Plan to eat for hours. When I go here I plan ahead and eat as little as I can for a day or so before I go. The service is continuous - they keep bringing food until you surrender and turn the little indicator wheel from green (bring more meat) to red (stop - I'm going to explode). There is a salad bar that is stocked with fantastic food but the reason you should go is the meats. They keep bringing the best cuts of meat for as long as you can keep eating. Pace yourself. This is a marathon; not a sprint. Take your time and set a pace you can maintain or you will miss out..... and or die from eating too fast.

This was amazing experience. I had 16 people for my birthday and the manager was so nice and came over upon us arriving making sure everything was alright three out the evening. Great service we will come again definitely. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful birthday dinner. You all were amazing.

All the meat was so delicious, especially the chicken hearts; who knew. I would highly rate this restaurant. Atmosphere was casual, and seemed really family oriented.

I have been here several times for some special dates. The ambiance is nice and staff friendly. The meat has been inconsistent. On a couple of occasions it was fantastic but on others disappointing. Overall I'd consider it a bit too expensive.

The best dining experience I've had at a "buffet" ever!! First visit here. The Sangria was perfectly sweet. The meat was deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection. The servers were always polite, courteous and very attentive. As long as our sign was green, the meat kept coming to our table! The grilled pineapple was so juicy and sweet! We ended the meal with coffee and 2 scoops of gelato; creme bruele and salted Carmel. So perfect!!

Wow! Each of the food items taste exquisite. One of those places where you are too stuffed to move but still don't want to give up eating more! Also, the friendly service make you feel at home. A must visit!

Great place to experience some of the vast cuisine of Brazil. Keep in mind that it won't be cheap (especially if you go during dinner time). However, it's worth it! A lot of tasteful food (not only meats, but cheese and salad as well!) on top of a nice reception and comfortable facilities. Super recommend it!

Lunch costs $29 per personfor 7meat serving. For us 3coke and 10%tipping, $40per each person.

We were really unpleasantly surprised by the final bill. Be advised that dinner here will come out to nearly $100 a person. Great food but terrible value.

I'm somewhat of a fastidious person when it comes to churrascarias because I spent a good chunk of my childhood as an expat in Brazil, and have also tried numerous locations of all the big chains in the U.S. like Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil. In SF, you're looking at basically Espetus or Fogo de Chao. Here's the breakdown of where each restaurant is better than the other:

Espetus: MUCH better salad bar, grilled pineapple, specialty cuts like chicken hearts and beef ribs come out regularly(thus they're more fresh) slighlty more affordable

Fogo de Chao: Meat is grilled more towards medium rear whereas Espetus grills to medium. Slightly better overall service.

Great selection of meats and lots of choice for salads, breads and other Brazilian food. Great spot!

I think I prefer the San Mateo location more..the San Francisco one is noticeably smaller and there isn't as much room to move around. This is especially hard when you have to maneuver between hoards of people just to grab a few deviled eggs. As far as the food goes, the taste and variety was about the same. The grilled pineapples this time tasted a little sour, but still a good break from all the meat. I scanned all night for a waiter with garlic sirloin steak, but it never came out. So if you don't see any and you desperately crave it, just ask one of the waiters and they will make a fresh batch for you!

Went for a birthday dinner with a large group of about 20. The restaurant was very accommodating and very attentive to such a large group. Unfortunately I didn t get pictures. All the meats they offered were amazing and I highly recommend the grilled pineapple.

Came here for lunch over the weekend since I knew that I wouldn't be able to eat my money's share of meat for dinner. Overall not a bad place but only worth it for those who love love love meat. Surprisingly, the meats that I thought were the most flavorful and would have seconds of were the chicken and pork! The beef was just OK...gamier than usual steak.

The salad bar and fried bananas that they give you are actually quite good and nice to have for those who are not big meat lovers.

A feast to behold! Just don't overdo the salad bar because you'll want to try all the delicious meat offerings!

