Palazzo Litta is a historic building located in Corso Magenta in Milan. Considered one of the most important examples of Milanese Baroque architecture, it is currently the seat of the Regional Secretariat of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism for Lombardy, of the Regional Museum Complex of Lombardy and of the Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for Metropolitan city of Milan.

Beautiful historic building in Milan, perhaps a little 'underestimated. We should enhance it and make it known to the Milanese and the many tourists. Occasionally it hosts events or exhibitions, but for short periods. The halls, despite everything, are fairly well preserved. It is clear that the taste of beauty was a peculiarity of wealthy families of that era. Obviously for a more accurate maintenance and enhancement it takes a lot of money but could be inserted into a cultural circuit (as happens for example in Pisa). The position in which it is located is easily accessible by public transport, and this is another plus point. For those who have free time at the disposal of the council, consider taking the idea of moving to enjoy the beauty of the building.

A palace that has lived many lives in its distant past and that especially today thanks to cultural initiatives is often transformed by hosting design and art from every place on the planet.

A true example of Lombard noble palace of 700. Beautiful decorations in every room. Too bad the furnishings are missing (only a living room maintains period furniture). A restoration would be necessary.

Beautiful, it is beautiful; but basically not open to the public and still needs other restorations especially in the furnishings. The external pavement is not particularly easy and safe.

I went to the Palazzo Litta for the Milan design week. Despite living in Milan for years I did not know the existence of this pearl. The palace is something amazing, wonderful. The rooms are extraordinary. This is the Milan that I like, the Milan that still knows how to amaze me with its beauty.
Go and visit it ... I highly recommend it.

Beautiful experience, in a smaller and different room from the usual one, for the suggestive show by Corrado D'Elia taken from Dante's Inferno. It is really difficult to succeed, after so many versions, to still be passionate about this famous work, yet the artist has succeeded, making the public want a less reduced version.

The building is open only for events. In our case the exhibition "Arte liberata". The noble floor of the building is a jewel of the Baroque. There are furnishings, chandeliers, even wooden floors and frescoed ceilings of great interest. The contemporary works of art exhibited as a counterpoint. An unforgettable visit. The only drawback is the need to restore some parts of the tapestries and fixtures. In any case, Palazzo Litta deserves the utmost attention.

on a rainy day in May Milan organizes its beautiful event Cortili Aperti .. High expectations that were a little disregarded until I arrived at Palazzo Litta where I was greeted by the notes of a piano and the voice of a petite but incredible woman scenic power .. wonder! super organization!

Very beautiful building, one of the baroque jewels of the Milanese panorama. The front on Corso Magenta is spectacular and the interiors are also very beautiful, complete with a mini Versailles-style gallery of mirrors, however ... forget to visit it, unless it is the venue for an event with open doors. It is not possible to visit it even through associations and groups. Because? Because the palace has been the headquarters of the Superintendency of Artistic Heritage for several years, which does not give permits. And so we are faced with yet another Italian contradiction: the body that should enhance the artistic heritage instead depresses it: for this reason the three stars (because the interiors deserve 5). However if there is an event that allows you to enter and see the rooms, take advantage of it, it's worth it!

Majestic luxury building in the center of Milan, it represents a hidden pearl. I was to see a rock concert in the beautiful courtyard and to see a movie in an internal room, between the walls covered with real tapestries and the baroque decorations, open for exhibitions. A highly recommended tour.

Art liberated, from the seizure to the museum: the story of a collection confiscated in Lombardy, which presents 69 works by Italian and foreign authors of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries: a collection of contemporary art confiscated from organized crime in Lombardy and assigned to the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities.

Beautiful building that contains the glory and the pomp of the high Milanese aristocracy. Beautiful ballroom with mirrors on the first floor. It is a pity that this monument is almost always closed and rarely opened only once a year, just as events coincide with it

Historical building in the center of Milan, entering it seems to be in another world, it leaves out the chaotic and the metropolis to enter a world made of silence, internal gardens, history and quiet.
