What happened to the food at the Etta? Used to be so good, instead today we waited 45 mins to be served disappointment.
2 * wag burgers were both dry, over cooked and honestly how do you screw up a burger?
The parmy looked like they slapped the ham on it and let the cheese sort itself out - y all used to be the best schnitzy in the West at one point.
Chefs recommendation was the beef and mushroom pie - my recommendation is to take it off the menu; who the hell serves green peas in a little ketchup container? Thought I was at the hospital.
The only thing enjoyed was the chicken wings.
Great place, great staff but if I m gonna pay 25$ plus for food, should be at the least decent!
What s gone wrong at the Etta!??
Really enjoyable, great food & atmosphere. I would definitely book, as very popular.
Although experienced, the TAB operator needs to be more friendly, helpful, approachable, not just concentrate all attention to regulars, otherwise, that will be all the customers u get
Back again today. The beef burger was as tough as rubber and the bun was stale.
The beer is cold but the food is only average. Don't have the gravy!
Great pub for all occasions. Great selection of sports on TV, awesome food, cold beverages and cage to lock you kids in. Perfect!
Food is fantastic, not that noisy atmosphere that you can't hear yourself think. Although the arcade needs a bit of an update
Our family of ten visited last evening for the last time. Very limited, very expensive menu, no dark beer available either on tap, or in bottle. Couldn't talk when the League started, so much for a family venue.
Never again.
Food is okay, but if you have kids, this is a great spot for them to run around.
Well i was with my family and we thought you know whats a good idea going to this pub but i dont know what happened but you guys arent getting any order right i wanted a mini burger and you guys didnt get me a burger 1/10 never going here again
Probably the worst pub food I ve had. $21 for the wagyu burger,I m pretty sure it was made from a frozen meat patty. The bun was like concrete and top it off both mine and my wife meal was cold. Also bought to schooners, both times had to ask the bar staff to top the beer up. Good spot just bad food bad service.
One of the best place ever been to. You can enjoy playing games, casino, enjoy the live music with the food and drinks on the side. Once you enter it s like you re in a whole new world. You can take your kids along with you as there are various entertainment for kids like the jumping castles, rock climbing.
P.S. Do try the Margarita Pizza its delicious. Not to forget there is huge parking for the cars as well.
Excellent food and menu choices.
Would visit again. Prawn linguini had just the right amount of prawns
Very happy with the food and service provided. Was there today for lunch and was very happy.
Clean, food was great, and staff were friendly
Was a good evening with the kids. Plenty of place to move around and good ambience for family and friends.
We had a birthday party the kids loved it and their families food was good had a great time thank you
Love going here for dinner with the family on a Tuesday cheap schnitzel meals $12 kids can play while waiting for the meals and service is always quick and friendly.
Good bistro bar staff mucked around a bit hence the 4 stars.
Amazing place for birthday parties and family time. Huge place with multiple bars and entertainment such as an arcade. Very skilled bartenders, perfectly balanced drinks. Do not eat the salad, it was not fresh. Steak tasted good but the texture was too tough to chew. Highly recommend the tower burger and schnitzels. Lovely time, great atmosphere.
Excellent service also very efficient and courteous, polite and helpful
Great place to kick back and have a beer with mates without the annoyances that The Fiddler has. Great big play area for the kids, comfortable and welcoming. Foods pretty good too.
Great outdoor atmosphere for children and families, lots for the kids to do (so us parents can have a drink or few) however the jumping castle is a little dangerous. My son was on their and the next thing I know the whole castle is deflating with children still inside. I ran over in a panic however was relieved to see the young female manager already addressing. She was very professional and kid friendly when telling the kids about being safe. Didn t see it fall again! This wasn t the first time for this to happen and all those other times no one has cared, but to see management actively caring about all patrons (children included) makes myself feel comfortable coming back every week. I wanted to give special mention to the manager, I didn t catch her name but she was on yesterday, wearing a green shirt and brown hair, I feel bad not asking her name but wanted to thank her.
Came back from the funeral and gathered here for family get together, great services food was nice and services was great...place for kids to enjoy great selection from the bar and finger foods were delicious and nice, thanks to all the great staff, thank you from Fiji.
Quickly turning into a place of extreme noise , drunkenness and violence. So much for responsible service of alcohol. These idiots keep serving drinks to people who are clearly drunk off their faces, and then that's how fights and arguments break out. Saw 2 guys start yelling and arguing over some such thing, then one grab the other and slam him against the wall. The crowd had to break it up. These guys just don't give a damn as long as they make money.
food good, prices reasonable, good setup for the kids. Especially liked the rock climbing wall for the kids.
Anyone and everyone who live in The Hills district have been to The Ettamogah. It seems to be the focus of lunchtime venues when one has run out of ideas. The Ettamogah is located on Windsor Road in Kellyville Ridge. It has a landmark warped building on display at the front.
The pub has a lunchtime menu that also caters for kids. They have special lunchtime meals for $12.50 for adults, $11 for seniors and $11.50 for kids. I can recommend the fish & chips, schnitzel or burger. I don t suggest the steak as it seems to me to be of unknown provenance.
For the kids there's the Arcade Room, Jumping Castle, Play Gym, Pool Tables and Rock Climbing.
There s plenty of parking and if you want to extend your partytime to home, then there s a Dan Murphy s next store where you can pick up a slab.
Not as clean as I would have expected. Ticks all the right boxes but it has a feeling of something not being quite right. Mainly I felt the place seemed like it needs a good clean.