Great spot for meat lovers. Sixteen different varieties of perfectly cooked meats carved right at your table. The Filet Mignon was one of my favorites !. The warm pineapple was also great.

All of the meat was amazing. There was a ton of different meat choices that kept coming to our table and I didn't regret asking for any of them. I'm a big fan of perfectly cooked rare steaks and they did not disappoint. My favorite was the filet mignon.

This restaurant is definitely one of the finest restaurants in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am awfully pleased. They preserve their very high standard service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You always win with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Yummm! My.....this was an awesome place to eat at. I had never had Brazilian food before and this was really good. All the different kinds of meat....and the buffet was good too!

The dinner is so good. They have one too many birthdays so you know this is the restaurant for special people celebrating special occasions. I love meat and there s almost nothing here there isn t good. But it s the pineapple that surprised me it s so good!

This was an amazing and fun dinning experience that I had been putting off for years, but so happy I finally tried it and especially this place.

Seen advertisements for ages of Brazilian meat restaurants where they walk around with scurried meats and cut it at your table and thought it was something hokey for tourists. Well, there is a little bit of hokeyness from the servers coming around in fancy gauchoish outfits, but the food and especially the meat is just phenomenal.

So it is all you can eat, which allows you to enjoy the items that you like and indulge in the meat gluttony that comes table side and carves you your meat right in front of you hot from the kitchen. The quality and flavors of all the meats are just incredible.

There is the salad bar with complimenting items for your meal, along with some table breads, but try not to fill up on those as it really is all about the meat. However, make sure you leave room for dessert. They have some great desserts that are a bit exotic and out of the norm.

Even though the place was very busy, everyone from the hostess, to the servers, and floor manager were all very friendly and professional. You can really tell this place knows what they are doing.

Will definitely be back and don't hesitate to recommend this place.

I thought it was a great dining experience. My second visit. Great red meats, and the pork butt was good. Really didn't care for the parmesan pork, chicken, or sausage. Good service and tasty desserts. Will go back!

Grilled pineapple is the best meat at this all-you-can eat Brazillian steak house, but the tri-tip is pretty amazing too, and bacon-wrapped chicken is definitely a hilight...

Amazing! If you enjoy well cooked meats. This is the place. Wait staff circulate around the room with various cuts and types of meat on skewers and carve pieces off for you table side. Extensive salad and hot food bar too. It is the Brazilian steakhouse experience. It's all you can eat.

Wonderful Service and Totally Delicious Food.Fried Bananas/Plantains,Mango Salad, Beef Tenderloin that just melts in your mouth.All of the beef and pork was excellent and I must not forget the beef rapped in bacon and also chicken rapped in bacon.I'll be back and I'll also recommend that others try them.

I'm a Brazilian who has eaten at many Brazilian churrascarias outside of Brazil (Spain, Sweden, Holland ) and this is without a doubt the best one. Highly recommend it to anyone passing by SF.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this great place. Well we had a tremendous evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that outstanding event. I have never experienced a Brazillian Steak house. It was amazing!! You have to try this out ASAP and bring your appetite with you because it's all you can eat fresh food!!! Delicious!!!

I arrive at this excellent place every couple of days since I love the ambiance that is part of this place. The team is highly loyal and professional. The service is awfully rapid. Most important, the food they prepare is great. I have been there more than once and I was never disappointed. The price is honest. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

It's a place you have to go with an empty stomach. I was beyond pleased the serves was beyond my expectations. I truly loved it.

It was alright. I m prefer a menu to order what I want in a larger portion. This is something my girlfriend wanted to experience. $50+ a person for the amount of food you are served at one individual time is not my plan of a good time. The food along the wall seemed like a 99 cent buffet. It could really be way better than that.

I went there Sunday, August 13, 2017 with my wife and father in law, and it was more than I expected; the service and food was world class. I would give ten stars if I could!! The selection and succulence of the meat was hands down the best I ever had. The arrangement of the salad bar was irresistible; so many healthy dishes, I loved them all. I plan two go back as soon as I can. By far one of the best steakhouses in S.F.
