Very good Brazilian steakhouse. Most importantly, excellent cuts of meat and preparation. Decent cocktails and salad bar. Friendly service, though a little bit too pushy about ordering drinks. Acceptable ambiance and location.
Overall, a satisfying experience, but not outstanding.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience Choosing this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary yesterday (01/27).
The atmosphere, decoration (the chandeliers give the impression that the ceiling is full of lighted balloons, loved it), service, meat (we are used to Brazilian steakhouses here in the USA, and in Brazil, I have to say that the meat surprised by the salt in measure and the taste of the real barbecue), varied buffet, and the papaya cream dessert With a cassis sorbet in the center .
We were really happy to have chosen this place for our celebration of this important date.

I would just like to give a tip to the manager of the restaurant: the foot of the table is very big, and for those who are jumping, the position of the legs is very uncomfortable, and even for those who are wearing sneakers.

But overall it was a very pleasant experience!

This must have been the priciest "buffet" that I have ever gone to, but the $55 per person tag price as of writing was well worth its money (unless you're a vegetarian).

You start off with a salad bar and fill your plate to your heart's content. What the allure of this place though is a sign on your table that you turn "on" and "off" to indicate whether you want one of what seems like a dozen waiters to pass by your table with a stick of meat of varying types, from steak to chicken hearts to grilled pineapple. All meats served were succulent and tasty.

The only deterrent to coming back sooner to this place would be the price, but otherwise this is definitely a place to go to for birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special occasion.

This was almost like a religious experience! Me and my girlfriend went here for my birthday and were treated unbelievably well. Every thing about this place is amazing, the quality of the meat is just so much better than 90% of what you find at alot of other places, and it is cooked to just pure, absolute perfection! I didn't want to leave, other than being afraid of going into a food coma if I stayed too much longer.

Food is great. But do not go on a busy day, like a holiday. Reservations mean nothing here. I waited an hour and a half on Valentine's day. Waitstaff was patient and nice about it, but they overbooked so badly there was a mob of at least 15 unhappy girlfriends standing for hours in stilleto heels.

Delicious meat for days. They keep coming back with different options (including shrimp) unless you say you're good. In addition to that, they have a great salad bar. You will not leave hungry. I'm not an expert but the wine selection seemed ok and they had beer and mixed drinks.

Where to start! Well don't fill yourself up at the salad bar. The rule here is to use the serve me chip wisely. They come by with different meats on skewers and slice items you want. Get a few items enjoy, get some more. Your eyes will be bigger than your stomach because everything they bring by looks fantastic and tastes fantastic. Just make sure you try to sample as much as possible.

Very welcoming, great atmosphere. The food was really good, but had some blackout periods (no longer than 10 mins) where no one was going around serving food. The wine collection is amazing. Salad bar has a great variety, but do not stuff on it and save space for the meat

A meat lovers paradise! The staff continually walks the floor with different types of meats to serve on your waiting platter. I love the red light/green light signals on the table to alert the staff if you are ready for more meat. I find that our tables are consistently 'green' :)

A great place for a group, with reservations, and a place to celebrate that special carnivore in your life.

It's expensive, but I did get to eat 18 different cuts of various meats. Caipirinhas and Pao de Queijos were really tasty.

Top three meats:
1. Salt-rubbed Sirloin (may be too salty for some, but I loved it)
2. Filet Mignon (not the bacon wrapped kind)
3. Brazilian chicken leg (super moist and delicious chicken)

Let's get right to the point - unlimited food, but honestly nothing was memorable. 2.5 Stars. Nice Space - 3.5 stars. Atmosphere - 2 stars. Value - 2 stars (i.e. expensive for average food and atmosphere). Service -1 star. Our waiter was not helpful in the least. He never told us that there was a salad bar. He never brought us plates. He never cleared our salad plates. We had to ask for everything. 'Can we please have plates?!' 'Can you clear our salad plates?!' 'Can we please get another drink?' Abysmal. Pathetic. Unprofessional. Given the extremely poor service, average food, and high price, I give this place ONE STAR.

Fantastic! A delightful place, all very beautiful, clean and organized.

They serve Brazilian steakhouse style, with salad buffet at will, and skewers being served on tables, with Brazilian cuts.

