After asking them to stop, and getting reassurances from Troy Weatherly that they would stop, I continue to get spam from them. Why would I ever do business again with a company that ignores laws that they find inconvenient like CAN-SPAM? It makes you wonder what other laws they willfully ignore...

I had a very complex refinancing situation. I am retired and my income, though substantial, is almost totally dependent on rental income. Though that income has not wavered during these COVID times, nevertheless, the "underwriters" continued to require tons of documentation to verify the income. That requirement is reasonable, but then, after it took them several weeks to review rent logs, balance sheets, rental agreements, etc, they then wanted updated check registers, rental income records, etc., in case anything had changed in the past 3 weeks.
I was ready to quit the process altogether, but, Chris hung in there with me, calmed me when I was ranting, kept me encouraged that the loan would happen, and finally brought it home for me.

He is (in my opinion), rude, unprofessional, and sketchy in his business practice; lack of communication, changing of terms, and to top it all off very rude and unprofessional text messages when I decided not to go with him on a re-fi. I have never, ever experienced someone at petty as Chris Collins when I asked him to leave me alone. I could go on but I think the point is made. I would be concerned about dealing with any company that allows someone like Chris Collins to work for them.
