This was my first time buying a house and using my VA loan. As a service member I naturally turned to USAA. However, I ran into an issue once I was the highest bidder on a house. I recently refinanced my home loan with Essex Mortgage by utilizing the VA IRRRL program. They gave me the lowest interest rate on the market at 2.25% fixed rate, 30 years fixed. It lowered my monthly payment to $300 which amounts to thousands of dollars in savings for me and family. Daniel Neal was our Mortgage Broker and he took care of our needs from day 1 until closing. March of 2020 Essex acquired my loan. Since then I have yet to receive any information about it. I only know because, the Original mortgage company told me. I have had to make payments to the Original mortgage company because everytime I call I get forwarded to a voicemail. I leave the voicemail with a promise to call back within 24 hours. I have been calling since at least April. IT IS NOW JULY.

Jahaira help me with all the information I need it she was pretty helpful and efficient.