The staff are very attentive and kind, some speak Portuguese which facilitates communication. The name of meats everyone knows in Portuguese :-)

The value is higher than ordinary restaurants in San Francisco, but I found it fair for the service and food offered. I would definitely go back.

My spouse celebrated her 65th (ouch!) birthday here, and the entire experience was delightful from start to finish. No doubt the hardest working, friendliest and most amazing servers anywhere, and every cut of meat was outstanding. The array of buffet items is also mindboggling and no one should come away displeased not finding something with which to be totally overwhelmed and satisfied. Topping off our visit was a spirited, heartrending rendition of "Feliz anniversario e parabens" by the staff as well as a hug and best wishes from the hostess. Good value and an unforgettable evening. Muito obrigado a voces e ate' logo!

Very good "all you can eat" restaurant. There is an extensive salad bar and the meat is of excellent quality.

The Brazilian barbecue restaurant on the San Francisco Peninsula is especially recommended by the son-in-law and daughter. There are seven kinds of Brazilian barbecue during lunch. In addition to beef and chicken, there are actually moderately fat pork belly. All barbecues are pre-dipped in different sauces before they are put on the shelves. Roasted, you have to choose a bit well-cooked, it is already fragrant before eating.
I heard that there are twelve kinds of grilled meat and prawns for dinner. I will visit again next time. I can t believe how many of the twelve kebabs I can eat?
In addition to Brazilian kebabs, I especially want to emphasize that the appetizers are exquisite and delicious. It is rare that all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurants will specially prepare more attractive dishes. Just lettuce salad and some side dishes are available for you to eat. full.
And don t eat the fried plantain desserts and chickpea fries that are on the table first, otherwise you will regret why your stomach is so small?
Before the end, I received a free exquisite ice cream to my two-year-old grandson. Wow, everyone is happy.
I'm too busy to shoot every dish in detail.
I highly recommend this Brazilian barbecue restaurant, eat it yourself! Just looking at photos is not enough to satisfy your mouth.
Let me remind you, eat less appetizers, and barbecue is of course the protagonist.

Food was delicious, all steaks were pretty bad. Many were served cold, also took forever to come. We were done with the food in our plate by the time the meat came. If you re not from San Fran keep in mind they charge a ridiculous fee called healthy SF can be pricey since their food is a little expensive.

My gf and I went for dinner here on Good Friday. On getting off the F line trolly, the wonderful smells of wood fired grilling hits you and lures you in. Called at 7 for a reservation at 8. They had an open table and we decided to take it. More

This was an amazing and fun dinning experience that I had been putting off for years, but so happy I finally tried it and especially this place. Seen advertisements for ages of Brazilian meat restaurants where they walk around with scurried meats and cut it at your table and thought it was something hokey for tourists. Well, there is a little bit of hokeyness from the servers coming around in fancy gauchoish outfits, but the food and especially the meat is just phenomenal. So it is all you can eat, which allows you to enjoy the items that you like and indulge in the meat gluttony that comes table side and carves you your meat right in front of you hot from the kitchen. The quality and flavors of all the meats are just incredible.

I want to say to the person who said it's not for vegetarians- YOU DON'T NEED TO SAY THAT!!! Anyone who's STUPID enough to go to a Brazilian STEAKHOUSE might as well eat it while convincing themselves and their friends/family that STEAK is a VEGETABLE!!!!!

Waitstaff is incredibly nice, a bunch of chillers. The caipirinha pitcher is a little watered down, but the food is great. Not the parmesan steak though, that one was underwhelming tbh. I really liked that in the bathroom they have cloth towels (single use and then u throw them into a basket, real brasilian style)

I had a surprise birthday here, and Espetus went above and beyond to help me plan it: they let me store the cake a day in advance, had the balloons set up, and even called the birthday boy in for us surprise him. The food service was excellent as well. For all you can eat delicious fine meats, the price was very good. The salad bar, surprisingly, was also delicious but I tried not to fill up on salad since the main attraction is the meat. The Caiprihnas are also excellent. The location is ideal for big groups, and they are centrally located in central Market, close to Hayes Valley which makes for a nice evening stroll.

What sets Espetus apart from other Brazilian steakhouses, is definitely their method of cooking the meat. Unlike places that cook the meat over natural gas, Espetus uses wood. This imparts a delicious smokey flavor to all of the meat cuts, making Espetus one of my favorites in the city.
