After waiting 1 and a half hours for our food to arrive. It came minus my daughters, kitchen staff informed me that i would need a refund for her meal as the could not guarantee her saftey eating from the kitchen. I was outraged as they could have informed me when i placed the order or shortly after..what was i to do? Have my hungry child watch the rest of the family eat? I ended up having to go across the road to macdonalds so she could eat.
Had a great time for a birthday with friends here. The artificial grass needs to be removed and the area cleaned back, otherwise it's a fantastic place.
Pretty good. Food is abit pricey. I paid roughly $18 for a bbq pork burger that tasted the same as a KFC Kentucky burger plus$10... lucky I like Kentucky burgers. The footy was on so I was happy
Terrible experience. Ordering staff were unsure of the system, our order came out wrong, twice! When the food finally came correct it was not nice, the staff had very little understanding of gluten free, cutlery was all dirty- could not find a clean knife and folk, even all the high chairs were filthy. No wonder we were the only people having breakfast, everyone else knows better!

Food is below average. Very long lines. Too many unsupervised children. Staff seem stressed and can be rude. We were asked to be quiet by security when celebrating a major jackpot win on the pokies with friends. Not a place for adults. Has mcdonalds birthday party atmosphere.

A spacious family-friendly pub with great outdoor functions for the kids (rock climbing, arcade) as well as plenty of seating and parking. Food is on the pricey side aside from the special lunch menus which were of great value. Would come back for lunch again

Went to Ettamogha pub today for Nana's birthday.Got there early..Ordered, waited an hour.Went to counter and checked that orderer habn't been lost.They said its coming.Waited another half an hour.Enquired again and they said Oh Sorry. We lost the order.They offered free coffee.Woopy doo!

We have eaten at this friendly venue over the last 15 years and the family have always had a great time. There are plenty of excellent items on the menu and the beer of the month is only $5. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Kids have numerous things to keep them occupied rock climbing is always a favourite activity. Our last visit was more than memorable when we happened to be there at the same time as the Parramatta eels. A staff member took my son a avid fan who was wearing there jersey over to met them it was a highlight he won't forget soon. Thank you all the hard working team at the ettamogah!
Upsetting to say the least, will not be coming back ever again which is a shame, unfortunately this is a classic example of great venue with lack luster staff and most importantly terrible chefs in the kitchen.
First time here we received a refund voucher for shockingly bad food and the next time I tried coming for Sunday lunch at 1pm the line to order was 40 miniutes long plus a 30 minute cook time so I left without ordering.
Next time to use the voucher I came early for Sunday breakfast - waffles were good, Eggs Benedict not so bad but under seasoned, got an extra poached egg that was raw inside (very runny white with water inside), pancakes are like rubber (hard and chewy).
Sorry but 3 strikes and your out... I really did try to like this pub. The kids play area and outdoor seating with live band stage should be a great way to enjoy the weekend.
Good for group catch ups with little ones able to run a mock. Just be prepared to line up to order food.

Had tickets to see Diesel and couldn't get anywhere near to even hear him .. we're musicians and would hate to play here. Most of crowd that were all standing couldn't hear or see. Heaps of people like us walked out. What a horrible venue for punters to watch live music.