Needed to keep outdoor area clean & allow public toilets to be available for patrons. Very poor
Great place .
Great service and food ..
Great service, tasty food, awesome prices, 10 out of 10
Food was not good and the place is not for my liking, I guess it is a personal choice, very loud music , u cant have a conversation.
Pretty family friendly, and nicer since the renovations
Big place. Great for families. Something for everyone. Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Good food.
Worst bartender in the world. Had a girl by the name of Robyn/Romany serve me and was just completely rude. Asked for two drinks which I had ordered literally 2 mins before and acted like she didn't know mind you this was at 11.30pm with an empty pub...... Otherwise ettamogah is a nice venue but the old bartender were much friendly and fun to be around with....... Guess I'm moving to a new local...... Anything but Ettamogah hotel. Her manager Martin was not helpful either.
Food was great. Saw Fawlty Towers with dinner was do much fun
Bigger than it appears on the outside, multiple bars and friendly staff. They even have an arcade for the kids and kidults.
Another woolwoerths owned pub, very similar to the fidler, lots of noise and screaming kids, if thats your scene, it's not mine.
Great venue with great well priced food ideal for watching the state of origin games.loved the blues burger.
No kid friendly options. We come here for lunch or dinner because it has a play ground for the kids and an extensive menu (for a pub) and we were disappointed with the small breakfast menu with no kids friendly options except waffles covered in cream and syrup!
Took ages to make our food.. typical pub food nothing special. Boring atmosphere
Overall the night was lovely... but on a Friday night, what s the point of having the bar inside if it s not even opened? Had to wait 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine because too many customers not enough service.
Great place for the family, jumping castles and large playground for the kids. Food is very good!
Great place for big groups! Been a couple of times and hasn t disappointed!
Great for families!!! Food is good and a selection of beers on tap.
Best place for get together and very genuine price.
Had a terrible experience at the pub yesterday, from staff that were beyond rude to Covid rules not being followed. How can I get in contact with the venue manager?
Good atmosphere, crowded on weekends but plenty of activities for families. Beverage prices are very reasonable as well, and their 50c wings on Fridays are to die for.
Excellent pub with good food. Awesome if you have kids with an indoor playground and small outdoor rock climbing wall.
Good family atmosphere. Relatively good pub food. Have good weeknights specials.
Food was good, kid friendly love all the activities for kids, rock climbing, jumping castle etc. Outside area was perfect, wish the pizza oven was on would have loved to had a pizza, maybe next time.:)
good local watering hole, pokies spot, decent food and arcade area. family friendly
Food was great. They do the best ribs in western Sydney.
From what started out as an awful beginning, ended up being a wonderful day. Visited on Sunday and didn t book a table. I spoke to the manager if any tables were available (4 people) and was told I should of booked prior. The only table that was available was next to a loud group of men cheering on a fight outside. Ordered food, however a buzzer was flat and our food was sitting there a while. The same manager looked annoyed when I asked for my food to be reckoned. Eventually my food arrives and was delicious at least. Another manager (I believe was, was wearing all black that didn t look like a uniform) came to clear our table and asked us about our experience. After hearing how unhappy we were, she helped us find a nicer quiet table inside and offered us coffee and cakes for the hassle. Just shows that the fights might be important, but so are the customers!
**** original post, my reply to them below ***
Bad:
Pricy food (eg$30) and VERY average +. And out cold. My wife and I had a steak and my wife had lamb shanks. In addition, my steak was tasteless and my wife s lamb shanks were the same - so 1 Star
Good: Fantastic for kids, they had two jumping castles as well as face painting + play area which our young daughter had a great time on = 4 stars

Reply to Ettamogah s reply to my post:
Hi my wife, father & I all returned today. I spoke with Andrew, the manager on Duty today prior to ordering and explained the situation. He said my comments were quite concerning and that it was quite unusual and and unfortunate that our food had come out cold and assured me thst it would not be the case today
My wife, father and I all ordered our food, and when the buzzer sounded, i areives promptly to pick up our food. In disbelief, I found our food to be cold again. To make sure I had not missed the buzzer (I thought we may have been out of range being on the other side of the pub near the jumping castle), I asked the lady in the kitchen if I had come straight away, or if I had missed the buzzers first calls. She said that no, I had not missed anything, and that she had only just buzzed me
I took my food straight to Andrew who was on the bar, asking him to try my cold chips (with my TBone) and then my cold salmon. He did, and then took them straight back to the kitchen to have them redone
We won t be making the mistake of ordering food a third time
Cool place to bring the family to have bit of pub grub. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Bouncing castle available for kids and play area with slippery slide too.
There are disable parking and wheelchair friendly entrances.
Good selection of beers. Dan Murphy rouse hill is right next door.
Nice place to have a meal and catch up with friends.
There are arcade games inside as well.
Decent food, good beer selection, plenty of activities like live music and arcade games.
One of my personal favourite places to go with a larger group, great atmosphere & fantastic food!
Loved this place! I used to work here! They are good people and very accomodating! Delicious food aswell!
Love this place with a great atmosphere in an awesome location
Had lunch there today and was shocked to see both guests and staff stick their heads into the food warmer within inches of other peoples meals to talk about where their orders were. In the day and age of death from Covid-19 you'd think they'd know better. I raised the issue with Jeremy and was informed that the health dept had inspected and approved their food handling procedures. Twice I had to step back from Jeremy as he clearly didn't comprehend the 1.5m rule and only agreed to get my food if it was brought direct to the table and not be placed in the food warmer.....Won't be eating there again anytime soon.
