Really disappointed with this new playground system. You need to 1. Buy a Kids meal OR 2. Pay $5 to enter the playground....oh and this is just a one entry of 45 mins, not back and forth. Most ridiculous system...definitely will not recommend for families in fact will discourage anyone we know going there....too many tears !!!
Received response blah blah....using covid as an excuse....still no reason why there is a charge for kids to use a playground, especially when you already had a playground that was free to use. I would imagine the profit from your over priced meals would certainly have covered the cost of providing a free playground.

Popular meeting placed for locals. Had terrible service with a special footy final evening. Total rip off. Food was supposed to be all you can eat pizza but they kept filling out beer glasses and said the food would be out later as they couldn't cope. I won't be back. Pity because I've had some good evenings meeting people there in the past.
Good selection, value for money, good food, awesome vibe. Loads of space, and a great play area for the kids. Definitely recommend it to families. We will definitely go back. Thanks for the great service.
Nice environment... family friendly with plenty for kids to do. Delicious meals... steak cooked perfectly to order, which i find hard to come by these days ! Loved the water misting outside, made a hot day seem about 5 degree's cooler! Definitely go again for sure!
Functions staff were exceptional, in particular Isabella and Justin, went above and beyond. Functions Manager Lisa, just knows how to treat their guests. Providing all the information needed and making the night enjoyable
First time visitor. Spacious and the kids are entertained. Had to leave with the kids prior to the State of Origin commencing. Cannot wait to come back.
Never to trust their event management, complete waste of time!!!
Visited pub planning to organize first birthday on 15th April. Met with Lisa their events coordinator and it was clearly mentioned that the event is over the easter weekend. This was very well noted then by both the parties. However the whole experience went downhill with set of lies said right on your face. That day we took buffet menu home. I called back after 10 days and spoke with same lady again to discuss the menu and asked if it can be modified. Asking our requirements she modified the menu and said this can be done on set price. It was again mentioned that the party is on easter weekend and the lady acknowledged the fact. To make a deposit an appointment was fixed on Friday mid day as she advised she will be available then. My wife came back from work on her lunch break to make the deposit. On both of our arrival we were advised that she is busy. If was busy then why was the appointment given then and wasted both of our time. Same lady attended us then and after looking at the discussed menu changed the verdict that she is not sure if the price will be same. Their main chef was called upon to discuss and straight away additional 85 dollars were added to the dish with number of pieces going down from 60 to 30 per dish. She kept pushing us to make a deposit and that menu can be discussed later. Since she was busy and have not much time, gave us negative after negative encounter. I mentioned menu is everything and unless this is confirmed and set rightly we are unable to make any deposit. Then she gave us some platter options to consider. After discussing with my wife we asked if it can be mixed and matched with buffet menu. She with frustration on her face said not sure and have to check with chef pushing again to make deposit for venue first. After then she went inside to check with chef the price if it can be done. Coming out after 2 minutes the first thing she said sorry we are unable to host function that day because it is easter weekend. Me and wife were taken aback with surprise thinking this lady just dont want any of our business it seemed. Then again she changed saying oh we can host the function but there will be 10 percent surcharge. We queried as why was this not advised earlier, facing another lie that there was no date mentioned earlier. I showed the same buffet menu we took home first day on which she wrote with her own hands her name and contact number. She agreed it was her hand writing however another lie that no date was given to her that day and we were suppose to get back to her later. If no date was given how was she able to check availability of their home stead functions room. Not sure if Saturday on easter is considered as public holiday to apply surchage however paying that was not an issue for us. The issues was facing lies up front and being negative with not fulfilling the appointment time, changing menu prices & advising no date was given to her. It seemed we were being burden there for this hospitality outlet. Venue price was given $450 on first day and changed to $500 on next call. To bring our own chocolate fountain was not allowed before stating the pub policy, however this was changed later on call. No set standards whatsoever.
This place is awesome! I was down visiting from the United States and enjoyed my time checking out this pub. I would definitely recommend it for visitors or just to have a good time.
Great place for get togethers. Really friendly and polite staff. Very clean outside and in the bathrooms. Lots of activities for kids to keep them occupied
Steered away from the schnitzels as they were $25+!! So elected for a burger at near $20.. Save your money and go across the road to Maccas. My side of pepper sauce tasted like massaman curry and the fries were unsalted? Go figure.. Rude bar staff and the live act was only on until 7.30?! Why have it at all (she was great by the way, my only reason for 1 Star)
Food is so overpriced for what it is. $24 pizza is a joke, don't waste your money. $40 for a smoked meat tester made me mad as i do it better at home... dry tasteless brisket, disappointed is an under statement.
Service was friendly, food was a bit of a let down. A bucket of "sticky wings" came with crumbed wings and a meager drizzle of sauce. Staff happily provided more sauce on the side but the impact and appeal was already lost. Lamb shanks my sister had were hearty and delicious would definitely recommend that dish (was from the daily special board). Classic chicken schnitty was juicy inside and crunchy outside.
First time in this iconic pub's bistro eatery, won't be the last.
Good job I hadn't taken a mouthful of my beer when she said the price or I would have sprayed the whole bar - $20 for 1 beer & one gin/tonic! Seriously?!?!
Great place for the whole family it has an assisted rock climbing wall and kids playground. We went on a Sunday which had a live band playing outside and a great atmosphere
Environment was good, loved the outdoor areas and games for children. The food was average and pricey, wished they gave sauce or gravy with my dish. ($30ish)
Went on a Sunday lunch to enjoy the family friendly activities. So glad we booked a table as it is crazy busy with birthday parties and other functions.
My daughter loved the reptile man, the jumping castle and playground.
Definitely lacking a decent parents room/baby change facility. For a very family friendly venue, a single change table in a disabled toilet is not enough. Especially when it is tucked behind a bar at the other side of the venue, far from the outdoor play area. Also, the women's toilets were awful while we were there. At least two were backed up and smelt terrible.
On the upside, the food was amazing and we were looked after by wonderful staff.
Nice local pub where you can meet. Typical pub style meals with large outdoor area for eating jumping castle, kids playground, face painting and regular performers. Parking out front.
Ive past by this place so many times and thought it was just the red building outfront...boy was I wrong. This place is the size of a zoo! Biggest pub ive been in and there is sooooo much to do!!
Fantastic Venue for the whole Family, or just a cleansing Ale with Friends, New and Oldmates. Amazing Staff, Fantastic Meal options. Live Music, and are a stones throw from Rail. Just finnished a Radio Xmas Work Party there. Even got us Cabs on Call We could not have asked for more. Thank You Ettamogah, Kellyville Ridge.
Good place to spend your week end evenings with friends.Friendly staff and atmosphere is awesome except it is noisy.Good place to celebrate birthdays and get together.
Way to ruin my nieces graduation lunch. Yes we had 20-30 people but surely like every other venue you can do seperate groups of 10. Seemed like he was the manager said they weren t allowed to do that. I mentioned other venues do it and he said there not supposed to. Well the fiddler took our service wish we just went there in the first place.
